I AM!

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 7/Issue 16

Prophecy: I say, can a spring yield both fresh water and bitter water from the same opening? And I say to you, no. What will it produce that will be any good? And I say, nothing. But I say to you, My people, right here in this place, because you have drunk from Me the fountain of living waters, I have created you and I have made you into the spring of God. And I say that you yield pure, clean, fresh water that goes forth and will produce the righteousness of God in those who receive and drink from your waters. For from My spring there are no bitter waters. For My spring will produce the righteousness of God which is an everlasting righteousness. And I say that there are many cisterns in the world today and they are not producing fresh, pure, clean water. For they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living water. They have forsaken My word and have thrown it behind their backs. And I say to them, their waters are bitter and dirty. They are abominable in My sight and in the sight of My saints, My true church. And what they produce is not My righteousness. You produce self-righteous people; a pharisaical church; people who are selfish in heart and look only to how they can please themselves. They never look to see how they may save anyone else’s life. And I say to all across the four corners of the earth, these things are being exposed. You are being exposed you pharisaical church. Your fruit is disgusting and bad. For when I send My apostles, My prophets, and My servants you persecute the ones I send to bring you the living water. You mock the ones that I send. It is not only in the days of My Son that you persecute My people, but you do it today and you accuse unrighteously. And I say to you, I mark everything that you do. Your wicked works are recorded. I have them written down. You will be recompensed for your deeds, saith the Lord. And I say to you, only My righteousness will cause you to be acceptable in My kingdom. For you must be clothed with My righteousness. This will be your wedding garment. And for those who try to make it to heaven in their own righteousness, and they never come and drink from Me, I say to you, when you try to come into My wedding without a wedding garment on, I will thrust you out and cast you into outer darkness and there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. For many are called but few are chosen and I say, come to My righteousness for you will find Me and My church. Where My Spirit is, there are My people for they are the pillar and ground of the truth. And this is where you will receive of My righteousness that you may be found worthy to enter into My kingdom and fellowship with the true saints and those who have gone before you, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at "My Father’s House")

And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” (Ex 3:14) When Moses asked God, “What shall I say? What shall I call You? What is Your name?” “He said, “Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”(vs 14b) “Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham? Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” (John 8:57-58) He didn’t say, “I WAS,” because in eternity there is no “I was.” Everything in eternity is ever present. To most people God is not the “ I AM,” but the “I was” or the “he was” as in the historical Christ. And one of the terrible things about that is the people who claim to believe in Jesus, but who believe in the historical Christ and do not really believe in the present Christ, they are not saved at all. Such people are not able to be led by the Spirit because you have to know God as the “I AM” to be led by Him right now. And the religion of such people rejects the immediate presence of God in favor of a historical idea of God. Which causes even their historical idea of God to be a falsehood, and this shows in much of what they do. For example, in John chapter 9, where the blind man has been healed and the Pharisees begin to question Him because they can’t admit that Jesus has been the agent of God in this healing. They have already made up their minds that Jesus is not from God, “Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner. He answered and said, “Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see. Then they said to him again, “What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes?” He answered them, “I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples?” (John 9:24-27) The healed man is fed up with them at this point. He knows that they are absolutely contrary to God and they are also trying to get him to side against God.

“Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.” (vs 28)  This is typical of apostate religion that says, “We can’t believe in the “I Am,” the God whose Spirit is manifesting in front of us, or the present working of God, but we do believe in a God of 2000 years ago. We are Moses’ disciples.” In Matthew 23 Jesus says, “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.” (Matt 23:29-30) So they think they would have recognized the prophets. “We would have recognized the ‘I AM;’ if we were there in that day. We would have known Moses was a man of God. We would have been disciples of Moses. We would have known that Isaiah was a man of God. We would have known that these men were from God.” And God says, “We’ll see about that – I’ll send you present day prophets and see how you treat them.” “Therefore you are witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar.” (Matt 23: 31-35)

Jesus knows how easy it is for you to claim to believe in a god from yesterday while you reject the “I AM” God of today. And the reason that men do that is, of course, flesh. And the reason is that flesh is at enmity, it is contrary, to the Spirit of God. (Gal 5:17) Flesh exists now in the present. The flesh in your yesterday essentially doesn’t exist anymore. The flesh in your tomorrow isn’t here now either. The only thing you really have is the now. The flesh in the now is the problem. It’s the flesh in the now that wants to do it’s own will now and not do God’s will now. And it is the God of the now that the flesh is at enmity with. It’s a very easy thing for you to say that I can believe that Moses is of God because, after all, thousands of years, and multiple generations of Spiritual judgments concerning him as being from God have gone by. It’s easy to come to the conclusion Moses was a man of God now and it is no danger to your flesh to come to that conclusion, because as far as your flesh is concerned, Moses isn’t here anymore.

