Fellowshipping With God

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 9//Issue 7

That which we have seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. (1Jn1:3)

Jesus loved Martha, (Jn11:5) Jesus also loved the rich young ruler. (Mk10:21) One of the projects our children have in association with their “homeschool” is raising pigeons. I’ve been shown to do some things in which there’s no lust or fleshly desire but where God is guiding me so I can learn something about His Kingdom. Raising pigeons is one of those things that also has benefited my boys in their “life” lessons.

In observing our pigeons we’ve seen they’re adversarial. The whole world, everything lies under this spirit. We know we’re of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one. (1Jn5:19) This means the pigeons are in competition with each other; they peck at each other, fight over food, chase each other around, try to dominate others and gain space for themselves. You’ll see this with everything in nature. Don’t tell me about the nobleness of nature. It’s not noble, it’s fallen. And the silly ecologists and hindus who try to make us think it’s all Eden in the wild are full of demonic delusions. The whole world, everything has been corrupted by the fall. But being a person who owns, breeds, feeds and observes my own flock of pigeons, I’m like God to them. So I get a perspective on what it’s like to be God. Their life is in my hand. I can free them if I want to. I can keep them if I want to. I feed them and pet them and all these things. It’s all in my power. I’d like to love every pigeon equally but there’s a catch – the pigeon who’s tame and eats from my hand is the one I can love the most. The pigeon who’s afraid and stays away is the one that’s loved the least. Because even though I’d like to love them equally I can’t give my affection to the ones who are distant. Only the ones who are tame and come near can receive the love. We’ve a few birds we can get pretty close to and those are the ones we like to be with. But suppose a pigeon in the back of the cage that had been afraid and flighty walked up and started eating out of my hand; what would happen? He’d become a pet too, wouldn’t he? See, the barrier isn’t in me, but it’s the attitude of the pigeon that’s the problem. Now what do you think the difference is between Martha and Mary? It isn’t that Jesus loves Mary more but that Mary is there to receive the love and Martha is too busy, troubled and distant so she’s cheating herself out of the affections she could be receiving from Jesus because of what’s in her. (Lk10:38-42) Then there’s the rich young ruler and Jesus would love him just like He loves John; let him rest his head on His breast. (Jn13:23) But because he loves his money the rich young ruler gets no benefit from the love of Christ. The lesson is, yes Jesus loves you but if you don’t become His friend by drawing near to Him to truly have fellowship with Him you cheat yourself out of what He could do for you and the affection He’d like to give to you. The one who’ll taste of His love is the one whose heart is open, who trusts Him, who draws near to Him and shows Him “I love You and want to be with You.” That’s the one Jesus will express His love to; whereas the ones who are more distant Jesus would love them if they’d draw near but He can’t express His love because of their lack of affection towards Him.

But every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonors her head, for that’s one and the same as if her head were shaved. For this reason the woman ought to have a symbol of authority on her head, because of the angels. (1Cor11:5,10) When a woman puts her covering on she’s demonstrating and reminding herself that she’s under her husband’s authority. But I want you to know that the head of every man is Christ, the head of every woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. (1Cor11:3) The reason Paul says a woman shouldn’t pray or prophesy uncovered is she’s not allowed to ignore the authority of her husband and go to God in defiance of or disrespect to him. It’s like the chain of command in the military. You go to the Captain by first going to the Sergeant because if the Captain lets you ignore the Sergeant he’s undermining the Sergeant’s authority, and the Sergeant’s authority is necessary to the proper function of the military! So also authorities are given for the edification of the church and a wife can’t be allowed to disobey her husband’s authority and go to God independent of her husband, as though she could ignore her husband’s will and yet ask God to do her will in opposition to her husband! The covering shows even when the wife goes to God she still accepts and respects the authority of her husband. As if to say, “God I recognize my husband’s authority and I’m not ignoring him when I come to you. I’m only asking You to give me help that’s not contrary to my submission to my husband’s lawful authority.” If a woman despises the authority of her husband, she may as well rip the covering off her head or be shorn bald; she’s not covered even if she wears the covering, unless she’s submissive to her husband. (1Cor11:6) An uncovered woman has no right to pray or prophesy or participate in God’s church because she’s despised the authority God’s given her husband for her edification and protection. This doesn’t mean a covered woman can’t pray for her husband to have wisdom or grace to do right. A husband is an “authority” and the saints are to pray thankfully for all authorities that we may have peaceable lives. (1Tim2:1-2) Now I praise you, brethren, that you remember me in all things and keep the traditions just as I delivered them to you. (1Cor11:2) So there’s a reason for the covering. Don’t forget it ladies because if you behave like an uncovered woman it will damage your fellowship with God and the brethren.

