Christ Our Passover!

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 8/Issue 4

Prophecy: I have said it is the glory of God to hide a matter and the glory of a king to search it out. And I have hidden My truths that My truths which are precious and sacred should not be profaned and be held common by common people. For the common people behave in common ways. They are lazy and they do not search diligently to draw near to Me or to find out My ways. And I tell you, I will not cast My pearls before swine and will not give what is holy to dogs. And the common people are swine and they are dogs and they behave as the swine and dogs. But My treasures are hidden from the swine and they are hidden from the dogs. They are kept in safe places where only those who truly know Me, who truly love Me, who truly respect Me, who truly honor Me can attain to them. And I am telling you, I am pouring My treasures out upon you here because you have honored Me and you have sought Me and you have diligently obeyed Me. Therefore, I am opening up to you the secret hiding places of My greatest treasures which are My wisdom and My truths that you may not only be an adorned bride, a glory unto Me, but that your beauty may also cause others to see the glory of God and to want to draw near to Me that you may share with them what I have shared with you and that they too may come to see the worthiness of attaining to My presence in their lives.  For that is the greatest treasure of all.  That My Son and I may dwell with you and sup with you is the greatest treasure of all.  And only those who are worthy shall attain to it.  But I am telling you, I am making you worthy and I am supping with you and I am feeding you.  Rejoice My people for great is your reward in heaven, saith the Lord.  (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House.”)

“Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you are truly unleavened. For indeed Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.” (1Cor 5:7,8) In the Old Testament the Passover is a picture of our New Covenant salvation, and our true New Covenant Passover is Christ, Himself, and all of these things and the symbols concerning Christ in the Passover of the Old Testament are an extraordinary and a wonderful Divine mystery.

“But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory. But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him. But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God. These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual.” (1Cor 2:7,9,10,12,13)

Comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual, is how we will understand the mystery of Passover. We will understand why Christ is our Passover and what the Old Testament Passover indicated as a symbol of the coming Christ and of what salvation would be. And the way we will discern these things is by comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual. “But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”  (vs 14) “And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able” (1Cor 3:1-2). So to understand Spiritual teaching you must be Spiritual.

“For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Heb 5:13,14) So Paul is saying that he really can’t explain spiritual mysteries to the Corinthians because they are babes, and they don’t know God’s Word. And if they don’t know the Word of God then how can you compare Spiritual things to Spiritual? Because scripture is Spiritual and comparing one scripture to another is one very important way of comparing Spiritual things to Spiritual. And when you are comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual; the Word of God is the primary foundation to which you compare things.

To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this Word, it is because there is no light in them. (Isa 8:20) “The prophet who has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he who has My Word, let him speak My Word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat?” says the LORD. (Jer 23:28) What is the most Spiritual thing? It is the prophetic Word – it is the Word of the Spirit. “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are Spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63) What does Peter say about prophets? No prophet spoke on his own – “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” (2Pet 1:20,21) So, the Word of God, the prophetic Word is Spiritual, and it came from the Holy Spirit.

Now, one of the mysteries that’s very important for mature Christians to understand is, that among the many great and awesome things God has done in the scriptures, is that He has preached the Gospel so many times and so many ways; literally, figuratively, metaphorically, allegorically, every possible way of communicating; through types and shadows and pictures and anti-types and prototypes, etc. So that it is virtually impossible for somebody to edit the Bible in such a way as to get rid of the message. Nobody is smart enough to know how to edit the Bible in such a way as to eliminate the spiritual mysteries and the clues to them, which God can use to reveal truths to His people by opening up the revelations of these mysteries. Because the heretics and people that would try to rewrite the scriptures to support their own beliefs; they aren’t Spiritual enough to understand the mysteries. So, being blinded to the meaning of the mysteries they can’t see how to change the symbols – they don’t know how to change what they in the first place don’t understand. So they may doctor up or twist a few verses here and there, but God’s truth will still come through.

It is believed, for example, that after the crucifixion of Christ in subsequent centuries, the Jews tried to edit their Old Testament to obscure any obvious allusions to Jesus. Well the Jews may have changed some wording, but they were never able to write Jesus out because, as we will see here, Christ shows up as “the Passover” and they don’t understand that He is the Passover. And they don’t understand how to get rid of Him as the Passover since they don’t see Him in it. But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart. (2Cor 3:14-15) And even if they did see Christ in the Passover they couldn’t take the Passover out since to do so they would have to get rid of the whole Bible. In fact, the Passover is very important to the Jews, even though they haven’t a true understanding of it. So they’re not going to eliminate the symbol. They will still keep the symbol in their traditional way every year, but they have no spiritual understanding of it.

The mature Christian on the other hand can look at the Passover and have spiritual understanding of it and see Christ in it. But the criteria for having spiritual understanding is that you must get beyond just drinking milk, “For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.” (Heb 5:12-14) also, “And I, brethren could not speak to you as to spiritual people but as to carnal, as to babes in Christ. I fed you with milk and not with solid food; for until now you were not able to receive it, and even now you are still not able; for you are still carnal.” (1Cor 3:1-3) Everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the Word. Milk is when you need someone to tell you what things mean because you can’t compare scripture to scripture yourself or see the symbolic meanings. In our Bible study this morning as I was bringing some of these symbols out, I was expecting the participants to be able to see what each symbol is defined by in other places in the Word. But they couldn’t do it, because they’re too unskilled in the Word as yet. So the symbols mean nothing to them unless someone more experienced explains them. So Philip ran to him, and heard him reading the prophet Isaiah, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” And he said, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” And he asked Philip to come up and sit with him. (Acts 8:30-31) The eunuch is unskilled so he needs the help of Phillip who is skilled in the Word of righteousness.