But, if Moses were standing here now in your presence then he would be a danger to your flesh. Because in that case to admit that Moses is of God, you would have to admit that you need to submit to his teachings. You would have to admit that you need to listen to him – you would have to admit that God has anointed him and put him in a place of authority that is above you. But to admit that Moses was a man of God 2000 years ago is no danger to you in any of those areas, because Moses isn’t here. Furthermore even if you admit that Moses was a man of God 2000 years ago, you can look at his word in the places you want to look and not the places he might point you to. You can accept whatever part of his word that is pleasant to you right now and reject whatever parts you want to ignore, saying such things do not apply anymore because Moses isn’t here to enforce upon you his whole word for today. You can interpret the word in ways you want to and he’s not here to argue with you and say, “you are misinterpreting them.” So that looking at Moses as a man of God 2000 years ago, and accepting the Moses of the past as a man of God does not interfere with your freedom to have things your way now because in the present Moses is essentially out of the way.

And if you look at Jesus historically, it becomes the same thing and you can see the same thing happening in the churches today. We can claim we believe in a historical Jesus, but we can pick and choose which of His words we want to listen to. We can claim we believe in a historical Jesus but we refuse to believe He is present right now, that He has appointed men right now to teach us His word and His ways, and that we have to listen to and submit to those He has appointed. “He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me receives Him who sent Me.” (Matt 10:40) Obey those who rule over you, and be submissive, for they watch out for your souls, as those who must give account. Let them do so with joy and not with grief, for that would be unprofitable for you. (Heb 13:17)We can refuse all of these things and still claim to believe in a historical Jesus, because after all the historical Jesus is not here to stand and point His finger in our face and tell us we are disobeying Him, misinterpreting Him or doing any such thing as that. So therefore it’s a very easy thing for religion to reject the “I AM” God and to believe in and claim to be disciples of the “I was” god. But that kind of religion won’t save you. “He who hears you hears Me, he who rejects you rejects Me, and he who rejects Me rejects Him who sent Me.” (Luke 10:16)

“Then they reviled him and said, “You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples. We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.” (John 9: 28-29) As in Matthew 23, the Pharisees are saying, “If we had lived in Moses’ day we would have recognized him. We would not have participated in the rebellion of Korah.” But what God is saying is if you would have recognized Moses in his day it would have been because you recognized My Spirit upon him, so why don’t you recognize the prophet who has My Spirit upon him today. And in this case it is Jesus which they are not recognizing. In fact, you would think Jesus would be easier to recognize than Moses, and yet they are rejecting Him. So they certainly wouldn’t have accepted Moses. If they couldn’t accept Jesus and see that He was a man of God in the present, in the “I AM,” they sure couldn’t have accepted Moses if they were in the present with Moses. Only looking back can they see it. And of course hindsight is 20/20. Virtue isn’t found in looking back. When you are driving a car you don’t look in your rear view mirror to drive forward. If you want to get anywhere you’ve got to be looking at what’s coming ahead right now. When people can see clearly what went on in the past, but they can’t see what’s going on in the present, you have blind leaders of the blind. You cannot lead by just looking at the past, you also have to know what’s going on in the present to lead. You have to know the “I AM.” You must know the God of the now in order to lead.

So in Matthew 23 He says, “I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes” (vs 34) in the NOW, and see if you recognize them in the now, or are you just deceiving yourselves. Peter says, “I wouldn’t deny you Lord. I’ll die with you” (Matt 26:35) and then he finds out when reality strikes that he is not able to die with Jesus; he was deceived about himself. And these people think, “We are so holy, we are so righteous that we would have recognized the prophets if we lived in their time, and we wouldn’t have persecuted them.” And God says, “I’ll give you a chance right now in the present to recognize My prophets” and it turns out they don’t have any ability to recognize God or His prophets in the “I AM.” They’ve been deceiving themselves. And this is the very thing the crucifixion of Jesus proves and the stoning of Stephen where he says so clearly to them, “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you.” (Acts 7:51) You resist the Holy Spirit because He’s the “I AM.” He is God right now. And if you are to receive what the Holy Spirit is doing in the now, then you have to stop what you are doing in the now. You have to give control of your right now life to God in order to follow the Holy Spirit. You have to stop having it your way now and bow the knee now and have it God’s way now if you are really going to worship the “I AM.”