“I’ll dwell in them and walk among them. I’ll be their God, and they’ll be My people. Therefore come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Don’t touch what’s unclean, and I’ll receive you. I’ll be a Father to you, and you’ll be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. (2Cor6:16-18) That which we’ve seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. And these things we write to you that your joy may be full. (1Jn1:3,4) He who has My commandments and keeps them, it’s he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I’ll love him and manifest Myself to him. If anyone loves Me, he’ll keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We’ll come to him and make Our home with him. (Jn14:21,23) If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you’ll ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. If you keep My commandments, you’ll abide in My love, just as I’ve kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. (Jn15:7,10) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You’ve sent. (Jn17:3) I don’t pray for these alone, but also for those who’ll believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me. And the glory which You gave Me I’ve given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one. (Jn17:20-23) At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. But the Lord stood with me(2Tim4:16,17) And He who sent Me is with Me. The Father hasn’t left Me alone, for I always do those things that please Him. (Jn8:29) And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?” So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.” (Gen3:8-10)

When God created man He desired to have fellowship with him. But sin damaged that fellowship. The damage sin did was it caused the attitude of  man to change towards God. In other words, the problem is on man’s side. O Corinthians! We’ve spoken openly to you, our heart is wide open. You aren’t restricted by us, but you’re restricted by your own affections. (2Cor6:11,12) The problem Paul’s having with the Corinthians is caused by their attitude not his. They’re constrained because of their suspicious feelings towards Paul. The scriptures show there were severe problems in the Corinthian church. Do you think we excuse ourselves to you? We speak before God in Christ. For I fear lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I wish, and that I shall be found by you such as you don’t wish; lest there be contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, backbitings, whisperings, conceits, tumults; lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and I shall mourn for many who’ve sinned before and haven’t repented of the uncleanness, fornication, and lewdness which they’ve practiced. (2Cor12:19-21) Many in the Corinthian church were in such shape that if Paul came he’d have to chasten them. Such people wouldn’t want to fellowship with him. Because the Corinthian church was infested with sinners they couldn’t have the kind of fellowship they should have had with the Apostle. And that’s the very problem mankind has with God. It’s because of man’s sin that men fear having fellowship with God. So to win people over God must do many things to work in people’s lives to cause them to trust Him. As men we must realize the problem in our relationship with God lies in us, and we must make the effort to overcome the things in us that separate us from God. So throughout the scriptures there are numerous admonishments as to how we should think and behave if we want to have fellowship with God. God wants to fellowship with you but you must want to be with Him enough to do the things necessary so God can fellowship with you.

Can two walk together, unless they’re agreed? (Am3:3) God is righteous, He is holy, and He can’t fellowship with sin, so to draw near to God you must come in agreement with His righteousness. I told you the pigeon that’s most friendly is the one we’re most likely to respond to. But if that friendly one is a bully and he’s giving the other birds a hard time, we’d have a different opinion of him. In fact, we had a pigeon that was quite friendly to me who was nearly killing the chicks of the other pigeons and bullying them terribly, so I had to put him down. Yet regarding our pet pigeons, there’s one with a broken wing that came to my yard and began to eat out of my hand when it was still wild. He seemed to know that on his own he couldn’t survive and virtually begged to be captured. Since then he’s healed nicely and could fly away, but even if we let him free he won’t leave. He’s made a permanent home with us. We’ve another who’s blind in one eye. That makes him very susceptible to predators. For a while we put him in a cage with several other birds but he couldn’t defend himself against the others. He had to back against the wall with his bad eye so he could see what was going on but he wasn’t able to feed well that way. So I gave him a cage of his own, with a mate. Now he and his mate are doing very well and have been good breeders, raising many chicks in their private condo. We have another bird whose beak is broken and he can’t pick up food from the ground. But if we give him a cup of seed he can take a mouthful. So in the wild he can’t survive, but because of the way we feed him he does well with us. Now what do you think about God? Does God give special treatment to people with special needs? Of course He does! Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world. (Jms1:27) Why? Because God feels for people who need extra grace. Sin has caused it to be a rough life for most people down here and God knows it. And those people who have been damaged in ways that cause life to be even more difficult for them, God’s heart and hand reaches out to them.