Therefore even if we were to look at, “Christ our Passover, was sacrificed for us” (1Cor 5:7) if I was to quote that verse to most Christians today, they would hear it, but they would have no real sense of it’s meaning, because they don’t know what the Passover means in the Old Testament and they don’t know how Christ fulfills the Passover feast in the New. So they don’t have any real understanding as to what meaning the Passover has to Christians today or what it teaches concerning how we ought to act as Christians; what the Passover teaches us about Christian behavior. They just read it and all these rich truths go over their heads. Because they are unskilled in the Word and they don’t know how to interpret God’s Word. That is why it is so important for every believer to Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2Tim 2:15 OKJ) But if we are Spiritual and know God’s Word we can look at some of the things in the Passover that pertain to our Christianity and through the various symbolisms in the Passover we can have a better understanding of our relationship to Christ, who is our Passover.

For example – we’ll see that the Passover is to be eaten in one house and not a piece of it is to go outside that house. “In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house,” (Exod 12:46) What does that mean symbolically? What does the house represent? “But Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are” (Heb 3:6) So those who know the New Testament scriptures that call the believers God’s house can then see the important lesson in the Old Testament concerning the Passover being eaten in that house; comparing Spiritual things with Spiritual. So the Passover is never to be eaten outside of the house. Meaning what? You have to be “In Christ,” you have to be “In His house,” the true church, you have to be in the “True faith.” The Baptists, the Catholics, the apostate Christians don’t get to eat the Passover. They are not “In Christ.” They are in heresy. When you get into the real thing you get to eat the real thing. And if you are truly in the real church you are eating of Christ, and Christ is being formed in you.

And in the churches that Christ is not being formed in them, they don’t have the Passover – they haven’t taken hold of it, and they don’t have understanding of it. And in order to understand the Passover, you don’t go to some book outside the bible and try to figure out what “house” means. You don’t go to a dictionary – that isn’t going to teach you. When it says that the Passover is to be eaten in one house, you should say, “What does God say about houses?” And so you go to the Word of God and compare Spiritual things to Spiritual, verse to verse.

The Old Testament Word of God is Spiritual concerning the Passover Feast, and then you see the New Testament Word of God is Spiritual in Hebrews that talks about whose house we are, and you begin to see what the symbol means from the Bible itself, comparing verse to verse, spiritual thing to spiritual thing. And a Spiritual Christian learns to walk in the Spirit when his spiritual experiences are being confirmed by the Word of God. The Word will explain to you what you are experiencing in your walk with Christ. You will see that you are experiencing things that Jesus also experienced and overcame or learned from or glorified God in. Comparing things to God’s Word is the best way of comparing spiritual things to spiritual things.

Now look at how in the Old Testament Passover it says, “nor shall you break one of its bones.” (Exod 12:46) And we know the New Testament says, For these things were done that the Scripture should be fulfilled, “Not one of His bones shall be broken.” (John 19:36) So this is another confirmation that Christ is our Passover – but the New Testament also says, “The scripture cannot be broken.” (John 10:35) And Jesus is the Word made flesh (John 1:14) which is why the heretic cannot partake of the true Passover because heresy is the breaking of the scripture which is forbidden in the Passover “not a bone shall be broken.” Because of Jesus being the “Word” to break a scripture is akin to breaking one of Jesus’ bones. And again one of the things God has taught us in “My Father’s House” is the real meaning of grace, which is that grace is the empowerment given to us by God to enable us to fulfill the will of God. Grace is the very Presence and Spirit of Jesus Christ in you. His coming to live in you is grace and He does this in answer to your faith. He does not owe it to you, to come to live in you. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.” (John 14:23)

But when He finds real faith, one who loves Him and keeps His Word, He responds with grace – and there is no greater grace than to have Jesus and Father God come to live with you. And God’s presence is His grace and it’s a free gift, and He gives it to those who are really desiring to live right before Him and who will trust and depend upon Him to help them. And so grace is an empowerment from God whereas most churches today have interpreted grace wrongly as a license to sin. (Jude 4)

And I can reveal and preach to you the grace of God that is true because I didn’t go to the dictionary to find out what grace meant. I went to God and to the bible to find out what it meant. I prayed for God to teach me about His grace and He took me into all the scriptures on grace and God showed me His truth about grace. But the Baptists went to the dictionary and they got man’s idea of what grace is instead of God’s idea and then built their theology around man’s idea, because they are not spiritual and they have in practice rejected the Holy Spirit and the true Baptism of the Holy Spirit and so they have no wisdom. They don’t understand how to interpret the Bible and that’s an awesomely dreadful thing, because they won’t get to heaven following man’s ways. They’ll never know Christ as their Passover.

“On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for the lamb, let him and his neighbor next to his house take it according to the number of the persons; according to each man’s need you shall make your count for the lamb. (Exod 12:3-4) Once again it is required that each household have an entire lamb – we’ve already established we are Christ’s house (Heb 3:6) if we are the true church. And God’s true church is composed of many “local congregations” – each in a sense a household. There are some who think different churches may have different parts of God’s truth but this shows us that each local congregation of God’s church is to have the whole truth, the whole Lamb – partial truth churches are incomplete even as Saul’s obedience was incomplete (1Sam 15) and unacceptable to God. If they don’t have the whole Lamb – the whole truth – they are not partaking of God’s Passover. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year (Exod 12:5)

Now the first picture of Jesus here is that the lamb is without blemish. And we know that Jesus is the “perfect” Son of God. But it is also needful that we have an unblemished, completely correct and accurate concept of Christ – that we don’t consider Him wrongly in any way. To hold any misconception about Christ is to have a “blemished” image of Christ. But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. For if he who comes preaches another Jesus whom we have not preached, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different gospel which you have not accepted-- you may well put up with it! (2Cor 11:3-4) If you have a blemished or corrupted idea of Christ, you have a different Christ and you aren’t partaking of the true Passover. Now consider “a male of the first year.” The maleness or manliness of Christ speaks of His courage and manly authority. (1Cor 11:3) “Quit you like men, be brave, be strong.” (1Cor 16:13) as opposed to womanliness: In that day Egypt will be like women, and will be afraid and fear because of the waving of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which He waves over it. (Isa 19:16)