“So you do always resist the Holy Spirit” is typical of the people in the flesh who will not let go of their will, because they can hold on to their will while they worship the Jesus of 2000 years ago, but they cannot hold on to their will if they are going to serve the “I AM” Jesus. Real Christianity says, “when two or three of you are gathered in My name, “I AM” there in the midst of you. And if “I AM” is here in the midst of us, whose will are we going to do? And so when two or three are gathered together and the “I AM” is in their midst He says, “separate unto Me Paul and Barnabas” for the work I’ve called them to. (Acts 13:2) And they don’t say, “Wait a minute Jesus. We are too busy for this. We have other things to do.” Because in the real church the “I AM” is present and is in charge, and the true brethren have lost their lives and have given up their will in order to follow the Lord who “IS” and not “who was”, because Jesus rules and reigns NOW! And this is what the “I AM” is teaching us right now. Your faith must be to have the “I AM” living in you now, Jesus present in you and leading you now. And the times when you are not being led by the Spirit is when you get out of the faith to have God as an “I AM” God and you get back to the “I was” God, where you remember Jesus as somebody who was Lord but you’re not letting Him live and be Lord in you right now. And that’s going back to the flesh.

And Stephen says, “You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One” and they persecuted the prophets because they resisted the presence of the Holy Spirit in the prophets and they killed Stephen, because they were resisting the actual present Holy Spirit in Stephen. And this is the same Holy Spirit that was in Moses; yet they claim to be Moses’ disciples, whereas the truth is they would have killed Moses if they could have. Because if they lived in the days of Moses; they would have resisted the Holy Spirit in Moses also. They would have been in the Korah bunch, because these wicked people have a will of their own and they aren’t going to let God interfere with it. They are sensual not Spiritual. (Jude 19) They are the Jerusalem below which is born of flesh and not of God. (Gal 4:23-30) This is the same kind of carnal religion so many practice today that puts God in a historical perspective but doesn’t actually recognize Him or have a faith for Him to be Lord in the present.

“Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, So our eyes look to the Lord our God, until He has mercy on us. Have mercy on us, O LORD, have mercy on us!” (Psalm 123:1-3) When you need God to have mercy on you, you need the “I AM.” You can’t be focusing only on a God that did things 2000 years ago. You need a God who can do and will do something for you today! So a real Christianity has the faith that God will act in the now. And right now we need God’s help to walk holy before Him and His grace to do right, and light to be led by His Spirit, and power to enable us to do God’s present will. We need His present help in all of these things.

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! (Because she resists the Spirit of the ‘I AM” God.) How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! (Matt 23:37) In their “We are Moses’ disciples” religion they refused to allow the “I AM” God to tell them how to behave; how to do right in the now, today. And God was not pleased with them because had they been doing His will, He wouldn’t have had to send them prophets and righteous men and the people that they were stoning. He sent the prophets because these people who should have been God’s people, and should have been representing God to the world; these people who had the Word that was given by angels, were dreadfully misrepresenting God. These Jews had the only religion in the world that actually came from God, and yet they were disobedient to Him. If they were not disobedient to Him, He wouldn’t be sending prophets to try to correct them. So they are failing miserably at being the people who manifest God to the world, and because of that failure God must remove them and replace them with a people who will represent Him rightly. And because of that God is trying very hard to warn them so that they would repent so that they wouldn’t have to be replaced. Because to replace them will require the tragedy of their destruction. But they are not willing to listen to the warnings, they are not willing to turn away from doing it their way to do it His way. They hate the prophets who manifest the “I AM” Spirit and presence of God. Every true prophet is speaking the “Today” voice of God. They hate those prophets and they kill them. Finally they kill Jesus the Son of God. Then they begin killing the apostles of the New Covenant. They killed Stephen, they killed James and in the end God in His wrath almost wipes these Jews out and virtually destroys them as a nation. (1Thes 2:14-16) And all this happens because they wouldn’t listen to the “I AM.” In order to be saved they needed to listen to the “I AM” because they had to do things and make changes in the right now.

Any place you look through the Psalms, any place in the bible where there is a believer who is in need and receiving help from God; he’s not believing in just the 2000 year ago God, he’s believing in the “I AM” God who is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him now; (Heb 11:6) the God who will intervene in your present. And if you don’t have a God who can intervene in your present, you don’t have God, because what you need you aren’t going to get if your God cannot intervene in the situations and circumstances of your present life. But if you want to have a God who can intervene in your present, you must have a God that you recognize in the present, and you listen to in the present and you submit to in the present and obey in the present.

And so as the contrast to what the Jews were doing wrong when they would not submit unto a God who was trying to take them under His wing, under His protection, and save them – we have the picture of Ruth who lays down at the feet of Boaz (Ruth 3) and when Boaz wakes up Ruth says, “take me under your wing for I am your near kinsman.” And in actuality, Ruth was already under Boaz’s wing because Boaz had already cared for and provided for her in his fields. He had already been protecting her. And what made her worthy to take the next step to draw nearer to him was that she was obedient to him. Try to picture Ruth saying, “Take me under your wing” if Boaz had seen her running around in the fields of other men and disobeying everything he said to her. How would he have answered her? “Not today girl! I don’t need that kind of trouble in my house!” But when he saw her humility, and saw her obedience, he saw how lovingly she cared for Naomi; he looked at this woman and said, “Now this is a woman I can abide with. I’m sure we can make a good home together.” And she looked at him and saw his care for her and his goodness toward her and these two Godly people didn’t need a romantic love, they could see the goodness in each other and know “we can treat each other well.” Here is a Godly man and a Godly woman and that is all it takes for a good marriage. God, a good man and a good woman and you are going to have a good marriage. And Ruth said, “Take me under your wing” and we know that she is looking for a present tense help. She is looking for a present tense Lord who is going to take over her life, watch over her and take authority over her and she is willing to bow the knee and submit to whatever he asks of her. She knows he won’t do her harm and he will care for her good. That is a picture of how a believer is supposed to come to Christ.