To draw close to God, you must think like God; you need His heart and mind in you. When you recognize people who need extra help, help them, especially if you see someone’s had some sort of unfair strike against them and they’re not able to handle things the way normal people can. People who can take care of themselves don’t need as much of God do they? But the poor God has chosen to be rich in faith. (Jms2:5) The truly poor have a greater need for God. In America however we live in a welfare state. Many “poor people” eat better than I do. We have to judge who’s really needy, not by what the government or society says, but according to the actual situation. A broken winged pigeon is a real situation as far as the pigeon is concerned. And when you see the human equivalent, it’s a place where there isn’t any help coming from the government or relatives; it’s a situation where somebody’s fallen through a crack. It’s when you can see if you don’t take care of them no one will, then you have to exercise real faith. Saying, “Be warmed and filled” isn’t sufficient. Real faith will get involved and do something that really helps. What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but doesn’t have works? Can faith save him? If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you don’t give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? Thus also faith by itself, if it doesn’t have works, is dead. (Jms2:14-17) This is why we started the Isaiah house and why you see brother Dave bringing new brethren into his own home. We know it’s a difficult thing for people to move long distances to become part of a real church like “My Father’s House.” But God is opening up ways so they can do it; so it won’t be a terrible struggle for them. Through the true brethren here God is able to help new members get established in jobs etc., because God cares and He wants to have fellowship with His people. Now how much faith do you have that God truly desires to have fellowship with you? And if you believe He does then what steps of faith are you taking to draw near to Him? (Jms4:8) All God’s asking is you should behave in such a way as He can fellowship with you in righteousness; that you aren’t behaving wickedly because He can’t fellowship with sin. He’s asking you to see things the way He sees them and feel the way He feels about them so that fellowshipping with you isn’t an argument. Fellowshipping with you should be a pleasure for God because you’re able to receive anything He shares with you.

So what does fellowship really mean? Is it possible to have fellowship without having communication? Do you know the word “communion” actually means fellowship; communication and communion are from the same root? Fellowshipping with God isn’t an imaginary thing. The Spirit of God is real and perceptible, so if you have the Spirit you’ll know it. John said, “By this we know we abide in Him because we have His Spirit.” (1Jn4:13) We know we have His Spirit because a communication’s going on; a fellowshipping with God. Communication isn’t always words, but it always conveys some kind of an understanding. God can show us things through pictures, and enlightenments in the mind that aren’t words but which we have to express in words in order to share with someone else. Words are representative of things but they aren’t the actual things. God doesn’t have to use words; He can use actual realities rather than mere symbols to communicate. And even when He does use words, His “words” are powerful and alive. (Heb4:12) They’re more than mere symbols like human language. His “Word” is creative! So the light and the truths that come from God don’t always come in the limited ways we may think of as human communication. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then in a flash God can give you a vision that would take ten thousand “words” to explain. He communicates by showing us things and enlightening our minds to understand. Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” (Jn5:19) Showing can be much more effective than telling. Many times God opens our understanding of the scriptures just by unveiling a word, as in, “Wow! I never saw the real meaning of that word before!” We know we abide in Him because we have His Spirit. And we know we have His Spirit because the Spirit shows us things ordinary people don’t see.

