Hard Sayings By Pastor Bill Taylor A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 9/Issue 8 But he said to her, “You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?”… (Job2:10) This is one of the most profound statements in the Bible. The echo of it is found in Galatians where Paul says, “Am I your enemy because I tell you the truth?” (Gal 4:16) Jesus is the Life. Jesus is the Truth. Everything concerning Christianity is an expression of life and truth. Whatever has to do with a lie, has to do with death and is of the enemy. Jesus warns us to beware of false christs who will deceive many. “For false christs and false prophets will rise and show great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matt24:24,26-27) The main context of this has to do with people who claim to be Christ but are false christs. However, there’s also a spiritual application that has to do with anything that pretends to be of Christ but is not of the truth therefore can’t be of Christ. And if you’re seeing something that seems to be of Christ or people who are believing something to be of Christ but it’s very localized or very narrow in its ideology as an interpretation of one or very few scriptures that’s not supported by the whole of the Bible or is actually in disagreement with other scriptures, then what you see or purport to believe can’t be of Christ because Jesus can’t be so localized; He won’t be kept in a box. He won’t be limited to your very small-minded interpretation of scripture. Jesus’ ideology is so broad, His truth will shine from the East to the West. And every truth of His will be supported by the whole of the scriptures. A narrow ideology located in just one or two places in the Bible is a sure sign that you’ve been deceived by a false christ. Brother V. just gave us an example of that where in his Baptist study Bible “You’re fallen from grace,” (Gal 5:4) is interpreted as “a fall from Christian living” and not a fall from “Salvation,” whereas, there are so many strong verses in Galatians like, “I’m afraid for you that I’ve labored in vain for you.” (Gal 4:11) What does Paul mean, “Labored in vain?” If they’re still saved, he hasn’t labored in vain. So they must be lost! And then Paul says, “You’re separated from Christ” (Gal 5:4) You think they’re still saved? Not possible. To be saved is to be joined to the Lord. But he who is joined to the Lord is one Spirit with Him. (1Cor6:17) You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Gal 5:4) The Galatians are seeking to be justified by the law so they’re fallen from grace. And that means they aren’t saved. But even that isn’t as bad as seeking to be justified in sin. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (1Jn3:6,9) A person who’s seeking to be justified by the law is trying to maintain at least the form of righteousness that’s found in the law. (Phil 3:6) Whereas, the wicked Baptists and those like them claim they’re saved while they continue to practice sin and even seem to think believers have a right to sin, in saying, “We’re all just sinners saved by grace” meaning they are still sinners. Whereas, God says, Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God. (1Jn3:7-8,10) So they are not of God since they are still practicing sin, they are not saved. Whereas, the scriptures say the true saints were sinners but now that we are saved we are sinners no more. Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. (1Jn3:6) We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (1Jn5:18) When one interprets a verse like Galatians 5:4 to say it can’t mean you’ve lost your salvation, such a person has already made up his mind “Once saved always saved” is true so everything he hears now has to agree with what he already believes and can’t disagree with “Once saved always saved” or he won’t accept it. But it’s obvious such a one has made his mind up prematurely because so many other verses are plainly contradictory to “Once saved always saved.” Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. (Rom11:20-22) So rather than believe these contradicting scriptures, which would require him to give up his lie, the “Once saved always saved” Baptist rejects what the scriptures say and convinces himself they mean something else. This is the blindness that comes from being captured by a lie and it makes the captive a slave to satan. (2Tim2:26) Such insanity functions in a mind that knows it can’t openly disagree with the scriptures but can make the scriptures mean something that agrees with the lie in order to “appear” to agree with the scriptures. “…A deceived heart has turned him aside…” (Is44:20) Blinded by his sin, the heretic has no ability to rationally determine what is true because his judgment is now infested with lies. He’s already made up his mind wrongly as to what is true. And because he’s made up his mind, he’s fixed in a false belief and now he can’t be changed. Having established himself in the lie, if you present to him a contrary evidence, he won’t hear you. He’s committed to his decision. So even though your evidence is completely sound and totally contradicts him he won’t hear it. When you’ve made your mind up in this way, you’ve closed the door. The trial is over as far as you’re concerned and you’ll not allow anyone to present any more evidence because you’ve already judged. Most people in this world “Rush to Judgment.” That was a book that had to do with the evidence against Oswald in the Kennedy assassination. The “Warren Commission” made a very poor case against Oswald and almost nobody