Curstians Not Christians

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 9/Issue 4

Prophecy: I have said, “Awake and Christ will give you light.” And that is what I am doing here as you awake to righteousness. As you call upon Me I open your eyes to see where the enemy is, what his tricks are, how he works; who the true brethren are and who the false are. All of these things are of My light that I am pouring out upon you who have awakened. Around you, those who do not see what you see – they are still asleep. But now, I command that they should be awakened also, that you should blow the trumpet; cry aloud and spare not. That you should shake the bed and pull off the covering and wake them up that they may see the light I am showing you that many may attain to the election I have promised to My true people who hear Me and know Me, thus saith the Lord.

The New Testament and the New Covenant is much concerned with the great breakthrough that came through Jesus’ resurrection and glorification and the releasing of the Holy Spirit into the earth in a new way where every believer could have the Master Teacher in himself, in his own heart. And now by obedience to the Spirit from the heart the behavior of Christ can be put on in the mind. This is described in the phrase, “that you be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Rom12:2) Because Jesus is in your heart, and your motivations come from the heart, then with Christ in your heart you will be motivated to do what is right, and your mind will want to learn how to do right. Thus your heart has to lead you to want to receive godly instructions so your mind can learn how to do right in Christ. That is part of why you are here in “My Father’s House” and reading the Glory of His Grace, because your heart is leading you to learn of Jesus so that you can put on the appropriate behavior of Christ. That is why there are so many “shoulds” and “oughts” and suggestions, and admonishments and such things in the Holy Scriptures. Because they are all describing the proper behavior of a Christian who is truly abiding in Christ and in whom Christ dwells. And wherever you see a discrepancy in the behavior of the Christian versus Christ or a so-called “believer’s” behavior is not matching up to the behavior of Christ, you have a problem either where their mind is not properly transformed yet, and it does not see the way to behave properly, or you have a more serious problem, as we see in many of the false “churches” around us; Christ is not there at all! And that is why they do not behave as Christ behaves. So you must have a true regeneration to begin with or you will not have the proper heart motivation to be able to put Christ on in faith. And anything you attempt to do will be either legal or licentious and it will fail, because it will be of the flesh. And flesh cannot produce even a very poor imitation of Christ in you.

Recently the Lord quickened this to us. Just as they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations, So will I choose their delusions, and bring their fears on them; (Is66:3-4) This is concerning a people who are worshipping, and yet God is rejecting their worship. He who kills a bull is as if he slays a man; (This man is making a sacrifice, yet God considers him as bad as a murderer) he who sacrifices a lamb, as if he breaks a dog’s neck; (Is66:3a) God sees these people are unclean and He does not receive their worship. We need to understand this today. People think they can worship God any way they want to and He will bless and accept it; but God will not accept worship that is not according to His standards. And He will treat people who worship in vain ways just as He would treat unrepentant criminals. And we have seen things in the news like tornados hitting churches while they’re engaged in worship and such. Do you think God is blessing such people? Do people think, “This is just an accident and it has no bearing on our relationship with God?” Is your God dead? Are you insane? To have a calamity strike your “church” in the midst of your worship is a sure sign that you’re not being accepted by God. Something is wrong when such things are happening. God says He’ll be a covering to His true people. They’ll be under His protection. He’ll be a wall of fire around them when they are doing right. Then the LORD will create above every dwelling place of Mount Zion, and above her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day and the shining of a flaming fire by night. For over all the glory there will be a covering. In that day sing to her, “A vineyard of red wine! I, the LORD, keep it, I water it every moment; lest any hurt it, I keep it night and day.” (Is4:5;27:2-3) But if they reject Him, So will I choose their delusions, because, when I called, no one answered, when I spoke they did not hear; (Is66:4) for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me. (Jer16:12) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; (Jer17:9)

Now, most people think they are not evil but they are deceived. Blessed is the man to whom the LORD does not impute iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. (Ps32:2) Many think because they give some lip service to Christ and they go to church they are good people. Others think because they try to be good that makes them good. But if they are not regenerated in Christ, they have an evil heart. So their heart deceives them and often it does that with flatteries. Such people walk in the imagination of their own evil heart thinking they are saved and God loves them when, in fact, they are in a very bad way with God. And He says, “No one listens to Me.” The fact is that because they think everything is fine with God, even when somebody who is truly of God tries to tell them, “You need to repent. You are not in a good way with God.” They will not listen. They cannot hear anything that pertains to God’s voice because of their foolish imaginations. So God says, “I will choose their delusions, because, when I spoke they did not hear;” (Is66:4) There is absolutely no salvation unless when God speaks you hear. It does not matter how often you go to church, it does not matter if you are in a “christian” family, it does not matter if you have a pastor for a father or a husband; if you do not listen when God speaks you are lost. Because this is the essence of salvation: “My sheep know My voice.” (Jn10:27) When Jesus speaks, His people hear Him. Too many people are listening to the world. And when the world speaks they hear, but they cannot hear Christ speak. Many are listening to TV, radio, news or music etc. Others can’t listen to God because they’re always listening to their belly. (Phil 3:19) But the point is, when Jesus becomes your Lord, He reigns in you, and your belly does not reign, and the world does not reign, and the TV does not reign. And if these things are reigning, Jesus is not your Lord. If you aren’t hearing His voice and obeying Him you can’t be saved.

Recently mother prepared a fine dinner. It was sitting on the corner of the table, ready to be passed around when two of our teenagers began roughhousing, pushing on each other as they came to the dinner table. They could have ruined the meal and spilled all the food by behaving like children. And I had to rebuke them. Why? Because their flesh is ruling them; they are going from flesh to flesh. The Bible says, “Wake up to righteousness and stop sinning.” (1Cor15:34) If you are in the flesh you are in trouble spiritually. I am warning you, God is warning you! Listen to the warning! You should not be acting like a child anymore! You must put off the childish things and get godly! You’re to be edifying one another; not provoking one another to sin; but provoking one another to love and good works! (Heb10:24) This is a serious thing! The purpose of having true Church is that you may be established in Christ, to abide in Christ; and to recognize whenever your behavior is not consistent with Jesus Christ in you, you are in trouble! Carnal behavior means you are serving death, not the Lord, and you don’t belong to Jesus and you have no claim on Heaven or immortality, because if your behavior is such Christ is not in you.

In our services at “My Father’s House,” everything we preach, everything we teach is purposed to show you what it means to have Christ in you. The “churches” around us are lost because they behave like carnal people. And they behave that way because they are unregenerated. In their imagination they think, “I believe Jesus is the Son of God, and that makes me saved. So Jesus must be in me no matter how I behave.” And that line of reasoning is false. The Bible does not teach you to think that way. Wicked men have taught people to think that way; men who in cunning craftiness lie in wait to deceive (Eph4:14) have come up with these twisted, demonic doctrines that say, “All you have to do is believe Jesus is Lord and then He is in you.” Well, first off, the Bible says that you do not have Him in you until you are baptized in a true faith. (Col 2:12) Most “christians” today have not even been baptized, let alone baptized in a real faith. So Jesus is not in them. Secondly, the Bible says you must examine yourselves and make sure Jesus is in you, because if He is not in you, you are not His. (2Cor13:5;Rom8:9) So you better examine yourselves. And when you are continually seeing carnal behavior in a so-called believer you have a sure evidence Jesus is not in him. Then there are those who evidence a part-time Jesus; putting Him on in the morning and taking Him off in the afternoon. Such “believers” are not established in Christ. And to not be established in Christ is a serious shortcoming. You must become established in Him at all times. (2Cor1:21)

What is so silly about many false Christians is they think once they have “confessed a belief in Jesus as Savior, their salvation is complete and secure. They don’t have to think about it anymore; they can go about their lives, go to church once in a while, and have a guaranteed welcome in Heaven. They have no concept whatsoever how necessary it is that your behavior be consistent with Jesus living in you if you’re to be saved. In fact, they’ve been taught that they don’t have to be concerned about that because that is “works.” Think about it! Why does God put so much doctrine in the Bible that has to do with your behavior if it is unnecessary and you can ignore it? And how stupid is it for people to reject all these admonishments and all this doctrine about behavior and say, “It does not matter whether we do that or not, because we are saved just by professing Jesus to be the Son of God?” Well, Jesus sure wasted a lot of His time and ours. He sure deceived us and all His apostles by giving us all these verses He wants us to live up to if it is not necessary. But Jesus is not wasting His time! What should be obvious here is the false “churches” are terribly misinterpreting the scriptures. And all the things the people are commanded to do in order to become established in Christ, in order to be transformed by the renewing of the mind, aren’t being done because the people are deceived so they do not see the need for it.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Rom12:1-2) Be renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Eph4:23) If you think all you need to do is to confess Jesus to be saved, and you are not presenting your body a living sacrifice, then you are deceived and not saved. Because it’s your taking hold of the process of being saved that causes God to accept you, and that includes the renewing of your mind. And if you are not participating in the process; you are not even in grace. You are in delusion because you do not respond to God’s Spirit. So will I choose their delusions, because, when I called, no one answered, (Isa 66:4) God is calling you to obedience. Since therefore it remains that some must enter it, and those to whom it was first preached did not enter because of disobedience There remains therefore a rest for the people of God. (Heb4:6,9) And He is calling you to “perfection.” Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. (Col 1:28) And He is calling you to holiness “without which no one will see the Lord.” (Heb12:14) But as He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1Pet1:15-16) Of course you can say, “I am called to Christ,” for everything you are called to is found in Christ. “Christ in you is the hope of glory” because if He is in you He will produce His holiness in you. And holiness produces behavior that is completely righteous. Because if you have been made holy everything you do will be righteous.

