Hidden Manna!/Lord Of The Sabbath! By Pastor Bill Taylor A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 7//Issue 11 Prophecy: I’m pleased My people with you who’ve had faith to overcome the sin in your lives, to become like minded with My Spirit, and submit yourselves unto My Word and the man of God whom I’ve sent to teach you My ways and wash you in the water of My Word. And who’ve had faith to live in My Spirit, to be holy, to be clean, to be separate from this world. But as My Word says, if you live in the Spirit then walk in the Spirit. I’ve taught you much about walking in the Spirit. I’ve poured out My heart to you through My man whom I sent you to teach you. But knowledge about walking in My Spirit isn’t walking in My Spirit. You must give Me your faith. To walk in My Spirit you must step out on the things I’ve shown you. I’ve put before you many examples of how to do this and I’m with you in this. I’ll lead you by My right hand. I guide the steps of the righteous. But when the righteous lose their faith they’re no longer the righteous. I can’t lead you unless you have faith. So gird up the loins of your faith and walk in the Spirit. For I’ve a work to finish here and I’ll use you to finish it. Let your faith increase every day because I’m on the move. I’ll set things right in My church and I’ll use you to do that. Stir up your faith and take hold of Me that I may be your Head and lead you in every way, saith the Lord. Prophecy: Faithless people can’t enter My Kingdom. Many falsely believe they’ll enter. They think they’re right before Me and what they do is acceptable. But the person who has real faith has faith for Me to live in him. My people have a faith that produces Christ in them and Christ in them brings forth godly acts; godly works that glorify My name. Those who have such faith make a name for Me not for themselves. And many will come to Me in the last day looking for the Jesus they believed in by the imaginations of their mind to let them into My Kingdom but they won’t find Him. They’ll be expecting an anything goes “free love” Christ but instead they’ll find a righteous Judge ready to punish those who’ve persecuted His true bride, ready to throw into hell those who didn’t have the faith to produce Christ in them. That day is coming soon. So draw closer to Me, grow stronger in Me, let your faith produce more of Christ in you every day. In doing so you’ll become true sons and daughters of the Kingdom. Your place in heaven will be assured. While those around you who don’t have that faith will be cast into outer darkness because Christ isn’t in them. The axe is laid to the root of the unfruitful tree, says the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”) Hidden Manna! To him who overcomes I’ll give some of the hidden manna to eat. (Rev2:17) Recently I was coming off a beach where I’ve often been blessed to catch many fish with a cast net. The Lord taught me this years ago when I mentioned how fish had became so expensive I felt it wasn’t prudent for me to continue eating it, even though my wife and I were particularly fond of seafood. God answered me saying take your cast net to the ocean to the place I show you and throw it once and you’ll catch two pompanos. Pompanos are one of the most delicious (and expensive) fish in the Atlantic. I owned a cast net and the common knowledge in this area is you cast net in the river. But I obeyed the Lord and cast in the ocean and it happened just as He told me. He led me to a place where I threw my net once into the ocean and caught two fine pompano. Later Jesus showed me how to catch many other fine ocean fish; Flounder, Mackerel, Margate, Drum, Sheepshead, Whiting, Blues; all kinds of very delicious fish. I caught so many I was even selling to the markets. I was also making and repairing my own nets. Yet recently while coming off the beach a man who was watching made a crude remark about how stupid it is to try to catch fish in the ocean with a cast net. I said nothing to him. I had a cooler full of fish which I didn’t show him because he wasn’t worthy. I’ve encountered many like him and I see them as representative of the common human depravity. Unsaved humans are very corrupt. They have a bias towards themselves as being smart when in fact they’re ignorant! They’re filled with the knowledge that’s common, things everyone knows but when they encounter something that doesn’t agree with their common knowledge they display much pride and foolishness. Another word in the bible for common is “profane.” Common knowledge is so easy to obtain that everyone already has it. You don’t have to make a special effort or go to school to get it. You get it by being a part of society. But people who have common knowledge are prideful and when they see something that disagrees with what they know they always assume the person who’s doing something “different” is stupid. If they’d think they’d realize when someone’s doing something different than the common knowledge there are two possibilities why. The first is they don’t know the common knowledge which is unlikely since it’s so common! The second is although they know the common things they also know something that isn’t common; a higher knowledge or hidden manna. Since there are two possibilities when someone’s walking contrary to common knowledge, it must be determined whether his unusual behavior is because he doesn’t know the common knowledge or does he actually know something others don’t, as with Jesus versus the Pharisees. Like the