with a sane mind thinks that Oswald actually killed Kennedy. Most believe it had to do with the CIA or the Mafia, etc. and the Oswald thing was just a cover up. But once the judges decided this is what we’re going to say happened, they wouldn’t listen to evidence anymore. If they were to listen to new evidence, they’d have to admit they were wrong in their previous decision and their pride won’t let them do that. Even in our court system concerning “appeals,” the court that heard the original case doesn’t hear it again. It has to go to another court, an “appeals court” to be reviewed and the judge who heard the original case is very ashamed if his case gets turned over by the appellate court. So you can see how strongly some judges can react against having one of their cases reviewed. The wickedness in men is, once they have committed to something, their pride becomes a prison to them. They’ve made their mind up and because of pride there’s no changing them. Almost all the “christianity” around us has made its mind up too quickly. They’ve committed themselves to a christ who’s in the desert or to a christ who’s in the inner room. The Baptists have decided they like the doctrine of “Once saved always saved” so their “christ” lives in the little box of perverted scriptures that seem to agree with that heresy! Others like the doctrine of Ken Hagen, the false prophet of the “faith movement,” who says God never kills or hurts anybody only the devil does. So I guess Moses was working with the devil when the earth opened up to swallow Dathan and Abiram “If these men die naturally like all men, or if they are visited by the common fate of all men, then the LORD has not sent me. “But if the LORD creates a new thing, and the earth opens its mouth and swallows them up with all that belongs to them, and they go down alive into the pit, then you will understand that these men have rejected the LORD.” Now it came to pass, as he finished speaking all these words, that the ground split apart under them, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up, with their households and all the men with Korah, with all their goods. So they and all those with them went down alive into the pit; the earth closed over them, and they perished from among the congregation. (Num16:29-33) Or when Uzzah died for touching the ark, Then the anger of the LORD was aroused against Uzzah, and God struck him there for his error; and he died there by the ark of God. (2Sam6:7) Or Sapphira and Ananias, But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, “Ananias, why has satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.” Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him. Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?” She said, “Yes, for so much.” Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things. (Acts5:1-11) We can also remind you of Noah’s flood or the killing of the first born in Egypt. There are so many scriptures that show God can both kill and make alive that when people come up with a doctrine like Ken Hagen’s that is so patently in disagreement with God’s Word, what must be inside of them? What a limited little false christ they are following. They must be wishing or hoping for a god who would never hurt anybody because they are afraid of the real God. And you think, what is it that scares them about a God who has the power to punish? It must be they’re afraid they can’t be good enough to please Him which means they really don’t have a saving “faith.” The real God scares them and they must make up a false god they can be comfortable with. So they come up with a few twisted scriptures to support their false doctrine. Then they get other people to believe them and they’re all taken in by what appears to be a “nice lie.” Remember Job2:10. If God can’t talk to you about unpleasant things, if you’ll only listen to Him concerning things you like then you’ll never get to know Him because there are a lot of unpleasant things in the world and He has to warn us about them and teach us regarding them. As Jesus says of Paul, “For I will show him how many things he must suffer for My name’s sake.” (Acts9:16) And to the Smyrnians, “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Rev2:10) And to His disciples, From that time Jesus began to show to His disciples that He must go to Jerusalem, and suffer many things from the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised the third day. Then Peter took Him aside and began to rebuke Him, saying, “Far be it from You, Lord; this shall not happen to You!” But He turned and said to Peter, “Get behind Me, satan! You are an offense to Me, for you are not mindful of the things of God, but the things of men.” Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.” (Matt16:21-24) People who don’t want to hear the unpleasant things are “satan.” They aren’t mindful of the things of God but the things of men. That aptly describes the “faith movement” heretics. Everything that pertains to real Christianity has sufferings in it. And this is an indictment against all the so-called “christians” who refuse to listen when God is saying something unpleasant. They’re all guilty of the same thing; they savor the things of man and they don’t savor the things of God. It’s a total indictment of contemporary christianity that just about everything they find unpleasant they’ll say, “That’s not God.” Pastor Bill, First I would like to say that God has really blessed you in the knowledge of His Word. I have been a faithful reader of The Glory of His Grace