When we see unrighteous behavior in a “believer;” careless, unloving, unconcerned, inconsiderate; this is the opposite of Christ. And it does not matter that you claim you are a Christian, if your behavior is not like Christ you are not His. (Rom8:9) So you will be judged according to your behavior, not for the fact that you claim to be a believer. (Rom 2:6) This is what Jesus teaches. He does not accept that someone believes in Him if that person buries his talent. (Matt25:25-30) If the so-called believer behaves like an unbeliever, he gets the reward of an unbeliever. And it is a dreadful situation in so many “churches” today that they have based their salvation on a presumption that Jesus is in them because they are saved, when they ought to be seeing that they are not saved unless they can demonstrate that Jesus is in them; and they need to examine themselves to find out if He is really there. Examine yourselves and see whether Christ is in you. (2Cor13:5) For if Christ is not in you, you are disqualified, and you are not His. (Rom8:9) If you have the Spirit of Christ, “as He is so are we in this world.” (1Jn5:17) If we have the Spirit of Christ we will not behave in ways that need to be continually rebuked; in ways that are dangerous or troublesome, or inconsiderate to others. If you have the Spirit of Christ everything you do will be done in love; you are provoking one another to love and good works, not to sin. And the biblical “shoulds” and the “oughts” are all consistent with the behavior of Christ. So whenever we are caught in a sin and we find out we are not behaving as a real Christian we must repent and ask the Lord to give us grace so we can live up to His call.

Look how the Lord has worked in “My Father’s House” when not so long ago we did not have prophecies. But we saw in 1st Corinthians 14 that if we are real Christians we should desire to prophesy for the edification of the church. So what did we do? We called upon the Lord, asked for the gift of prophecy, and prophecies began to come. Now we are even seeing our people prophesying in song and in rhyme. This is the power of the Spirit to answer the prayers of the saints: to bring forth what you are praying for when what we ask is according to His will. He is demonstrating His power and His presence when we ask Him to do scriptural things and He does them. Then we have had the testimonies of how often things come out that are revealing secrets in the hearts, things which only God could know. (1Cor14:25) This is again a proof of the supernatural presence of God. Jesus says, “Everyone who asks receives, seeks finds, and knocks it is opened unto him.” (Matt7:8) He says if your heart is towards Him and you abide in Him and His words abide in you; you can ask what you will and He will do it. (Jn15:7) So if you see that you have areas where you are slipping, ask God to help you to stay in the Spirit and be serious about it. Expect Him to give you the grace to watch and pray; the grace to stop clowning around and falling into the flesh or returning to your old patterns of carnal behavior. These are things you did before you came to Christ, and if you go back to such behavior it’s because you’ve forgotten you were “saved.” (2Pet1:9) Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame. (1Cor15:34) Your mind must be renewed so you don’t behave that way anymore. And if you behave that way in “My Father’s House” you’ll be rebuked and you may be embarrassed, because we’re not going to be kind to your “old man.” He does not deserve kindness. The “old man” crucified Jesus; he doesn’t deserve sympathy. When the “old man” pops up, you smack him down. He deserves no pity because he has no pity on others. The “old man” is always selfish. When I see the “old man” in a “saint,” I am grieved. When I see the “new man” it rejoices my heart. We rejoice to see Christ in the believers, but it’s awful to see the “old man.” And that is the way it is with God too. So we’re laboring that you’d be established in the “new man,” that Christ will always be the one in control. The goal is to be established in Christ.

Recently you saw how I interrupted the service to minister a special need to Ms K. God did not “speak” to me to do that, but Christ’s compassion in my heart moved me to do that. It isn’t “words” usually that are guiding us, but it’s the love of Jesus in the believer’s heart. It’s the love of Jesus in your heart that looks to do things in a way that won’t be harmful to others. Love watches out for their safety. It’s not necessarily Jesus telling you, “Do not do that.” When Jesus is in your heart, your heart will show you what could be harmful to someone so you won’t do that.” Without using “words” the Spirit can give you the understanding of the right things to do. When you’re doing wrong things – it’s a heart problem; you’re not seeing the danger to others; you’re indulging your flesh in what you want to do. That flesh will kill you if you do not crucify it; and that is what we are teaching you. In the process of putting on Christ you must crucify your flesh so your flesh can’t interfere with or ever crucify Jesus again which would destroy your salvation. (Heb6:4-6) Where so-called “believers” are ignorant of these things, when the truth comes, if they’re real Christians, they’ll repent and come into the greater light. But where they’re offered light and they refuse that’s like when God called they would not answer. (Is66:4) “And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” (Jn3:19-20) And we’ve seen this in many Baptists and false christians where we and God offer them truth and many things are shown to them to be clearly of the scriptures and yet they close their ears and refuse to hear. So God says, I will choose their delusions, and bring their fears on them; (Is66:4) And The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thes2:9-12) Isaiah and Paul are very much in agreement as to what God will do to people who reject His truth. The Old Testament and the New are saying the same things.

Now, what is the truth? It is God’s Word; what God is speaking. And what do you see in Isaiah? “When I called they would not answer, when I spoke they would not hear.” “And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.” (Jer16:12) Now the dictates of their evil hearts include deceptions and deceits which they find more attractive than truth. Just as they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations, (Is66:3) They find pleasure in deceits while God’s truth is not pleasing to them. If they loved the truth they would listen to the truth, but since they love deceits, God sends them strong deceit. And that strong delusion will destroy them. When truth comes to the righteous; it causes them to feel guilty for their sins and so to remove the “pain” of that guilt the righteous will repent and stop sinning. But when the truth causes the wicked to feel guilty like they have to stop sinning and doing the things that their flesh likes to do, they are not willing to stop. So to remove the pain of their guilt they turn away from the convicting truth to lies that comfort them in their sin and cause them to think they are ok while they sin.

The wicked want to feel saved while they are sinning. So they develop a theology of lies that says it’s ok to sin and you are still saved while you sin. And that is the heretical theology of the Baptist church; a church filled with lies designed to assuage the guilt of sinners who are too wicked to turn from their sins. Truly the Baptists are a church of satan – a brood of vipers, children of lies; a church of tares. They answered and said to Him, “Abraham is our father." Jesus said to them, "If you were Abraham's children, you would do the works of Abraham.” “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it. But because I tell the truth, you do not believe Me.” (Jn8:39,44-45) When someone “believes” he is saved in spite of the fact that he is sinning, there is a terrible misinterpretation of scripture in that; he is believing a lie and greatly deceived. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. (2Thes2:9-10) And it is certainly an “unrighteous deception” to think Jesus has come to save you in your sin, instead of saving you from your sin by turning you away from sin. “To open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” (Acts26:18) Nevertheless the solid foundation of God stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His,” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” (2Tim2:19) We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. (1Jn5:18) So if God is trying to tell such a person the truth and he does not want to hear it, it must be because he does not want to stop sinning. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Thes2:11-12) Because false brethren don’t want to stop sinning, but want to feel “saved” while they sin, they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. (2Tim4:4) So they love the lie, build altars to the lie, build their “church” around the lie. And they worship the “anti-christ” who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God. (2Thes2:4)

Now there is one context in which strong delusion is prophetic concerning the end time tribulation when the wicked will believe the antichrist is God. But this lesson isn’t just concerning the end time tribulation because, for example, the Baptists believe the antichrist is God right now. They already believe that they can continue to sin and still be saved, that they can walk in the flesh, love the world, be covetous, be fornicators, do all these nasty things that God tells us we must not do and still go to Heaven. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. (Eph5:5-6) They are believing what the serpent said to Eve, “You can eat from the tree and not die.”

The Baptists have built their church around the lie that you can continue to partake of sin and still be saved. They are worshiping the serpent who sits as God in the temple of God telling them he is God and they can do such things contrary to the Word of God. So their churches are “serpentariums.” Jesus calls such people “a brood of vipers.” (Matt23:33) The antichrist is already controlling them and they are already under strong delusion. The truth is, a Baptist who is sinning is harder to save than a heathen. The heathen knows he is sinning and needs to repent, but the Baptist does not know he needs to repent because he has a strong delusion that he is saved even in his sin. These people are religious. They are bringing sacrifices, but God hates their sacrifices because they won’t listen to Him and stop sinning. So such a “religion” doesn’t save them. God will save publicans and harlots, and He’ll let Pharisees go to hell. (Matt21:31-32) So the strong delusion of Thessalonians is not just the antichrist – 666 – who is coming in the future, but the strong delusion is upon all these people who think they are saved right now when Jesus isn’t in them. They say Jesus is in them because they’re saved because “people who are saved must have Jesus in them.” But the first thing they should do is check to see if Jesus is really in them before they “believe” they’re “saved.” Because if Jesus is not in them they’re believing a lie when they say they’re saved. Then they attach another lie to the lie that “they are saved,” and they wrongly believe Jesus is in them. So they turn the scriptures inside-out. Because in believing the first lie and then the next soon everything true in the Scriptures is being manipulated by them to where they can explain it away.