Of the first year – speaks of the original gospel. Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude 1:3) The gospel of the original church, the apostolic first century, Christ given, Peter preached, day of Pentecost gospel is the only true gospel. The gospel of the second year, third year, meaning in later centuries, etc. has been corrupted. The true Passover Lamb has to be the original fresh and new gospel Lamb. It is very evident from the epistles that the original gospel produced holy believers. Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: (Heb 12:14) Whatever most churches are preaching today cannot be the original gospel since what they are preaching is not producing the same fruit. If it were the original gospel it would produce holy believers today just like it did 2000 years ago. But what we see today is worldly believers – not holy men of God. And that is a certain proof the “gospel” preached in most churches today is not the same gospel as was originally delivered to the saints. (Jude 3) It is a different gospel – a different Christ – a different Spirit. (2Cor 11:4) Their “Passover lamb” is not of the first year. So they aren’t keeping the real Passover.

“Then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it at twilight. And they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel of the houses where they eat it. And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning.” (Exod 12:6,7,22) To partake of “Christ our Passover” we must abide in Christ, continually “until morning… until the day dawns and the Morning Star arises in your hearts.” (2Pet 1:19) Until the coming of the Lord.

In one house it shall be eaten (vs 46a) Note that each house must have its own complete lamb and you are never to take the lamb or parts of the lamb from house to house – thus each church in New Covenant Christianity must have the complete Christ. “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am (the whole Christ) there in the midst of them.” (Matt 18:20) That each congregation may partake of the whole Christ! “He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him. As the living Father sent Me, and I live because of the Father, so he who feeds on Me will live because of Me.” (John 6:56-57) But He answered and said, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.’” (Matt 4:4)

And notice, For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. (1Cor 11:29-30) This “Passover” is sacred and the partaking of the body and blood of Christ is to be done in a very respectful manner. It is only for the true believers and cannot be done outside the house. The body of Christ is not to be treated disrespectfully nor is this sacred “Passover” to be gawked upon by unbelievers outside the house. “You shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house,”

“nor shall you break one of its bones.” (vs 46b) Again this is a picture of Christ who is a lamb without blemish and that relates to the reason you shall not break even one of His bones. Now we’ve seen before in John 19 it says the scripture was fulfilled that not one of His bones would be broken. (vs 36) But look at this; “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all.  He guards all his bones; not one of them is broken.” (Ps 34:19,20) So it would be an indication that Jesus wasn’t righteous if one of His bones was broken.

“Do not eat it raw, nor boiled at all with water, but roasted in fire—its head with its legs and its entrails.” (Exod 12:9) Last week for dinner our family had broiled fish with the head on. Have you ever seen a whole roast pig with an apple in its mouth? And in the true biblical Passover, this lamb is served with the head on; it is whole, it is entire.  The complete lamb is there with the entrails. Now, if you didn’t serve the entire lamb you’d have to break a bone. If you cut its head off, for example, you would have to break its neck. So now you get the picture of how important it is that not one of its bones will be broken. And again each household must eat the entire lamb.

But Christ as a Son over His own house, whose house we are if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. (Heb 3:6) If we keep our faith unto the end we are Jesus’ house. Also because we are the temple of the Holy spirit, (1Cor 3:16) we are the household of God if we are the True Church. But then we can also see that there are many different “households,” congregations, that make up the whole of God’s entire universal Church – the Jerusalem above. So also there must be different “households,” local congregations that are the true visible church in the earth below. And the point is: “In one house it shall be eaten; you shall not carry any of the flesh outside the house, nor shall you break one of its bones.” (Exod 12:46)

So every congregation that is of the true church must eat the whole lamb. And this defeats the heresy that says, “different congregations or denominations have different parts of the truth,” which is a misinterpretation of 1st Corinthians chapter 12, that there are different gifts and different callings; but one Spirit – and that one Spirit is of the “whole” Christ. And when people think this way they say, “Well, you guys eat the head, and we will eat the leg and this church over here gets to eat the ribs, and all the churches have different parts of Jesus but together they represent the whole of JESUS.” WRONG!!! Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us. The Passover sacrifice indicates every household or congregation must have an entire lamb and it would not be possible at all for Christ to be formed in believers where the local church only eats the leg, but not the head etc. The purpose of the Passover meal is for Christ to be formed in every believer – perfect and complete. Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; (Eph 4:13)

This corresponds to Jesus saying, “You have to eat of Me to have eternal life, and that I AM the Bread of Life” (John 6:48,53,54) Jesus is the Passover. He is the Lamb, but He is also the Unleavened Bread, and He is also the Bitter Herbs, because He is the Passover. He’s not just the Passover Lamb. He’s the entire Passover meal, which is composed of the Lamb and everything else that pertains to the Passover. The whole Lamb with every thing else God prescribes for the Passover meal must be fed to each household and every household of God has to have the entire meal if they want to keep the Passover – unleavened bread, bitter herbs, the lamb with the head and its entrails.

