With All Your Heart!/She Who Stones The Prophets! By Pastor Bill Taylor A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 7//Issue 8 Prophecy: I am Spirit and those who worship Me must worship Me in Spirit and in Truth, for I accept no other kind of worship. I won’t accept those who worship in the flesh nor will I accept those who are in a different spirit than Truth. My Word is Truth. I won’t accept those who worship in falsehood. I won’t accept those who worship in presumptions. I won’t accept those who worship in heresies, imaginations, pretences; I reject all such worship. Only that which comes in the Spirit of Truth, from My Word, from the heart that’s sincere and pure, the heart that worships and adores Me in Truth is acceptable to Me. But I tell you, there are very few who worship Me in Spirit and in Truth. For it’s an easy thing to worship in the flesh. It’s an easy thing to put on the façade of worship; to sing songs, to dance, to shout praises when in fact it is only flesh. It takes faith to perceive that I’m Spirit and to enter into My Spirit takes a step of faith. It takes going beyond what’s visible and what’s felt by the senses. It takes looking at what’s unseen and seeing what the world can’t see. For haven’t I said I’d come to you in a way the world can’t see for I come to you in Spirit. And the world can’t see My Spirit. So they can’t see I’ve come to you by My Spirit, but only by what you do can they see the effect of My coming to you. The world can’t believe in Me because they can’t see Me. But those who truly believe in Me can see Me through the eye of faith, through the Spirit. And they know I’m with them. And I tell you this, those who see Me by the Spirit, respect Me by the Spirit; they obey Me by the Spirit; they hear Me by the Spirit. They do the things which please Me, for they know by the Spirit that which pleases Me. And they make Me Lord by the Spirit and let Me rule over them by the Spirit. For faith does all these things. For as faith perceives Me, faith sees Me and obeys Me by the Spirit. And these are My people. For I’ll have a Spiritual people and only a Spiritual people. For those who aren’t of My Spirit don’t know Me. They don’t see Me. They don’t obey Me. In spite of all they do that seems to be religious; it’s all flesh. For it takes faith to worship Me in the Spirit. So My people, put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and put on faith. See Me through the eye of the Spirit, the eye of faith. Worship Me through the eye of the Spirit, the eye of faith. Obey Me and know Me by the Spirit. For only those who do this are My people. Only those who do this are saved, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”) When one turns to the Lord the veil is taken away. (2Cor3:16) Great multitudes gathered together to Him. So He got in a boat; and the multitude stood on the shore. Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: “Behold, a sower went out to sow.” And the disciples came and said to Him, “Why do You speak to them in parables?” He answered them, “Because it’s been given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it hasn’t been given. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing they don’t hear, nor do they understand. But blessed are your eyes for they see, and your ears for they hear.” (Mt13:2,3,10,11,13,16) According to this scripture not everyone who comes to hear Christ will be accepted by Him or even blessed as in “Blessed are your eyes for they see; blessed are your ears for they hear,” which also relates to Blessed is the man You choose, and cause to approach You, that he may dwell in Your courts. (Ps65:4) The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the LORD has made them both. (Pr20:12) The only people God blesses to open their eyes and ears are those who turn to Jesus with the whole heart (Lk10:27) like the disciples. It’s not enough to come like the multitudes on occasion and just out of curiosity. The multitudes go away without understanding God. The disciples are blessed but they come to Jesus in a way that’s not temporary but continual. They’re making Jesus a part of their everyday life. In “christianity” today it’s a similar thing. The scriptures tell us You’ll seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jer29:13) That’s when your eyes get opened. It isn’t when you have a little curiosity or you want a little bit of God in your life. You’re not going to get it that way because the first and greatest commandment is to Love the Lord with all your heart. (Mk12:30) God’s greatest argument with the peoples is they don’t love Him with all their heart and He won’t put up with it. The LORD said: “Inasmuch as these people draw near with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but have removed their hearts far from Me, and their fear toward Me is taught by the commandment of men, therefore, behold, I’ll again do a marvelous work among this people, a marvelous work and a wonder; for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hidden.” (Is29:13,14) “And yet for all this her treacherous sister Judah has not turned to Me with her