and “wow” what an eye opener. I prayed for God to reveal His truths to me in 2002, and in 2003 was transferred to a camp where I met A.J. who introduced me to your Glory Of His Grace book "Once Saved/Always Saved." Through your books, my eyes have been opened spiritually. People have risen up stating I shouldn’t “judge.” Those who are supposed to be “christians” tell me I’m “arguing” when I defend God’s Word and come against false doctrines. They say I’m being too hard on them. I’ve just completed “Curstians not Christians,” and while reading it, it’s like my attitude went from immaturity to maturity. Even though I sometimes make mistakes, I’m not staying in the mud; I’m not going to let satan win. The Bible says, “be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I’ve also learned that my “study Bible” was written by a Baptist, because when the Bible says, “You have fallen from grace” (Gal 5:4) he states it’s not a fall from salvation it’s a fall from Christian living. But the scriptures teach a fall from Christian living is a fall from salvation. So through the Spirit I’m seeing truth and understanding what many who claim to be “christians” don’t understand. Thank you for answering the call of God to expose the false doctrines in this world. Respectfully, V.J. “You are judging me.” “You are hurting me.” “You’re being too hard on me.” This is a peculiar contrast to the book of Job. Job’s comforters didn’t want to think that God could or would allow any harm to come to a righteous man so they slandered Job in order to defend their erroneous doctrines which gave them a false sense of security. Job, however, protested his innocence and told these comforters they were judging him wrongly. But today these people are not claiming “innocence” because they know they’re not innocent. Nor are they accusing us of judging wrongly – but even when they know our judgments are accurate they claim it’s wrong to judge. So they hide their sin behind “Don’t judge,” and slander the righteous who speak the truth about their sins. We are currently reissuing a very important “Glory Of His Grace” book called “True Faith.” One of the major doctrines God has revealed in that book is testimony is evidence and all evidence has to rest on testimony. The bloody knife is worth nothing as evidence unless somebody testifies concerning whose knife it is and where it was found and whose blood is on it, etc. So testimony is the very foundation of all evidence. It’s a tragedy most people don’t know that. Most people in today’s world are completely unaware of the important relationship between testimony and evidence. Consider how important it is to understand what evidence is if you’re to find what truth is. You destroy your own ability to receive the truth when you deny God or His people the right to testify about anything you don’t like or you don’t want to hear. “Only say sweet things.” “Tickle my ears.” “Make the God of Israel get out of my way.” “Prophesy delusions.” This is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD; Who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.” (Is30:9-11) Carnal men don’t want to hear any evidence contrary to their comfort and when they do hear such evidences they resist or pervert them. Yet instead of waiting to determine what’s really true they’ll rush to judgment and receive false evidence if they like the idea the false evidences support. “Judge not lest you be judged.” doesn’t forbid judging to help someone see and repent of their sins. But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings. (Jer23:22) Brethren, if anyone among you wanders from the truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins. (Jas5:19-20) “Judge not,” (Matt7:1) means don’t judge unrighteously or destructively or for selfish purposes lest you be judged unrighteously or destructively, etc. “The measure (of judgment) you use will be measured back to you. (v2) But if you get the plank (sin) out of your eye you can judge righteously to help save your brother. (Matt7:2-5) Good judging is not forbidden, but bad judging. Jesus showed me from the very beginning of my Christianity that you can’t hide behind “judge not” and ever be cleansed of your sins. This is something the false christians have not learned. Jesus is still teaching me more about judging and what I’m learning right now is you haven’t judged until you’ve closed the book. As long as you’re still hearing evidence, you haven’t “judged.” Judgment has happened when a final decision is made. Then the case is no longer open and you won’t hear new or contrary evidences. The majority of people, even so-called christians today, close the books way too soon. Do you not know that we shall judge angels? How much more, things that pertain to this life? (1Cor6:3) God is working His wisdom into us, His true saints, so we can be righteous “judges.” And one very important characteristic of a righteous judge is he’ll stay open minded until the evidence is complete and irrefutable. So, we’re to be slow to judge and diligent to judge rightly but we are certainly not forbidden to judge. Do you not know that the saints will judge the world? And if the world will be judged by you, are you unworthy to judge the smallest matters? (1Cor6:2) An important part of the judgment process is to ask questions and to do that isn’t “judging,” as in making a final judgment. When we’re asking questions, we’re “investigating.” In the terms of an investigation, we’re allowed to make tentative accusations; not for the purpose of closing the book but for the purpose of exploring the possibilities to see what’s really true! So in certain situations you can say to a brother, “It looks like you did this, so explain to me why it isn’t so and don’t tell me that I’m not allowed to ‘judge’ you because under these circumstances I am.” For I indeed, as absent in body but present in spirit, have already judged (as though I were present) him who has so done this deed. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves that evil person.” (1Cor5:3,12-13) “Explain to me why what I’m seeing isn’t so.” But wicked people who can’t defend themselves because they are in sin, instead of explaining why it isn’t so they want to shut you up by saying “don’t judge.” But in such situations we have to judge and come to a righteous decision. And we must go through an investigative process to do that. We’re commanded to. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.” (Matt7:15) It requires “judgment” to determine who’s a false prophet. “You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles? Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” (Matt7:16,20) “I know your works, your labor, your patience, and that you cannot bear those who are evil. And you have tested (judged) those who say they are apostles and are not, and have found them liars” (Rev2:2) So to “test” such things we have to judge. Since all evidence is based on testimony, then it’s very important we understand how to “judge” testimony as to what is true and what isn’t. It’s also very important to understand Jesus is giving evidence when He testifies! And when He says, “Get behind Me satan.” to Peter, it’s because Peter is rejecting the testimony of Christ. Peter has already made up his mind the things which Jesus is saying will happen won’t. So he’s not listening to God. Jesus is God! Peter’s calling the testimony of God a lie to Jesus’ face. And the point is, if Peter can do this then you’d better watch yourself. What Peter has done is established a prejudice. He’s made a final judgment concerning this subject and he won’t listen to anything contrary. When these foolish Baptists say, “You can’t lose your salvation, don’t tell me you can. That verse doesn’t mean what it seems because we’ve already decided you can’t lose your salvation.” Similarly, Peter is saying, “We’ve already decided You’re the Messiah and the Messiah won’t be crucified.” Jesus says, “Get behind Me satan. You don’t like what God has to say whenever God says something disagreeable to what you already believe according to your worldly lusts.” So people who’ve already made up their mind as to what they believe won’t even listen to God if He disagrees with “their” belief! And behold, two men talked with Him, who were Moses and Elijah, who appeared in glory and spoke of His decease which He was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. (Lk9:30-31) Jesus was speaking to Peter of His decease and Peter wouldn’t listen. But on the Mount of Transfiguration Moses and Elijah spoke to Jesus about His coming crucifixion and Jesus listens. Jesus doesn’t turn His ear away because it’s a hard saying! One of the most glorious characteristics of the living Christ is, The Lord GOD has opened My ear; and I was not rebellious, nor did I turn away. I gave My back to those who struck Me, and My cheeks to those who plucked out the beard; I did not hide My face from shame and spitting. (Isa50:5-6) In Christ we always see His total submission to His Father’s will for Him, even when it’s very unpleasant. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord. (2Cor3:18) Can you behold the glory of the supremely obedient Christ? The Mount of Transfiguration is where you see Jesus shining with glory, the glory of a man who can listen to God tell Him about His own decease and suffering with complete humility and a heart open to receive everything His Father is saying; not arguing with Him, just listening. Then Jesus said to Peter, “Put your sword into the sheath. Shall I not drink the cup which My Father has given Me?” (Jn18:11) Here’s a man who doesn’t resist God in the least because He does what Job says we ought to do. Shall we indeed accept good from God and shall we not accept adversity? (Job2:10) We ought to be able to receive the hard things as well as the pleasant ones, the hard sayings as well as the easy. Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.” (Jn6:53,57) You see how most of the disciples left Jesus because they said, “This is a hard saying.” (v60,66) How many who claim to be “christians” today have left the real Jesus, left Jesus the Truth, because they can’t accept His hard sayings? Baptist, Catholics, “faith movement” charismatics. Yet compared to what Jesus was listening to that wasn’t a hard saying at all. These “disciples” left because of a little thing. They left on a “just a little difficult to understand” saying. Jesus is letting Moses and Elijah tell Him what He’s soon to endure at the cross. They’re telling Him He’ll be spit on and His beard will be ripped out and He’ll be mocked and hung on a tree with nails through His hands and feet. How can a true “believer” have any understanding of what Jesus went through and then “stumble” because of a “hard saying?” For consider Him who endured such hostility from sinners against Himself, lest you become weary and discouraged in your souls. You have not yet resisted to bloodshed, striving against sin. (Heb12:3-4) Jesus is completely submissive to what the Father is telling Him through Moses and Elijah, preparing Him for this gruesome death. “But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do.” (Jn14:31) Yet all around us we have this fake “christianity” saying, “Tell me sweet things, don’t tell me anything hard to hear.” (Isa30:9-10) And there’s not an atom of Jesus in any of them. Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. (1Jn4:17) You aren’t of Christ unless you’re able to listen to anything God has to tell you. “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me.” (Jn10:27) “He who is of God hears God’s words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” (Jn8:47) Here are some “hard sayings” Jesus has given His disciples: “If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Matt5:29-30) “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and kill you, and you will be hated by all nations for My name’s sake.” (Matt24:9) Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.’” (Matt26:31) If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.” (Jn15:18-21) “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. And these things they will do to you because they have not known the Father nor Me.” (Jn16:1-3) “Most assuredly, I say to you, when you were young, you girded yourself and walked where you wished; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will gird you and carry you where you do not wish.” This He spoke, signifying by what death Peter would glorify God. (Jn21:18-19) “Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Rev2:10) Jesus says, “Some of you are going to die for Me, you’ll be imprisoned for Me.” Anyone who says, “God wouldn’t say such a thing” shows himself to be completely ignorant of the scriptures. Such people don’t know God. There are so many places in the Bible where God talks about judgments to come and unpleasant things that must happen; how can anybody who rejects these “hard sayings” know God? They can’t know Him at all. And if you don’t know Him, you don’t have eternal life (Jn17:3) If you reject His “hard sayings” you’re rejecting truth on the basis that you don’t like it, not on the basis it’s falsehood or you can prove it wrong. And anybody who rejects truth is rejecting Jesus. They reject truth because they don’t love truth. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thes2:9-12) These “churches” and “christians” who’ve rejected the “hard sayings” of God have already traded the truth for the lie. Who exchanged the truth of God for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. (Rom1:25) They’ve already rejected the true Christ for antichrist. They’ve already accepted a false christ. They’ve disregarded the warning where Jesus says, “If they say He’s in the desert or the inner room don’t go there.” They’ve run after a little christ in a box, in the inner room; a false christ whose doctrine appeals to them but whose word is twisted according to their biased interpretation. Their beliefs are very localized; partisan and sectarian and you can’t make them apply to the whole Word of God because they agree only with their prejudices and not with the rest of scriptures. So you have this cult over here, the Baptists believing their “Once saved always saved” lie. And this Catholic cult over there idolatrously worshipping Mary and many saints. And “faith movement” charismatics wickedly pursuing riches and worldly success when Paul says, “flee such things.” (1Tim6:11) And the Calvinist cults have “predestination” which denies God has given man the right to choose! “Choose life!” (Deu30:19) And they all have these little “desert” things and these little “inner room” things, which don’t agree with the whole Bible. They cling to a few twisted verses which they base their “imaginary” christ upon. Our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. (2Pet3:15-16) None of them have seen the light that shines from East to West. They haven’t seen the light that covers the whole Word. “Therefore if they say to you, ‘Look, He is in the desert!’ do not go out; or ‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’ do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matt24:26-27) And they don’t have the real Christ which is what the warning is about. “See, I have told you beforehand.” (Matt24:25) Many will be deceived by false christs. The Calvinist “churches” have a false christ, the Baptists have a false christ, the Catholics have a false christ because they didn’t wait for the Christ whose light shines all the way from the East to the West. They took hold of something they thought was light but it was too small to be light! It was darkness disguised as light. “But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!” (Matt6:23) Look, all you who kindle a fire, who encircle yourselves with sparks: walk in the light of your fire and in the sparks you have kindled-- this you shall have from My hand: you shall lie down in torment. (Isa50:11) They kindled a light of their own, took hold of a falsehood, not truth. And once they’re captured by the lie, you can’t talk to them. They won’t even listen to God. They’ll take the most plain and simple verse like, “You have fallen from grace” and twist it into a lie, “That just means they aren’t living like Christians, not that they’ve lost their salvation.” For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God. (Eph2:8) If you are fallen from grace you aren’t saved! These Baptist hypocrites say they are “saved by grace” but then when the Bible shows it’s possible to “fall from grace,” they decide they are not “saved by grace” because they say falling from grace doesn’t damage their salvation. So