And if you were to remove the head, Jesus wouldn’t be your Head. If you were to say, “I can’t eat the head of the lamb” you’re saying, “I can’t let Jesus be my Head.” And if you’re saying, “Well, I can’t eat the entrails of the lamb,” then you’re saying, “I can’t let Jesus be my heart and the deep things of my inner being.” And if you’re not willing to eat the bitter herbs then you won’t let Jesus be your chastening. Bitter herbs are vegetables – they may not taste good but they provide minerals and vitamins. To be a healthy Christian you must not eat only the pleasant things that God provides but even the unpleasant. “Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?” (Job 2:10) If you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom a father does not chasten? Now no chastening seems to be joyful for the present, but painful; nevertheless, afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it. (Heb 12:7,11) And if you’re not willing to eat the unleavened bread, then you can’t be a New Lump in Christ Jesus and He can’t be your Bread of Life; your New Way. Therefore purge out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us. (1Cor 5:7)

And all of these things have powerful spiritual implications, because this is the language of the Spirit; in these symbols there is a spiritual message, and the Spirit often talks in symbols. Nehemiah described a problem with the Jews in his day, marrying foreign wives and having children that could not speak the language of the Hebrews. They could not speak the language of the Bible. They couldn’t speak the language of God. How would they ever become children of God when they can’t understand God’s language? And what the Spirit is showing us here is pertaining to the language of God. Comparing spiritual things to spiritual things and recognizing the spiritual implications in biblical symbols is to understand God’s voice and know the Spirit’s language.

And the way you learn that language is by looking at a verse like “Christ is our Passover,” (1Cor 5:7) and then going back and examining the Passover to see what it can teach you about Christ. As we’ve shown you that the Passover is to be eaten in one house and you can’t split it up, it can’t be divided. So no congregation can take just a part of Jesus; we have to have the whole Passover meal in every house, every true church. Wherever there is real Christianity going on in that church, the WHOLE Passover meal is to be eaten by the whole congregation, not just a part of it. Nobody can say, “I don’t want the bitter herbs.” Nobody can say, “I don’t want to eat the head, I don’t want to eat the eye.” The point is, you won’t be able to see if you reject the eye of Christ, or hear if you reject the ear of Christ. Every part of Him must become a part of you. How can you have the mind of Christ unless you eat of His mind? (Phil 2:5)

Now, we get that from comparing Spiritual things to Spiritual.  We get that from comparing one verse in the Word to other verses in the Word. As individuals we are to become complete in Christ. How can we do that if we’re not participating in the full Passover meal?

“And you shall take a bunch of hyssop, dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two doorposts with the blood that is in the basin. And none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning” (Exod 12:22) What does the door represent? And how important this is; to be putting the blood on the door. Now, we know from the New Testament the door represents Christ, Then Jesus said to them again, “Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.” (John 10:7) and that the only valid way to get into the house is through the door. The thief comes in through the window but only by coming through the door can you be accepted in the house. What are you doing when you enter through the door? Where does the blood apply? A true water baptism is the believer’s entrance into Christ – and Christ is the door into the church and the blood is applied at the baptism, because the blood is on the door. The blood is applied to the door as a covering to protect those entering through the door.

Now, if you are coming through the door then you’re coming through the blood, there is no other valid way into the house. The house is the church, the body of Christ, and there is no other way into the house except through the door; and that’s where the blood is. Now, what is the purpose of the blood?  It keeps the death angel from killing you. How awesomely important this is because, you must see, the only place you are under the blood is in the house. If you go outside the house you are now in the place where the death angel can kill you. You have to abide in the house to be safe from the death angel. This is why Paul says, “In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.” (1Cor 5:4-5) Cast the sinner out of the church and the death angel, satan, can destroy him. He’s out from under the blood. What is very important about this is that we’re looking at the house and seeing that it’s the true local church and that you must stay in the house until morning, because if you go out of the house, the death angel will kill you even though you are a Jew, even though you claim to be a believer.

How many people do we have around us today who think they can be saved without being in the church? Or they seem to think that they’re in the church when they’re not associated with any real congregation of believers, when they’re not having fellowship or having (Passover) with any true congregation. If they’re not together with any local congregation, any household of God, then they are not eating of the lamb. Yet they think that they’re still “in Christ.” Many have this esoteric idea about how they are in the mystical body of Christ when they are not participating in the visible body of Christ. Well you can’t be in one without the other. If you are not fellowshipping with a true local church congregation, you are forsaking the assembling of yourselves together (Heb 10:25) and if you are doing that you are not “in the house” –you are not under the blood! It’s a different thing if God sends you out on a mission for Christ because your obedience to Christ will keep you “in Christ.” The fact is that when Paul and Barnabas went out on the mission field, they were still a part of God’s house. They were also still a part of the church of Antioch and when they came back, they were warmly welcomed. Apostles or missionaries don’t leave the “house” in the sense of departing from the believers by disagreeing with them about something.

When Paul says to purge out the old leaven that you may be a new lump and he tells the Corinthian church to deliver the sinner to satan for the destruction of the flesh (vs 5) Do you think this man can now go to the Thessalonian church and be accepted? If he’s been thrown out of any true fellowship he has been thrown out of the entire universal church and body of Christ. “And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector. Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” (Matt 18:17-18)

So the sinner is cast out the door where the death angel can kill him, because his behavior is not acceptable in the house of God. When someone is in the house of God they’re under the protection of the blood, the covering of the prayers of the saints and all the things that go with that. And yet if they come into the house of God and they bring sin into the house of God and they don’t repent—let them be unto you as a heathen and a publican (Matt 18:17) He is no longer a member of the congregation. And if he is rejected by a true local congregation he is also no longer a member of Christ’s body, the universal church. Because what we bind on earth is bound in Heaven. (Matt 18:18) His misbehavior has caused him to be unworthy of the protection of the blood so he is excommunicated and bound from coming back unless he repents and because he is outside and no longer under the blood the death angel will destroy him.