Paul says, From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. (Gal 6:17) Paul is warning those who’d try to weary him or turn him away from Christ; “You’ll only waste your efforts. You can’t separate me from my Lord. People stronger and wiser than you have tried and failed so who do you think you are that you might succeed?” There are many false christians among the volunteers in the prisons. Every time a new one comes in and notices the division between us true Christians and the heretical Baptists, Catholics, etc., he thinks he can fix the problem and bring us into unity. (See our Glory of His Grace book Many Antichrists.) With his infantile understanding of the scriptures and his “human” love and “niceness” he’ll show us our error and straighten everything out. Each one is like an identical fish in a school of a thousand – saying and doing exactly what the last one did – because they don’t have the Spirit. They operate from human wisdom, pride, and presumption, thinking more highly of themselves than they ought – thinking they know God and can show God’s ways to others. But all they are is a carbon copy of the last presumptuous fool who knows nothing yet as he ought to know and sees nothing new or original or godly because his religion comes from men and he doesn’t have the Spirit. So he can’t understand his own error let alone someone else’s. – And why do you look at the speck in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the plank in your own? Or how can you say to your brother, “Let me remove the speck from your eye” and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck out of your brother’s eye. (Mt7:3-5) We aren’t in error. We’re obeying God in separating from heretics. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. (2Jn10,11) So in reality these “do gooders” have no idea what’s really going on and hundreds before them have tried the same things and accomplished nothing because they’re without God, being not in the Spirit! So this is just another adding his name to the list. From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus. (Gal 6:17) I’ve stood the test. I’ve been pierced for Christ. (Ex21:6) I belong to Him. And neither you nor any of your heretic friends will take me from Him. But each one comes in here thinking he’s God’s emissary on earth, and knows just what to do. The false christians think we’re to have unity with everyone, but God says “reject a heretic after the first and second admonition.” (Tit3:10) The Catholic heresies such as the worship of Mary and the Baptist’s heresies of “Once Saved/Always Saved” are well known and abominable to true Christians. (See our Glory of His Grace book What The Bible Says About Once Saved/Always Saved.) Blind fools and proud! In nature, I’ve learned you can successfully hunt and trap certain animals over and over because they’re completely predictable and always act the same way under the same conditions. Human beings without the Spirit are also like that. Each one acts the same way when they’re in similar circumstances, so you can totally predict their actions. If you put that new Baptist in the same situation as the previous one, he’ll do the same things in the same way. But the Bible says concerning a Spiritual man you never know what he’ll do. “You don’t know where he’s coming from and you don’t know where he’s going.” (Jn3:8) So the devil can’t “catch” the Spiritual man – he can’t use the same traps that are so dependable in dealing with ignorant natural men and false christians. It doesn’t work on the Spiritual because they’re led by God not by human wisdom. And it’s never the same thing over and over when somebody’s in the Spirit; the Spirit of God always does something new, surprising and different. The Holy Spirit sees the traps carnal men can’t and He guides the Spirit led man to avoid them. The Holy Spirit is always original in His ways because He works to humble men; showing us how little we know; keeping us out of pride and in a place where we must be dependent upon Him.

Much of what we see in the scriptures concerning God’s fellowshipping with man pertains to that. He wants to lead us in such a way that we won’t fall into the snares of the devil. He wants to enjoy communing with us and ultimately He will have a people who’ll fellowship with Him through eternity. And we’ll have a perfect communion with Him and delight ourselves completely in Him. The purpose God originally intended in creating man, He’ll bring to rich fulfillment. He’ll accomplish the good pleasure of His will. (Eph1:5) The problems that have interfered with that; these things that came about because of the devil and sin will be dealt with and they’ll be done away with. And we have an important part in that if we’re the true brethren. As His church and His people, we have a rich participation in God’s dealing with and doing away with the problems between God and man. Of course Jesus is the one who’s done the great foundational work concerning restoring men to fellowship with God. But this still has to be put into effect in men’s lives. And that comes down to you personally being willing to pay the price to have fellowship with God. It means you must stop fellowshipping with unclean things. Stop fellowshipping with the world. Stop fellowshipping with anything God can’t associate with because of His goodness, righteousness, holiness, etc. Don’t be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has an unbeliever with a believer? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I’ll dwell in them and walk among them. I’ll be their God, and they’ll be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Don’t touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I’ll be a Father to you, and you’ll be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. Therefore, having these promises, beloved, let’s cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. (2Cor6:14-7:1)