whole heart, but in pretense,” says the LORD. (Jer3:10) So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they don’t do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain. (Ezek33:31) These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mt15:8,9) For the one who turns to Jesus, the veil is removed (2Cor3:16), but as these scriptures prove the veil is removed only when one turns with all his heart, as Solomon says, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He’ll direct your paths.” (Pr3:5,6) Today we have a remnant Christianity which is representative of the ancient disciples who’ve come to Jesus with all their hearts on a full time basis; we’re living with Him seven days a week. Every decision we make is of Him. Then you have the multitude “christianity” who’ve heard about Jesus, recognize Him as the “Savior” and come by once a week for a half hour sermon on Sunday, but go off to live the rest of their life without really regarding the Word or the leading of the Lord. The full time disciples are the ones whose eyes are opened; they’re blessed. They’ve drawn close to God. But the part time “christian” multitudes have eyes that don’t see – ears that don’t hear. (Act28:26,27) The part time “christians” think they get something out of their occasional meetings with Christ but they really don’t learn anything because in fact they’re trying to deceive God into thinking they love Him when He knows they don’t. What you get from God has much to do with what you give. If you try to deceive God into thinking you love Him when you don’t – With the pure You’ll show Yourself pure; and with the devious You’ll show Yourself shrewd. (Ps18:26) He’ll treat you accordingly and let you deceive yourself into thinking you’re saved when you’re not. The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they didn’t receive the love of the Truth that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who didn’t believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Th2:9-12) That’s the tragic situation with most who claim to be “christians” today. By attempting to deceive God they’ve only deceived themselves. They haven’t had their eyes opened; they’re still deaf and blind because they haven’t turned to the Lord with their whole heart! They still prefer the pleasures of their worldly lives to a wholehearted relationship with Christ. In the light of these scriptures we can see 2 Corinthians 3:16 isn’t speaking of turning to the Lord as just a one-time thing. It means turning to the Lord with the whole heart and trusting in the Lord at all times! Job speaks of the hypocrite this way. “Will he delight himself in the Almighty? Will he always call on God?” (Job27:10) The hypocrite calls on God occasionally – not always. He who trusts in his own heart is a fool, but whoever walks wisely will be delivered. (Pr28:26) The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. (Pr9:10) To walk wisely is to fear God, respect God’s opinion, do things God’s way. So it may not happen when he (a disobedient man) hears the words of this curse that he blesses himself in his heart saying “I’ll have peace even though I follow the dictates of my heart” – as though the drunkard could be included with the sober. (Dt29:19) You aren’t to trust in your own heart to determine what good is. You’re to listen to what God says. This relates to the righteousness which comes by faith. (Phil 3:9) Many “churches” today don’t have the righteousness which comes from God. For the most part they’ve superstitiously interpreted God’s righteousness as an automatic thing you get just by saying you believe in Jesus. The reality of the righteousness which comes by faith, is you’re led by the Spirit of Jesus to do His righteousness. You have faith in God and don’t trust in your own ideas. Because you don’t trust in your own heart, you trust in God to lead you into His righteous behavior and to show you how to do His righteousness. When your faith is real and you trust God to lead you, He’ll direct your steps. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He’ll direct your paths. (Pr3:5,6) Then your steps will be righteous and you’ll be doing God’s righteousness by faith. It won’t be your righteousness because it’s not coming from your fleshly heart, it’s coming from your trust in God to lead you. The righteousness which comes from God is like that. It’s a refusal to trust in your own understanding but a turning to God and trusting in what He says. When I have a decision to make or if someone asks me a Spiritual question, in my mind I immediately look to the Spirit to show me what the scriptures say. I don’t trust in what I think. I don’t trust in my own ideas. I look to God to show me what He says on every matter. This is praying without ceasing (1Th5:17) “Lord, please bring to my remembrance what Your Word says about this.” (Jn14:26) So God always shows me in accordance with His scriptures what to do. But if someone doesn’t have the Word of God in him, he has to follow another standard; what society thinks or what he thinks in his own heart. The person who has the Word of God in him isn’t trusting in