The first step is the place where Jesus says, “ If you keep My commandments we will come to you and make our home with you” (John 14:22-23) because the one who keeps My commandments is the one who loves Me” (vs 21) and you keep those written commandments and you do those things that show you are serious about God, then you get the next step; “take me under your wing, let your Holy Spirit live with me and lead me and guide me.” And you can then come into the fullness of sanctification that you might be sanctified; body, soul and spirit. (1Thes 5:23) Because you are showing your willingness to obey God by keeping His written Word you can enter into the place where you can have His spiritual leading and you can submit to the Spirit. A real salvation is saying, “I want God in my present. I want you Lord; come and take me under Your wing now and be Lord to me now and live in me now and show me Your ways now and get rid of everything that is contrary to You in me, now.” This is present tense salvation and it always stays in that position of present salvation, for there is no future salvation until the future becomes present salvation. “Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, As the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the Lord our God, Until He has mercy on us.” (Ps 123:1-2) The nature of a true believer is that he is looking to the “I AM” God, and he is expecting to receive help from the “right now” God. And he is expecting to receive that help from God in the present.

Let’s contrast that with these verses. “Our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.” (Ps 123: 4) “For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire; he blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD. The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God; God is in none of his thoughts. His ways are always prospering; Your judgments are far above, out of his sight; as for all his enemies, he sneers at them. He has said in his heart, “I shall not be moved; I shall never be in adversity.” (Psalm 10:3-6) The characteristic of the wicked is; he feels safe and secure in his present position and he doesn’t see he needs God. He doesn’t see the need for the God of the right now, because he doesn’t see any present danger. He thinks he’s in a position of safety. “Therefore hear this now, you who are given to pleasures, who dwell securely, who say in your heart, ‘I am, and there is no one else besides me; I shall not sit as a widow, nor shall I know the loss of children’; But these two things shall come to you in a moment, in one day: the loss of children, and widowhood.” (Isa 47:8-9)

An example of this is how the Pharisees mistakenly felt they were in a very safe position, in that their doctrine convinced them they were saved just because they were Abraham’s descendants. So they thought as concerning salvation they had nothing to worry about. They didn’t see any need for a personal relationship with God for according to their doctrine Abraham had already done that for them and their salvation as his descendants was secure. But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel, nor are they all children because they are the seed of Abraham; but, “In Isaac your seed shall be called.” That is, those who are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God; but the children of the promise are counted as the seed. (Rom 9:6-8)

We have a whole lot of Christians today who are following religious doctrines that make them feel secure in salvation when they have no real relationship with the “I AM.” They say Jesus has obeyed for me so I don’t have to be obedient – yet 2nd Corinthians 10:5 says our every thought must be brought into the obedience to Christ! So they trust in lies and twisted scriptures where they don’t really know Christ at all! “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” (John 5:39-40)

There is no eternal life apart from being personally submitted to the I AM Christ! And any kind of religion that teaches someone to feel secure in their salvation when it doesn’t teach them that they need to have a close relationship with the “I AM” God is destroying them, it’s not saving them. Satan goes around like a roaring lion; (1Pet 5:8) and “Unto You I lift up my eyes, O You who dwell in the heavens. Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters, as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eyes look to the LORD our God, until He has mercy on us.” Is another way of saying that “Lord I know, I am living in a perilous age where there are many dangers to my soul. Satan is just waiting for an opportunity to destroy me and Lord I am looking to you in the right now present to protect me, to sanctify me, to keep me from stumbling so that satan will not get any advantage over me.” And for that reason God can keep me from stumbling, (Jude 24) because true religion does not convince me that I am invincible. It convinces me that I am actually certain to be destroyed unless I fervently cling to Jesus. So that God says, “this is the one upon whom I will look; the one who is contrite in heart and who trembles at My Word.” (Isa 66:2) So if your salvation doesn’t make you tremble at His Word and doesn’t cause you to be humble and contrite and dependant upon God – you are not saved. God is not going to look favorably upon you because the proud He knows from afar. (Ps 138:6) If your salvation has convinced you that you are safe without your having a very close and obedient relationship with the “I AM” God to keep you safe then your salvation is actually setting you up for the devil to pick you off.