So how far will God go to help us have fellowship with Him? He went to the cross. That’s how far! The greatest purpose of the cross was to restore fellowship between God and His people. If God went that far to repair the foundations for His fellowshipping with men, how far will He go with you personally to have fellowship with you? Can you see how much God wants to have fellowship with you personally? And can you see what things in your life are preventing you from having a perfect communion with Him? If you’re not experiencing a rich and intimate fellowship with God and Christ, you must know it isn’t God that’s the problem; it’s you. If you’re not having the blessed communion with God that you ought to, it’s because there’s something you’re not doing right; you’re not thinking right about. The scriptures say, “Pray without ceasing.” (1Th5:17) Are you getting so wrapped in things you can see that you forget about the presence of the unseen One? Or are you purposing in your heart to remember and be aware at all times that you can have the presence of Christ with you as much as you’re willing to have faith for Him to be there? How seriously are you pursuing that faith for Him to abide with you all the time? To pray without ceasing you must be consciously desiring His presence at all times. You must depend upon Him constantly. What’s the benefit of having fellowship with God? If you’re really having fellowship with Him, there’s a rich communion going on. Fellowship is always rooted in communication, or in an intimacy that transcends communication. Sometimes we may have quiet fellowship with someone we love and just know we can enjoy each other’s presence without having to talk all the time. But because we really love each other, we also know that when we need to communicate we can. True fellowship always maintains communication; the door of communication is open if there’s real love. If you have such a relationship with God that His presence is always with you then you always have access to the hearing of faith. (Gal 3:2) This means you also have access to His wisdom, His power and His leading. And whatever problems you have, you’ll find the solutions in Christ.

Beloved, if our heart doesn’t condemn us, we have confidence toward God. And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He’s given us. (1Jn3:21,22,24) Erroneous religion sometimes teaches people to think having access to God means they can tell God what to do about their problems. Such “believers” make themselves lord and treat God as their servant. Recently Mrs. J. shared she thought she had a problem with her husband until God showed her the real problem was with herself. She was telling God how to solve her problem and getting nowhere until God showed her the true problem. And that required her to humble herself, and repent and obey God telling her what to do. When you play “Lord” and tell God what to do that isn’t fellowshipping. When you make Him Lord and come to Him in humility to seek His wisdom and help – that’s a good start towards truly fellowshipping with Him. Telling God what to do isn’t fellowshipping because that’s a one-way communication! When you’re in a one-way communication and you’re wrong, God can’t do anything for you. For God to help you, you must be listening to Him. True fellowship with God is a two-way communication and because you’re able to “hear” Him, you have access to His wisdom.

“Wisdom is the principal (first) thing.” (Pr4:7) Seeking the wisdom of God is often the best way to approach God. It takes wisdom to make proper decisions in life, but whatever your problem, God has an answer and His wisdom can show you what to do. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. (Jms1:5) The proud think they have all the answers and they don’t need God. As the meek, we don’t trust our own wisdom but we look to God to show us His answer and His wisdom concerning every situation. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Heb4:16) Only in the wisdom of God can we rightly discern what the real problems are; and what we need to do about them. And even if the cause is with us if we really love God and truly desire to have fellowship with Him we’ll accept His correction. If you’re humble God can show you, “You’re the one who was wrong here,” so you can repent and seek the Lord’s help to change whatever’s needed. Sometimes just knowing what’s wrong doesn’t fix the problem because something still must be done to rectify the situation. Suppose someone you’re acquainted with, or even a family member misunderstands you and has been poisoned against you in a wrong perception. Perhaps you’ve tried but you can’t talk them out of it. It’s like satan has taken control of them. So what do you do? What I do is pray, “Lord, please straighten this out for me.” Then I watch Jesus go to work and often He’ll work through the whole church body; people who have no idea what’s going on in their own understanding will get involved. They’re moved by Christ’s Spirit to say things or do things to change the deceived person’s misperceptions. God can straighten out any problem. God has extraordinary resources to accomplish these things when you trust Him and realize how helpless you are on your own. (2Cor12:9,10) It’s when you’re totally helpless and all you can say is, “Lord, I don’t know anything I can do about this, but I’m trusting in Your mercy,” that’s when His strength can take over and you’ll see things fulfill the scripture that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened to see What are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. (Eph1:18) It’s awesome to ask God for help and then watch the Holy Spirit move on a dozen or more brethren who’ve no natural knowledge of your situation yet every one of them contributes something to the solution of your problem! God has an extraordinary ability to heal and rectify relationships through His obedient people. He is Lord of lords and He is King of kings, and He’s able to subdue all things unto Himself. (Phil 3:21) I’m blessed to have fellowship with a God like that. I’m blessed to be able to talk to Him. I’m blessed in that I can bring Him my problems and ask Him what to do about them and know that my Lord can share His wisdom with me and give me an answer of peace. If I need to do something He’ll show me what to do. And if I can’t do anything He can do what I can’t do.