Pharisees most people never consider someone may know more than they do because they’re prideful and even though all they have is common knowledge that knowledge puffs them up. (1Cor8:1) Most people are proud of what they commonly know which isn’t anything to be proud of because such knowledge isn’t special. Everyone has it. But humans are wickedly proud. They can’t consider anyone could know more than “me” for that wouldn’t be compatible with their pride. So they jump to wrong conclusions like the one who’s different is stupid. With a little observation the man who misjudged me could have seen if I took enough time to learn to throw a net why don’t I know to fish the river? Also if he looked at the net he’d see it’s been well repaired and he’d know, “This man isn’t a beginner, an ignorant tourist trying to cast net for the first time.” Then he’d have to consider the probability is I do know about cast netting in the river, because everyone around here knows that, but it’s because I know something more that I’m not in the river. Simple observation would lead him to see his conclusion that I’m ignorant is wrong. I’m not bothered by these people. But the Spirit is exposing the iniquity of common man. For example, when men tried to make Jesus king (Jn6:15) but He wouldn’t let them because He knew what was in man. (Jn2:24,25) I know what’s in man also. Men don’t impress me. Unsaved men are closer to the animals than they realize, (Eccl 3:18) and the only escape from being beast-like is in Christ. When you put on Christ (Eph4:24) you become more than merely human (1Cor3:3) which is necessary if you’re to be “saved” because to be merely human is a bad thing. (Mt5:20) The old man is corrupt, stupid, wicked. (Eph4:22) To be saved you must put him off and put on a higher nature. (v24) Since Adam, man has fallen into wickedness and in many ways he’s worse than the animals because he’s morally depraved. A monkey doesn’t have morals. But men are immoral. To be saved we must become like Christ. (1Jn3:2,3) Then there’s the “armchair quarterback.” It’s very difficult to become a sports professional. Not that I have any interest in sports. (I fish for food; not sport!) Sports are a dreadful waste of time. (1Tim4:8) But common man in his prideful depravity often forgets how hard it is for someone to become really skillful at any sport. You can’t do it being ignorant because there’s always a strategy. Sports aren’t just physical; they’re mental. A quarterback must know a lot about the game and about the team he’s playing. He must have some hidden manna, special knowledge. If he doesn’t he’s not likely to win. He has to pull some unusual plays out of his bag if he’s to overcome the opposing team. Yet all over the U.S.A., wherever there’s a televised football game, there are “armchair quarterbacks” guzzling beer, munching potato chips and shouting at their TV’s to tell the professional who’s spent fifteen years learning his craft what he ought to do and thinking they’re smarter than he is. How vain! How proud! How haughty men are! Now I’m ministering in prison. I enter the chapel like a fisherman with a well used net, carrying my tattered bible marked up from cover to cover. I’ve been preaching here for twenty years, but recently this prison’s been given over to Baptist and Ecumenist chaplains. Ecumenists wrongly believe unity with other denominations is more important than God’s Word so they ignore much of the Word to worship at the altar of unity. Unity is their idol! Whereas Christ tells us nothing’s more important than His Word. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My Words will by no means pass away. (Mt24:35) We’re forbidden even to have fellowship with those who disobey God’s Word. (2Th3:14) God says we must unify according to His Word, not by ignoring it. (1Cor1:10; 1Tim1:3; Jude3,4) So Baptists and Ecumenists have infiltrated many institutions and it’s not separation of church and state in these places but virtually a state operated church whereby government employees are permitted to promote their own ideas and suppress others while purporting to support religious “freedom.” “Look how many different kinds of “christians” are here.” But if they’re all Ecumenists they aren’t different kinds; Catholics, Baptists, Presbyterians, Lutheran etc; if they all believe in ignoring God’s Word to have unity they aren’t different. Yet to the undiscerning it looks like many religions, but they’re really all one Ecumenical religion with members who wear different names to perpetrate the devil’s fraud of pretending to be of various faiths when they aren’t! They give the illusion of religious freedom when actually they’re all promoters of Ecumenism! And if they encounter a true Christian who rightly believes obedience to Jesus and God’s Word is more important than unity, that “narrow way” faith will be opposed by the “broad way” Ecumenists and their allies. They suppress the minority while claiming they’re encouraging diversity but in reality all their members are Ecumenical and only diverse in name not doctrine so they’re really a “mobocracy,” a majority oppressing the religious minority. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life and there are few who find it. (Mt7:13,14) Because so many institutions are overrun with Baptists and Ecumenist ministries the average inmate is exposed only to the “broad way” kind of “christianity.” Then I come in preaching the narrow way and these armchair quarterback Baptists and such think I’m stupid because what I preach is contrary to their common knowledge “christianity.” Often they’ve a Baptist chaplain who stacks the deck so the inmates are exposed to Ecumenical and Baptist ministries 7 days a week. They think they’re Christians, but resent me because I’m preaching something different from what they’re used to and they’re proud of what they “know,” yet all they have is the common knowledge so many false “believers” think defines Christianity, like that armchair quarterback who doesn’t know anything but the common knowledge about football, or that man on the beach who doesn’t know anything except the common knowledge about net fishing. So these “broad way christians” don’t know anything about Christianity except the things even the lukewarm who Jesus will spit out of His mouth know. (Rev3:16) Common knowledge isn’t enough to save you because much of it is wrong. (v17) Like the guy drinking beer in front of his TV couldn’t win a professional football game but the professional on the field can because he has uncommon knowledge. Like many of those who cast net the river come back empty but I can go to the ocean and net a meal any day because I know how to. I know things others don’t know. I have hidden manna knowledge. And when I preach my message is from God and not common knowledge but hidden manna. It’s not sensible for Jesus to teach things everyone already knows. You can get common knowledge anywhere. Jesus teaches hidden manna – things only those who really come to Him and know Him can hear. (Rev2:17) I’ve written 120+ Glory of His Grace books, and each of them has a revelation that isn’t common; things you don’t hear in other churches because they didn’t come from out there. They came from Christ in me. And when I expose their sins (Is58:1) these Baptists say, “You’re judging us!” as though I’ve never read “Judge Not” (Mt7:1) whereas I’ve read my bible many times more than they’ve read theirs and know verses they don’t. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. (Eph5:11) Also When Peter had come to Antioch, I withstood him to his face, because he was to be blamed. (Gal 2:11) So Peter’s to be blamed when he does wrong but these foolish Baptists aren’t? They’re siding with satan in interpreting “Don’t Judge” as a shield to let them sin without being rebuked! Did Peter say, “Paul, don’t judge me?” No! He received the rebuke and repented. So who are these fools who think they’re better than Peter, who say “don’t judge” when they’re guilty and to be blamed? They’re false christians and illegitimate. You’ve forgotten the exhortation which speaks to you as to sons: “My son, don’t despise the chastening of the LORD, nor be discouraged when you’re rebuked by Him.” But if you’re without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you’re illegitimate and not sons. (Heb12:5,8) I’ve read the verses that say reprove, rebuke, and admonish. (2Tim4:2;Tit1:13) I’ve read the verse that says judge yourself that you not be judged. (1Cor11:31) I’ve read the verse saying we’ll judge angels and the world, so aren’t we fit to judge the smallest matters (1Cor6:2,3) and we should judge those inside (the church) while God judges those outside. (1Cor5:12,13) I’ve read the verse that says judge with righteous judgment. (Jn7:24) I know about judging. I know more about judging than anyone you’ve ever met. God has taught me much about judging and misjudging. (Jn6:45) And what’s going on in those Baptists and Ecumenists is the same spirit in that foolish man on the beach or the armchair quarterbacks; the spirit of having common knowledge and seeing someone who doesn’t obey your way of thinking and immediately presuming you’re smart and he’s ignorant without taking time to observe the reason he’s not walking the way you do is he knows things you don’t and you’re the one who’s ignorant. But due to their pride they can’t receive such thoughts. When someone’s not walking according to common knowledge the probability is he knows more than you; not less, because common knowledge is so widely available it’s unlikely he isn’t aware of it, so it’s probable he knows more than you. That’s the probability: he knows more than you! But the proud don’t have the sense to see that. No one who’s proud has wisdom. Only the humble have wisdom. For God to open your eyes you must be humble enough to consider someone else may be smarter than you. (Jn9:41) If a humble person did watch football he’d look at the quarterback as being one who knows a lot about the game and he’d want to watch what the quarterback does to learn from him. A true Christian would listen to see if he could learn something from someone who’s been in Christ longer than himself. That would be humility and wisdom. These (the Bereans) were more fair-minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the Word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so. (Act17:11) Too often we encounter the opposite of this. I come into places that claim to be “christian” like the Baptist/Ecumenists in the prison but they behave in ways that aren’t wisdom and Jesus is made unto us wisdom. (1Cor1:30) They behave in ways that aren’t humility and you can’t be “saved” without humility. Unless you’re converted and become as little children you’ll by no means enter the Kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. (Mt18:3,4) They’re behaving like the foolish man on the beach. They’re behaving like the armchair quarterback, only they’re doing it in “church.” And that proves they’re unregenerated; depraved, corrupted, sinful human