At one time the Lord led me to investigate the Macarthur commentaries. He’s a “Once Saved\Always Saved” fanatic fairly famous in some circles. His commentary on Hebrews is pathetic, virtually a black comedy. Macarthur reads Hebrews as though Hebrews is an enemy to him – because it is. There are so many things in Hebrews that come against “Once Saved\Always Saved” that when Macarthur tries to explain the book he has to literally attack every chapter to prove it doesn’t mean what it says or it will expose his lying doctrine. What a pathetic state of demonic blindness this “champion” of the Baptists displays in that he must fight so viciously against the Word of God in order to maintain his “doctrine.” When I read the book of Hebrews I can sit back and relax and enjoy God’s Word because I am not fighting with it; it does not offend me. I do not have to wrestle with the verses. I can listen to Hebrews freely and it feeds me. When Macarthur reads his “Bible” he has to go to war with everything in the Bible that disagrees with his doctrine. And that’s a lot! He probably wishes the book of Hebrews wasn’t in the Bible. So he defends his heretical beliefs and his idolatrous doctrine by fighting against God’s Word. And yet these foolish Baptists say he’s a great man of God and an expert on the scriptures. How stupid!

Now, when you say “strong delusion” what do you think that is? How strong is Macarthur’s delusion? He thinks he’s “saved” when he fights against God’s Word. You can’t get a much stronger delusion than that. Real Christians are “of the truth.” (1Jn3:19) The truth abides in us. (2Jn2) And we are “fellow workers for the truth.” (3John 8) And “no lie is of the truth.” (1Jn2:21) Macarthur is not of the truth but of the lie – he is a fellow worker for the lie and the devil. (Jn8:44) He will not listen to what God says. If God disagrees with what he “believes” he won’t have it. Macarthur won’t receive the truth. Even when it’s God’s Word if it disagrees with his “church” he won’t listen to it. So concerning the Baptists any verse in the Bible that doesn’t agree with their heretical doctrine, they make up a lie about it and try to explain it away by saying, for example, that “this is not talking to believers because believers cannot lose their salvation. So, God must be talking to unbelievers here.” So it is not a warning to believers when God says, “If we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” (Heb10:26-27) So we don’t have to pay attention to that verse because we can’t lose our salvation so it must be talking to unbelievers. Really? Did God write the book of Hebrews and send it to the sinners, the brothels, and to be read in the bars? No, He sent it to the “believers” in the Hebrew church. The letter of Hebrews was written to believers. The verse that preceded “if we sin willfully” is not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (v25) Hebrews speaks to believers. The pronoun the writer uses is “if we sin willfully” not if “you unbelievers” but “we believers.” It is ridiculous the lies these wicked Baptist serpents make up to support their heresies.

The Bible, including Hebrews, was written to believers, to teach believers how they should behave if they want to make progress in salvation and be saved. This Hebrews 10:26-27 passage is there because Once Saved\Always Saved is not true. And what you are to do when you come to Jesus is make Him Lord, believe what He says, and let Him work in you to transform you until you are just like Him; until you are established in His love; until you are established in His Word; until your behavior is consistent in all ways with His behavior and until He does not have to rebuke you anymore; until being like Jesus is automatic to you, and your mind has been renewed and Christ in you is your hope of glory. When His Spirit is truly in you, you see things other people do not see and you are walking in a light that those without Christ do not walk in. For example, you are walking in love, continually watching out for the interests of the brethren; doing all for the glory of God. Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1Cor10:31) And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma. (Eph5:2) And you can never be found indulging your selfish flesh, or doing anything inconsistent with the way Jesus would do it. He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked. (1Jn2:6) And you are to put off that old carnal behavior or you’ll not be saved, and that means you will recognize it and crucify it. And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Gal 5:24) So if you are rebuked by a true brother in Christ you won’t brush that rebuke off as though it doesn’t mean anything. A righteous rebuke is telling you something serious; it’s saying you are not behaving like Jesus. When you aren’t behaving like Jesus you’re not of God; you’re not His. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. (Rom8:9) And to not be His is a very serious thing and you need to correct it or you will perish in your sin.

So, what is the great delusion around us today? People think they are saved when they are not; they think Jesus is in them when we can prove to them He isn’t by their behavior. Thank God that you have been delivered from that strong delusion, because the people who are in these churches who are caught in this delusion are not only not saved but they are harder to save than the heathen. Whereas an unbeliever does not have this lie in his way, so he knows he’s a lost sinner; these “false believers” don’t know they are lost. They don’t think it matters that they are sinners if they are also “believers.” “I am a sinner saved by grace. Believing “sanctifies” my sin so I can sin and still be saved.” God is so offended with this! For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude1:4)

You can’t “sanctify sin,” that would be the same as sanctifying the devil. Sin has to be repented of – turned away from. “But rise and stand on your feet; for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to make you a minister and a witness both of the things which you have seen and of the things which I will yet reveal to you. I will deliver you from the Jewish people, as well as from the Gentiles, to whom I now send you, to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.’ Therefore, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, but declared first to those in Damascus and in Jerusalem, and throughout all the region of Judea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent, turn to God, and do works befitting repentance.” (Acts26:16-20) Notice the believers must turn away from satan meaning “sin” and do works that prove their repentance. “Behold, you trust in lying words that cannot profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, burn incense to Baal, and walk after other gods whom you do not know, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We are delivered to do all these abominations’? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the LORD. (Jer7:8-11)

One thing that is obvious concerning this is nobody is innocent in their ignorance. These “Baptists” all have Bibles. Anyone of them could read what Jesus says and see that there is something wrong with the way the Baptist people are claiming to be Christians. If the Holy Spirit was anywhere near them His truth would be convicting them, “You are not doing right.” Now this is absolutely certain, the Holy Spirit was there at one time and He tried to tell them, and they would not listen. That is what the Bible says. God called, they would not answer. He did not just call once, He called often but they wouldn’t answer. So finally, He just left them to their own delusions, even putting them under strong delusion. Because they wouldn’t listen to His voice, they’ll be destroyed. “So will I choose their delusions, and bring their fears on them; because, when I called, no one answered, when I spoke they did not hear; but they did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.” (Is66:4) “Therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.” (Is65:12)

Now true Christianity is not found in mere theological “doctrine” but it is found in the “hearing of faith.” This only I want to learn from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (Gal 3:2,5) Jesus says His sheep hear His voice. There is nothing more important than listening to God’s voice. The people who don’t listen to His voice will be destroyed; they always end up listening to their own imaginations; they always end up following a lie that leads them to destruction. If you hope to avoid this strong delusion and destruction, you must “hear God” and to “hear God” and obey God is the essence of what it means to “fear God.” And the fear of the Lord is wisdom. (Job28:28) And the Bible has much to say about the value and virtues of wisdom, and how necessary it is for our salvation that we attain to God’s wisdom. Wisdom calls aloud outside; she raises her voice in the open squares. Because I have called and you refused, I have stretched out my hand and no one regarded, I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your terror comes, “Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently, but they will not find me. Because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD,” (Pr1:20,24,26,28-29) When you compare this passage to “Therefore I will number you for the sword, and you shall all bow down to the slaughter; because, when I called, you did not answer; when I spoke, you did not hear, but did evil before My eyes, and chose that in which I do not delight.” (Is65:12) it is plain to see that wisdom is the voice of God. So wisdom is the Word of God; wisdom is Jesus; He is made unto us wisdom. (1Cor1:30) For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding; (Pr2:6) Wisdom was there when God laid the foundations of the creation. “The LORD possessed me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old. I have been established from everlasting, from the beginning, before there was ever an earth. When He prepared the heavens, I was there, when He drew a circle on the face of the deep, When He assigned to the sea its limit, so that the waters would not transgress His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth, Then I was beside Him as a master craftsman; and I was daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him, (Pr8:22-23,27,29-30) Jesus is the Master architect. What the Father wants to build; Jesus makes the plan to build it. Then the Holy Spirit, the power of God, puts the building together according to Christ’s plan. The Holy Spirit is the bricklayer; Jesus is the architect. Father God is the originator. The Father says, “I am going to build Me a house.” Jesus responds, “I will get you a good plan,” then the Holy Spirit puts it together. Now, you see, the Holy Spirit is following the wisdom of the architect isn’t He. The architect is following the desire of the Father, the originator. The architect is the one who has the wisdom to know how to perfectly fulfill the desire of the Father. So Jesus has always been there. He is the wisdom of God. God has always had wisdom. So Jesus has been there from forever, and without God’s wisdom we would perish.