And that’s exactly what Paul is relating it to when he says to disfellowship him or excommunicate him. He is removing the sinner from the house where the blood keeps us safe. And even though we may make some mistakes we’re still under that blood if we’re growing in the Lord and our intention and our heart is towards the Lord to become perfect and complete in all the will of God; (Col 4:12) to come to the fullness of the stature of the Son of God, (Eph 4:13) to be conformed to the image of Christ. (Rom 8:29) And that is what we are doing at “My Father’s House.” Now, what Paul says, and this is very important to understand this, is “don’t you know a little leaven leavens the whole lump, therefore purge out the old leaven.” (1Cor 5:6-7) If you don’t remove the unrepentant sinner, sin will take over the church.

“So you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread... For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land. You shall eat nothing leavened; in all your dwellings you shall eat unleavened bread” (Exod 12:17-20) “Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread on the first day you shall remove all leaven from your houses. For whoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that person shall be cast off from Israel” (vs 15) being “cast off” is equivalent to being turned over to satan for the destruction of the flesh or being killed. He is no longer to be a part of the local congregation or the universal church. In 1st Corinthians 5 it says that an unrepentant sinner has brought leaven into God’s house and that is a house where the Passover is eaten. And he must be removed. The church is in a continual Passover. It isn’t a seven day Passover; it’s a continual Passover.

Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us, therefore purge out the old leaven. You never stop purging out the old leaven. You’re always to be a new lump. Seven days indicates fullness, completion, and that actually indicates always, in a sense. So the symbol may be for seven days, but the reality is that it’s a complete work; it’s going to go on until the Lord comes. Now the unrepentant sinner has brought leaven into the house and he is eating that leaven when the saints are eating unleavened bread. So the sinner is eating the leaven of sin, of malice and of insincerity, (1Cor 5:8) and all the things that the leaven represents.

Now are you going to let this wicked man desecrate your Passover? God gives us a command to rebuke a brother who has sinned against you and if he doesn’t hear you, bring another witness to him so out of the mouth of two or three witnesses it will be confirmed. And if he still doesn’t hear you then you tell the whole church. And if he won’t hear the church then you treat him as a publican, treat him as a heathen, throw him out and have nothing to do with him; you shun him completely. (Matt 18:15-17)

And when you throw him out of the church, he’s no longer under the blood and he’s no longer under the covering of the household and he’s completely on his own in the outer darkness and the death angel will kill him, because he has eaten leaven in a house that is required to be unleavened. And he’s desecrated the holy Passover. And Jesus is the unleavened bread. He is the bitter herbs and Jesus is the whole Lamb. He is the whole of the Passover. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (1Cor 11:27)

Our next Passover lesson concerns when it says, “none of you shall go out of the door of his house until morning,” what does that mean? Now if you’re comparing Spiritual things to Spiritual you must find out what morning means. We’ve already seen what the “house” means, and we’ve already shown you what the “door” means. You’ve already seen that if somebody does go out the door that person will be destroyed by the death angel, even if they are a professing believer. Once they go out the door they are not under the blood anymore. But now what does “morning” mean? Comparing Spiritual with Spiritual we’ll see that “resurrection” is what it means.

Again in comparing Spiritual to Spiritual, we don’t go to dictionaries or reference books. We go to the Bible itself. “And so we have the prophetic word confirmed which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts” (2Pet 1:19) And from that scripture you can see what the prophetic word is. The prophetic word is the Bible, and the prophetic word is light. Where do you see that? The word is a lamp unto my feet. (Ps 119:105) And the dark place is the present age. But the day dawning speaks of the age to come – the resurrection age – where we will see all things clearly and “know as we are known” (1Cor 13:12) Now Jesus is the Morningstar (Rev 22:16) And when He rises in our hearts it will be our resurrection in the glorified body. (1Cor 15:51-57) You can’t see these things concerning the ways of God if you don’t know the scriptures. The scriptures teach you the language of the Spirit of God, so that you can understand spiritual things.

Now, there is another mystery concerning the Passover, which relates to Jesus being the Word made flesh. (John 1:14) Outside that house where the Passover is being eaten it is night; outer darkness. And it is night when the death angel passes over. So outside it is dark but inside there is light and there is a meal, and there is a difference between the light and the meal. The meal is Jesus the Word made flesh and the light is the prophetic Word of God – the scriptures. What’s the difference? When the Word becomes flesh in you, it controls your behavior from within you – as though it is instinctive in you. But when Peter says the prophetic Word is as a light that shines in a dark place – he is saying the written Word gives us a location, a sense of what is going on in God’s plan even though everything around us is very dark.

Now when the day dawns, we’re not going to have to read Isaiah to know what God is doing. We will know as we’re known. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. (1Cor 13:12) When the day dawns we’re not going to see through a glass dimly. Everything will be clear and bright when the day dawns. But while we are in this age of darkness we must hold onto the prophetic word because it gives us an indication of what God is doing and of where we are going, what’s going on around us, and what’s going to be happening in the future. It gives us a location; it gives us an understanding of what is happening, of what should be happening. The Word made flesh causes us to behave right – like Christ. But the written Word helps us to see right. The prophetic Word is a light to us and we must hold on to that light. And where is that light found? In the house where God’s Word is preached and rightly interpreted. We hold onto that light until the morning comes, because if we go out of the house before morning, the death angel will destroy us. You see the death angel kills the firstborn, but Jesus is the firstborn from the dead. (Col 1:18) And if Christ is in you – you are now of the firstborn – and to be safe now you must abide continually in the house. If you depart from the house of God now – you die.

So what does it mean not to go out of the house? It means that you have to stay in Christ and stay in fellowship with your true brethren, your local church congregation; the household of faith. You don’t leave the church and think that you’re staying in Christ. The church is Christ’s body. You stay in fellowship with the church brethren until the coming of the Lord, because what’s going on in the sacred assemblies and meetings of the congregation of the true church has everything to do with you making it to the morning. You go outside of the church (which means you’re cut off) before morning, and you are spiritually dead and the death angel can take you. If you stay in the church, then you will live. For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. (Rom 8:5-6)

Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? (1Cor 3:16) in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit. (Eph 2:22) The church is where the Spirit of God and Christ dwells. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.” (John 15:6) So abiding in Christ includes abiding in the true visible church.