his own heart, he’s trusting God’s Word but if he doesn’t have the Word in him how can God lead him by it? (Jn5:38) If you’re trusting in God and in the Spirit to interpret God’s Word properly then what comes out of you is behavior consistent with the bible which exemplifies God’s righteousness. If it disagrees with what society, other so called “christians” or even what you think is good it’s still in agreement with God. Many “churches” today are filled with people doing what they think is “nice” while it’s absolutely adversarial, contrary and disobedient to God. For example, If anyone doesn’t obey our word in this epistle, note that person and don’t keep company with him, that he may be ashamed. (2Th3:14) Yet often today’s “churches” say, “It’s mean to disfellowship a sinner. It’s not love!” So they keep fellowshipping with one God says they should separate from. Their idea of what’s right is contrary to God and the sinner isn’t shamed or convicted. Reject a divisive man after the first and second admonition. (Tit3:10) A little leaven leavens the whole lump. (1Cor5:6) If you let an unrepentant sinner remain in the church and you don’t deal with his sin your whole church may perish. If you don’t cut off the offending member the entire body of “believers” may end up in hell. That’s what Jesus preached. (Mt5:29) Yet today people think to obey God and cast the offending member out isn’t love. So in their self-righteous “love” for an unrepentant sinner, they’ll destroy the whole congregation. Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of God is upon you. (2Chr19:2) God’s way is right whether you like it or not. God’s way works! We’re continually hearing about problems in the churches around us. Their members are in disunity, their children running after the world; divorce, adultery, abortions, all kinds of wicked things are going on amongst so called believers. In “My Father’s House” things are working right and our families are in good Spiritual shape, yet we do things in ways these corrupt “churches” say are cruel, or “it’s not love.” You know the tree by its fruit. (Mt7:20) We’ve got good fruit! That’s the mark of a good tree. A small tree with good fruit is far better than a big tree with bad fruit. The size of the tree isn’t what matters; it’s the kind of fruit it has that matters. And the good fruit in “My Father’s House” comes from our obedience to God’s righteousness. We’re not obeying the self-righteous ideas of churchy people who aren’t following God’s Word, but more often the mores of society or the dictates of their own hearts. Instead of going to God they’re deciding themselves what’s good and evil. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? (Jer17:9) There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death. (Pr14:12) Recently I was listening to some churchy people talk on a variety of subjects but none of them said anything I hadn’t heard a hundred times before and even thirty years ago. Not a single fresh word. Not a single new idea. Not a single revelation. How can they stand to listen to each other? Don’t they bore each other to death? Yet here at “My Father’s House” every night we have a fresh word from God. In every service, our members are sharing things in ways we haven’t heard before because God is speaking. Yet in most so called “churches” today: these people who claim to be “christians,” claim to be God’s people – don’t hear God! All they hear is what others say. Over and over they repeat what they’ve heard in their dead churches, yet they think they’re doing God a service by their much speaking. (Mt6:7) What they’re doing is utterly useless. When they get to judgment they’ll be rebuked by God because nothing in their speech comes from Him. It all comes from repeating what men have said to men. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mk7:7) This is the difference between the church above and the church below. (Gal 4:25,26) The Jerusalem above feeds on Christ who’s our Head and who speaks His Word to us. He’s our “Bread of Life.” (Jn6:35) We’re taught of God! (Jn6:45) The Jerusalem below is made of worldly “church” people who endlessly repeat to each other the things that everyone already knows; they just keep on recycling the same old leftovers and the same old church clichés which often aren’t even Truth and yet they think that’s what religion is! But they don’t know God. They don’t know how to glorify God! Nor do they look to the Word of God to find their righteousness. They listen to the opinions of their peers and their “righteousness” comes out of what the rest of their so called brethren say while none of them are listening to God. None of them know His righteousness. As it’s written: “There’s none righteous, no, not one; there’s none who understands; there’s none who seeks after God.” (Rom3:10,11) He who trusts in his own heart is a fool... (Pr28:26) The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, even to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his doings. (Jer17:9,10) The drunkard can’t be included with the sober. (Dt29:19) The drunkard trusts in his own heart, whereas a wise