“For he who sins against me wrongs his own soul; all those who hate me love death.” Keep my commands and live, and my law as the apple of your eye. Say to wisdom, “You are my sister,” and call understanding your nearest kin, That they may keep you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words. Her house is the way to hell, descending to the chambers of death. My son, pay attention to my wisdom; lend your ear to my understanding, That you may preserve discretion, and your lips may keep knowledge. For the lips of an immoral woman drip honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil; But in the end she is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go down to death, her steps lay hold of hell. When wisdom enters your heart and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, discretion will preserve you; understanding will keep you, to deliver you from the way of evil, from the man who speaks perverse things, to deliver you from the immoral woman, from the seductress who flatters with her words, who forsakes the companion of her youth, and forgets the covenant of her God. For her house leads down to death, and her paths to the dead; none who go to her return, nor do they regain the paths of life. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD and depart from evil. The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked, but He blesses the home of the just. The wise shall inherit glory, but shame shall be the legacy of fools. (Pr8:36;7:2,4-5,27;5:1-5;2:10-12,16-19;3:7,33,35) Salvation is not just Christ atoning for your sins. Salvation is your attaining to wisdom by Christ in you. You need to get a hold of Jesus; you need to get Jesus’ wisdom into your heart and mind so that you are not doing foolish things that will destroy you.

Now, children are known for foolishness, but you have to get out of foolishness and into wisdom if you are to be saved. That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head-- Christ-- (Eph4:14-15) You must grow up, put away childish things. To save you Jesus must become your wisdom. Fools are not saved. The foolish virgins perish. (Matt25:12) It is plain to see that anyone who professes to be a “Christian” but behaves foolishly does not have Christ in them and their salvation is bogus. The Bible, even the New Testament, is full of “shoulds” and “oughts” and many such things. And everything the scriptures say we should do is an admonishment as to how to behave the way that Jesus would; how to behave in the way that is consistent with having Jesus in you. For you cannot have a true faith that He is in you unless your behavior shows He is in you.

So all of this has profound importance to us, and it is a continuous study; we must keep doing this until the Lord comes, or until we are perfected. So the work of the perfecting of the saints is to look at the things that we should be doing and then praying in faith that God will give us the grace to do them. When we prayed for prophecy, we got it. When we started praying for healings and miracles and such the Spirit began to move in that way. When we pray in faith, God answers. So why aren’t you praying about the things where you are falling short? God would answer you if you would pray. I am sure that if Mrs. V would have cried out for wisdom God would have answered her. The obvious thing is that she did not; the obvious thing is that she just went on trying to fix things herself. This is where the trouble comes from, she did not listen to God tell her what to do. God is telling you what to do, and if you’ll listen to Him and you start behaving accordingly; praying for what you need and then watching and believing you receive, He will perfect you. But if you have already asked God to do it and He has not done it then there must be something that you are missing that you are supposed to be doing. So, what do you think, you just pray and that’s it? Or is there something you ought to be doing to put Christ on? Are you pursuing righteousness? Or are you asking God to make you righteous without pursuing righteousness? If you are pursuing righteousness then you are taking steps of faith. You must be doing things like reading your Bible, reading the “Glory of His Grace” books. You must get to where you know and you understand what righteous behavior is. And you can’t just read to read, you must read to really learn, “How can I be like Jesus?” God’s Word has to be believed in a way that changes you, not just gives you some knowledge in your head. It has to change the way you believe about things and behave about things; it has to change the things that you like to do – where you stop enjoying foolishness. I’ve seen some of you and I’ve seen you like to act foolish. I see it on your face when you do it; you are enjoying it. You are getting attention by it and it pleases some silly thing in your flesh when people laugh at you or even are offended with your foolish behavior. Either way you have their attention. And what you are doing is you are stealing glory – taking glory from God in receiving attention for your foolishness. Why should you enjoy something Jesus does not like? Why should you enjoy acting foolish when it is an abominable thing to God to do that? You are made in the image of God. Why is it funny to you to defile that image?

Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1Cor10:31) You have to stop liking things that God does not like; you have to change what you like to what He likes. Well, there is the crucifying of flesh in that, isn’t there? There is the necessity of putting that carnal thing down, and not letting it rule over you. Now, does that sound like a new doctrine or is that what the Bible has been talking about all along? Is it a strange new doctrine here when Jesus says, “Deny yourself, pick up your cross, crucify your flesh, put on the new man, put off the old man?” Is that some strange new doctrine or is this exactly what you have been hearing all along? It is exactly what you have been hearing, but you have not been doing, isn’t it? And this is the point, Jesus said from the beginning it is not the hearers that will get into heaven, it is the doers. (Matt7:21) Now you better get wise and start doing. Stop these foolish games and indulgences and letting your flesh run things. You need to get that flesh nailed on the cross; nail it down and do not let it get up. That is what all the admonishments in the scriptures, all of the shoulds and the oughts are about; every one of them has something to do with getting the Spirit in control and putting the flesh on the cross. For example: Should you not also have had compassion (pity) on your fellow servant, just as I had pity on you?’ (Matt18:33) Should you not also have pity on somebody who comes to you and wants mercy? Should you not treat them the way I treated you? And of course the answer is, “Yes, you should.” So they went out and preached that people should repent. (Mk6:12) And people should repent.

This is an interesting thing about the word repent, almost everywhere the Old King James uses “repent” in relation to God the New King James changes it to “relent.” I choose to use the NKJ because of the problems with the Eclectic Greek text. When Westcott and Hort came out with their own version of the Greek text which they called the Eclectic Greek text they derived it from the “Vaticanus” and the “Sinaticus,” two throw away Greek manuscripts that had so many errors in them they were considered garbage. And, in fact, they were found on garbage heaps outside of monasteries. Obviously they’d been transcribed by drunken monks. But Westcott and Hort wanted something that they could use to play around with the scriptures. They knew they couldn’t alter translated scriptures unless they had an alternate Greek source. They had to be able to tell people, “This is what the original source is, and our source is better than yours.” So their argument was, “Our Greek text is older than your Greek text.” It may have been older at that time, but it is not anymore; but theirs was a bad source, and people are too blinded to know it so Westcott and Hort came out with a much altered Greek Bible which they called the “Eclectic Greek Text;” and this was used as a foundation for “new” versions of the English Bible. NIV is one of them; American Standard is another. So we are not interested in using these bibles. Although the King James is fairly accurate, there are some translator errors. And the language of the Old King James is just too ancient. So we cannot continue to force that language on the people. That would be the same sin as the catholic church trying to make people listen to services in Latin when the people no longer know the language. “When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside.” (Matt13:19) So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air. Therefore, if I do not know the meaning of the language, I shall be a foreigner to him who speaks, and he who speaks will be a foreigner to me. (1Cor14:9,11) To do the hearer any good God’s Word has to be understood. So, how can you justify using the Old King James when people no longer understand the language? Do you think the King James language is holy? The meaning of the original Greek Hebrew texts, unaltered and spiritually understood, is what we need from the scriptures. And the Holy Spirit is here to help us get the whole truth out of the Bible. And if we are diligent we can get the truth out of the scripture. So to attain both a reasonable accuracy and an understandable language, I’ve chosen the New King James.

But concerning the New King James, I do not have much respect for the people who translated it. I see a lot of problems. The translators came out of the modern “church,” of course, and so they are privy to all of the problems in the modern “church.” And if, for example, we look at the word “repent” what do you see in the New King James? Every place the OKJ uses, “And God repented” it now says, “relented.” You know why? Because some of the modern translators were obsessed with the verse, “God is not a man that He should ‘repent.’” (Num23:19) Well, let’s go back to one of the first places you see God repent. God “repented” that He made man. (Gen6:6) Can you translate that, “God relented?” No, you cannot. The same Hebrew word “nacham” is used in both verses “Gen6:6 and Num23:19” so what is the problem? Repentance is a simple word that means “to turn.” God turns quite often; when circumstances change, God turns. He made man expecting man to be a blessing to Him, a joy to Him; and man became a grave sorrow and grief to Him, so He repented that He made man. There is no “sin” in that. It’s not like “man’s” repenting for sin. It was man’s sin that caused God to turn (repent) and bring the flood upon men, not God’s.

On the other hand, God may promise that He’ll destroy Nineveh in forty days, but Nineveh repented; they turned away from their sin. Well, God then can look upon Nineveh and say, “I do not have to destroy them, they have changed. So I will repent and I will turn away from destroying them.” There is nothing wrong with the word “repent” concerning God. It is not a “sin” when God repents and it does not diminish God’s character in seeing that He sometimes “repents.” What causes man to repent begins with conviction; you have to be convicted you have sinned. Well, God is not a man that He should be convicted of sin. His repentance when He repents is not because He sinned. God repents because it is the right thing to do when circumstances have changed; it is righteous for Him to change His reaction to the changed circumstances. When you repent it is because you can see circumstances need to change for you if God is going to change towards you. When you can see your sin and turn away from it, then God can see your repentance and turn away from His wrath and that is what repentance is. So how silly are these “translators” of the NKJ? They don’t understand the English meaning of repent properly – how can they “translate” the Greek or Hebrew? Well, we are looking at “men should repent.” Yes, they should. Churches around us should repent; there is a grave need of repentance right now. And if men would repent God could repent of the judgments He will send upon them. That is what salvation is: a man repents – so God can repent towards that man and not destroy him for his sin.