Now, how much true fellowship do you have with God? And how much should you be having? Our example is seen in Jesus’ complete communion with His Father. And the scriptures tell us we’re to be conformed to the image of Christ. So what we must attain to is a continual communion with God and Christ at all times. Everything we do, every thought we think should be in Christ, that we can acknowledge and be aware of His presence in everything. God wants to have such fellowship with us and it’s like we’re His pigeons and He’s trying to tame us. He feeds us, He protects us, yet so often so many still don’t get tamed. And this is the strange thing, it seems like the easy one to tame is the one with the broken wing. The easy one to tame is the one with the missing eye because that one needs real help and he knows it. “Well Lord, if that’s what it takes to make me a real Christian, if I need to be broken or maimed then so be it.” The point is, we need to have fellowship with God. And we should want to have as much and as deep and as rich a fellowship as it’s possible for a human to have with the Lord.

Everything in the scriptures is calling us towards that fellowship. And if there’s anything we’re lacking in understanding or anything we don’t know, God does know. And I know if I’m serious about this and I ask Him to show me what I lack, He’ll give me all the help I need because concerning this fellowship, God wants it even more than I do. He’s purposed this from the foundations of the earth and He won’t disappoint us. Ultimately fellowship with God will lead to the power ministries. But it’s His heart we want to know first not His power, because His power flows from His heart. So we want to see miracles that are expressions of God’s love because the flow of His power is connected to the flow of His love. It’s getting into a real communion with God that matters because even if we see miracles but still don’t know His presence and we’re doing things without really having fellowship with Him, then those miracles won’t be fruit to our benefit. Not everyone who says to me “Lord, Lord” shall enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in your name?” And then I’ll declare unto them, “I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!” (Mt7:21-23) I want to live by such a faith that every time I do something I know God is with me in it and I’m doing it because it’s of God. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I’ve suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. (Phil 3:8-11) I want Jesus to enjoy being with me, so I let Him know that I appreciate Him being with me because I really do. It’s no fun being with somebody who doesn’t appreciate you. If they don’t appreciate you, you don’t want to be with them. That’s the way it is with God too. You appreciate Him and He’ll enjoy fellowshipping with you. That which we’ve seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. (1Jn1:3) And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you’ve sent. (Jn17:3)

Prophecy: When I put Adam into the garden and gave him dominion over the creatures, I did it with the purpose that he’d get a perspective of what it’s like to be as God. And as he was like God to the creatures he could see what he expected from them and how he cared for them and how he felt towards them. Then he could understand how I care for him and how I feel towards him and what I expect of him in his relationship with Me. That was My purpose. Now, I’m asking you to understand what it’s like to be God; to understand the mercies and the graces that you have towards those you love or are responsible for and how you care for your family and your loved ones. Then consider that’s how I want to care for you. If you look at what you’d expect of the ones you love and how you’d want them to relate to you, you’ll see how I want you to relate to Me. I’ve given you an understanding so you can see what it’s like with Me and how you should behave towards Me and I’ve done this so we can have fellowship, real fellowship, saith the Lord.