man trusts in the Lord. (Pr3:5,6) He lets the Lord lead him, not his deceitful heart! At that time Jerusalem shall be called The Throne of the LORD, and all the nations shall be gathered to it, to the name of the LORD, to Jerusalem. No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts. (Jer3:17) But this is what I commanded them, saying, “Obey My voice, and I’ll be your God, and you’ll be My people. And walk in all the ways I’ve commanded you, that it may be well with you.” Yet they didn’t obey or incline their ear, but followed the counsels and the dictates of their evil hearts, and went backward and not forward. (Jer7:23,24) Because they’ve forsaken My law which I set before them, and haven’t obeyed My voice, nor walked according to it, but they’ve walked according to the dictates of their own hearts… therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: “Behold, I’ll feed them, this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.” (Jer9:13-15) For I earnestly exhorted your fathers in the day I brought them up out of the land of Egypt, until this day, rising early and exhorting, saying, “Obey My voice.” Yet they didn’t obey or incline their ear, but everyone followed the dictates of his evil heart... (Jer11:7,8) This evil people, who refuse to hear My Words, who follow the dictates of their hearts… shall be just like this sash which is profitable for nothing. (Jer13:10) And you’ve done worse than your fathers, for behold, each one follows the dictates of his own evil heart, so that no one listens to Me. (Jer16:12) Return now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good. And they said, “That’s hopeless! So we’ll walk according to our own plans, and we’ll every one obey the dictates of his evil heart.” (Jer18:11,12) In so much of the world today, in the movies, the literature, Disney stuff, the teaching is “Trust what’s in your heart! Follow your heart!” But how contrary this is to scripture. People who follow their hearts are on a sure path to hell. They continually say to those who despise Me, “The LORD has said, ‘You’ll have peace;’ and to everyone who walks according to the dictates of his own heart, they say, ‘No evil shall come upon you.’” (Jer23:17) For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they won’t escape. (1Th5:3) The gospel is the power of God unto salvation for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. (Rom1:16,17) Power, righteousness, faith are all connected. But Israel, pursuing the law of righteousness, hasn’t attained to the law of righteousness. Why? Because they didn’t seek it by faith. (Rom9:31,32) Faith is trusting in God’s power! Israel doesn’t trust in the power of God to save them and make them righteous. They trust in their own understanding, their own power. They follow the dictates of their own hearts, trusting in human teachers. (Hos5:11) They don’t seek God’s righteousness by faith. They’ve a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, haven’t submitted to the righteousness of God. (Rom10:2,3) This is also true of many “christians” today. “Speaking the Truth in love,” for example, doesn’t mean telling people you love them but it means causing them to see they need to repent of their sin and get prepared for God’s coming judgment. None of the men of God in the bible preached sermons only about how much God loves you – but they always warned about God’s judgment too. God does love us, which is why He’s telling us to repent so we won’t be destroyed in the judgment; for judgment is surely coming, and we must get into God’s righteousness to be saved. So when I tell sinners and even so called “believers” they must repent of trusting their own hearts; of doing things their way and that they need to follow God’s Spirit by faith, what I’m doing is speaking the Truth in love because speaking Truth saves people. Whereas telling people God loves them doesn’t save them if it doesn’t cause them to repent and attain to the righteousness of God that comes by faith. So when telling people God loves them and we love them doesn’t work towards saving them, it isn’t love at all. You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. (Lev19:17) If you don’t rebuke him, God says you hate your neighbor and He calls it sin because you’re letting your neighbor die by not correcting him. As James says, “If anyone among you wanders from the Truth, and someone turns him back, let him know that he who turns a sinner from the error of his way will save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.” (Jms5:19,20) When you rebuke a sinner and save him from death that’s love! (1Pt4:8) But if you don’t rebuke him you don’t save him. You’re letting him die, which means you hate him and God’s going to hold you responsible. (Pr24:11,12) But if you tell a sinner he’s sinning he may turn against you. So it takes courage to rebuke a sinner. If he repents, you’ve saved his soul. But if you rebuke him and he doesn’t repent, his blood isn’t on your hands and you’ve saved your soul. When I say to the wicked, “O wicked man, you’ll surely die!” and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I’ll require