The Doctrine According To Godliness/The Living Oracles By Pastor Bill Taylor A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 9/Issue 16 Prophecy: My people, I rejoice that you’ve been hearing My voice and obeying the things I’ve called you to. But now you must continue in what you’ve started. For I tell you My glory bells are ringing and My glory is on it’s way. And My glory is coming because My people are praying, they’re truly getting into My Spirit and they know what they’re praying for. I’m bringing forth in My church a true Spiritual body of saints who know My ways. And you’ll see My glory here and you’ll see My power here and you’ll see My gifts and My goodness here, saith the Lord. But you must continue, even increasingly in what you’ve begun. Don’t be like this wicked generation around you, who may seem to do good for a while but then quickly return to their old ways. Those who’ll see My glory are those who are truly conformed to the death of Christ, who have crucified their flesh and who’ll continue to the end in the sufferings of Christ that Christ’s life may manifest in them. These are My people who are partakers of My resurrection life and who yearn to see My glory. These are My people, who are truly My church. I’ve called “My Father’s House” to be My church to bring My glory mightily into the earth. And only those can be a true member of “My Father’s House” who are truly conformed to Christ and who allow Me to live in them in every way, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at "My Father's House") If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, he is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. (1Tim6:3-5) False christians like the Baptists believe that we at “My Father’s House” are wicked because of our ideology. They think if you believe and preach some things, God likes you and if you believe and preach other things, God doesn’t like you, and these things have nothing to do with behavior. They mistakenly consider what you “believe” to be “faith,” but what you “do,” as in behavior, to be “works.” Thus they show themselves to be “blind leaders of the blind” for they can't see the very obvious relationship between doctrine and behavior. For example, many Baptists lament the Laodicean complacency of their “brethren” while these very Baptists who complain about the “lukewarmness” continue to preach “once saved/ always saved,” a doctrine that leads people into complacency. If “believers” are assured of their salvation and can't lose it no matter what they do, why should they serve God zealously? So by preaching “error” these foolish Baptists create the very problems they lament, because in their blindness they can't see “cause and effect.” What they preach and cause their people to believe is the very thing that gives rise to the ungodly behavior in their churches. Truly they’re among the most ignorant and foolish of people – as Christ has said, “If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into the ditch.” (Matt15:14) So Baptists foolishly believe God likes you according to what you say and what you think and what you believe, but not according to what you do. Whereas, the Scriptures teach us God rewards according to your works, Who will render to each one according to his deeds. (Rom2:6) And He punishes you according to what you do. But to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness-- indignation and wrath. (Rom2:8) The truth is doctrine is important because it affects behavior, and can’t be considered good or evil apart from the behavior it excites. So even as a good tree produces good fruit a good doctrine produces good behavior. This is what Scripture calls sound doctrine. (Tit2:1) or the doctrine according to godliness. (1Tim6:3) What religion calls “doctrine” the world calls “ideology.” So doctrine or ideology is important because it affects behavior. Some ideologies are extraordinarily dangerous, the ideology of the Nazis, for example, who believe Aryans are a chosen race superior to all others and destined to replace all others. Thus Nazis think they’re doing the will of God when they murder members of other races. So their doctrine makes murderers out of them. (Jn16:2) Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1Jn3:15) The ideology of the communists includes believing the end justifies the means so they think it doesn’t matter how many people they hurt or kill in the effort to accomplish what will be a good purpose in the end. Of course the Bible teaches you’ll reap what you sow, so those who do evil can never attain to a good end since doing evil causes them to reap evil in the end. Still the communists think if they can confiscate all private property and destroy all the “evil” property owners they can create a perfect society on earth. This is a false ideology but because it’s believed, it turns them into thieves and murderers. If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness, Such a person is: proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. (1Tim6:3-5) The doctrine that accords with godliness is the doctrine which comes from Jesus and produces godly behavior. Doctrine is important, because if it’s sound doctrine, it will cause you to behave in a way God can bless. But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly…(Ps4:3) The one who’s godly behaves in a manner pleasing to God. For this cause everyone who is godly shall pray to You in a time when You may be found; surely in a flood of great waters they shall not come near him. (Ps32:6) The godly will be protected by God. Salvation then is found in godliness. For our boasting is this: the testimony of our conscience that we conducted ourselves in the world in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, and more abundantly toward you. (2Cor1:12) It’s only by God’s grace we can live godly! For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy…(2Cor11:2) What do you think godly jealousy is? Watching over you to save your soul, to protect you. Guarding and laboring to keep you in the Kingdom of God for eternity. Nor give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which cause disputes rather than godly edification which is in faith. (1Tim1:4) Our conversations as brethren aren’t to be causing arguments, but to be encouraging and building up faith in Christ and for Him to live in us. Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. (1Tim2:1-2) We are to pray for an environment in which we can live godly Christ-like lives. But reject profane and old wives' fables, and exercise yourself toward godliness. (1Tim4:7) Exercise yourself toward godly behavior; the behavior that comes from Jesus. Stay away from foolish “ideologies.” …godliness is profitable for all things… (1Tim4:8) Godly behavior is profitable for all things. Now godliness with contentment is great gain. (1Tim6:6) It’s enough that God gives you the grace to live in a way acceptable to Him, what more do you need than that? Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution. (2Tim3:12) Since there’s an enemy to God in this world there’ll be oppositions to godliness. You must be ready to face and overcome persecutions if you truly desire to live godly. Paul, a bondservant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect and the acknowledgment of the truth which accords with godliness… (Tit1:1) You don’t have a true saving faith unless you believe the doctrine which requires God’s people to behave with godliness like Jesus. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. (Tit2:11-12) Again, this is about behavior; saving grace leads to godly behavior. Therefore, since we are receiving a Kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. (Heb12:28) …as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness… (2Pe1:3) So, both God’s power and His grace are given to help us live a godly life. As Paul says, “I am what I am by the grace of God.” (1Cor15:10) Add to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance, godliness. (2Pe1:6) The Lord knows how to deliver the godly out of temptations and to reserve the unjust under punishment for the day of judgment. (2Pe2:9) And finally, Therefore, since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness. (2Pe3:11) When people mistake ideology for righteousness, they’re looking at the tree instead of the fruit. The Baptists, for example, have presumptuously decided they have a good tree and their ideology is righteous and pleasing to God. Therefore, anybody who disagrees with their doctrine must be wicked. This is what the Pharisees believed in Jesus’ day too. Jesus often warned the doctrine of the Pharisees didn’t produce a behavior acceptable to God. “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of heaven.” (Matt5:20) ‘And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ (Mk7:7) Jesus began to say to His disciples first of all, “Beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.” (Lk12:1) “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith. These you ought to have done, without leaving the others undone.” (Matt23:23) The doctrine of the Baptists doesn’t produce godliness in their behavior either. In fact, it has the opposite effect. People who think they can sin and not lose their salvation will sin even more because of that belief. And if they think it’s impossible to be “blameless” or “perfected in Christ” they won't even try. Yet Jesus requires believers to be blameless before He appears. Therefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him in peace, without spot and blameless. (2Pe3:14) Be found by Him before He appears, not after. Now may the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Thes5:23) God’s Word requires believers to be blameless at Christ’s appearing and to be perfected before that day. Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. (Col 1:28) So the Baptist-type “churches” who teach people they can’t be perfected are damning their people since not believing in perfection, they’ll not be acceptable to Christ at His appearing. Like the foolish virgins, they’ll be locked out, rejected because Christ doesn’t know them. (Matt25:1-13) What kind of “church” teaches people to be damned? Antichrist churches! The Baptists are antichrist – they work for the devil to damn souls instead of preparing them to meet the Lord. And it’s through bad doctrine they do this. So they’re a bad tree because they produce bad fruit. It’s the same thing in Catholic churches and in most denominational churches. All false “churches” believe an ideology or a doctrine by which they think they’re “saved” when that doctrine doesn’t cause them to behave in a godly way so as to really be saved. They think they’re saved by what they believe when what they believe doesn’t properly affect what they do. That’s a terrible mistake. You can see from what God says sound doctrine is about, that it’s all about behavior. The doctrine that accords with godly behavior or the truth that accords with godly behavior is what the gospel is about. It’s about changing your behavior by believing God’s truth about Christ living in you so God can reward you because your behavior is good and Christ-like instead of bad. And this blessing comes to you because the doctrine you believe causes you to see both the need to behave rightly and how to behave rightly by crucifying the flesh so Christ can live His righteous life in you. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Gal 2:20) So every leader in Christ’s true church must, hold fast the faithful word as he has been taught, that he may be able, by sound doctrine, both to exhort and convict those who contradict. (Tit1:9) Which is exactly what I’m doing right now! And he must, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: (Tit2:1) Because sound doctrine leads to godly behavior. That the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things--that they admonish the young women to love their husbands…(Tit2:2-4) All of these things pertain to godly behavior. Sound doctrine produces the kind of behavior God can bless. Therefore, doctrine is good or sound only if it produces godly behavior. What’s happened with the Baptist-type false church is they’ve decided doctrine is important in and of itself apart from behavior. They’ve completely rejected the truth that for doctrine to be good it must produce good behavior. The Baptists believe their doctrine is what saves them if they have “faith” in it. And they believe God has forgiven their sins, even though they are still sinners and their “faith” doesn’t change their behavior. Because they think their doctrine saves them, anyone who disagrees with their doctrine must be of the devil, so they often persecute us and say we’re wicked because we stand for God’s truth which disagrees with their doctrine. And the ways they persecute us are often very mean and ungodly. They fulfill the Scriptures, “Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.” (Matt23:34-35) “Remember the word that I said to you, 'A servant is not greater than his master.' If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you for My name's sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me.” (Jn15:20-21) By their “meanness” they prove they’re not saved. Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1Jn3:15) Their wicked behavior also proves their tree is bad, their doctrine is bad because the fruit it produces is bad. (See our previous Glory of His Grace publication “When Jews Work With Gentiles” for more on this.) The doctrine God has given at “My Father’s House” produces godly behavior in people who believe it. It would be a blessing if the world, the secular authorities, and even prison correctional officers could wake up to this. Doctrines that produce good behavior are from the good tree. The doctrine of the Baptist-types does not produce good behavior so it’s from a bad tree. When someone believes in the wicked Baptist doctrine it makes him feel like it doesn’t matter how he behaves. He can't lose his salvation no matter what he does so he can sin with impunity. Therefore, he has no incentive to be holy or behave right or treat people well because according to the Baptists, he’s forgiven for everything he’s ever going to do even before he does it. What kind of doctrine is that? And Baptists call us “wicked” because we disagree with that doctrine? Does God hate me because I disagree with that doctrine? Let me tell you something, God hates that doctrine. He hates “Baptist” doctrine because their doctrine produces ungodly behavior. Baptist doctrine is a bad tree and you can tell by the fruit of the behavior such doctrine produces that it’s a bad tree! For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Heb10:26-27) The Baptists have totally misunderstood why doctrine is important to God. It’s important because good doctrine produces good behavior. But they’ve thrown good behavior away calling it “works” and believe they are saved by “doctrine” apart from behavior. Now, it’s obvious to anybody who looks at it that the Baptist’s tree is not producing good fruit or good behavior. “And even now the ax is laid to the root of the trees. Therefore every tree which does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.” (Lk3:9) That’s why God is cutting their tree down even now! If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness…(1Tim6:3) The Baptists teach otherwise. They don’t consent to wholesome words. What are some of the wholesome words Jesus has said which they don’t consent to? “Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Matt5:48) Jesus believes in perfection. These are Jesus’ wholesome words which Baptists vehemently reject. They say no one can be perfect. “For I say to you, that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the Kingdom of heaven.” (Matt5:20) Jesus believes in righteous behavior. “But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.” (Matt5:28-29) This isn't “imputed” righteousness as though if you just believe in Jesus you’ll be counted righteous no matter how you behave. Jesus requires believers to “stop sinning” if they are to attain to the righteousness that exceeds the Scribes and Pharisees. If they don’t stop sinning they will go to hell not heaven. “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and mammon.” (Matt6:24) Jesus believes in total dedication to God and being separated from any worldliness. “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matt7:13-14) Jesus believes Christianity isn’t “easy.” “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thornbushes or figs from thistles?” (Matt7:15-16) Jesus believes in “judging” fruit. And again, “If your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you…” (Matt5:30) That’s the doctrine that accords with godliness. If your hand is causing you to sin, you’re better off without it so you can enter into the Kingdom of heaven because you’ve been behaving godly rather than to keep your hand and go to hell because your hand is making you behave in an ungodly way. This is certainly a very clear doctrine that accords with godliness. On this alone we can preach perfection and know for a certainty you must get rid of anything that isn't right in you if you want to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. But what does a Baptist say about that? “I can't lose my salvation. Once I’m saved I’m always saved, so why should I cut my hand off?” There’s a terrible contradiction between what Jesus says and what the Baptists are saying isn't there? If anyone teaches otherwise and does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which accords with godliness (1Tim6:3) Such scriptures describe the Baptists perfectly. They teach otherwise and don’t consent to the wholesome words of Christ! So, He is proud, knowing nothing, but is obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth, who suppose that godliness is a means of gain. From such withdraw yourself. (1Tim6:4-5) They are proud, so proud of their doctors of divinity and their numbers and their buildings. They think Christianity is all wrapped up in that kind of stuff. And they know nothing, obviously, To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light in them. (Is8:20) If they think they can be “once saved/always saved” when Jesus says cut your hand off if it causes you to sin, they don’t know anything, there’s no light in them! They are obsessed with disputes and arguments. Over and over when we encounter them, they want to argue. “Are you perfect? Do you think you’re perfect?” It doesn’t matter if I’m perfect. What matters is what Jesus says. If Jesus says only the perfect will enter the Kingdom of heaven, and I’m not perfect, then I won't get in. But that doesn’t change the truth that Jesus says only the perfect will be “saved.” So the issue isn’t whether I’m perfect. The issue is whether you’ll get into heaven or not. What does Jesus say the standard is? If the standard is perfection, what’s it matter to you whether I’m perfect? If I miss out does that excuse you from meeting the standard? Obsessed with disputes and arguments over words, from which come envy, strife, reviling, evil suspicions, useless wranglings of men of corrupt minds and destitute of the truth. Their arguments are useless, their minds are corrupt and they don’t have the truth. They suppose that godliness is a means of gain. Jesus says a true believer has to lose his life to save it. Baptists aren’t interested in losing anything. From such withdraw yourself. So, here you have all the proof you need to know why not to fellowship with Baptists or Catholics or anyone who does not consent to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ and the doctrine that accord with godliness. Any kind of “christianity” that isn't teaching you to behave in a manner that’s consistent with godliness, will not save your soul! God commands you withdraw from them. Do not be deceived: “Evil company corrupts good habits.” Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. (1Cor15:33-34) That’s what the Bible says. That’s how important sound doctrine is to God. Why? Because the only kind of doctrine that will save you is the doctrine that changes your behavior and makes it godly. And these so-called christians who believe their doctrine makes them righteous when their behavior is unrighteous are insane. The days of punishment have come; the days of recompense have come. Israel knows! The prophet is a fool, the spiritual man is insane, because of the greatness of your iniquity and great enmity. (Hos9:7) Truly the hearts of the sons of men are full of evil. Madness is in their hearts! (Ecc9:3) These false christians and Baptists are totally bewitched. They judge us as being wicked because our doctrine disagrees with their doctrine when our behavior is righteous and theirs is abominable. What a demented people! Even the police and the corrections officers ought to be able to see their foolishness. They can look at the Glory of His Grace people and say, “What do you mean, they’re bad? They’re the best-behaved inmates in the prison. It’s Baptists and Catholics who are always making trouble. What kind of a faith do these Baptist “christians” have that makes them trouble makers?” They’re just like the Jews in the days of Peter and Paul. They were always stirring up trouble every place they went. Who killed both the Lord Jesus and their own prophets, and have persecuted us; and they do not please God and are contrary to all men, forbidding us to speak to the Gentiles that they may be saved, so as always to fill up the measure of their sins; but wrath has come upon them to the uttermost. (1Thes2:15-16) The Christians weren’t causing trouble. How can the secular authorities be so blind to not see this? This is one reason Paul tells us to pray for the authorities. (1Tim2:1-2) Pray the authorities will see through the wickedness of these Jews of today, these Baptist “Jews” that run around stirring up trouble for the Spiritual Christians. Pray the corrections officers see through the wickedness of these ideological false “christians” who think righteousness is found in the words they believe instead of the actions they do. True Christianity is found in action and in the doctrines that cause good actions. The great fundamental error that’s led to the demonic doctrines of the Baptists and the wickedness of those like them is they’ve decided since we’re saved by faith and not works that anything we “do” is a work and therefore irrelevant to salvation. Since behavior is something we do, they’ve decided behavior is “works” so behavior doesn’t matter. They’re dreadfully wrong. Obedient behavior is faith. And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest, but to those who did not obey? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. For indeed the gospel was preached to us as well as to them; but the word which they heard did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in those who heard it. (Heb3:18-19,4:2) So disobedience is unbelief and obedience is “faith.” And believers must participate in or enter into God’s works or we can't bear fruit. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph2:10) “Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” (Jn15:2,5-6) And of course, But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead? (Jas2:20) The very essence of Baptist heresy is they’re saved by “faith without works.” So they’ve a “dead faith.” This is a faithful saying, and these things I want you to affirm constantly, that those who have believed in God should be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable to men. (Tit3:8) So, Baptist doctrines are not saving but damning their people. Their “dead faith” doctrine denies the relationship between faith and works. What you believe versus what you do. True Christian’s faith, “saving faith” can't be earned by “works” but it’s a gift from God that manifests in obedience to God, including good works and Christ-like behavior. So true faith produces good works and good behavior. The Baptists have foolishly misinterpreted the scriptures on faith to the destruction of their people. And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation-- as also our beloved brother Paul, according to the wisdom given to him, has written to you, as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures. (2Pe3:15-16) Baptists are most certainly satan’s church. You’ll know them by their fruit. “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.” (Matt7:15,19-20) God’s Word very plainly tells us the truth that accords with godly behavior is the truth the true Christian is to believe and have faith in. So by saying behavior doesn’t count, the Baptists have done terrible violence to the gospel. They’re enemies to Christ because the faith that Jesus is teaching is the faith in the truth that accords with godly behavior. And calling godly behavior “works” is subverting the very thing God is purposing to do in His people which is to produce godly behavior through faith. Can you see how wicked this is to oppose Jesus and how nasty the Baptist church is to teach such things as subvert God’s purposes? They’re servants of the devil to do such violence to the gospel of Christ and the Word of God. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2Cor11:13-15) They’re absolutely soldiers of satan. And God is using us to expose them. Jude commands us to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude3) That original “faith” is a faith in the doctrine which accords with godliness, which produces a godly behavior in the believers. These demonic false christians have been trying to fight this doctrinal battle on the basis of “faith versus works.” They’re claiming they have “faith” and saying we’re trying to be saved by “works.” Whereas, the real issue is who has “sound doctrine” because our doctrine produces Christ and His godly behavior in us and they have unsound doctrine that produces ungodly behavior. So, the issue is behavior. Our true faith in sound doctrine produces godly behavior. Their “dead faith” in unsound doctrine produces ungodly behavior. The battle has to be taken to the real issue. Get off this demonic “faith versus works” controversy. The Baptists have created that by twisting the scriptures and it’s a false battlefield. The true battlefield is behavior. It’s whether or not Christ is really in us, whether or not we have a true faith in sound doctrine that produces Christ-like behavior. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. (1Jn2:6,29) Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. Little children, let no one deceive you. He who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. In this the children of God and the children of the devil are manifest: Whoever does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor is he who does not love his brother. (1Jn3:6-10) Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world. (1Jn4:17) We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love his brother abides in death. (1Jn3:14) By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (1Jn5:2,12,18) Christ in you is “salvation.” Christ-like behavior has everything to do with the true gospel, since if you don’t behave like Jesus He isn't in you. Christ in you is your hope of glory. (Col 1:27) If anyone doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ he isn’t His. (Rom8:9) But if you have Christ in you, your behavior will be like Christ. If you have a true Christian faith you’ll behave like “Jesus” because faith in good doctrine will produce “Christ in you” and Christ-like behavior. And if you really have Jesus in you, you’ll be praying for each other to grow up in Christ. Just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. (Eph5:26-27) And you, who once were alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now He has reconciled in the body of His flesh through death, to present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight--if indeed you continue in the faith, grounded and steadfast, and are not moved away from the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was preached to every creature under heaven, of which I, Paul, became a minister. (Col 1:21-23) Epaphras, who is one of you, a bondservant of Christ, greets you, always laboring fervently for you in prayers, that you may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God. (Col 4:12) If you have the faith that produces Jesus in you, you’ll be acting according as Jesus would act. That’s saving faith and that’s the faith that accords with godly behavior. Prophecy: I’m creating a great chasm between those who pretend to know Me and those who really know Me. And those who know Me are on an ascending glory, but those who aren’t I’m sending them spiraling downward. For I’ve taken even what little wisdom they have away, and I’ve taken even what little knowledge they’ve had away and I’m showing them to be fools, and they’re showing themselves to be sons of satan, saith the Lord. So even as I’m giving you, My true people, greater knowledge and increasing light, I’m plunging the false into greater darkness. For I tell you, I’m making a great distinction between the true and the false that those in the valley of decision may see clearly who are truly Mine and those who aren’t. For as I turn My face towards My true people, I’m turning My back on the pretenders, saith the Lord.