they must believe they are “saved by being saved.” Grace has nothing to do with it if you can fall from grace and still be saved. What insanity! “Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects; Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. For He bruises, but He binds up; He wounds, but His hands make whole.” (Job5:17-18) “…My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor be discouraged when you are rebuked by Him; For whom the LORD loves He chastens, And scourges every son whom He receives.” (Heb12:5-6) “Come, and let us return to the LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up.” (Hos6:1) “My son, do not despise the chastening of the LORD, Nor detest His correction; For whom the LORD loves He corrects…” (Pr3:11-12) When Job says, “How many are my iniquities and sins? Make me know my transgression and my sin.” (Job13:23) He’s asking for correction. When David says, “cleanse me from secret sins”, (Ps19:12) he’s asking for correction. Jesus says the Holy Spirit will convict the world of sin. (Jn16:8) Conviction is God correcting you. Anyone who won’t listen when God speaks “hard sayings” won’t listen when God is convicting. Because conviction, correction or chastening is always a “hard saying.” Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (Heb12:11) So people who only want to hear compliments, they only want God to say pleasant things and they won’t accept anything where God may be warning of a trial that may be coming, such people won’t receive correction either. If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. (Heb12:7-8) The truth of this is painfully evident. All around us we continually hear these wicked Baptists saying, “don’t judge me” or “you are being too hard” or they accuse us of arguing when what we’re doing is defending the faith. (Jude3) They don’t want to hear anything that convicts them or makes them feel uncomfortable or anything that means they might have to suffer in the flesh to cease from sin. (1Pet4:1) They will not endure the chastening of the Lord (Heb12:7-8). They’ve already thrown God away and picked up an idol of their own making, a false god they can get along with who won’t hurt their feelings or interfere with their carnal ways and worldly interests. They’ve created an imaginary christ to bless them in their iniquity and they don’t want to hear the real One who’s come to destroy the works of the evil one. (1Jn3:8) Don’t be deceived into thinking they have some “form of Christ” in them. There’s only one real Jesus and He’s the same, yesterday, today and forever. (Heb13:8) What they have is the lie and no lie is of the truth! And what they have in them is the antichrist. Who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called god or that is worshiped, so that he sits as god in the temple of God, showing himself that he is god. (2Thes2:4) They are of the spirit that loves the lie and they especially reject any truth that’s difficult or hard to take. “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (Jn8:44) Even when you love someone in this world to marry them you must receive them “for better or worse.” In order to associate in the good, you must take the bad also because that’s what love does. Then you work out the problems, you don’t run from them and you don’t repress them and hide them, you work through them and you grow by doing that. Nobody in this world except Christ was born perfect and stayed perfect but even if you had a perfect spouse, your imperfections would mess up your relationship; YOUR imperfections! And to work things out you must be willing to endure the bad with the good and love your way through the bad. Now apply that to God. He doesn’t have any imperfections; our relationship with Him is messed up by OUR imperfections. But He’s received us, our bad and our good. And He’s received us on the basis that our love for Him will let Him work through the bad and correct it. And God help us if we can’t understand the only possible way He can work through the bad is to talk to us about it. He has to show us what’s wrong. And we have to listen when He does and not run from Him and say it isn’t God. We must listen or we’ll never be able to know Him and we’ll never be able to be anything like Him. The only way He can conform us to Christ is to confront anything in us that’s not like Christ and expose it and cause us to repent of it. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1Jn3:2-3) We can only purify ourselves when we repent. We can only repent when we can see we’re not right. In other words, conviction is how God cleanses us. Conviction comes when we’re able to hear God’s “hard sayings” and receive them and be corrected by them. There’s no “church” and no “christian” who’ll ever make it to heaven while they are rejecting God’s convicting Word! These people around us who falsely call themselves “christians” and their wicked churches and their lying philosophies which they erroneously call “christianity” will not make it to heaven because they won’t listen to the God who speaks the “hard sayings.” They won’t listen to Job who says, “should we accept the good and shouldn’t we also accept adversity?” They won’t listen to Paul when he says, Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. (2Tim3:12) They won’t listen to Peter when he says, Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin. (1Pet4:1) They won’t listen to Jesus when He says, “And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.” (Matt10:38-39) They are idolaters creating an “image” of