at your hand. Nevertheless if you warn the wicked to turn from his way, and he doesn’t turn, he’ll die in his iniquity; but you’ve delivered your soul. (Ezek33:8,9) So what is love? Too many “churches” believe “Love is being kind to the sinner; ignoring his sin and making him feel comfortable in the church.” They say “Hate the sin but love the sinner.” But all this is totally contrary to the righteousness of God. God says if you love the sinner you must get him out of his sin to save him! And if he won’t repent of his sin you must put him out of the church to save the church. Purge out the old leaven, otherwise it’ll leaven the whole lump and your whole body (congregation) will go to hell. (1Cor5:6) It’s better to go to heaven with one member missing than to lose the whole body. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you; for it’s more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell. (Mt5:30) So put the unrepentant member out! (1Cor5:13) You’re puffed up, and haven’t rather mourned, that he who’s done this deed might be taken away from among you. Therefore purge out the old leaven. (1Cor5:2,7) The righteousness of God comes from the Word of God whereas what’s in most “churches” today comes from the hearts and minds of men who use their self-righteous standards to judge others. In establishing their own righteousness, they don’t submit to the righteousness of God. God says: “My righteousness is to turn the sinner from the error of his way. If you love him, save him by bringing him to repentance. But if he won’t repent, then love the church and save the church by casting out the sinner.” Yet the common belief is: “Love the sinner and be nice to him. Don’t make him feel uncomfortable by confronting his sin. Don’t drive him away from the church.” Where does such reasoning come from? It doesn’t come from the bible. The bible says if you let the sinner stay in the church, he not only won’t get saved but the whole church will be leavened by his sin and go to hell. (1Cor5:6) Jesus confronts such reasonings: “In vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.” (Mk7:7) In vain means useless – useless means your religion won’t save you. Following the dictates of your own hearts won’t save you. When people follow the dictates of their own hearts, they do the opposite of what God calls righteousness because “flesh” does things consistent with “demonic kindness” not Godly love. The way demons are kind is they make you comfortable on your way to hell! They say, “Peace and safety” when sudden destruction is coming! (1Th5:3) But God wants to save you from hell and tries to make you uncomfortable when you’re on the wrong path. His love will save you. But His love will chasten and rebuke you in order to save you. (Heb12:5,6,10) Demonic love will destroy you. “Churches” who follow something that isn’t God’s righteousness are adversaries to God. They’re God’s enemies because they haven’t turned to the Lord with all their heart. Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. (2Cor3:16) He said to them, “Because it’s been given to you to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of heaven, but to them it hasn’t been given. Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing they don’t hear, nor do they understand.” (Mt13:11,13) The disciples have turned to the Lord with all their hearts – they’re living with Him. For them the veil is taken away. They see! But the multitudes are just passing by. Jesus is only of momentary or occasional interest to them. They don’t see! Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. (Mt4:4) We must live by every Word of God and not just a few scriptures. Where the bible says when you turn to the Lord the veil is removed, (2Cor3:16) we can see by the other scriptures it means when you turn to the Lord with all your heart. When you seek God with all your heart you’ll find Him. (Jer29:13) That’s when God opens your eyes to see and your ears to hear. That’s when you’ll be blessed. And when you turn to the Lord with all your heart you won’t lean on your own ways anymore. Your righteousness will be what God says is righteous not what you think! You’ll let go of what men call good to have what God says is good! That’s the righteousness which comes from God by faith. (Phil 3:9) That’s the righteousness which says, “I trust God that He knows better than me what’s righteous! So I’ll do as He says!” But the righteousness of faith speaks in this way, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who’ll ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down from above) or, ‘Who’ll descend into the abyss?’” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? “The Word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach) (Rom10:6-8) Did you receive the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith? (Gal 3:2,5) Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. (Rom10:17) By faith we’re going to have a hearing relationship with the Living God. We’re calling upon Him to save us and our salvation depends on our hearing by faith what He tells us to do. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him won’t be put to shame.” For there’s no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. (Rom10:11,12) When you call upon Him, He’ll do something powerful for you. He has an abundance of riches He’ll use to save you, to help you overcome whatever you need to overcome to accomplish your salvation. Connected with these riches that are available to us through faith are the exceeding great and precious promises by which we may be made partakers of the Divine Nature. (2Pt1:4) When Paul says the righteousness of faith speaks this way, “Don’t say in your heart who’ll ascend into heaven or who’ll descend into the pit,” he’s quoting the Old Testament. Sometimes when a New Testament apostle is quoting from the Old Testament he may not quote exactly what the Old Testament says, but he uses the Old Testament scriptures as a stepping stone to a New Covenant Truth. That’s what Paul’s doing here. He’s speaking to a people who are well acquainted with the Old Testament, for when Paul was writing Romans, he was writing to believers who had no New Testament, only the old. When he makes this reference he’s reminding them of a passage they’re well acquainted with. For this commandment which I command you today, it’s not too mysterious for you, nor is it far off. It’s not in heaven, that you should say, “Who’ll ascend into heaven for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, that you should say, “Who’ll go over the sea for us and bring it to us, that we may hear it and do it?” But the word is very near you, in your mouth and in your heart, that you may do it. See, I’ve set before you today life and good, death and evil. (Dt30:11-15) What Paul is referring to is hearing God’s law and doing it, except now Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes (Rom10:4), so instead of hearing the law as in the Old Testament we’re now to hear Christ. How do you hear Christ? First you call upon Him in faith! You don’t have to climb into heaven to find out “Jesus what are you telling me to do?” You don’t have to go down to hell to find “Jesus what are you telling me to do?” The word of faith is right here. Just call upon the Lord and ask Him to show you what to do, and receive the answer by the hearing of faith. (Gal 3:2,5) Also this Old Testament passage says three times that we may do it: righteousness is something you need to do! The way you do the righteousness that comes from Christ is first call on Him in faith to find out what He wants you to do and then believe what He tells you and do it! When you do what He’s telling you to do your righteousness is the righteousness which comes from God by faith. The Jews aren’t calling on the Lord; they’re trying to be righteous in themselves. They’re trying to establish their own righteousness, following the dictates of their own hearts; the corban which makes their religion vain because they teach as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mk7:7) What faith teaches is STOP trusting in our own ideas and go to the Lord, asking in every situation, “Lord what would You have me to do?” When we call upon the Lord in faith He’s rich to answer us. James says if anyone lacks wisdom let him ask of God. But you must ask in faith. It’s all about faith; you have to be in faith, not double-minded. (Jms1:5-7) You must have faith God will guide you and show you the right thing to do. God will enlighten your heart. And when God shows you His way, He’ll back up what He says with a confirmation from the scriptures. Therefore, no one can be very good at following the Spirit of God if they don’t become serious students of the scriptures. Jesus said, “You’re My disciples indeed if you continue in My Word.” (Jn8:31) “If My Word abides in you, and you abide in Me, then you’ll ask what you will and it’ll be done.” (15:7) Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who doesn’t need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the Word of Truth. (2Tim2:15) When you’re looking for the right thing to do God’s written Word is where you’ll find it and God’s Spirit will lead you to that Word and open it up to your understanding so you may properly do it. (Jn14:26) The righteous thing to do with an offending member who doesn’t repent is cut him off and put him out of the church. Not because I thought of it. In my heart I’d be inclined to do what the world does and just leave him alone and hope he gets better. But on its own my heart isn’t righteous. It likes to take the easy way that isn’t God’s way. (Jer17:9) So instead of trusting in what my carnal heart wants to do, when I have an offending member in “My Father’s House” who doesn’t repent, I look to what God says, and do what God says to do. I pray and God’s Spirit shows me how to apply His Word rightly. He shows me how to make sure we’re not throwing someone away who could be healed; how to make every effort to save. But when it’s apparent they won’t be healed, I’ll cut them off because God’s Word says to, so it’s the righteous thing to do. And when I’m done whose righteousness is shown in me? God’s righteousness, not mine because I haven’t listened to my own