“And thus you shall eat it with a belt on your waist, your sandals on your feet, your staff in your hand, so you shall eat it in haste for it is the LORD’S Passover” (Exod 12:11) When you stay in the church you stay prepared for the morning, prepared for that day to dawn and that morning star to rise in your hearts. The morning star rising in your heart refers to when you are raised in Christ in the same way and in the glorious body that Jesus was raised in. This also shows us the resurrection power will come through the heart of each believer; from Christ in your heart. So how important is it that Christ should dwell in your heart through faith? (Eph 3:17) When Jesus raises you in the glorified body, the morning star truly will have risen in your heart and the day dawned. And then you don’t need to be a part of the local congregation that is a true church, anymore, because now you are complete in the eternal congregation. What people are misunderstanding is that they think they are already a part of that universal church. NO YOU ARE NOT!! Not by yourself you are not. When a local congregation is a true church with Christ as its head then that local congregation is a part of the universal church and if Christ is truly your head and you are truly in Him – then you become a part of the universal church because you are a part of the local church which is in the universal. And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all. (Eph 1:22-23)

You are not independently in Christ – if you reject fellowship with His body – you are not “in Him.” Until the morning star rises in you, if it is a real church with Jesus as it’s head, the local congregation is the “portion” of the universal church that you can and must connect with. The local congregation is your means of entrance into the universal church. And you cannot gain entrance into the universal eternal church except by being a part of the local “branch” of that universal church. So it is through the local congregation that you make contact with the eternal universal church, and you better be a part of it, because you don’t get into the universal congregation if you reject participating in the local congregation.

And if your local congregation isn’t really serving the Lord, if it’s not eating the whole lamb, if it isn’t eating the whole Passover, you are NOT in Christ’s church! You had better get out of that place and get into a true church congregation that has Christ as its head. You had better watch and be aware of what’s going on in your church. God will hold you responsible for choosing the church that you attend. If you choose to be part of a false or heretical church – you will perish with that church. If you choose to worship with Laodiceans you will be spit out of Christ’s mouth with the rest of the Laodiceans. (Rev 3:16) Babylon will surely fall. And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” (Rev 18:4) So you’d better choose your church carefully, and get out of Babylon, and make sure your church is out of Babylon.

Is your church really preparing for the coming of the Lord? Are their sandals on their feet? Do they have their belt on? Are they girded? Do they have their staff in their hand? Are they eating the whole lamb in haste? What does it mean to eat it in haste? It’s hastening the day of the coming of the Lord. (2Pet 3:11-12) It also means not wasting any time in being conformed into the image of Christ; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Eph 5:16) We are eating of Christ as fast as God’s grace allows. We are not lingering or taking our time and being picky and saying, “Well, I don’t know if I want to eat this ear, or maybe I’ll wait to eat it later.” I am hastening to be conformed to the image of Christ because Christ may come at any time. And to the Jews this food is their strength for the journey out of Egypt. And to us it is our strength to prepare for the coming of the Lord. And we must make sure we are completely conformed to Christ lest being unprepared at His coming we turn back like Lot’s wife. We are to take all of Christ into us as quickly as possible.

Now what is going on in the Passover house while we wait for the morning? For one thing, this is not a house where people are sleeping! But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night, but let us who are of the day be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet the hope of salvation. For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1Thes 5:4-9) So in the Passover house we are not sleeping but hastily preparing for the coming of the Lord, that we may be delivered from the wrath of God that is coming upon the world around us. And if we are abiding in that house until the day dawns, then we must be alert and prepared to go any time, being ready to go as soon as the day dawns. And while you’re prepared, in one way – fully dressed with shoes on etc., in another way you are preparing even more by eating of Christ.

Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1John 3:2-3) This also means that in order to see Him we must become like Him. That is why we are purifying ourselves. So again what’s the difference between the Word that is light and the Word that is food? For one thing you must have the Word that is light or you wouldn’t even see the food; the Word that is food. You can’t eat in the dark. So by the light you can see what to eat and what you need to do. And so you need the light so you can eat of the Word, so the Word can become flesh in you, so that it’s a part of you. It’s not enough just to see.

So many people think that seeing is the salvation. Seeing isn’t salvation until it becomes doing. But be doers of the Word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the Word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror; for he observes (sees) himself, goes away, and immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues in it, and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. (James 1:22-25) And so what’s going on in the house is there is a transforming – the Word that is our food is becoming our flesh and making us like Jesus. So we want to consume it all so we may be perfectly conformed to Christ (Col 1:28) even as it says, “You shall let none of it remain until morning, and what remains of it until morning you shall burn with fire.” (Exod 12:10) Then the goal is to EAT IT ALL! And if you don’t get to eat it all whatever is left must be burned. For this Passover lamb is the body of Christ and you must not desecrate the body of Christ.