The Living Oracles
“This is he who was in the congregation in the wilderness with the Angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our fathers, the one who received the living oracles to give to us, whom our fathers would not obey, but rejected. And in their hearts they turned back to Egypt.” (Acts7:38-39) If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen. (1Pe4:11)
Prophecy: My church is where My presence abides, and My presence is here to change you. My church is where My voice is heard. I speak through My body, through My shepherd, and through those who hear My voice and allow Me to edify the body through them and My voice changes you. Those who hear My voice, obey My voice. Those who know My presence and are led by My Spirit, by My Word and by My peace, these are My people. There’s no other way to follow Me than to hear My voice, be led by My Spirit, and obey My Word. This is the mark of My people. This is the way of My church. I’ve done an awesome work in you here My people, because you’ve taken the steps of faith and as you’ve heard My voice, as you’ve looked in My Word, as you’ve listened to My servant, as you’ve taken the admonishments and the exhortations, these have changed you. My presence has changed you. Church is not just to give you a good feeling, but it’s to change you. The people who are really Mine aren’t looking for mere feelings but they’re looking to be changed. And these are the children I’m bringing to you, saith the Lord. I am bringing you the ones who want to be changed because they don’t like the way they are. They see their sinful nature. They see their shortcomings which I’ve been showing them. When they come to you they’ll have much joy because they see a people who can give testimony to what My Word does, to what My presence does and what My voice does in a people who take heed. And now is the time My people, now is the time for My children to come home. I’ve done a great work in preparing you for this day. Don’t lose the things you’ve worked for. Increase in the knowledge of My will. Increase in the leading of My Spirit, in the following of My voice because I have great and awesome things for you. Great is your reward. Your joy will be full as you see My children coming home to you. They’re on the way, saith the Lord. They’ll be changed as they hear My voice speaking through you. And they’ll rejoice when they hear the testimonies I’ve wrought in you and My grace that’s abundantly upon you to teach to them the things I’ve taught you, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at "My Father's House")
But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the LORD, and of justice and might, to declare to Jacob his transgression and to Israel his sin. (Mic3:8) This very thing is going on in me. False christians say, “You ought to be nice.” But it’s the Spirit and power of the Lord in me that they resent and resist, because we’re exposing their sins. Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth? (Gal 4:16) Hypocrites! They read the things concerning the Old Testament prophets and say, “What mighty men of God” yet when a man of God does the same things today, they call him a sinner and say he’s “judging” or evil speaking, etc. “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.” (Is58:1) What is the power of God for, if not boldness to preach against and expose sin? What’s the problem true men of God have always had with the ungodly? Here’s a typical reaction of the ungodly against a true man of God when Amaziah says to Amos, “…Flee to the land of Judah. There eat bread, and there prophesy. But never again prophesy at Bethel, for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the royal residence.” (Amos7:12-13) Amos responds, “I was no prophet, nor was I a son of a prophet, but I was a sheepbreeder and a tender of sycamore fruit. Then the LORD took me as I followed the flock, and the LORD said to me, ‘Go, prophesy to My people Israel.’” (Amos7:14-15) And this is the problem today. The true people of God are those God speaks to. And the things I say because God speaks to me disagree with what false preachers and false christians say because God doesn’t speak to them. If God did speak to them then they’d be hearing what He’s speaking to me. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1Jn4:6) It’s a simple test! And God has told us to test them. Test all things; hold fast what is good. (1Thes5:21) Do they hear me? If they don’t hear me they don’t hear God. At “My Father’s House” we hear God. Mostly when God speaks to a prophet, He says, “Show My people their sins.” But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings. (Jer23:22) “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” (Jn16:7-11) The Holy Spirit comes to true believers to convict sinners of their sins and to give boldness to the witnesses of God. “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me.” (Acts1:8) And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness. (Acts4:31) If you’re a true believer, God will fill you with power so the wicked can’t shut you up by saying things like, “You’re being critical, you’re church bashing!” The false church needs bashing. It’s full of foolishness and lies and needs the rod of correction to clean it up. Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction will drive it far from him. (Pr22:15) If they don’t repent and listen to God they’ll be destroyed. “Therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.” (Is65:12) Every prophet since the beginning has “offended” the false people of God. Every one of them has exposed sin. God has to show people what they’re doing wrong so they can repent and get right. And God fills His witnesses with the power of His Spirit so the wicked can’t intimidate us. If you hear God then that’s what’s happening with you. The false brethren can’t shut you up when God tells you to speak. Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not. (Jer20:9) Today the false christian says, “You’re judging me if you tell me my sins. You’re sinning if you do that. You’re not in love.” These so-called “christians” and churches today couldn’t receive any prophet of God from the Bible. If any true man of God came to them they’d reject him and throw him out. Most of today’s “christians” are as wicked and as ungodly as any generation of wicked people God has ever dealt with in the scriptures. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!” (Matt23:37) Today’s “churches” won’t tolerate real men of God. These false churches have defined love in a way that renders their “god” powerless. It’s as though in their foolish minds God has no ability to judge, rebuke, reprove, or straighten things out because if He tries to do any of that they say it’s not love so it’s not God. They won’t tolerate men of God who teach sound doctrine. They say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.” (Is30:10-11) It’s obvious such “believers” are of satan. The wicked doctrines of today’s churches are designed to “say to the seer don’t prophesy!” They’re antichrist. The false churches of today are doing exactly what God has judged the disobedient Jews for over and over. Do you think the disobedient “churches” of today will escape God’s judgment? You people who fear God better get out of Babylon. Get out of these antichrist churches. I’m full of power by the Spirit of the Lord to declare God’s truth. So was Micah, Amos, Isaiah, Jeremiah, and so was Paul, and so was Apollos. Every true man of God from forever is full of God’s power to expose sin in such a way the wicked can’t shut him up. O LORD, You induced me, and I was persuaded; you are stronger than I, and have prevailed. I am in derision daily; everyone mocks me. For when I spoke, I cried out; I shouted, “Violence and plunder!” (He’s telling them their transgressions!) Because the word of the LORD was made to me a reproach and a derision daily. (Jer20:7-8) Isaiah says salvation is far from the Jews in his day. For our transgressions are multiplied before You, and our sins testify against us; for our transgressions are with us, and as for our iniquities, we know them: In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood. Justice is turned back, and righteousness stands afar off; for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter. So truth fails, and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Then the LORD saw it, and it displeased Him that there was no justice. (Is59:12-15) Because the times are evil, prudent men have to hide themselves. If one departs from iniquity the wicked will try to kill him. Even Jeremiah tries to stop prophesying because all he’s getting out of it is grief. Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him, nor speak anymore in His name.” But His word was in my heart like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could not. (Jer20:9) But the Spirit wouldn’t let him. So for the true believer today, the Holy Spirit in you is stronger than your fears and will cause you to prevail over your enemies. In Job Elihu says, “I am young in years, and you are very old; therefore I was afraid, and dared not declare my opinion to you. I said, ‘Age should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.’ But there is a spirit in man, and the breath of the Almighty gives him understanding. Great men are not always wise, nor do the aged always understand justice.” (Job32:6-9) Elihu continues, I also will answer my part, I too will declare my opinion. For I am full of words; the Spirit within me compels me. Indeed my belly is like wine that has no vent; it is ready to burst like new wineskins. I will speak, that I may find relief; I must open my lips and answer. (Job32:17-20) Elihu sounds like Jeremiah. The Lord has given him something to say and he must say it or explode. Jeremiah calls it fire in his bones. Remember Amos, Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. A lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord GOD has spoken! Who can but prophesy? (Amos3:7-8) Do you understand what a lion’s roar can do? It’s one of the most terrible sounds in nature. The roar is so loud that if you are near enough it can physically hurt you. It’s designed to invoke terror! Lions usually hunt at night in teams. The female lion catches the prey and the male lion roars. They send the female lions to lay in wait in front of the game, then the male lions go behind the game and begin to roar. What happens? The terrified prey run right to the females and the females catch them. The roar is designed to scare the game so they’ll panic and run into the trap. A lion has roared and who will not fear? According to Amos, the Lord has spoken, who can but prophecy? (Amos3:8) It’s as impossible to not prophesy when God speaks as it is to not fear when a lion roars. Paul says, The spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. (1Cor14:32) He means the prophets can choose an orderly time and proper place to speak. But as Jeremiah says, if God wants the prophet to speak, how can he resist God? God will win! His will must be done. His Word will be spoken. If God wants me to speak, I can’t shut my mouth for long. I can't hold it back forever. It’s a fire in my bones. It’s wine that needs to be vented. His word has to come out. Now while Paul waited for them at Athens, his spirit was provoked within him when he saw that the city was given over to idols. So, he had to preach. Therefore he reasoned in the synagogue… (Acts17:16) And when Paul preaches, do you think he does it unobtrusively, quietly? Now as Paul thus made his defense, Festus said with a loud voice, “Paul, you are beside yourself! Much learning is driving you mad!” But Paul said, “I am not mad, most noble Festus, but speak the words of truth and reason.” (Acts26:24-25) When Paul is reasoning or preaching he’s doing it with fervency and vigor. In fact, Paul is so passionate that Festus thinks he’s going crazy. But Paul has something to say that’s going to burst his belly if he doesn’t get it out because he’s got something in him that comes from God. “But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to the synagogues and prisons. You will be brought before kings and rulers for My name's sake. But it will turn out for you as an occasion for testimony. Therefore settle it in your hearts not to meditate beforehand on what you will answer; for I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries will not be able to contradict or resist.” (Lk21:12-15) For it is not you who speaks but the Holy Spirit. (Mk13:11) What God tells you can't be kept secret. It can’t be put under a bushel and it can’t be hidden. Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, the Word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness. And he went into all the region around the Jordan, PREACHING…(Lk3:1-3) When the Word of God came to John the Baptist he had to preach. He had to speak the things God had given him. “For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” (Acts4:20) The Word of God came to me also and ever since I’ve been preaching too. And they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus. (Acts4:18) Here the apostles are forbidden by the authorities to preach God’s Word just like with Amos, just like Jeremiah, just like about every prophet God has ever sent has been commanded not to preach. Just like that wicked Baptist chaplain in the prison commanded me not to preach what God was giving me but instead, “Just preach the positives and not the negative. Preach the things we all agree on. Don’t preach the controversial things.” Well I’m preaching Jesus is Lord. Do you agree on that? “Yes, of course.” “Then, because Jesus is Lord and you are not lord I will preach what Jesus tells me to, not what you tell me to.” The wicked false christians always want to shut God’s true prophets up. This is a rebellious people, lying children, children who will not hear the law of the LORD; who say to the seers, “Do not see,” and to the prophets, “Do not prophesy to us right things; speak to us smooth things, prophesy deceits. Get out of the way, turn aside from the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us.” (Is30:9-11) “You’re judging me,” they say but what they really mean is “Don’t tell me about my sins – speak to me smooth things.” “Don’t get into controversial things” is what that wicked Baptist chaplain says but what he really means is, “Speak smooth things, tickle ears, make people happy. Tell them peace and safety. Be a false prophet like me.” He obviously doesn’t believe God speaks through man. Because he has no real God and God doesn’t speak through him, he thinks I’m just like him and I only speak from myself, from my own thoughts, my own head. But he’s wrong. I’m called of God to speak what God gives me. The fact that he’s not of God doesn’t change my calling. God did not come to call the righteous to repentance and he doesn’t send a prophet to tell you that you’re alright. If the people are alright then God doesn’t need to correct them. He never sends you a prophet to tell you what is right with the country or what is right with the church or what is right with you. He always sends a prophet to tell you what’s wrong. And then He tells you what you ought to do to get right. He does this to save you, to perfect you. And there will never be a glorious church unless the churches let Jesus tell them what’s wrong so they can correct it. And you personally will never become fit for the Kingdom of God unless you let God perfect you by telling you what’s wrong with you. “Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they do not believe in Me; of righteousness, because I go to My Father and you see Me no more; of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.” (Jn16:7-11) When the Holy Spirit came on the Day of Pentecost, did everybody just spontaneously get convicted of their sins – or did the Spirit use Peter to preach to the multitudes and then convict all of the people who heard Peter preach? So, who are these fools who say, “You’re not supposed to convict me, that’s the Spirit’s job – not yours.” The Spirit uses men to tell you about your sins and convict you. “Men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a Man attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know-- Him, being delivered by the determined purpose and foreknowledge of God, you have taken by lawless hands, have crucified, and put to death; Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ.” Now when they heard this, they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Men and brethren, what shall we do?” (Acts2:22-23,36-37) And that’s what God’s prophets have always done. “Cry aloud, spare not; lift up your voice like a trumpet; tell My people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. Yet they seek Me daily, and delight to know My ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and did not forsake the ordinance of their God. They ask of Me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching God.” (Is58:1-2) But if they had stood in My counsel, and had caused My people to hear My words, then they would have turned them from their evil way and from the evil of their doings. (Jer23:22) The wicked false christians don’t want to hear God’s correction. They call themselves men of God but they work for the devil and they try to shut God up by shutting God’s true preachers up. They don’t want people to really repent of their sins and really get saved. Their job is to keep people in the dark. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you more than to God, you judge. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” (Acts4:19-20) We cannot but speak what God has given us to say. He’s given us a voice. He’s given us His Word. The Word of God has come to me just like it did to John the Baptist and I have to speak what He’s given me to speak. Now the Lord spoke to Paul in the night by a vision, “Do not be afraid, but speak, and do not keep silent.” (Acts18:9) The Lord told me the same thing. He’s told every prophet the same thing. But the LORD said to me: “Do not say, ‘I am a youth,’ for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak.” (Jer1:7) And He said to me: “Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day. For they are impudent and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD.’” (Ezek2:3-4) When Jeremiah and Ezekiel meet the Lord, He commands them to speak and not keep silent. “I am with you and I will deliver you,” God says. God says the same thing to you and me: go into all the world and preach the gospel, for lo I am with you always. (Mk16:15,Matt28:20) Look at Apollos: He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Aquila and Priscilla heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately. (Acts18:26) He received their exhortation because he’s a man of God. They are of God and Apollos is of God and therefore, he hears them. And when he desired to cross to Achaia, the brethren wrote, exhorting the disciples to receive him; and when he arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace; for he vigorously refuted the Jews publicly, showing from the Scriptures that Jesus is the Christ. (Acts18:27-28) It never says anything about the Jews he vigorously refuted getting saved because that’s not the primary purpose of his defense of the faith. What Apollos is doing first and foremost, is protecting the faith in the believers from the lies of the Jews. Likewise, I’m protecting the faith in the elect today from the lies of these wicked Baptists and similar false christians. Modern heretics have corrupted the gospel and they delight in twisting God’s Word to the destruction of themselves and those who hear them. Each of them has his own little bag of lies he’ll use to try to destroy your faith; to keep you from being conformed to the image of Christ and going on to perfection in Jesus. For there are many insubordinate, both idle talkers and deceivers, especially those of the circumcision, whose mouths must be stopped, who subvert whole households, teaching things which they ought not, for the sake of dishonest gain. This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith, not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth. To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work. (Tit1:10-11,13-16) Whether the false christians repent and get saved or not isn’t the main issue. When we vigorously refute them, it saves the elect so they aren’t taken captive and destroyed by satan’s ungodly deceits. It did not say Apollos helped the Jews. It says he greatly helped the believers by refuting the Jews. That’s what I’m doing too. I’m not here to be nice to false christians. I’m here to save the elect by refuting the lies of the wicked false christians. Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. (2Tim2:10) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because He has anointed me to preach… (Lk4:18) If the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, He’s anointed you to speak. He does not anoint you to be silent. Jesus says, You shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me…(Acts1:8) The Holy Spirit makes you a witness by giving you the power to speak “as the oracles of God.” If the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, we’ll know it by what you say because it will agree with God’s Word. And we’ll know by how you say it because you’ll speak with power, with boldness, with authority. (Acts4:13,Mk1:22) When the Holy Spirit fell on the Day of Pentecost the onlookers said, “…We hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.” (Acts2:11) If the Spirit of the Lord is upon you, you’ll also speak of the wonderful works of God. But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you.” (Is43:1-2) “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He.” (Is43:10) Notice what Peter says to the New Testament church concerning Old Testament prophets; Of this salvation the prophets have inquired and searched carefully, who prophesied of the grace that would come to you, searching what, or what manner of time, the Spirit of Christ who was in them was indicating when He testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ and the glories that would follow. To them it was revealed that, not to themselves, but to us they were ministering the things which now have been reported to you through those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven-- things which angels desire to look into. (1Pe1:10-12) The first century church didn’t have a New Testament. Their Bible was the Old Testament. Yet they’re preaching New Covenant grace from Old Testament scriptures. When God says in Isaiah, “…I have redeemed you…” (Is43:1) Is redemption of the New Covenant or the Old? Redemption is under the New Covenant. So, God is talking to the New Covenant saints here. “Look I’ve created you and I’ve formed you.” (Is43:1) Does that correspond to any New Covenant scriptures? Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2Cor5:17) I’ve created you and formed you is New Covenant. What did God form you to be? I formed you to be My witnesses. “You are My witnesses,” says the LORD, “And My servants whom I have chosen, that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, nor shall there be after Me. I, even I, am the LORD, and besides Me there is no savior. I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, and there was no foreign god among you; therefore you are My witnesses.” (Is43:10-12) “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts1:8) The people God has really spoken to, the people who are truly redeemed, the people who are God’s new creations, the people who are really being conformed to the image of Christ, these are Christ’s witnesses as Christ is God’s witness. “I’ve anointed you with My Holy Spirit so you can witness that you know Me, and there’s no other God but Me! I’m the only God.” For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. (Is43:3) “I killed other people to save you,” Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you; therefore I will give men for you, and people for your life. (Is43:4) “I’ll sacrifice other people to save you because you’re precious to Me.” “Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, and gather you from the west; I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’ And to the south, ‘Do not keep them back!’ Bring My sons from afar, and My daughters from the ends of the earth--Everyone who is called by My name, whom I have created for My glory; I have formed him, yes, I have made him.” (Is43:5-7) I’m bringing My new creation children to you; I have formed him conforming him to Christ yes, I have made him. (Is43:7) Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. Here am I and the children whom the LORD has given me! We are for signs and wonders in Israel. (Is8:16,18) We are the children God has given Jesus. But I can say the same thing; here am I and here are the children God has given me at “My Father’s House” and we’re for signs and wonders in Christ’s true church. We’re here to demonstrate the power of the living God, the reality of the real God, and to expose the foolishness and the lies of the false churches. If you’re a new creation, God has created you and He’s conforming you to Christ. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph2:10) We’re for signs and wonders, witnessing, preaching and the doing of any good work agreeable to sound doctrine. You’ve been created in Christ by God; you’re His workmanship designed to walk in His good works. One of His great works today is the Glory of His Grace. God told me to publish the Glory Of His Grace and He named it. We aren’t doing our works, things we thought up but God’s good works are what we do in “My Father’s House.” These were things He ordained from the foundation of the earth that we should walk in them. He’s called us into His works and out of man’s works and our own “ideas.” That’s one reason the false church is so offended by us. We won't participate in their works because they aren’t God’s works but man’s. “The world cannot hate you, but it hates Me because I testify of it that its works are evil.” (Jn7:7) Most of the telephone calls we receive at “My Father’s House” are from false christians and false churches trying to solicit us, sell us something or get us involved in some pet project they’ve come up with. That’s why God gave us the message on our answering machine to let these “solicitors” know we’re fully occupied in the works God has given us and have no time to get involved in what these false christians and churches are doing. The message is very strong. When it’s done the callers usually don’t dare speak. It convicts them. I pray every time one like that calls they’ll be convicted with fear and trembling where they see they don’t have a real church and they don’t know the real