beings who haven’t been born again because they behave like unsaved human beings. They behave with pride, stupidity, and presumption. They’re doing it in “church,” but it wouldn’t be any different if they were in a biology class thinking they were experts and second guessing their teachers after only one or two lessons. With unregenerated people their religion is only information. (Jn5:39,40) And most people’s religious information is common; common knowledge. Knowing you need to be born again isn’t the same as being born again. Knowing you ought to walk in the Spirit isn’t the same as walking in the Spirit. Most who call themselves “christians” today have some information about Christianity they believe saves them but doesn’t because Christ isn’t in them. (2Cor13:5) The information is you must believe in Jesus. They think they do, but they don’t believe for Him to live in them. (Gal 2:20) They only believe about Him. (Jn5:39,40) So they don’t have a saving faith and they don’t receive Christ’s wisdom. They don’t receive the new nature. They don’t get the things that produce Christ’s life in them (Col 1:27) from what they believe. All they get is information. And when they encounter someone who really knows Jesus and has Jesus living in them, they react the way a heathen does to whatever disagrees with his common knowledge. It’s like going back to when they want to hang someone who says the earth isn’t flat. It’s common knowledge the earth is flat, but it’s wrong. And if someone says it isn’t flat the common people can get violent in their resistance because they can see with their eyes it’s flat. Many religions are making movies which pretend to be for entertainment but are really propaganda. Baptists are making “rapture” movies; Left Behind, etc. (“Rapture” is a coined word for what the bible calls the first resurrection (Rev20:6) or the resurrection of life. (Jn5:29)) They have some information about it but they won’t go in it because they don’t have Christ in them. Information won’t save them. Their theology is wrong. Concerning this resurrection one of the most important things is to “remember Lot’s wife.” (Lk17:32) If you’ve any of the world in you instead of an overwhelming love for Jesus, you’ll look back as Lot’s wife did and be left behind. Baptists think they won’t look back because they have the “knowledge” not to look back. But Jesus will take them by surprise and they won’t have time to think, “Don’t look back.” They love the world so they’ll look back in spite of their “knowledge.” It’s obvious most “believers” today are full of the world. We know Baptists aren’t God’s people because what they teach isn’t producing Christ in them. They profess to have Christ but they behave like unbelievers; just like the foolish man on the beach is how they treat a preacher who knows Jesus and the bible better than them. There’s no Christ in them, no wisdom nothing of what it takes to get into heaven in the first resurrection so they’ll miss it. They’ll be angry, grieved, and dreadfully sorry when they find out they were mistaught. But they chose their false teachers and resisted the Holy Spirit and refused to listen when God sent them true men of God. So their blood is on their own heads. They with the rest of the harlot church will be left to the wrath of the ten horns of the antichrist who’ll eat their flesh and burn them with fire. (Rev17:16) Recently I saw a movie purporting to be a small town drama, but it was really a Mormon propaganda film. These religions coming out with propaganda movies are trying to say, “Look at us, we’re not so bad. We have a nice moral standard.” The false religions are getting together. It’s Ecumenism. It’s the beginning of the gathering unto the antichrist. Their unity is based on the idea, “we all follow a moral decency so we should respect each other on that basis.” The antichrist will unite the false religions before the end and he’ll do it on the idea that we’re all seeking a similar moral good. But that’s not Christianity. Christianity isn’t merely seeking moral good which is actually just legalism. Legalism is trying to keep a moral code to establish your own righteousness. All religions except real Christianity do that. (Rom10:3) They’re all trying to establish their own righteousness by keeping a code of behavior which they themselves define. Of course there are many similarities between them; don’t rob, kill, commit adultery. Most everyone believes in such things. So they’ll agree on their religious codes that they’re all trying to be good. But it’s demonic because it denies the need to be born again and become a new creation (2Cor5:17) in which Christ actually lives in you. (Gal 2:20) This is what Jesus teaches is the only way you can be truly good. (Mt19:17) You must actually get God in you by having faith for Jesus to live in you. (Col 2:9,10) That doesn’t mean believing He lives in you when you’re acting like a heathen. It means He lives in you and you can demonstrate it because the wisdom and holiness of Christ is manifesting in you. For example when there’s more than one explanation to why someone isn’t behaving according to the common knowledge if you don’t have Christ’s wisdom you won’t see the other possibilities so you’ll make grave errors in judgment and incur God’s wrath. Certainly what the Baptists are doing when they wrongly accuse us of judging is bringing judgment on themselves according to the very verse they think they’re keeping. (Mt7:1) They’re the ones who’ll be judged because they’ve misjudged someone wiser than themselves and haven’t demonstrated the wisdom that comes from God. So what they’re accusing others of is what they’ll be found guilty of, (Rom2:1) which means they aren’t saved because there’s no condemnation (or judgment) to those in Christ Jesus who walk not after the flesh but the Spirit. (Rom8:1) But there’s condemnation to people who are violating God’s Word. If they don’t repent they’ll be condemned. Salvation delivers from condemnation. When people claim they’re saved yet behave in ways where it’s obvious God’s Word is condemning them, they don’t have salvation! That they all may be condemned who didn’t believe the Truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. (2Th2:12) And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come?”