“But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!” (Lk12:5) Most “churches” don’t fear God. They claim to believe in Jesus, but they disregard the scriptures where Jesus says, “If your hand offends you cut it off.” (Matt5:30) They can’t believe Jesus actually meant that. So, they make something up to cover the fact that He said that. Some of the things they say is, “ Well, that is Old Testament. Jesus was talking to the Old Testament people.” And how can you reconcile “cut off the hand that offends” with “Once Saved/Always Saved?” If we are Once Saved/Always Saved we don’t have to cut the hand off that offends. Now, “Isn’t it cruel how Pastor Bill cast Mrs. N. out of the church?” A local so-called “christian” school held a discussion about how I am the meanest pastor in town, because I cast Mrs. N. out of “My Father’s House” church! Well Mrs. N. was unbaptized, and she was a bigmouthed, prideful woman who came into the church, and disrupted the service. She refused to get baptized so we never even considered her a real Christian but she was very opinionated and became nasty at interrupting the services concerning anything she disagrees with. So I removed her from the church and told her she couldn’t come back if she didn’t repent. Then she tried to come back and I said, “Are you ready to repent? and she said, “You ought to repent to me.” So I permanently removed her. And then another pastor across town received her into his church as though she was a wonderful Christian sister – welcomed her with open arms. What foolishness these “churches” practice – they don’t know the first thing about Jesus. Now I’m the meanest pastor in town because I cut off an unrepentant offending person who wasn’t even a baptized member of Christ. What would Jesus do? Why is it the churches around us even when they are seeing the real Jesus, they can’t believe it’s Him? They can’t believe He’s serious when He says, “Cut off the offending member.” Jesus never says a word He’s not serious about. They can’t believe He’s serious when He says, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matt10:28)

The real Jesus is not like the “Jesus” these people around us are “believing” in. They think their Jesus didn’t really mean we should cut off that offending member, and we do not need to fear God. God won’t hurt us.” “Well, Jesus may not mean literally you need to cut off your hand, but wouldn’t you think that you would rather cut off your sin than cut off your hand.” That is the choice then, either cut off the sin or cut off your hand. So how serious is this? Then you have the “once saved/always saved” people saying, “It does not matter if I sin, anyone who believes in Jesus has eternal life.” So now, you have an interpretation of scripture that disagrees with Jesus because Jesus says you better cut that offending hand off. And if you don’t want to cut it off, then you better cut the sin off. And the real Jesus is serious about this; you better stop your sinning. That is the real Jesus; I am preaching the real Jesus. What we generally have around us is people who claim to worship the Jesus of the Bible, but what Jesus says in the Bible they ignore; and yet they still claim that they are believers. How foolish!

Now if Jesus says to cut the offensive hand off and you ignore Him isn’t that fulfilling, “When I called they did not answer?” (Is66:4) Or, “And you have done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me.” (Jer16:12) What is the imagination they are walking in? “That I am saved if I believe Jesus is the Son of God even if I ignore Him and disobey His Words. Even if I do not cut the sin off I am saved anyway. Because all I have to believe is that Jesus is the Son of God and profess that, and I am saved even if I do not obey Him! So I do not have to be concerned about all this other stuff that the Bible tells us to do because that is not required for salvation.” That is how they say it, “Not a requirement for your salvation.” Now, that is delusion, that is very strong delusion. It is a requirement for your salvation that you do what Jesus says. That is what it means to believe in Him. What did Moses say about Jesus? “For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet (in all things) shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’” (Acts3:22-23) If you do not hear Him you are the hand that is going to be cut off Christ’s body. That is what Moses said. Now, if you do not believe Moses, Jesus says, “How are you going to believe My words?” (Jn5:46-47) So obviously we have people today who don’t believe Moses, and they don’t believe Jesus even when Jesus talks about Himself. Then they claim they are saved based on some imagination. Well, they are not saved and they will sadly find that out when the Lord comes, but it will be too late for them then. And right now God is trying to warn them through us, but if they will not hear Moses, they won’t hear us.

“Believers” so-called who do not read the Bible are in gross negligence and willful ignorance concerning the things of God; and that is a terrible sin. But if they do read their Bible then they have encountered these verses, which are God’s Word telling them what they are required to do; but they haven’t listened. And that is obviously true. They claim to believe in Jesus yet they reject His words, and in fact, you will find that most of these so-called “believers” do not like to read the Bible. It bothers them to read the Bible. They don’t get joy out of reading the Bible, because when they read the Bible it makes them feel like there is something wrong with them. And there is. So instead of reading the Bible, they will listen to a lying preacher who tells them everything is okay, “Peace and safety. The Bible doesn’t mean what it says.” And they don’t listen to God who is trying to tell them it is not okay.

So these people don’t have the Word of God in them, and there is no eternal life in them; they are not brethren, and whatever they are basing any sense of salvation on is a delusion. The point is that if they have Bibles and refuse to read them, what is the chance of you telling them what the Bible says and they are going to listen to you and love you for it? These people could listen to God themselves. They know what is in the Bible, they know Jesus said these things; but they just do not like to think about it. So what is going to make them listen to you when you speak? The reason they don’t listen to God is they don’t want to. We are of God. He who knows God hears us; he who is not of God does not hear us. By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error. (1Jn4:6) They like to be deceived. They don’t like the truth. The truth is right there for them. If they loved the truth they would be digging into it. When I met God, the first thing I did was buy a Bible and read it and read it and read it. I mean, I turned off my TV and dug into that Bible and read it cover to cover. When Josiah found the Word of God he read it. When God’s true people have a real meeting with God they fall in love with God and they find His Word a delight, and they devour His Word. But these people hate God’s Word, and if they hate God’s Word they hate God; and if they hate God, Jesus said, “If they hate Me they are going to hate you.” (Jn15:18) And that’s the way it is. You go to these people who’ve had Bibles sitting on their coffee tables for years and have been going to church for years and yet don’t read their Bibles and you start telling them what the Bible says, they will hate you for it not love you. Because they have already quenched the Spirit in their life. They have already driven Him away because they wouldn’t listen to God’s Spirit. So why would they listen to you? The ones God may save are the truly ignorant; although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. (1Tim1:13) He’ll save those who never knew any better. Some have grown up in false churches where all they ever heard were heresies yet they have a sense that things aren’t right. Something inside them, a spark from God, says, “This can’t be true, something here is not right about the way things are working.”

Dear Pastor Taylor,

I am 34 years old and have been a believer in “Christ” for over 16 months now. In that time I’ve had some “wondrous” experiences with the Lord. He, by His Grace and mercy, has delivered me from numerous sinful activities such as cigarette smoking, cursing, prejudice, vain TV, rock & roll music, etc. And I give Him all the praise and glory! He is a very patient and forgiving God. Especially to choose me, for I was a wretched man!

I’ve also had some really extraordinary supernatural experiences in prayer! I believe I received a “baptism in the Spirit” in Jan 2003 and I know that I love the Lord with all my heart. As I said all of this is very new to me. But also very real! I’d been attending services at the prison I was at, but my spirit just was not getting fed. I couldn’t understand why I was not fitting in. They were for the most part Baptist ministries and they taught “once saved always saved” and it just didn’t make sense to me. I also would feel as I was judging people, because they offended me when they would walk out of chapel and light a cigarette or start cussing and then say they were Christians! And they’re always fighting and doing very ungodly things. I was on the waiting list for a Christian program there, but, now I’m thinking differently. The Lord has shown me they weren’t of Him! But until now I wasn’t understanding. I was even attacked by a wicked man and beaten very badly for telling him he was not of God. He said Jesus was a man and nothing else. Anyways, I have come to meet Mr. J here and he’s been sharing with me “My Father’s House” publications and they’ve been a real blessing. I’d been crying out to God to show me what was going on. I knew inside that I wasn’t on the right track. And by His having mercy “He” brought Mr. J into my life with your ministry. At first I was skeptical because it’s so different than anything they’re teaching out there. But after some guidance through the Bible and a couple of rebukes from Brother J and a lot of prayer, it’s all coming together for me and I “praise God” that He’s bringing me to a knowledge of the truth. It’s been about a week that I’ve been reading the “Glory of His Grace.” And the Bible has really opened up to me. Thank You, Jesus.