So every time we look at this proud religion around us, this “know it all” religion, and these people who think they are secure in their superficial “faith” in a historical Christ and their erroneous interpretation of a few “salvation by faith” scriptures we know that these are the people at ease who scorn the Spiritual believers. They are the very ones the Psalms speak of. “Our souls are exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease” (Ps 123:4) In fact, the real Christianity, true Spiritual Christianity, always looks to God and is very dependant upon God and is continually crying out, praying, staying in the Word, staying close to the things of the Spirit, in order that we can be protected by God, by obeying Him, by living under His wing, by listening to His present tense “I AM” instructions to us, by being led by His Spirit, letting Him live in us. And this true Spiritual Christianity is mocked by those who have a very mistaken belief that they don’t need to do these things because they feel safe in their heretical and presumptuous doctrines and they think that they are securely saved and that nothing can happen to them. But what they have is not a real Christian faith which produces the promise of the Spirit, the reality of the “I AM” Christ Spirit in the believers – but they have an erroneous “knowledge” which they think of as faith – which they interpret as scripture telling them they are “saved” by this “faith” when it, in fact, does not connect them with the living “I AM” Christ. “You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life.” (John 5:39-40) And these false believers scorn and they mock the true believers who tremble at God’s Word. But, as he who was born according to the flesh then persecuted him who was born according to the Spirit, even so it is now. (Gal 4:29) That scorning and that mocking comes because they are proud. They have a knowledge that puffs up; (1Cor 8:1) because they foolishly consider themselves to be in an invincible position.

Now this works in a lot of different areas. A non-biblical proverb says that power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. One of the great dangers of giving too much power to men is that when a man gets into a place of invincibility, where he thinks he doesn’t have to answer to anybody, and nobody can do anything to harm him, his sinful flesh which in some men is controlled only by fear of punishment, feels free to do whatever it wants, because there is nobody to take vengeance on him. And if he doesn’t believe in God, then he thinks nobody can touch him and nothing can hurt him and he can get away with anything he wants to do and he can do anything he wants to do. That’s why there is often so much extraordinarily cruel and wicked sin among rich and powerful people, dictators and such. Because of the fact that they feel untouchable and they are in such a position as who can interfere with me? Who can do anything to me? The problem is that people can get into that position in their own mind even when it’s a total falsehood.  And it is a falsehood because God will judge all men. (2Cor 5:10) And when so-called Christian people have a doctrine that causes them to think that they are saved and they can’t be lost and that they can do whatever they want and God will never punish them; that doctrine produces in them a haughtiness, a pride and a proclivity to do things that a real Christian, who trembles at God’s Word, would fear to even think about doing. And yet these presumptuous false “Christians” would do such things blatantly.

Much of the persecution that we get from those around us is defined in Psalm 123. “For we are exceedingly filled with contempt, our soul is exceedingly filled with the scorn of those who are at ease, with the contempt of the proud.” (Ps 123:3-4) (Gal 4:29) We are persecuted by those who do not believe that they have to walk in the Spirit. In their pride they believe that they do not need to be disciples of the Word of God. They believe that they do not need to know and recognize the “I AM” in their lives and look to Him and depend upon Him throughout the day if they are to walk in a way that is acceptable before God. They do not believe they need to tremble at His Word. (Isa 66:2) Which really means to fear to disobey His word or in any way to incur God’s displeasure. Their churches have taught them that a mere superficial profession of believing in Jesus guarantees them eternal life. And such lies have filled the people with a false sense of assurance so that they feel very secure even though their superficial theories of salvation have not been carefully examined in the light of the scriptures or ever tested in the light of true Spiritual experience.

And when the test comes, as it most certainly will, they will find that their wall has been built with untempered mortar and their safety was a lie and everything they thought they were trusting in is going to come down around their ears. (Heb 12:26-27) Because they are feeling secure when they are actually in a state of not being tested as to whether they are true Christians worthy of God’s Kingdom (2Thes 1:4-5) that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, (1Pet 1:7) Yet believing that they have passed the test already and there’s no way they can fail, these are the ones that always end up failing. Meanwhile, the true people of God, those who actually have God’s Spirit, the “I AM,” the Christians and preachers who are speaking the now Word of God; we are trying to tell these presumptuous people “you are not saved.” And these presumptuous simpletons are scorning and saying, “You don’t know anything. We are the ones who know. You are the ignorant ones. If you knew what we knew you would be secure like us.” Not realizing it’s just the opposite. The presumptuous are believing lies and we the diligent believers know the truth.

Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.” (John 8:12) To follow Jesus is to see and obey Him now and to believe in Him is to follow Him in the Spirit as the present tense I AM “Light” of the world. If you are not walking in His “I AM” Light – being led by His Spirit – you are in darkness – not a “believer.” Then Jesus said to them again, “I am going away, and you will seek Me, and will die in your sin. Where I go you cannot come.” “Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.” (John 8:21,24) When the scripture says if you do not believe that I AM “He,” who is the “He” Jesus is talking about? Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found Him of whom Moses in the law, and also the prophets, wrote-- Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” (John 1:45) You must believe HE is the one Moses and the prophets wrote of “The Messiah” – but what did Moses write? “For Moses truly said to the fathers, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a Prophet like me from your brethren. Him you shall hear in all things, whatever He says to you. And it shall be that every soul who will not hear that Prophet shall be utterly destroyed from among the people.’” (Acts 3:22-23)

To hear Him means to “obey” Him. “But why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and do not do the things which I say? Whoever comes to Me, and hears My sayings and does them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was founded on the rock. But he who heard and did nothing is like a man who built a house on the earth without a foundation, against which the stream beat vehemently; and immediately it fell. And the ruin of that house was great.” (Luke 6:46-49) If you do not obey Him and do His words your house is a ruin. You are not saved. Thus to believe in Jesus such as in, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16) means you must believe in such a way as to hear and do His words or you and your house will perish as in Luke 6:49. And it means that you must believe that Jesus is the Messiah that Moses and the prophets spoke of – the one you must know as your “Light of the world” – “But if one walks in the night, he stumbles, because the light is not in him.” (John 11:10) Jesus is the light, the one whose words you must hear and obey. And everywhere the Bible speaks about “believing” in Christ in order to be saved or have eternal life that is the kind of believing it is talking about: obedient believing. Even the demons believe” (James 2:19) but they don’t obey.

To be saved you need a faith that trusts and obeys the “I AM” living Christ – not just a profession of the mere knowledge that Jesus is the Savior – but faith to follow and obey His every word. And we know that the only way to be secure in your salvation is to be very dependant, very diligent, very close to our God; humbling ourselves under the mighty hand of God, because satan goes about like a roaring lion. The real Christianity is found in the place of trembling at God’s Word – meaning you fear to disobey God. The real Christianity is found in the place of recognizing the “I AM,” the Jesus who I need to be the “I AM” God to me. “I don’t need You to be a historical God, Jesus, I need You to rule over me now, because I don’t want to be doing things my way but God’s way,” and this means that I have to be crucified with Christ. I have to lose my will in order to do His will, which is exactly what the uncrucified religious people will not do.

Now this is the crux of the matter – only the person who is crucified with Christ can receive and follow the “I AM” Christ. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; (now) and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.” (Gal 2:20) Only the person who has given his present will up can do the will of the present tense God. And the people who cling to the flesh and cling to their own opinions and cling to their own ways and cling to their own will; they can talk, sing, dance, memorize scriptures, do all kinds of things that concern religion and they can claim they are disciples of a 2000 year ago Christ, but they will not really know Him in the “I AM,” because they can’t know Him in the “I AM” until they give up their “I am;” and until they let their “I am” become His “ I AM.” God has to be a present “I AM” God or He is no God at all. It’s a very easy thing to claim allegiance to the God of yesterday while you are resisting the instruction and the leading of the “I AM JESUS” that is here today. It’s a very easy thing to claim you recognize the apostles of yesterday while you are resisting and fighting against the Spiritual and scriptural teachings of the apostles of today. And it’s a lie to claim that you would obey the God of yesterday while you disobey the God of today, and there is no salvation in that. Liars are people whose father is the devil. “You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” “He who is of God hears God's words; therefore you do not hear, because you are not of God.” (John 8:44,47)

There’s even a sense in which when the devils believe and they tremble it means that the devils reject present tense obedience to God, but they know God exists and they know a day of judgment is coming. The churches and the Christians who reject present tense obedience to God; they may fool themselves into thinking that the day of judgment isn’t going to be a problem to them, but they are in the same state as those devils, because the day of judgment is sure to come. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. (2Cor 5:10) And “if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries.” (Heb 10:26-27) Which is saying that’s what the devils are looking forward to. They know the Day of Judgment will certainly come upon them, and they “tremble” but what are they doing? They are hoping to delay it in a sense. They know the day will surely come when God will deal with them for their disobedience but they want to enjoy their disobedience as long as they can, even though they know it’s assuredly coming to an end. To a very great extent, the spirit that is in the people who will not receive the “I AM” God is the spirit of those same demons saying, “Let’s keep doing our will as long as we can get away with it,” and yet in the end what you will get is a certain fearful expectation of judgment and fiery indignation, if you don’t submit to Jesus now – and it’s got to be in the now! You can’t keep putting it off to the future. If you do, eventually the future will become the Day of Judgment and then it’s going to be too late to submit. So today is the day of salvation. (2Cor 6:2) True Christians are hastening the coming of the Lord not delaying it. (2Pet 3:12)