-- as we’re slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just. (Rom3:8) People who aren’t humble don’t enter God’s Kingdom. Unless you’re converted and become as little children, you’ll by no means enter the Kingdom of heaven. (Mt18:3) This Mormon movie took us into a Sunday school where they were teaching from the bible and the Book of Mormon. And the teacher said children are innocent using the above verse as her text. But innocence isn’t what Jesus is talking about here. Children aren’t innocent in the sense they don’t do evil. Anyone who’s had a child knows children are often nasty and mean. They’ll bite. They’ll kick. They’ll do really bad things to others if you don’t restrain them. But children aren’t held accountable because they don’t know they’re doing evil; they don’t have a developed conscience yet. So their ignorance doesn’t mean they’re good. They aren’t held guilty for their sins until they’re old enough to understand what they’re doing, but they aren’t “innocent.” Innocence as in the Garden of Eden didn’t mean Adam and Eve were doing nasty things but God wasn’t holding them accountable. Adam and Eve were innocent as long as they weren’t sinning. So I know there’s no wisdom in these Mormons. They’re truly foolish if they think children are innocent. But that’s the common knowledge. Almost everyone says children are innocent. Common knowledge quite often is a common lie everyone believes and never looks close at. Jesus said, “Let the little children come to Me, and don’t forbid them; for of such is the Kingdom of God.” Assuredly I say to you, “whoever doesn’t receive the Kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” (Lk18:16,17) It isn’t the children’s innocence Jesus is talking about but their humility. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven. (Mt18:4) When these Baptists rise up in pride against the Truth they’ve no childlikeness. They won’t enter the Kingdom because Jesus said by no means. No one who’s puffed up over what he knows, like an armchair quarterback or that foolish man on the beach, or a Baptist who can’t sit still to find out what’s really going on before he makes up his mind what’s of God and what isn’t, He who answers a matter before he hears it, it’s folly and shame to him. (Pr18:13) no one like that will enter the Kingdom! One thing a little child has is humility – he knows he’s not a grown up. He knows he has to pay attention to adults because they know more than him and he needs to find out what they know. So he asks questions. “Why is the sky blue? Why is water wet? Why do birds sing?” Children want to know everything because they know they don’t know enough. And that’s an important characteristic of humility. The humble aren’t telling you why everything is this way. They’re not telling you what they know. They’re picking your brain because of what they don’t know. And that’s what you must have to enter the Kingdom of heaven; humility. Hidden manna isn’t common and it isn’t found in common “christians.” Hidden manna is kept by God for those who draw near to Him. It’s saved for those who are worthy of it, and those who are overcomers. (Rev2:17) Hidden manna distinguishes the true Christians from the common who aren’t really Christians at all, but are like the masses of humanity; content to know only what everyone else knows. To become a real Christian you must enter the Kingdom of God as a little child not thinking you already know everything just because you have some common “christian” knowledge. You must come looking for the hidden manna because that’s what’s going to get you to heaven. It’s the hidden manna that teaches you to know Jesus personally. It’s hidden manna that’s given to the one who overcomes. (Rev2:17) The masses of unregenerate, unborn again people only know what’s easily available. If you’re a real Christian you’ve risen above the common knowledge to learn things most people don’t know. But when you pray go into your room and when you’ve shut your door, pray to your Father who’s in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. (Mt6:6) He’ll reward you with hidden manna. Too many “christians” won’t come to God for His manna. They just listen to other “christians.” And what they get from other “christians” isn’t God’s Word, but often excuses for why such people don’t think they have to obey God’s Word. Doctrines of demons! For example, it’s common in the churches for people to say, “We can preach a sermon without a word” to excuse their failure to be witnesses for Christ and to avoid persecution for the gospel’s sake. (Gal 6:12) Such “christians” feel justified in being cowards who never stand up for Christ thinking that just being socially nice will win people over! No one was ever