This is the “true gospel.” It all fits together now. The way the Holy Spirit has worked through you and your church is “awesome!”  And I praise God for you! I’m seeing that I cannot be obedient to the Lord and be involved in these apostate churches. I realize that I may have to even stand alone for Christ. And I’m prepared to do whatever it takes to be obedient to His call. Pastor, the Lord told me that He’s called me for a great purpose. I don’t know what that is yet. But I believe Him. He’s done so much for me and I love Him with all that I know to love Him with. Yes, I still make mistakes, but I have faith in Christ that He will deliver me from sin forever. And I must stay on this path. He by His great grace has brought me to a crossroad in my life. I don’t have anymore chances. I have to choose life and that life only comes one way! Jesus Christ and the truth of His gospel. I do realize the costs. And I’m willing to lay down my life if that’s His will. As you can tell by this letter, I’m not the smartest cat in the alley! But I am the most determined. I want to serve Christ with all my heart. And I need a true church to pray for me and help teach me. Will you send me some more of your “Glory of His Grace” publications that I may learn from and possibly give me someone to write to?  I can see that standing for the truth will be a difficult thing to do. I see how a lot of people will come against me! But I don’t care. People have to know the truth! And I must tell them! It’s my duty and obligation as a true Christian. I love my Lord Jesus, because He first loved me! And I have chosen to follow Him and worship Him for all eternity. And I see you and your church has also. I pray that your light shines brightly for all to see. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Love in Christ,

Bro. C

Like bro. C. the elect have a sense that something is wrong in the false christianity of today. And when the Holy Spirit comes to them in somebody who knows God rightly and shows them the truth, they blossom. These are the real children of God who when the truth is made known to them they are set free. They’ve always had a sense of the truth though they didn’t have enough understanding to free themselves. But concerning the wicked, if you’re expecting them to respond to you when they didn’t respond to God, then your expectations are unreal. Such people have rejected God many times in the past, and it is not ignorance that is their problem; the problem for most of them is they don’t want to give up their unrighteous pleasures, their carnal habits, their fleshly ways. So they make up false doctrines to excuse their sins and say they are saved when they still have not crucified their flesh. That’s the big lie, the false religion, the strong delusion to think you’re saved when you’re not doing all Jesus says you need to do to be saved. And you see how it goes on right here. In some of you people, we have to deal with your flesh regularly. Because you really don’t fear God, you don’t fear hell. You want to keep indulging yourselves in your own ways of doing things and you don’t see the seriousness of not abiding in Christ. I pray God gets through to you so you don’t turn into a “Baptist;” someone who thinks you’re going to Heaven even while you indulge your flesh. Because God’s honest truth is, you won’t go to Heaven until you crucify your flesh. And you better get to it now, because the longer you take to crucify it the stronger it is, and the harder it gets to crucify it. You do it now and it will be easier for you the rest of your life, but don’t let your flesh run away with you. If Jesus is in you, He reigns; He reigns over sin, He reigns over flesh. He showed that He reigned over flesh in His own body. If He is in you, He will give you the victory and reign over flesh in you. Who you serve, you are that one’s slave. (Rom6:16) If you’re a real Christian, you’ve been crucified with Jesus, you’ve been crucified to the world, you’ve been crucified to the body of sin and you’re now serving righteousness. (Rom 6:1-6) That’s what the Bible says.

When we look at you we have to see that. If we don’t see it we know that what the Bible says about a real Christian is not speaking of you. So that’s a serious thing because if Christ isn’t in you, then you don’t have a hope of glory. But if Christ is in you, you’ll be putting to death the deeds of the body, you’ll be crucifying the flesh with its passions and desires, you’ll be renewing your mind, you’ll be living a life that is consistent with Christ’s life; as He is so are we in this world. (Rom12:1-2;1Jn4:17) And you’ll be reigning over the things that rule over unbelievers; the beggarly elements. (Gal 4:9) And you can’t expect that you can be giving in to these fleshly spirits, these beggarly elements of temper, lust, or whatever, and then sickness comes and you can rebuke it and it is going to leave. Understand? If you want to stay healthy, you better be reigning over all the devils, or that one devil you don’t reign over will bring something in that you can’t handle. So get serious about Jesus being Lord in you at all times. We are after a continual walk in the Spirit. Who should you fear? God! And if you fear God then you should not be indulging in sin or flesh or carnal things.

Then He spoke a parable to them, that men always ought to pray and not lose heart, (Lk18:1) I have prayed for you that your faith should not fail; (Lk22:32) Those who pray for God to do something righteous and who are in right standing with God, should never give up until the answer comes. Remember the battle between Gabriel and the prince of Persia and how Daniel stayed in faith twenty-one days until the answer came. (Dan10) It says in that passage God heard Daniel from the first day he prayed. God hears! Our communication with God is perfect when we’re right with Him. But concerning His communication with us there are things that interfere. Because God’s message must come through this demonic realm, through areas inhabited by the prince of the power of the air, there are wicked spirits trying to stop the message from coming to us. They can’t stop the message from going out. They can’t interfere with God’s hearing. But they try to interfere with it coming back to us, because of our susceptibility to demonic hinderances due to our fallen nature. Devils interfere with our hearing. They are what Paul spoke of when he said “satan hindered me.” (1Thes2:18) And we have to fight the battle and hold on to our faith until God gets through; until His angels can overpower those hindering spirits. And what Christ is saying is, “Don’t give up!” Don’t let your faith fail just because there is a delay. The delay is coming from the devil. It isn’t because God is not answering you. Don’t ever think God is against you. God is with you; the answer is coming. If you are for Him, He is always for you and He’s promised that whatever you ask if you are abiding in Christ will be “yea and amen.” (2Cor1:20) So your answer will come. Remember Jesus says that men always ought to pray and not lose heart. (Lk18:1)

One characteristic of flesh is that it always brings an unacceptable offering. And if an offering is unacceptable to God; the offering is also unacceptable to true believers. Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.” And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’” (Lk4:5-8) When flesh or the devil makes an offering to God it is always something God will reject. And when the devil makes an offering to the saints so also it will always be something they must reject. You can see that in: By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going. By faith he dwelt in the land of promise as in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise; for he waited for the city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God. (Heb11:8-10) Jesus won’t accept it when satan offers Him the kingdoms of this world and Abraham won’t accept it when the devil offers him the cities of this world. And if you have the wisdom of God, you like Abraham will say, “This world is not acceptable. I’m looking for the city made by God, which is eternal.” You can see the same Spirit here in; These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. The saints won’t accept what the devil is offering for they know God has something better. For those who say such things declare plainly that they seek a homeland. We are seeking a permanent home. And truly if they had called to mind that country from which they had come out, they would have had opportunity to return. But now they desire a better, that is, a heavenly country. (Heb11:13-16) We desire a city whose builder and maker is God. I’m looking for the thing that God has for me not what this world or the devil has for me. God’s is an acceptable offering. What the world offers me is not something I want. Furthermore, if I were to accept the world’s temporary offerings I would lose that which I’m really looking for; the eternal blessings from God.

So By faith Moses, when he became of age, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter, choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin. (Heb11:24-25). What’s being offered by the devil is always “passing” pleasure, whereas God’s people are looking for a Kingdom that will last. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (Col 3:1-2) True Christians set their affections on the same things that Jesus’ heart is set on. His affections are not on the things of this world because they’re all crumbling. They’re made of dust, and they’re turning back to dust. Jesus is establishing a Kingdom that is permanent, eternal, made by God. The saints can see the difference in the quality. We can’t let the devil sell us his temporary junk; We’re waiting for the Heavenly treasure that will be an inheritance incorruptible. So if you claim to be of Christ open your eyes and set your affections on the things above. This worldly tinsel shouldn’t have any hold on you. If you’re a saint you can see through it. The temporal is nothing. Why would I sell my soul for a bowl of soup? My affections are set on the eternal birthright and I won’t give up my inheritance for satan’s trash!

In the world “there’s nothing so bitter as a woman scorned.” And the world is the woman scorned when we reject her. She offers us her treasures and we don’t want anything to do with them. Of course the world hates us. We despise the things the world delights in and what they use to control one another, to reward one another and to exalt one other. These beggarly elements (Gal 4:9) are how the worldly motivate themselves and they want to use them to motivate us and to control us, but we don’t receive their lies. They don’t have any power over true believers. That’s why they hate us. They have no power over us; but we in Christ have power over them to rebuke and expose them. So they’re in a position where they fear us because they can’t control us. And wicked people hate what they fear. That is why they hate God because they can’t control God. So we choose to reject the things of the world because we’ve chosen better things. And we won’t give up the better things for the lesser things. This is what it means to set your affections on things above. As long as you’re looking for the city made by God you won’t bow the knee to satan or take the bribes the world offers you. When you’re looking for the glory that comes from God, you can’t covet the glory that man offers. So set your affections on things above and turn away from the beggarly elements. You’re not demonstrating your authority to rule over the beggarly elements until you put them in their place and do something that shows that they don’t rule over you.