God we know. We never “solicit” other churches to get involved in the work God has given us. If God has called us to these works He’ll add to us whoever He wants to participate in them. We don’t have to “recruit” strangers. But these false “churches” are always playing silly games of pretend christianity. They think up cute programs or what may look like helpful ideas and then try to drum up support for things God hasn’t called them to do. If He’d called them, He’d supply the support. Most of these false christians are so busy trying to raise support for their silly programs that they have little time left to actually do the “work.” But we have the real thing and we’re busy doing the work and we don’t have to bother about “raising support” because it’s God’s work we’re doing and God supports it. But false christians don’t know God, so they follow their own ideas. They ignore God’s Word, except when it agrees with their selfish interests. They say, “God knows my heart” to cover up their continual sins and failures. God does know your heart! “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings.” (Jer17:9-10) He knows the heart of the wicked servant who buried the talent. “And cast the unprofitable servant into the outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt25:30) And the heart of the self-serving servant, “Cut him in two and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites. There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matt24:51) God does know your heart but do you know your heart? Are you one who God can reward or are you an excuse maker? There are so many who won't obey God. They won't walk in the works God has foreordained. They’ve no heart for it. They think they can get by doing nothing when God’s true saints are fighting the battle for God’s truth and His glory! The real saints are taking the abuse and bearing the reproaches and bringing forth the real fruit. Yet these who won’t do anything think they’ll have an equal share in the Kingdom. Such aren’t saints “staying by the stuff.” They’re burying the talent, not staying by it. The people who stayed with the stuff were worn out by their soldierings and they needed a rest. It wasn’t that they had an unwillingness to fight they were physically unable. But David pursued, he and four hundred men; for two hundred stayed behind, who were so weary that they could not cross the Brook Besor. But as his part is who goes down to the battle, so shall his part be who stays by the supplies; they shall share alike. (1Sam 30:10,24) “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” (Lk4:18-19) When the Spirit of the Lord is upon you or me it’s for this same anointing. “He sent Me to heal the broken hearted and preach deliverance to the captives.” The captives aren’t just those in bondage to sin, but also to the heresies of the false churches that prevent them from going on to perfection in Christ. We’re anointed to preach deliverance to the captives, to free them from satan’s lies and get them out of the false churches and into the Holy Spirit and true church of Christ. “To preach recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” You’re not in God’s church unless you’re in a place where this is going on; where the blind are given sight and the oppressed set free. If that’s not going on through you, then you’re not anointed. If you’re truly a member of the body of Christ, you must be doing your part to fulfill this scripture. “Jesus, the same yesterday, today and forever,” (Heb13:8) describes every real Christian; for as He is, so are we in this world. (1Jn4:17) If you’re not participating in Christ’s work then you’re not a member of His body. Because to be a member of Christ’s body you have to be a part of the work His body is doing. Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith (Rom12:6) But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all (1Cor12:7) God gives every member of Christ’s body a part to help the others. If you don’t have a part then God hasn’t counted you as a member. From whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Eph4:16) So if we are true members of Christ’s body each of us has a special part to do working together with the others to bring forth the glorious church without spot or wrinkle and the fulfillment of God’s Word concerning the church. If you’re Christ’s you must be doing your part. And if you’re not doing your part you’re not a member. And since we have the same Spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed and therefore I spoke,” we also believe and therefore speak. (2Cor4:13) The Spirit of the Lord is upon me to speak and to preach. (Lk4:18) When the Lord’s Spirit is upon you, he gives you both utterance and boldness to speak. If you have faith God is speaking to you, you’ll be a witness to what He says, as Jesus teaches, “I have many things to say and to judge concerning you, but He who sent Me is true; and I speak to the world those things which I heard from Him.” (Jn8:26) “Do not give what is holy to the dogs; nor cast your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn and tear you in pieces.” (Matt7:6) We’re not to speak to just anyone. Jesus tells us we’re to “judge” who are swine and dogs and not speak to them. The Spirit will show us these things. For God can’t anoint you to preach to swine when His own Word forbids it. But God’s Spirit anoints us to speak in the place where it will bless someone, edify the brethren or defend the faith against heretics. His Spirit empowers us to be His witnesses because that’s what we must do to save the lost sheep on the one hand, or to edify the saints on the other. We must share with others what Christ shares with us. But to do this you must have faith. If you have faith God is giving you a prophecy then you’ll surely speak it. If you have faith God has given you a revelation, then you must certainly share it. If you have faith God has given you something to pray for in the corporate prayer meeting, then you’re not going to shut up and just sit there but you must stand up and share that prayer because of your faith. When we have services where nobody is doing anything that means no one has faith. Without a living faith the church is dead, the services are dead. The reason why a church service is alive like it was this Sunday, like it is tonight, is because God’s people have faith. And because you are hearing God, you have the hearing of faith, you speak what you’ve heard and that brings glory to God and edification to the church. Speak as the oracles of God when you’re in the right place to speak, and the true church is one right place to speak. You wonder why so many people get healed when they walk in the door of “My Father’s House.” You’ve heard it said, “The church isn’t the building, it’s the people.” The hem of Jesus’ garment isn’t Jesus but there’s so much virtue in Jesus it overflows the hem. And the church building is the physical covering over God’s people. To be healed you don’t always have to get them to the body, just get to the hem of Christ’s garment. Where the true church is, the anointing is there because the people are there. If the body’s in the garment then all you have to do is touch the garment and you connect with the power of the body. Just touch the hem of Christ’s garment, the door of the church and you’ll encounter the power. The Bible says, “Power went out of Him, virtue went out of Christ;” because there’s an abundance of virtue in Him it’s overflowing His garments. And that’s the way it can be in the true church’s building too. If you’re the body of Christ, the church isn’t the building, but the building can still be anointed by virtue of God’s people in it. Do you believe? If you believe, you’ll speak what you believe. Out of the heart the mouth speaks, a good man out of the treasure of a good heart will bring forth good things! (Matt12:34-35) But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Rom10:8-10) Romans says you can’t just hide the righteousness in your heart but you must speak that righteousness. Confession is made unto salvation! That doesn’t mean you confess it only to friendly people in church, but you must speak it wherever God wants you to, wherever it can save somebody. Confessing your faith demonstrates faith is in your heart. If you have a righteous heart, then the Word of God is in your heart. It’s the Word of God that recreated you and it’s the Word of God that’s conforming you to Jesus. The Word of God is saving your soul, and you’re not willing to let it come out of your mouth to save someone else? Do you think God will hold you guiltless for that? Deliver those who are drawn toward death, and hold back those stumbling to the slaughter. If you say, “Surely we did not know this,” does not He who weighs the hearts consider it? He who keeps your soul, does He not know it? And will He not render to each man according to his deeds? (Pr24:11-12) God sees your heart. He knows if Christ is in you, you’ll put up a roadblock to save the sinner and show them what’s going on. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. (Rom10:10) You don’t get the salvation until you speak the righteousness that’s in your heart. “I delight to do Your will, O my God, and Your law is within my heart.” (Ps40:8) Because he’s righteous in heart the psalmist speaks. I have proclaimed the good news of righteousness in the great assembly; indeed, I do not restrain my lips, O LORD, You Yourself know. I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart… It would be like burying your talent to keep the good news of God’s salvation a secret. I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly. Do not withhold Your tender mercies from me… (Ps40:9-11) How could you have a real salvation if God were withholding His tender mercies from you? So, here we see true salvation is given to those whose faith proclaims the good news of their own salvation to others that others also may be saved. If you are ashamed of Him and His word, He’ll be ashamed of you. (Mk8:38) Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue; for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God. (Jn12:42-43) So they believed, but not unto salvation because they didn’t have the faith to confess Jesus publicly. Then Jesus is ashamed of them. And even though they had the truth in their heart, by not confessing it they didn’t attain to salvation. It’s shameful to be a “secret christian.” While the true church is bearing the reproach of Christ, these people are comfortably socializing with the enemy! You think God smiles on that? Christ’s real church is standing up for the truth, while these “secret christians” who are ashamed to admit they believe in the real Jesus are partying with our persecutors. They’re cowards. “But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (Rev21:8) They want to have it both ways. They want to be accepted by God and accepted by the devil. Can’t you see you make yourself an enemy to God when you won't stand up for Christ and bear His reproach? Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach. (Heb13:12-13) If you want to have fellowship with false christians, then you don’t have the right to fellowship with true ones. Because we stand against their lies, they slander us, blaspheme us and bear false witness against us. They call the police and social agencies for no reason other than to harass us. They bring false complaints to authorities and they do all these things because they hate us. Now you’re going to be friendly with them and friendly with us? NO YOU WON'T!! If you’re not willing to stand up for what we and Christ stand for and bear the reproach with us and Him, then you’re not worthy to be one of us. There’s a cost to being a Christian. Jesus says, “You pick up your cross and follow Me, you must bear the reproach of the cross if you’re to be My disciple.” (Lk14:27) Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us prophesy in proportion to our faith; or ministry, let us use it in our ministering; he who teaches, in teaching; he who exhorts, in exhortation…(Rom12:6-8) Do you know what an exhortation is? I’m exhorting you right now! What am I exhorting you to do? I’m exhorting real Christians to stand up for the Lord! Stand up for His Word! Speak as the oracles of God! Not to be intimidated by the false christians and not to fellowship with them. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. (2Jn10-11) You can't have it both ways. You can't serve God and mammon! (Matt6:24) You won’t be found worthy of Christ and His church unless you bear the same reproach Jesus and His true people bear. As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If anyone speaks, let him speak as the oracles of God. If anyone ministers, let him do it as with the ability which God supplies, that in all things God may be glorified… (1Pe4:10-11) If God has spoken to you, then you speak boldly and stand up for the truth God has spoken to you. Don’t be a wimp or a wuss. Speak as the oracles of God. Be God’s mouthpiece. Vigorously refute the “Jews” and false christians. Lift up your voice like a trumpet and show the wicked their sins. (Is58:1-2) Speak so God will be pleased with your speech and your faith. He’s using you to witness for Him. Now do so in a way befitting the importance of the work He’s given you. Speak with such strength of faith that all who hear will know you’re of God and there’s no doubt in their minds that you’re speaking truth. If you’re to inspire faith in others there can be no doubt in you. Some of you when you speak, there are too many “probablies.” Probably this, probably that. The Word of the Lord isn’t probably, it’s certainly. Faith doesn’t have any probablies in it. Faith is an absolute certainty. If there’s a “probably,” that means there’s doubt and if there’s doubt, it isn’t certainty at all; it’s unbelief. “If any man speak let him speak as the oracles of God” means with absolute faith that what you’re saying is God’s Word. The true church produces a product: Christ-like Christians. God brings His children who hear Him and obey Him and who’ll endure chastening to His true church. There, He puts them under the authority of His God given five-fold ministers; able men that He’s chosen, trained, approved, and tested. And in that true church environment, His children are raised up among brethren with like precious faith to be Christ-like Christians. They’re established in Christ and conformed to the image of Christ and that is the product (fruit) that comes out of the true church. Then these sons of God – the Spirit led children of the true church, can be sent throughout the world to start other churches. Today, the false churches foolishly think their work is just to get people to come to church. That’s like a car company that keeps on ordering more and more parts but never builds a car. They say, “What a great factory we have, look at all the fenders over there; millions of fenders. Look at all the wheels over there. Oh man! We have wheels coming out our ears. What a mighty church we are. Look at the engines! Have you ever seen so many engines in your whole life?” And then you say, “Where are the cars? Aren’t you supposed to be building cars?” And they may as well answer, “We don’t know how to do that. We’re just in the procurement department. We’re not in the putting together department. No one has ever taught us how to put the parts together. But aren’t we doing a good job of procuring?” Now all these so-called “churches” will be found bankrupt in the judgment because they don’t have any product. The purpose of procuring the parts for the body of Christ is to put the body together and produce Christ-like churches filled with Christ-like Christians who are doing the works foreordained from the foundations of the earth that we should walk in them. (Eph2:10) I don’t know of any churches except “My Father’s House” who are doing that, so they’re not qualified to be called “churches” because they’re not fulfilling the function God’s true churches fulfill. In “My Father’s House” we’re putting the wheels on the car and the fenders on the car and the engine in the car. We’re producing Christ-like Christians because the purpose of procuring is to build. It’s to finish the product Jesus is looking for, God the father is looking for; to bring forth mature sons of God who’ve come to the perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Eph4:13) We’re building the glorious church without spot or wrinkle. (Eph5:27) That’s what the true church is doing. That’s what we’re doing. We’re putting to shame false churches who think all they are supposed to do is get people to come in and then they don’t do anything for them except take their money and tell them lies. Shame on them! But God has a real work going on here and He’ll have His glorious church before we’re done, in Jesus’ name. Prophecy: I’m the lion of Judah. I’m the lion who roars, who speaks forth like a trumpet, who declares to My people their transgressions, who turns them from their sins and heals them from their iniquities. And when I speak, My people hear and when I speak My people fear and when I speak My people obey. For I’m the lion of Judah and I roar. I tell you, My people are My righteous witnesses and the righteous are bold as lions. You are the oracles of your God and My oracles are bold and they speak as I speak. They speak forth, they’re not mealy-mouthed and they aren’t weak but they speak My Words in faith and they speak My Words in boldness and they speak in power and My enemies fear and tremble for out of My oracles come My living Words. I tell you My people, go forth in the power and the might of the Spirit of your God and speak as the oracles of God and be bold as lions. For you are My witnesses, says the Lord. I’ve put My words in your mouth and you know Me. So speak boldly and I’ll cause My enemies to fear and tremble. I’ll cause My children to hear and come forth. I’ll cause My Work to increase and prevail. For you, I say, are as the twelve, you are as those who’ve been first chosen and have begun the work. As you go forth and speak with boldness and might I’ll bring forth Apollos’s, I’ll bring forth Timothy’s, I’ll bring forth Titus’s and I’ll bring forth true children who’ll come and hear and learn and grow and then go forth as righteous men as bold lions and they too will speak My Words in power. And when I’m done it will be as the roaring of lions all throughout this world and the enemies cannot but fear and tremble. For My righteous children will speak as Christ speaks and all the world will hear My church. All the world will know Me for I’ll sound forth like the roaring of a lion through My church, says the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at "My Father's House")