saved without hearing the gospel preached. Faith comes by hearing... (Rom10:17) But how can they believe unless they hear. (Rom10:14) Since in the wisdom of God the world through wisdom didn’t know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. (1Cor1:21) No one gets saved until they hear a believer share the gospel aloud or by writing, witnessing by words for Christ and no one gets persecuted who doesn’t speak. It’s a doctrine of demons to tell Christians they can witness without a word. If the apostles had believed that there’d be no church. It’s cowards who don’t want to be persecuted for the gospel’s sake (Gal 6:12) who follow such lies, not Christians. (Rev21:8) It’s the devil’s purpose to convince people Christianity doesn’t work and he has many people claiming to be Christians who really aren’t of which he can show it doesn’t work for them. Many people in the “christian” nations can say, “I know people who tried Christianity and it didn’t profit them.” (Rom2:24) But in reality most people have never encountered a real Christian. They’ve only met common “christians,” and common “christians” are no better than the common people who have only common knowledge. Common “christianity” isn’t Jesus. Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Mt7:13,14) The saved are those who’ve searched out the narrow way, the uncommon knowledge, the hidden manna. A real Christian doesn’t act like the common “christians.” He has the victory. The greater One lives in him. Why would you want to be associated with a “christianity” that fails? Find the church where Christianity is working. The brethren in “My Father’s House” are really saved. Our Christianity is working. What we have isn’t common. Here we have hidden manna. In common “christianity” people go to church to hear a preacher talk about God. Here we go to church to actually meet with God. Christ manifests and fellowships with us. Faith is increased. Believers are set free. Victories manifest. Here we’re truly temples in which Christ dwells and the believers can see Christ is actually in them. This isn’t common “christianity.” This is genuine – the real diamond – the rare and precious Christianity where Christ really feeds His people – not the common food – not the things everybody already knows – but the bread of life – the hidden manna from God Himself who rewards us openly! (Mt6:6) Prophecy: The world is filled with “churches” who eat profane and common foods which they get from unholy places. But I’ve given you My hidden manna; things which others don’t see, which show forth My presence in you. And I’m using you even as My Word says there must be factions that those who are approved might be recognized. I’m using you to be that faction that will be recognized as approved so those who are eating the profane things will be seen to be fakes, not of Me, and those who desire to come to Me can see you’re approved and come to you in order to come to Me. Be encouraged My people, I’ve not given you to eat of the hidden manna to put you under a bushel. I’ve given you to eat of that which will make you shine as you do shine and you shall shine even brighter. And many shall see the glory of My light in you. They’ll see the difference between the profane and the holy, the clean and the unclean. They’ll see it because they see it in you. They’ll see the contrast between that which is common, and that which is special, and that which is sacred, and that which is the genius of God versus the foolishness of men, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”) Lord of the Sabbath! Prophecy: Pride’s coming down, it’s coming down quickly. Deceptions are coming down and they’re coming down quickly. For I’m coming quickly and I’ll have a people prepared for My coming. I’ll no longer endure those who claim to be Mine but want their ears tickled with the good things My Word promises My saints; who ask their “preachers” to tell them how much I love them, how I’ll bless them, what a great future they have in Me, how happy I am they’re My people. But I tell you this, My people behave like My people. And My preachers will tell the people, “You behave like the people of God if you want to hear the blessings.” If you want to partake of the promises behave like My people! For I’ll no longer ignore the ear ticklers. I’ll no longer endure the false “christians.” I’ll no longer permit you to hear of My blessings if you refuse to abide by My Words. And I’ll no longer accept those who want to live from My gospel, but I’ll raise up those who’ll live for My gospel. I tell you, I’ve found a people in this place who live for My gospel and behave as My people. And I’ll use you to shame those who’ve followed after falsehoods and pride. By you I’ll bring down their lies and their pride, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”) Many “christians” are guilty of self-righteousness and don’t know it. They haven’t a clear idea what self-righteousness is so it’s difficult for them to avoid a sin they don’t understand. The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath. (Mk2:27,28) God didn’t make the law to tie His own hands. He has the understanding of when His law is applicable and when it isn’t and He has the power to override the law according to His own higher purposes. It’s a common form of self-righteousness for men to try to use the law against the lawmaker which is what’s being done in numerous examples where the Pharisees come against Jesus for healing on the Sabbath. Over and over they accuse Him of sinning according to their self-righteous interpretation of the law. So while claiming to be obedient to God they’re actually disobeying Him, and attempting to use God’s law against God, because they’ve considered their righteousness to be found in keeping the law according to their own understanding whereas true righteousness is only found in obedience to God, Himself, according to His and not your understanding of His law. Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. (Pr3:5) So to keep the law in a way that’s disobedience to the Spirit is sin, and contrary to the righteousness that comes through God by faith. They being ignorant of God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, haven’t submitted to the righteousness of God. (Rom10:3) At the pool of Bethesda Jesus says to the paralytic, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” (Jn5:8) Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. (Jms2:18) In performing this healing like many others He did, Jesus commands the man to take a step of faith. If you believe you’ve received (Mk11:24) act on your belief. (Jms2:17) Take up your bed and walk! Jesus commands this though it seems to violate the Sabbath law. But Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. So the law was given to keep people from inordinate labors on the Sabbath but it wasn’t meant to prevent them from taking a “step of faith” to set them free. When Jesus says, “take up your bed and walk” though He seems to violate the letter of the Sabbath law, He’s keeping the Spirit of the higher law of love. He’s not violating the law by telling the man to work on the Sabbath in a way he shouldn’t be working. Jesus is setting the man free thru a step of faith. This is a demonstration of the righteousness of God as being Lord of the Sabbath. He’s able to violate a lower law for the sake of a higher purpose since in fact all God’s laws are subordinate to His royal law of love. And truly keeping the higher law isn’t breaking any law – for the lower laws must always be an expression of the higher. If you really fulfill the royal law according to the Scripture, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” you do well. (Jms2:8) Therefore if keeping the higher law makes you think a lower law is being broken, you don’t rightly comprehend the law – neither the higher nor the lower, which must always be an expression of and in agreement with the law of love. This also teaches us when men make laws that violate God’s higher laws we should obey God and not man. God’s law is the higher authority and in obeying His law we’re being righteous and won’t be held guilty by God for violating man’s law. (Act4:19;5:29) Thus Paul says, “All things are lawful for me...” I’m not restricted in such a way by lower laws that I can’t do God’s will. All things are lawful for me, but all things aren’t helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I won’t be brought under the power of any. (1Cor6:12) If it’s beneficial to keep the lower law I’ll keep it but where it’s more helpful to God’s purposes to break the lower law then I’m not in bondage. All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me but not all things edify. (1Cor10:23) Insofar as it’s truly helpful to break the lower law then I’m free to do it to better edify God’s people, because Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. (Rom10:4) Therefore my brethren you’ve also become dead to the law through the body of Christ that you may be married to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, that we should bear fruit to God. (Rom7:4) Under the New Covenant the law isn’t your master – Christ is! When Jesus tells you to do something, His righteousness supercedes that of the written law. Obedience to the living Christ is a higher righteousness. When Jesus tells you to seemingly “violate” the written law, He always has a Godly purpose – a higher good in doing so. The righteousness which comes from God by faith (Phil 3:9) tells you to obey God! To disobey God to keep a lesser law is self-righteousness; you thinking you’re more righteous than God. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, haven’t submitted to the righteousness of God. (Rom10:3) God tells Jesus to heal on the Sabbath but the Pharisees say, “No, we’re more righteous than that. Our law won’t let man heal on the Sabbath and we find our righteousness in obedience to our interpretation of the written law, not in the higher law of love.” God sticks His tongue out at such. He says, “I’m the God who made the law.” What’s the purpose of obeying the law if not to obey God? Are you using your interpretation of the written law as an excuse to disobey God when He speaks to you in the NOW? Are you using My words from yesterday as an excuse to disobey Me today? That’s the self-righteousness that comes from your interpretation of the law. It tries to use God’s Word against Himself. It doesn’t Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. (Pr3:5) It elevates your interpretation of God’s Word above God’s voice – above His leading when He speaks by His Spirit. Self-righteousness says, “I won’t do what You’re telling me to do God, because I’m more righteous than You!” A current example of this is women in the ministry. Paul says, “I don’t allow a woman to teach.” (1Tim2:12) But if a woman minister is anointed by God and her ministry is bearing good fruit (Mt7:17,18) then it’s obvious God has overruled the lower law in her case and called her in order to accomplish a higher purpose. So