understanding but to what God says. That’s the heart of what it means to have Jesus be your righteousness. You call on Him to see what He says to do. Jesus is the Word of God made flesh, so He’ll do what the Word says not what men say or society says. God says, “My thoughts are higher than your thoughts.” (Is55:8,9) Your ways of doing things don’t match up to Mine. Mine are better. So having faith in the Lord means heeding His Word and letting the Spirit confirm to you the right thing to do. Because we trust in the Living God we bear the reproach of those who follow their own understanding and think they’re wiser than God! Those who claim they love a God they don’t hear or listen to; who go to false churches and celebrate a false salvation when they aren’t really connected to the Living Christ who leads and instructs us. This is the battle we’re fighting. It’s the self-righteous “christian” who’s the enemy because he’s establishing his own righteousness, doing what his own heart says to do versus the true believer who’s doing what God’s Word says to do. And in this I’ve set before you life and death. Life is coming to Jesus with all your heart, to abide with Him always, not just for a visit. And life is to hear Jesus by faith and hear His Word and obey Him in all things. Death is existing apart from Jesus, following the dictates of your own heart and the self-righteous ideas of men. Choose life beloved. Prophecy: The church is Christ’s Body, the express image of His glory. I said, “To Him whom you see My Spirit come and stay upon, that’s My Son.” And when I sent My Spirit and it rested upon My Son, I said “This is My Son in whom I’m well pleased.” And I tell you the body of Christ is also to be the resting place for My Spirit; a place where I come to dwell and don’t leave. My people aren’t near to Me for an hour and then gone. They aren’t clean but for their feasts. They’re My house, My resting place where My Spirit dwells always; the place My people run to because there the Spirit of the Lord is. I tell you My people, I’ve raised you up to be the place where My Spirit dwells. And this is the importance of your walking in My Spirit, that you may be the place My Spirit dwells. Every one of you, in church, at home, in your work, no matter where, you’re to be a clean beautiful bride, the resting place for My Spirit, that whenever My people come they find Me because there I dwell and I don’t leave because My people are Spiritual all the time, clean all the time. So My people, be My body, be to Me Christ on this earth. And I’ll make you a shining light that will cause all from north, south, east, and west who are of Me to come running to where the Lord dwells. My children will come, and woe to you who’ve found your own way, who’ve exalted your own righteousness, who’ve mocked and made fun of My church. Because I tell you, she’s Mine and she has My righteousness. And now that I’ve raised her up and am making her the place where I rest, you’ll be shamed, mocked, and made fun of, shown to be the filthy harlot that you are because you aren’t Mine for indeed I have a pure bride, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”) She Who Stones The Prophets “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her!” (Mt23:37) Jerusalem is the capital of the people of God. It’s the city where the temple is, in which the only people in the earth who are worshipping the true God can practice their religion. The Jews are boasting in every place that they’re God’s people. They alone have the Word of God; the bible and the commandments. These are the only people who possess God’s true temple. They’re the nation the rest of the world should look to if they want to know the real God. Yet God says, “The ones who kill the prophets and stone those I send you.” How can these people be properly representing God when they won’t listen to Him or to the prophets He sends? How can they glorify or show forth the praises of God when God sends them prophets and righteous men and they stone and kill them? And why is God sending prophets and righteous men? The answer is very simple – because the Jews aren’t listening to Him! They’re not obeying His Word. He’s given them the law but they won’t keep it. What did Stephen say? “You do always resist the Holy Spirit.” (Act7:51) God gave you His Word, chose you as His people, and yet you’re stubbornly resisting what He tells you to do in order to do it your own way! You won’t listen to Him or read your bible and do it His way. So He sends prophets. He sends righteous men to tell you how to do it His way but you kill them. Now, what’s going on in the “churches” today? Why is it there are thousands of denominations? Why are there so many different ways of “understanding” the gospel? How often I wanted to gather your children together… (Mt23:37) There’s God’s unity. How? By sending a prophet to tell you God’s way so you can all repent and do it the same way – the way John the Baptist said to do it, then you’ll have unity. Sending you Jesus so you can all repent and do it the same way – the way Jesus said to do it, then you’ll have unity. Then God can gather