In a very real sense the Passover is Christ’s funeral. It is not a celebration feast. Therefore when you come together in one place, it is not to eat the Lord's Supper. For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and another is drunk. (1Cor 11:20-21) The Passover is a very sobering meal where Christ has sacrificed His life so that we may eat of Him and be made acceptable to God and be saved from the wrath to come. Then He said to them, "With fervent desire I have desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer; And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me.” (Luke 22:15,19) We must remember the terrible cost of our salvation (1Cor 11:24) and never dishonor Christ’s body of which we are partaking. For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord's death till He comes. Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. (1Cor 11:26-27)

Not a piece of Christ’s body can go outside the house. The household is to eat it all, but if there is still something left when the morning comes, what is left will go into the fire. This shows us that after the Lord comes for His church there will be nothing left by which anybody in this world can take hold of Christ, or to eat and become like Christ. When the day dawns this age of grace is over! If you weren’t in the house, a congregation of the true church, you didn’t get to eat the meal. There won’t be anything left behind for you. You must eat it now while you still can. “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut. Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’” (Matt 25:10-12)

“This is the ordinance of the Passover: no foreigner shall eat it, but every man’s servant who is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then he may eat it. A sojourner and a hired servant shall not eat it. And when a stranger dwells with you and wants to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it, and he shall be as a native of the land. For no uncircumcised person shall eat it.” (Exod 12:43-45,48)

Now, what does circumcision represent? “Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and be stiff-necked no longer.” (Deut 10:16)  “Therefore, if an uncircumcised man keeps the righteous requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be counted as circumcision?” (Rom 2:26) So keeping the commandments of God is what circumcision represents and if you don’t obey God your circumcision is invalid. Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters. (1Cor 7:19) For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but a new creation. (Gal 6:15) Circumcision is a symbol of the New Covenant, which requires us to obey Christ.

In the New Covenant, circumcision is our being cut off from the body of sin. In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, (Col 2:11) We don’t live for ourselves anymore, we now live for God and serve Him. (2Cor 5:15) Circumcision means we are a new creation in Christ; old things have passed away and all things have become new. (2Cor 5:17) Circumcision says that I have come to do your will O God. (Heb 10:7) I’ve been circumcised away from my will and I’m here to do Your will. For we are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit, rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh, (Phil 3:3)

Concerning the Old Testament Passover where it says, “no uncircumcised person shall eat it” that translates in the New Covenant as no one except those who are truly born again and serve God from the heart and who are striving to be perfect and complete in all the will of God are going to eat of the Passover meal. God will not serve the precious body of Christ to the shallow, lukewarm or insincere. Every time we come together to hear God’s Word in Christ’s true church, we are eating the Passover meal. The Passover meal is eaten with the light that shows us what God is doing and wants us to do and it is the food that forms Christ in us. God has given us the lamb, the head, the entrails, the unleavened bread, the bitter herbs. And the more we eat of it the more we become like Christ. There are no Baptists, or Presbyterians, or Catholics today who are eating this meal.

None of the old denominations and none of the people who think that salvation is just being forgiven, are eating of this meal. Because the Passover meal is not forgiveness. The Passover meal is becoming one with Christ by eating of Christ and being conformed to His image. And you must eat all of the meal – you eat the brain of the Lamb or you don’t have the mind of Christ – you eat the eye or you don’t see what Christ sees – you eat the heart or you don’t love as Christ.

And it is only the people that are eating the Passover and becoming conformed to the image of Christ who are protected by the blood, which these foolish Baptists think protects them just because they claim to believe in Christ when they are not believing in such a way as to be conformed to Him. You are not under the blood unless you are eating the Passover meal. The blood is on the entrance to the Passover house. The Passover is the meal that conforms you to Christ and makes you fit to be a part of the Kingdom of God, and nobody who doesn’t have a circumcised heart will eat of it. And people who are not circumcised, they can hear the same message we hear but God’s word goes right over their head. The plate comes by, with the unleavened bread, but they reach for something else. They don’t get to eat of it, they don’t understand what the meal is about. They do not get conformed to Christ because they don’t eat what the true brethren eat.

“We have an altar from which those who serve the tabernacle have no right to eat” (Heb 13:10) Our altar is outside the camp, outside of the Old Covenant religion, outside of man made religion, outside of the symbolic and into the substance; which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. (Col 2:17) “Therefore Jesus also, that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore let us go forth to Him, outside the camp, bearing His reproach.” (Heb 13:12-13) We have an altar that nobody but the true children of God can eat from; nobody else gets to eat the Passover. God won’t let them. No one eats of Christ until they have a heart that’s truly circumcised to God. That’s what God has done here. He has circumcised our hearts so that our greatest desire is to be like Jesus, and to please the Lord. So now, He is feeding us His Passover. He will feed us everything that pertains to Christ—the lips, the tongue, the nose, everything. It’s all Jesus, and you need the whole Lamb. “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matt 4:4)

In the Glory of His Grace issue “The High Calling” God shows how Noah’s obedience to God is what saved him. Noah and the ark are a picture of salvation. There are many illustrations of salvation in the bible as what we just looked at here, the Passover being an illustration of salvation and how salvation works. “By faith Moses kept the Passover and the sprinkling of blood, lest he who destroyed the firstborn should touch them” (Heb 11:28) This is the awesome importance of what God is saying here. By faith Noah built an ark. By faith he obeyed God and built the ark. Good intentions weren’t going to save Noah. His good intentions had to become a real ark. In other words, his faith had to produce good works, or he wouldn’t have been saved. Today, we have a myriad of Christians who are living on good intentions thinking they will be welcomed into Heaven on mere intentions.

James tells us faith without works is dead. (James 2:17) James tells us that if Abraham hadn’t turned his faith into the work of offering Isaac it would not have been imputed to him as righteousness. Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar? Do you see that faith was working together with his works, and by works faith was made perfect? (James 2:21-22)

Hebrews tells us that if Rahab didn’t save the spies, her good intentions would have been of no value to her. (Heb 11:31) She would have died with the rest of those people in Jericho. But Rahab had a faith in God that caused her to do something and she stuck her neck out and risked her own life in order to save the spies that she knew were working for the real God. And she did something for the real God and the real God did something for her. Her faith turned into an act, a good act, and a good work, and God rewarded her for her good works by giving her salvation.