A simple example is when your appetite says it’s time to eat and you respond, “I’ll eat when I say so, not when you say so. My belly doesn’t tell me when to eat.” In the past, I’ve had problems with the boys needing to go to the bathroom in the middle of Bible study. Our Bible study is only an hour. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. (1Cor9:27) You tell your body when it is time to go to the bathroom. The body may tell you what it wants but you rule over it and you decide when it’s the right time. Your appetite is a beggarly element. I tell my body when to eat, I tell my body what to eat, and I tell my body when it’s a convenient time to go to the bathroom. I’m the one that runs things, not the body. What happens with people who haven’t crucified their flesh is every time the flesh pulls the cord and says, “I’m hungry” they obey and they run to eat. So the flesh is controlling them. The flesh may say, “It’s time to go to the bathroom.” But if you take a stand you’d find that if you’ll put up with the discomfort for a few minutes it will go away; and you can go another two hours without going to the bathroom. And if you’ll put up with the pain of being hungry for a few minutes it will go away, and you can pursue more important things. You can even fast several days and it wouldn’t hurt you. But the issue in overcoming beggarly elements is you don’t let them tell you what to do and when to do it; you tell them. That’s how you take control of your life away from the little demons. And until you do that, you don’t belong to Jesus. Because the beggarly elements are ruling you instead of Christ. This starts first thing in the morning. Do you eat because your belly tells you to eat, or do you eat when it’s the right time to eat? You must determine who’s in charge. Normally I’ll have a healthy time in prayer and Bible reading before I eat breakfast. And if I’m short of time I’ll choose to spend the time with God and skip breakfast altogether. Eating the food that endures to everlasting life is much more important than feeding my belly. (Jn6:27) The other side is, when you are at the table can you stop eating when your belly says, “Keep eating?” Can you tell your flesh, “I’ve had enough” when your belly is still saying, “I want more?” Because the true exercise of temperance is to say, “That’s enough” and stop when you know you have had enough. Wisdom controls you in Christ’s Spirit. You know you’re not starving and you know it’s not doing you any good to eat more than you already have. All of this comes down to who’s in charge. Does Jesus reign in you or flesh?

It’s easy to see the compassion of Jesus in things like He did in yesterday’s service for Ms. K. And the “churches” around us would say, “Yes, that’s Jesus. He’s so kind!” But what I’m telling you is what I did here with Mr. R. in exposing his sin and strongly reproving him was just as much Jesus as that kind act towards Ms. K. But most “churches” would say concerning what went on with Mr. R, is, “That was mean, that isn’t Jesus.” What I tell them is, your Jesus isn’t the real Jesus. Because the real Jesus won’t put up with hypocrisy in His house; He’ll not put up with flesh. The real Jesus won’t allow such foolishness in His presence. He showed that when He took the whip to the temple. Jesus in me exposes sin in the church! I have the real Jesus in me. I will behave wisely in a perfect way. Oh, when will You come to me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. I will set nothing wicked before my eyes; (wicked can mean worthless.) I hate the work of those who fall away; it shall not cling to me. (Apostates and heretics have fallen away from the truth. Real Christians can have nothing to do with them.) A perverse heart shall depart from me; (Jesus says if the sinner doesn’t repent let him be to you as a heathen or a publican – Matt18:17) I will not know wickedness. Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, him I will destroy; the one who has a haughty look and a proud heart, him I will not endure. My eyes shall be on the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; (only the “faithful” are to be in Christ’s church.) he who walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me. (You think Jesus will accept imperfection? This is Christ speaking through David.) He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; (Ps101:2-7)

This is the real Jesus; the Jesus of the Bible. Most “christians” have an imaginary Jesus, a misconception based on their own desires of what they wish Jesus to be. But Jesus can’t deny Himself. He can only be what He really is and can never be anything else. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. (Heb13:8) If you don’t have a true scriptural concept of Him – you don’t know Him at all. In Psalm 101 we see how Jesus hates sinners, slanderers, heretics, apostates, and deceivers. He’ll have nothing to do with deceit! It is a deceit when you say you can continue in sin and still go to Heaven. For this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. (Eph5:5-6) Did God give men eyes so we could lust for women? People who won’t let go of their sin always make up deceits and excuses for why they can sin and be “ok.” Jesus says, He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD. (Ps101:7-8) That is Jesus just as much as John 3:16. The compassions of Christ do not conflict with the justice and judgments of Christ. His righteousness sees a place where compassion is needed and He gives compassion, but He sees the place where judgment is needed and He gives judgment. People hate me because I’m so much like the real Jesus. “He who works deceit will not dwell in My church.” They can’t stand me, because they can’t stand the real Jesus; they want to believe in a “Jesus” who only does compassionate things because they don’t have to fear that kind of Jesus. They don’t have to put away their sins and their deceits and their excuses when they have this false “love” only Jesus that they’ve made up out of their own minds. They want to think that He won’t rebuke, won’t judge; that He only does nice things, and would never embarrass them or speak harshly to them. The real Jesus is King of kings and Lord of lords. He has all authority and He uses that authority to establish righteousness in the earth, that means He uses His authority to destroy evil, and correct what is wrong as would any great king. God has given the power of life and death to earthly authorities. (Rom13:1-6) Do you think He will not use it Himself? Jesus is the greatest of all kings and His authority is to be feared and respected because He does use it whether you like to believe it or not! But these false christians imagine their false Jesus to be of such a demeanor that He would never exercise His authority. As though He would hide under a bushel this great gift God has given Him; the authority to establish God’s Kingdom. But wicked christians want to believe in a Jesus that is “too nice” to do that so they don’t have to repent or fear God. And they want their “preachers” to pattern themselves after their false Jesus. No rebukes, no admonishments, no judgments, no reproofs, no uncovering sin and dealing with it, nor confronting sinners to repent or get out of the church. (1Cor5:1-5)

Such people call Him Lord but they reject His authority and His authority is given to deal with sinners (Rom13:1-6) And if He won’t deal with their sin He is not Lord because He is not exercising His authority as Lord. Jesus is Lord of all because He has awesome authority to deal with everything that is out of order. He is Lord because God the Father has given Him all authority to put things in order yet the contemporary church wants to call Him Lord while they refuse to believe He will use His awesome authority to correct them. Fools and hypocrites! If Jesus does not use His authority to accomplish God’s will; to establish justice and righteousness in the earth, then Jesus is like the servant who buried His talent. You better believe Jesus holds supreme authority in order to use it. So the false churches believe Jesus is “harmless” and will not use any authority against them and they claim that is what Jesus is like and you have to be like that to be like their Jesus. But their Jesus is not Lord. He doesn’t exercise His Lordship. The truth is the real Jesus can only be what He really is. He cannot deny Himself. He cannot be what you make Him to be. He cannot play along with your misconceptions of Him. Anything that is not like He really is, is a lie and He will have nothing to do with lies. You cannot shape Jesus the way you want, but you must learn to know Him as He truly is. To know Jesus is eternal life but only if you know Him in truth. (Jn17:3,17) The real Jesus isn’t like the Jesus of these false churches. The real Christ won’t put up with their chicaneries; He won’t put up with their hypocrisies. He won’t put up with the deceits, the lies and the excuses of these false christians. The real Jesus will have a church made up of righteous people, faithful people, perfect people. He who works deceit shall not dwell within my house; he who tells lies shall not continue in my presence. Early I will destroy all the wicked of the land, that I may cut off all the evildoers from the city of the LORD. (Ps101:7-8) If the real Jesus is in me then you’ll see Him work through Me to produce the kind of church He can accept. So again, the discipline you saw in this service is just as much of the real Jesus as the compassion. And people are pretty good at faking compassion these days, because that’s what they think is expected of them in religion; but they won’t do the things the Spirit needs to do to discipline. And because they won’t endure Christ’s discipline they are none of His. But if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons. (Heb12:8)

Prophecy: I am raising up warriors, manly men full of valor to stand up for Me. I am raising up crucified men, who loathe the flesh, know it as an enemy, and want Me and look to Me and depend upon Me to make them righteous and to live holy. My people clean their own house and they will not put up with sin in their midst, and they long to fellowship only with brethren of like precious faith. For My church will be made up of crucified men and women walking holy before Me daily. That is My church, full of spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers, and young men who are overcoming the wicked one, and warriors; that is what My church is and will ever be. And My glory will be seen in her. And those who I am raising up, faithful men and women; a broken and crucified people, My warriors and teachers; they will come to My place of rest and they will find there only those that are like unto themselves. For I will have that, saith the Lord. I will have a holy church, a chosen people, a people who in all things glorify My Name, saith the Lord.