you together. But instead of gathering together what do the “churches” do? Argue about it. Come up with myriad excuses and endless carnal ways to oppose what God’s telling them to do. David is dancing because the presence of God has come back to the people and the presence of God is with the Ark of the Covenant in which the commandments of God are kept. David is doing it God’s way! (2Sam6:12-14;1Chr15:12,13) Moses comes down from the mountain and finds the people dancing – partying around a golden calf so God in Moses kills three thousand of them and makes the rest drink bitter water in which that calf has been ground to dust, because their worship wasn’t according to what He said but they did it their own way. (Ex32:1-20) Whenever men do it their own way, it’s the golden calf; flesh in charge. And when flesh is in charge flesh parties, no one is convicted; people don’t go home from church more holy than they came. Where the Ark of the Covenant that has the commandments of God is the center of worship, where the presence of God is, people are changed for the better and real worship is taking place. But when people depart from the Word of God to do things their own way, it’s back to “Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets.” It’s back to God warning and sending prophets who men kill because, “How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you weren’t willing!” (Mt23:37) You want to do it your way, so, “Your house is left to you, DESOLATE.” (v38) The abomination that makes desolate (Dan11:31; Mt24:15) is the flesh, the golden calf, the “I want to do it my way.” Within 37 years from the time Jesus spoke this, Jerusalem is destroyed. The temple is torn down. Every Jew has been killed or taken into slavery. Within 37 years this Word was fulfilled because Jerusalem wanted it their own way, and wouldn’t turn to God and accept His way. They wouldn’t listen to John the Baptist. They wouldn’t listen to Jesus. They wouldn’t listen to the Apostles who Jesus appointed. They kept having it their way until God totally rejected that generation and their way. The road to desolation is having it your way. The road to Zion is doing it God’s way! Prophecy: Put away your games. Put away your carnal frivolities, your toying with My Word, your teasing of My Spirit, your playing with My Truth. Put away your childish things and put on the Lord Jesus. For the time is short and I’ll not trifle with those who despise My church, saith the Lord. It’s time to be sober, to be serious. Great and awesome things are coming soon. And I’ll have a church who worships Me in Spirit and in Truth; a holy church who demonstrates My power; a church who loves Me with all her heart. I’ll have a church in which I live and dwell and move and show Myself. A church that’s full of My Spirit saith the Lord. Prophecy: My people, you’re the work of My hands. I’ve called you and chosen you. I’ve put you in the place I ordained for you from the foundations of the earth. I’m teaching you to be a Spiritual house where My Spirit is free to work in and through you to accomplish My will. And as the sun comes up over the horizon and ascends into the highest places of the earth and its glory is seen and its brightness is beautiful, this is what I’m doing in My church. As I pour My Spirit on you and My glory is seen in you, I’ll continually cause you to ascend because it’s not the glory of man that will be seen in you but it’s the glory of God. So My glory will be seen in all the earth. I’ll show that I’ve loved you. I’ll show you’re the work of My hands. I’ll show your works are of My Spirit according to My Word because you’ve listened to My call and taken heed to My warnings. You’ve obeyed My Spirit and submitted yourself unto Me. And I say also that the carnal and the fleshly, the churches born from the Jerusalem below shall not shine. I’ll show they aren’t the work of My hands. Just as the sun sets and goes beneath the horizon and darkness covers the earth so shall their works be regarded, so shall their people be covered with darkness. They’ll all come down and I’m bringing them down now, saith the Lord, but I lift you up My people; I’ll cause you to ride on the high places of the earth, for this is the heritage of My saints. And I’ll cause My children to come to Me, to My Spirit, and to My glory. They’ll see Me for who I am, in Truth. For I’m restoring true worship in this place. And those who I’m calling will come to you, saith the Lord that they may come to Me. For you are Mine! Prophecy: The church is Mine. I’ve created her, she’s My workmanship and I’m the One who molds and makes her after My image. I’m the One who shows her how to have church. And I say woe to those who try to tell Me how to have church. Woe to those who think the church is man’s creation and men can direct it in the way they choose. For I tell you, they’re flesh and their worship is flesh and it’s unacceptable and I reject them, saith the Lord. For My church is My creation. She listens to Me and hears Me, and has church My way, in My Spirit, because she’s Mine, saith the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)