a false god in their imagination, a mental idol who says, “No, you don’t ever have to suffer!” They’ve made up an imaginary god who’ll never deal with their sins and never expose them and never make them feel conviction. And that’s the god who says, “Eat of the tree, you won’t die.” That’s the god who doesn’t just slander man to man but slanders God to man, then goes to God and slanders man to God. To your face he pretends to befriend you, but behind your back he mocks you and plots how he may cause God to destroy you for your wickedness. These Baptists, these Catholics, these false christians, they love satan. They love the liar, the trickster, the treacherous dealer who deals treacherously. (Is24:16) They love to be deceived and yet they claim to know Jesus. But they don’t know Him, they don’t know His Word, they don’t know His Spirit, they don’t know His ways. They know the serpent, they know the deceiver, they know lies and they love them. When Jesus warns before the end comes there will be severe difficulties which He calls the beginning of sorrows (Matt24:6-8), He’s giving the church “hard sayings.” He’s telling us, this is what you must go through before I come but don’t be dismayed (v6), lift up your heads, your redemption draws nigh. (Lk21:28) And in the book of Revelation, after Jesus shows John all the judgments that must take place before the end, how does John respond to these “hard sayings?” He responds as every true Christian should, “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!” (Rev22:20) “These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble.” (Jn16:1) Jesus’ “hard sayings” are grace to us that we should not stumble. “Even so, come, Lord Jesus!”
Prophecy: My children, I desire to share all My heart with you but that means you must hear all I have to say both the pleasant and that which is hard to bear. For it’s to your advantage that you know all things; both the things which are the blessings and the things which are the sufferings. These things I show you so you can be prepared and take hold of My grace and know My grace is abundant towards you so you may show forth My glory even in sufferings. I tell you, I showed many of the martyrs what was to come and they cried out for Me that I would give them the strength so that even in their death they could show forth My glory and they had a glorious life and a glorious death. But if they would not have received My Word to prepare, they wouldn’t have died in My glory. My children, be open to all I have for you. Be open to receive all My Word and all My ways. Don’t make judgments until I have shown you the things that are the proper evidences. And I tell you, that you must suffer and that is in My Word. But I also tell you, that My grace is sufficient to abundantly keep you that you may endure your sufferings in a glorious way, thus says the Lord.
Prophecy: My true children have been tormented and confused because when I’m in them and I’m manifesting, many who claim to be My people around them are completely contrary. Everything I try to do in My true people, those who falsely claim to be “christians” fight against. They slander, they argue, they resist and they bring up excuse after excuse. They even become vicious in their opposition and then they gather with others like themselves and sing songs of praise to Me and claim they are My people. But I tell you, I’ve known they are haters of God. I’ve seen what’s in their hearts; the selfishness, the deceit, the carnality and the wickedness and pride. I’ve known they’ll not hear Me, nor listen to My Word, nor learn of Me. They resist everything I try to do. And they’ve been a terrible vexation to My little ones, but no longer, saith the Lord. For no longer will they deceive My children into thinking, “I’m of God and I see this, but this one also is of God though he sees different,” causing confusion and weakening faith. But in this place I’ve unveiled the antichrist. I’ve ripped off his false face and his robes by which he tries to deceive. I’m showing My people who these false christians are so no longer will My people be confused because now they’ll know their enemy. And I tell you this, Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever does not cast out Jesus and He doesn’t argue with Himself or fight against Himself. And that which you know is Me in you, when it’s opposed by those who claim they are Mine, they aren’t Mine because I don’t oppose Myself! But those who oppose Me are the enemy, the adversary no matter what they claim or name themselves to be. Those who are Mine agree with Me! And those who disagree with Me aren’t Mine but they are of satan, saith the Lord!
Prophecy: My church, the sufferings I allow you to go through are all a part of my preparation for the bringing home of My children. As Christ suffered, He suffered for your salvation. And the things you suffer, you suffer that through your suffering others will abound in salvation. And as you overcome, for you are more than conquerors in My Spirit, saith the Lord, and as you overcome you’ll enter into the consolation I have for you that others may also enter into that consolation. I’m making you a praise in the earth, and this also works effectually toward the glorification of My bride. Receive what I have for you with humble hearts, knowing that your brethren in the world are going through the same sufferings you go through. And in all this, My children, have the mind of Christ, have My mind in you and be mature, saith the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)