You better submit to Christ today and you better get into the present tense with this. “And if you offer a sacrifice of a peace offering to the LORD, you shall offer it of your own free will. It shall be eaten the same day you offer it, and on the next day. And if any remains until the third day, it shall be burned in the fire. And if it is eaten at all on the third day, it is an abomination. It shall not be accepted.” (Lev 19:5-7) meaning that there is an acceptable time to receive or to participate in this sacrifice and then there is an unacceptable time when God won’t accept it. “When a bull or a sheep or a goat is born, it shall be seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thereafter it shall be accepted as an offering made by fire to the LORD.” (Lev 22:27) In other words it must be offered at the proper time or it will not be accepted. “Seven days they shall make atonement for the altar and purify it, and so consecrate it. When these days are over it shall be, on the eighth day and thereafter, that the priests shall offer your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar; and I will accept you,’ says the Lord GOD.” (Ezek 43:26-27) He will not accept them if they do not wait until the eighth day, and if they do not go through these processes. There is an acceptable way of doing it and an acceptable time and it must be done that way.

“But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, hear me in the truth of Your salvation.” (Ps 69:13) There is an acceptable time to pray. We might remember that in Hebrews it talks about, “Lest there be any fornicator or profane person like Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright. For you know that afterward, when he wanted to inherit the blessing, he was rejected, for he found no place for repentance, though he sought it diligently with tears.” (Heb 12:16-17) When he sought it later it was not the acceptable time; it was too late. You can see this in the Jews when they wouldn’t go in to the promised land when it was God’s acceptable time. So God said, “OK you are going to die in the desert,” and that’s when they changed their mind and wanted to go into the land but it was not the acceptable time anymore. And many of them died before their enemies trying to go in when it was no longer the right time. (Deut 1:41,45) There is an acceptable time with God and there’s an unacceptable time.

“We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain. For He says: “In an acceptable time I have heard you, and in the day of salvation I have helped you.” Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2Cor 6:1-2) This connects directly with the “I AM.” How do you know that now is the acceptable time to repent, because the “I AM” is telling you now to repent, because the prophet is speaking now, because the Holy Spirit is convicting you NOW. Now is the time to get right with God. Now is the time to get close to God. Don’t fall into the trap of thinking that now is always going to be the acceptable time; it is not always going to be the acceptable time. It was not always the acceptable time for the Jews; it was not always the acceptable time for Esau. It is not always going to be the acceptable time for you. But when the “I AM” LORD is telling  you now to go into the promised land – IT IS TIME! When the “I AM” LORD is speaking now in the present and saying, “This is what I am instructing you to do.” It is time.

Now is the time to come under My wings Jerusalem, Jerusalem! It will not be acceptable 30 years from now.” And IT WASN’T! Now is the time to be Spiritual. The people around us are just like Jerusalem. They want to continue having their disobedient demonic fun, being in charge of their own lives while God is offering now to bring them under His wings and straighten out their wicked, foolish, manmade churches and get them into a kind of religion where the Spirit of God can actually be in control and watch over them and keep them. Now is the acceptable time. Now God is offering it. There is no guarantee it will be there tomorrow. There’s no guarantee anything God is offering you is going to be there tomorrow. God is the “ I AM”. You think that you can resist Him today and then receive Him tomorrow? What makes you think you can do that? You have no guarantees whatsoever because it doesn’t depend upon you. It depends on Him. This much you know – if He’s offering it now, then now’s the time to take it! Now’s the time to come into it! Now’s the time to get a hold of it!

The scornful people like those in Psalm 123:4 are rejecting because they don’t want to let go of their today. They don’t want to give their now up to God. They want to hold on to their today. They want to live their today for themselves. They want to have their “present” for themselves to do it their way. Well, if they do that they cannot have the “I AM”. Even in the lives of the true believers, you can get up in the morning and have the “I “AM” and in the afternoon decide you want to do your own thing and turn away from the “I AM” to the “I was”, and go back to the flesh and back to doing what you want to do. And whenever you do that you are denying God’s right to rule over you in the right now. And you have lost and have stopped exercising the faith for God to be alive to you in the now and in charge of you now and to lead you now.

And the people who are at ease and who are scorning us and who have contempt for us; they do not feel they need the God that we need, because they feel safe in some kind of a doctrinal lie or some sense of an imaginary security. They feel safe without clinging to the living “I AM” God, so they don’t need to think of Him as being real now. Well God is real in the now even though they don’t think of Him as immediately real, but because they don’t think of Him as Emmanuel “God with us” real they get none of the benefits of His present tense help, which makes them very vulnerable to the destructions of satan the lion, who they don’t believe is going to get them, but who is very hungrily licking his lips when he sees them in their Godless vulnerability. And even in the lives of the true believers the days, the hours, the minutes that you decide to forget about God being “I AM” and you start letting yourself be the “I am;” those are the days, those are the hours, those are the times when you go back to the flesh. That’s when you get grumpy and selfish. That’s when you get hard to get along with. That’s when you get irritable. That’s when you get unhappy, or that’s when you become a problem to the others around you. And that’s when you start having accidents, you step on a nail or something like that which shouldn’t happen to a Spirit led believer. You get into some kind of incident that shows you are not presently under the protective wing of God. And I guarantee He is letting these things happen to you to get your attention and to awaken you to see that you are not in proper faith. When I’m under God’s wing I don’t stumble. When I’m under God’s wing I don’t step on a nail. When I’m under God’s wing I’m safe. When I’m in the flesh those things happen, because the destroyer is free to attack me if I am in the flesh. And the enemy has that permission to have at me because I’ve stopped depending on and looking to the “I AM” LORD to keep me. (Ps 91)