And the Passover is an extraordinarily beautiful picture of salvation. It isn’t just the blood; it’s the meal. It’s staying in the house. It’s not allowing anybody to eat it except the circumcised. Not a single Jew would have been saved that night if he didn’t obey every detail of what God told him to do. Salvation is not in the mere believing that God is your Savior, it’s in obeying what God tells you to do to be saved, and that includes remaining in the house, eating the whole meal, and staying there until the morning. You’re not allowing any leaven in that house, not letting any wicked sinner come in claiming to be a brother and bringing leaven in that’s going to ruin it for the rest of you. Keep your house clean because there’s a death angel who is ready to destroy you if you don’t do this right. Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1Pet 5:8) Cast out that offending member. Cut him off lest the whole body be lost. (Matt 5:29-30) In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. But now I have written to you not to keep company with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner-- not even to eat with such a person. For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do you not judge those who are inside? But those who are outside God judges. Therefore “put away from yourselves the evil person.” (1Cor 5:4-5,11-13) Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.” (2Cor 6:14,17)

Every time you look in the scriptures with spiritual understanding, comparing Spiritual things to Spiritual; every time you look in the Bible at what is being portrayed symbolically as salvation, you will find that the heart of true salvation is obedience to God. Do what God tells you to do, the way He tells you to do it, or you will not be saved. And today, in this apostate church age, the wicked Baptists and their Pharisaical theologies have convinced just about all the churches that you don’t have to obey God to be saved; that obedience is a work. I’m telling you in the name of the Lord that obedience is the work that justifies your faith and makes your faith acceptable to God. That’s the work that it is. It’s not the dead work of doing something on your own that God didn’t tell you to do. That kind of work won’t save you. But obedience is the living work that makes your faith real. Show me your faith without your works, I’ll show you my faith by my works. (James 2:18) My works are to be the works of Christ (John 14:12) and they must be works of obedience. And the New Covenant is defined as I’ve come to do God’s will (Heb 10:9) and doing His will is what makes me a member of His household (Matt 12:50) and in “My Father’s House” we’ve all come here to do His will. We are here to stay in the house until morning and we won’t allow any leaven in this house. And we will stay awake, dressed, ready to go and eating the whole Passover meal in haste and that’s going to keep us safe until the day dawns and the morning star rises in our hearts.  Bless the Lord!

Prophecy: The land is full of apostate churches who quote My scriptures and say that where two or three are gathered that I am there and yet they refuse to deal with the offending member. They refuse to obey Me. They refuse to stand up for Me. They refuse to cleanse their congregations and yet they say I am in their midst. And I tell you, I am not in their midst. For when they refuse to obey Me, and when they refuse to purge out the old leaven, when they refuse to be the new lump, when they say it is love to allow sinners to continue in unrepented sin, to sin with impunity and stay in the midst of the brethren, when they do that I cut them off as a congregation. I depart from them. I cast them away from Myself and I am not in their midst for they have not joined together in My name, for they come together in the name of their own god, their own christ, their own self-righteous ideas of what it is to serve God. They worship in the flesh and not in the Spirit. They worship in lies and not in truth. They exalt themselves and they do not exalt Me and I am not there and I am not their God. And what they feel is, they feel the demons. They feel the “love” demons: carnal love, unholy love.  They feel the demons that parade themselves as angels of light and they think they’ve had an experience with God and yet they’ve only had an experience with the demons of disobedience. And they go out having been touched by the supernatural of evil, believing that they are My people and they are not My people. And I tell you, you who are My people, I will make known the difference between what is Mine and what is not.  And I tell you, I am making it known and I am telling you that even now the word that has gone out to the nations through you is causing people to tremble and shake. Even now their eyes are being opened and they are crying out to Me, “Lord, what shall we do? How badly have we erred?” And I am telling you, this is just the beginning of the avalanche that I have begun. This is just the first tremblings, the first hailstones that are beginning to fall.  And the greater work is yet to come. The great and awesome work is still to come, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: In My Word I have said, “that because I called and you did not answer, there will come a time when you will call and I will not answer.” And I say, so it is with this generation. In their iniquity they have despised My counsel, in their good times they have thought they had little need of Me. So they built their churches their way. They’ve practiced their religions their way. They’ve become very used to having it their own way, because they did not want it My way. And I have abandoned their churches. My Spirit is not found in them. And yet they go through the motions, claiming to be My people, claiming to worship Me, claiming to have Me in them, and yet they’re just having it their own way. And in their spiritual stupor and blindness they don’t see any problem until judgment comes, until the flood comes. And when their abundance is washed away, and in fear and in trembling they come into their churches seeking the answer, trying to find what’s gone wrong, what they need to do, I won’t be there. Because I call My people early, and I prepare them early, and they hear Me early, and they obey Me early. And when the hard times come I have prepared them and I can guide them and show them what to do. But these multitudes of religious and yet iniquitous people, who have not sought Me early, or heard Me early, or responded to Me early, when their troubles come, it will be with them as with the foolish virgins. They’ll be seeking how to get the oil, but it’s too late. They’ll be seeking how to find the answers, but it’s too late. But here in this place, I have a people who have sought Me early, and I tell you, the trials, the troubles that are coming, I will watch over you and I’ll guide you even as I have guided you all these years, because when I called you did answer, when you call, I will answer, saith the Lord. Also concerning the iniquitous churches, they have not sought their answers in Me, but they have come up with their own answers, and so I have laid a trap, a dilemma for which they will not be able to find an answer. And the troubles that come upon them will be beyond the ability of men to solve. And they will not be able to find an answer in themselves to escape those troubles, and in that day and in that time they will know that I am not with them. For they will come searching for the answers even in their churches, and they will find no answer there. But I tell you, the answers are here now in “My Father’s House” and there is such an outpouring of My wisdom in this place as has not been seen since the days of the Apostles, and you will have the answers you need in every trial, because I have blessed you with the true riches, which is better than gold and silver. I am pouring out upon you of My wisdom and My understanding, and those riches will keep you, and they will keep you safe in the times of trouble, saith the Lord.