The Lord is teaching us how to identify the true brethren from the false, and He’s giving us sure and certain proofs that most people who claim to be Christians today are not regenerated. They’re not born again. Jesus isn’t in them. They’re not part of His church of which He is the Head. They don’t have His Spirit. And Christ has shown us many infallible proofs confirming that. The Bible is filled with admonitions, the “oughts and shoulds,” which describe the behavior of true believers. But if I am delayed, I write so that you may know how you ought to conduct yourself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. (1Tim 3:15) So we see that people who claim to believe in Christ should be conducting themselves according to what is written in the scriptures, but most are not. Instead, they follow after lies. And whereas the true church is the pillar and ground of the truth, these false “churches” make up lies to excuse their disobedience. And one of the things the Bible says believers ought to do is, Do not despise prophecies. (1Thes5:20) And, Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. (1Cor14:1) Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. Let all things be done decently and in order. (1Cor 14:39-40)

We have heard the testimony from brother M. where God stirred him up to go into a meeting of false Christians and read to them from Jeremiah, where it says, “Who can I speak to, your ear is uncircumcised? Therefore I am going to pour out My fury upon you.” (Jer6:11) And how that Word caused the fear of God to fall upon the people present. It uncovered their sin, uncovered their lies, showed them where they stood in God’s presence and the Spirit convicted them deeply when bro. M. obeyed and delivered that Word. However, the Glory of His Grace that we had just put out and bro. M. had just read at the time was “Saved By Righteousness” which contained this prophecy: Thus saith the Lord, who will testify against these people who have perverted My gospel, who have twisted My Word? Who will show them their sin? Who will show them how guilty they are? Well, bro. M. read that prophecy and did not despise it; and that is the foundation for what God did through him. When he read that Word from God, it spoke to his heart, and then God began to compel him to fulfill that Word. And this is another example of the importance of prophecy. If you want to see God move, remember God must fulfill His Word.

So the moving of the Spirit often begins with the speaking of the Spirit – God speaking in prophecy. Surely the Lord GOD does nothing, unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos3:7) And because a prophecy was published here and sent where bro. M. was, the power of God went where bro. M. was. The workings of God are much broader than most people understand. Why do some things happen in this church but not in that one? Where does a move of God start? What was the initial spark that caused God’s people to begin to move in some direction? Then the prophet Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, prophets, prophesied to the Jews who were in Judah and Jerusalem, in the name of the God of Israel, who was over them. So Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel and Jeshua the son of Jozadak rose up and began to build the house of God (Ezra5:1-2) So the elders of the Jews built, and they prospered through the prophesying of Haggai the prophet and Zechariah the son of Iddo. And they built and finished it. (Ezra6:14) What was it that caused this work to be done? Prophecy! The prophecies of Haggai and Zechariah inspired faith in the people. God used His Word and quickened His Word through the prophecies to the people so the people could have the faith to do the work. Now can you see the importance of prophecy? Prophecy is an extremely powerful weapon in God’s arsenal. And we should never despise it but we should be praying for God to prophesy often and powerfully to us that we may be encouraged to work very effectually for Him. Are we not building the house of the Lord? Are we not involved in a great work for God? So how important is prophecy to the prospering of our work? This charge I commit to you, son Timothy, according to the prophecies previously made concerning you, that by them you may wage the good warfare, (1Tim1:18) Here you can see how personal prophecies concerning God’s call and divine purpose for Timothy will be a continual encouragement to his faith “that he may wage the good warfare.” What about us? Don’t we need such prophecies to help us wage the good warfare? Then one of them, named Agabus, stood up and showed by the Spirit that there was going to be a great famine throughout all the world, which also happened in the days of Claudius Caesar. (Acts11:28) Here a prophecy warns the church about coming difficulties so they can prepare ahead of time to deal with them. Then the disciples, each according to his ability, determined to send relief to the brethren dwelling in Judea. (v29) This is similar to how God showed Joseph the coming famine so he could prepare a way for Egypt and even his own family to survive and it agrees with, “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.” (Jn16:13) When he had come to us, he took Paul's belt, bound his own hands and feet, and said, “Thus says the Holy Spirit, ‘So shall the Jews at Jerusalem bind the man who owns this belt, and deliver him into the hands of the Gentiles.’” Now when we heard these things, both we and those from that place pleaded with him not to go up to Jerusalem. (Acts21:11-12) “And see, now I go bound in the Spirit to Jerusalem, not knowing the things that will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies in every city, saying that chains and tribulations await me.” (Acts20:22-23) This is the Holy Spirit prophesying to Paul of things to come so he won’t be surprised or shaken by the tribulation he’ll be facing in Jerusalem and on his journey to Rome. But he’ll know that in spite of all the trials and afflictions God is with him. How much do we need such assurance today?

As they ministered to the Lord and fasted, the Holy Spirit said, “Now separate to Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” (Acts13:2) It’s the Spirit of prophecy that sends Paul and Barnabas on that first great missionary journey. Prophecy ordains them to the calling. We should also notice that it was Jeremiah’s prophecies that alerted Daniel to pray accordingly when the time was fulfilled for the Jews to return to Jerusalem. It was prophecy that caused Jehoshaphat to know he wouldn’t have to fight when Amon and Moab came against him, but that God would cause them to destroy each other. (2Chr20) It was prophecy that assured Hezekiah that God would not let Jerusalem be captured by Sennacherib and the Rabshakeh. (Is36-37)

And I fell at his feet to worship him. But he said to me, “See that you do not do that! I am your fellow servant, and of your brethren who have the testimony of Jesus. Worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.” (Rev19:10) Prophecy is the manifestation of the living Christ speaking through and to His people. Now is it possible to overemphasize the importance of prophecy to Christ’s church? Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts, but especially that you may prophesy. Therefore, brethren, desire earnestly to prophesy, and do not forbid to speak with tongues. (1Cor14:1,39) Yet the wicked Baptists “demonologies” claim that prophecy died off with the last of the twelve apostles of Jesus Christ. Even the Bible proves them liars. Agabus wasn’t of the twelve. On the next day we who were Paul's companions departed and came to Caesarea, and entered the house of Philip the evangelist, who was one of the seven, and stayed with him. Now this man had four virgin daughters who prophesied. (Acts21:8-9) Not only were Philip’s daughters not apostles but they were of the generation following the apostles, which scripturally disproves the Baptist lie. Further; “And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, that I will pour out of My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your young men shall see visions, your old men shall dream dreams. And on My menservants and on My maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days; and they shall prophesy.” “For the promise is to you and to your children, and to all who are afar off, as many as the Lord our God will call.” (Acts2:17-18,39) As long as we are in the last days God will evidence the pouring out of His Spirit with prophecies. So why do the wicked Baptists want to believe prophecy has passed away? Obviously because they don’t have prophecy in their “church.” They don’t have the Holy Spirit, they don’t have Jesus and they don’t have the testimony of Jesus Christ which is the Spirit of prophecy. (Rev19:10) So to cover up their fraudulent false christianity they have to lie about why they aren’t what the Bible says true Christians ought to be. And you can see how important the Spirit of prophecy is to God’s true church and how much the devil would like to stop it from operating since it does so much damage to him. Therefore he teaches his antichrist Baptist people to lie and to convince people “the gift is not for today.” “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” (Jn8:44) The Baptists are indeed children of  satan in today’s world, claiming they believe every word in the Bible is true and then subverting the Bible every chance they get by saying such things as prophecy has passed away etc. For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works. (2Cor11:13-15) Wake up “Christians” – Baptists do not serve Christ. They serve the devil – they are a “church” of lies.

Again we can see the testimony that came through bro. M. began in a prophecy. Thru that prophecy God stirred him up, and God could speak to him and use him because of the faith that came through that prophecy. Regarding the church around us – how many of them do you believe have any prophecy? And if they do, what’s the quality of that prophecy? How much of it is real? One of the problems we had to overcome here is that sometimes a so-called “prophecy” isn’t coming from God. Sometimes it’s just self-adulation. Sometimes “prophecy” is people showing off their scripture knowledge and saying things that come from scriptures. They quote a scripture and pretend they are prophesying. But when a prophecy is coming from God it will have something in it that connects in some manner with other things the Spirit is doing in the church. The Holy Spirit isn’t silly. He’s an orderly Spirit; and He’ll use prophecy to confirm things that are being preached, or give necessary guidance or warnings or useful information concerning God’s immediate will and special purposes for the believers etc. Real prophecy builds faith in the brethren and causes them to act upon that faith. Much of that has been going on here. And we should all be consciously aware of the importance of prophecy.

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who put darkness for light, and light for darkness; who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Is5:20) There are a people we’ve met who call themselves “Christians,” but whenever we testify that, “God has called us to come to church 7 days a week” they respond, “God would not expect that of you” or “You don’t need that much religion!” and they immediately speak against the things God is doing here, calling good evil and evil good. According to their reasoning less God or less church is good and more God or more church is evil. The church in the book of Acts must really have been wicked because they met daily! And concerning churches or Christians who are pursuing holiness, what do these false “christians” call them? “Legal.” Now, what does the Bible say about holiness? Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: (Heb 12:14) Peter says, Be ye holy as your Father in Heaven is holy.” But you, O man of God, flee these things and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, gentleness. (righteousness and godliness lead to holiness – Rom6:19) lay hold on eternal life, (1Tim6:11-12) Now, why is it that such people, when they see somebody actually pursuing holiness, they call them “legal?” They are calling good, evil. They call the people pursuing holiness evil by saying we are legal; and they call themselves good when they are not pursuing holiness, because they are not “legal.” If they read their Bibles, they would know the people pursuing holiness are in fact obedient to God; and of course that makes the people pursuing holiness the righteous. Whereas these silly people who say, “No, you are “legal” because you are obedient to God, but we are righteous because we are disobedient to God” reveal themselves to be wicked fools; calling evil good and good evil. God says, “Woe unto them.” And yet we know why they do th