Father in heaven we thank You for being the “I AM” to us. And for being willing to be the “I AM” to us every moment of our days and every moment of our lives, because we need a God who is “I AM”, we need a God who is here now, we need a God who leads us now, who protects us now, who sanctifies us now, shines His light upon us now, breathes His Spirit into us now. We need the God who is the “I AM” God and we claim and we take hold of You by faith that you are that “I AM” God that we need. Grant us O LORD to hold on, to cling to You and to stay under the wing of the Almighty “I AM”. And we do pray LORD that you would open the eyes of these people who are at ease in Zion and who are believing they are safe because of some erroneous doctrine, when they do not recognize the immediate presence of the living God in their lives or depend upon Your Spirit in truth.

In this is the battle between Spiritual Christianity and carnal. O God, grant us to be mightily victorious in showing forth the truth and exposing this wicked Pharisee spirit that says, “ We believe in the Jesus of 2000 years ago.” But doesn’t recognize Your Spirit and “We know Jesus is from God but we don’t know about these preachers like Bill Taylor. Who does he think he is?” “We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from.” The man answered and said to them, “Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes!” (John 9:29-30) Has anyone here today opened your eyes?

Prophecy: My people I warn you. Look to the patterns I have given you in the scriptures for you are living in a perilous time where there are many false prophets who twist and pervert My holy word to their own purposes, who follow the spirit of the world while they claim to be following Me.  And you must discern the difference. Even now I reveal unto you one of the fallacies of the false prophets of this age who say to you speak the positive and ignore the negative, speak the good things of Christianity and promote the do’s of Christianity but do not speak about the don’ts, do not criticize that which is not right, do not offend those who are doing things erroneously. And I tell you My people that I have placed both the do’s and the don’ts in My word. And I intend for both the do’s and the don’ts to be preached. My prophets have always preached both the do’s and the don’ts and they have told those who have been doing wrong what the wrong was and they have exposed that wrong and rebuked that wrong as they have also told what the right is and they have admonished and have been examples of how to do that right. And those of this day who claim to be Mine who say we are not to speak the don’ts are not of Me. No father could raise a child unless he told that child what not to do as well as what to do, and I say these are hypocrites, corrupters of the gospel, perverters of the words of God.  Do not listen to them, but stand up and preach My word. Preach it faithfully both the positives and the negatives, the do’s and the don’ts. that people may see their sins and repent and see what is right and do it, thus saith the Lord. For I am with you to do this and I will reward those who do this. And those who preach the philosophies of this age and please men with their ideas of let’s not offend anyone, let’s not preach the don’ts, they will be swiftly brought down and I will tell them what they should not do and what they have been doing that they should not have done. And I will shame them, saith the Lord. For what they have been doing that is wrong will be exposed for I will preach to them the do’s and the don’ts, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: You think the things that have taken place concerning your adversaries, I have not seen these things? I have not known these things? I have not seen them even in advance?  I have not even orchestrated the trap and the pit which these wicked have fallen into? You think I have not seen the heart of these wicked leaders who claim to be Mine and are not? You think I have not heard their plans, their evil surmisings, their connivings, their slanders? You think all of this has gone on and I have not seen it? You think I am letting this happen and I am not going to judge? I am telling you even now My judgment has fallen. Even now My wrath has gone forth. Even now I am dividing wheat from chaff. Even now I am troubling those who have troubled you. Even now severities are coming upon them and they do not know from whence they are coming. They do not know why. Even now they are befuddled in what is taking place. I have not exposed this wickedness just to ignore it. I have not let the wicked fall into My trap just to open it up and let them go. This is the work of My hand. This is the work of My judgment. This is how I deal with hypocrites. This is how I uncover them. This is how I reveal before the whole congregation what is inside of them. I am telling you, I am not waiting until next year to shame them. I am shaming them now. I am not waiting until the judgment to deal with them. They will be dealt with in the judgment, but I am also judging them now. I am bringing them down now because I keep My word and I do what I say. I have said what I will do for I am truly not a God of word only but I am an awesome warrior, a God of deeds. My deeds shall be seen and they shall be seen now, saith the Lord.  (Prophecies delivered at "My Father’s House")