you’re sinning if you judge her according to your standards without looking at her fruit. (Jn7:24) Not that this means we can depart from God’s law (1Tim 2:12) and appoint women preachers at will or allow any woman who wants to teach to do so, but that as Lord of the Sabbath Christ can. You’ll know them by their fruit. (Mt7:16) Remember God’s law forbid a Moabite to enter the congregation of the Lord (Dt23:3) yet God allowed Ruth to not only become a “Jew” but to become the great grandmother of David (Rth4:13,17) and an ancestor of Christ! The letter of the law would reject Ruth! And that’s where the Jew is. They’re accusing Jesus of sinning because He doesn’t obey their standard of righteousness when Jesus is obeying God and that’s the only acceptable righteousness. They’re disobeying God’s Spirit: You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. (Act7:51) A certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his neighbor by the Word of the LORD, “Strike me, please.” And the man refused to strike him. Then he said, “Because you (are so self-righteous and) haven’t obeyed the voice of the LORD as soon as you depart from me a lion will kill you.” And as soon as he left him a lion found and killed him. (1Kng20:35,36) The prophet says, “Strike me.” The man says, “I’m too righteous to do that.” The prophet says, “You haven’t obeyed the voice of the Lord.” Under normal conditions not striking people is good. But this isn’t an ordinary condition. God said, “Strike me.” Will you disobey God to keep your own righteousness? This man did and died for it. This proves we’re held responsible by God to discern His voice. My sheep know My voice. (Jn10:27) It wouldn’t be righteous of God to kill people for disobeying Him if they couldn’t know it was Him. If we’re to be dead to the law and married to Christ (Rom7:4) we must hear and obey Jesus. They shall all be taught of God. (Jn6:45) We’re expected to discern God’s voice. There’s a difference between a man who’s not of God and a man who’s of God saying, “Strike me!” There has to be a difference! When the servants of the Pharisees said, “No man ever spoke like this Man” (Jn7:46) they were discerning the difference. Often in “My Father’s House” God has told me to do things people who claimed to be “christians” said weren’t of God because God was leading me to do things different from what’s usually considered “christian” behavior. It’s the same as when this prophet says, “Strike me,” without explaining why. Because it’s not the hearer’s business to know why God says to do something, but it’s his business to obey the Lord. And he found another man and said, “Strike me, please.” So the man struck him, inflicting a wound. (1Kng20:37) When the second man strikes it causes a wound that needs to be bandaged. Obviously the second man realized, “This is a prophet of God and I must obey him.” Most people today would consider the first man who refused to strike as righteous and they’d judge the second man as bad! “He struck a prophet.” Yet they’d be completely self-righteous. It’s the man who struck the prophet who’s righteous and goes home in peace while the self-righteous one dies for his disobedience. This is what it means to make Jesus your Lord of the Sabbath! What Jesus tells you to do is a higher priority than any written law or anything men have decided is righteous. When Jesus tells you to do something do it! Of course there was a noble purpose to what the prophet was doing but he never explained it to either of the two men. All he did was command them by the Word of the Lord to “strike me.” One obeyed. One disobeyed. The one who disobeyed died. God’s purpose is to set a trap for Ahab because he’s done something reprehensible to God. Ahab just fought a battle where God gave him the victory over an enemy of God’s people. God sent a prophet to show Ahab how to fight the battle; yet having won Ahab lets the enemy, Ben-Hadad, go. This is like when Nathan convicted David concerning Bathsheba and Uriah. (2Sam12:11-15) Here too the Lord sets up a scenario through His prophet where Ahab unknowingly judges himself guilty. Ahab has let Ben Haddad live just like Saul let Agag live. (1Sam15:1-9) Ben-Hadad has murdered God’s people for years and God has sent Ahab to kill him but he doesn’t. So the word of the prophet is, “Your life for his; since you let him go I’ll kill you.” (1Kng20:42) That’s how serious the sin is. But why did Ahab let him go? It was self-righteousness. “I’m such a merciful king. I’ve conquered my enemy but I’m going to love my enemy and forgive him.” Most churches today would applaud but God says, “You’re dying in his place. You let the murderer of God’s people go. Your righteousness is against Mine. I love My people and I want to save My people from their enemies and you’re saving My people’s enemy so that he may destroy even more of My people!” Some righteousness that is! If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring this doctrine, don’t receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. (2Jn10,11) The next thing Ahab does is get involved in the killing of Naboth, a righteous man. (1Kng21) How often the goody-goody’s today will love their enemies in ways that aren’t according to God but will persecute the righteous because such “believers” are only righteous when it’s convenient but when it’s inconvenient or when God’s righteousness opposes their selfish desires they don’t care who they hurt. Such people rebuke us for rebuking sinners. They “love” and “protect” the wicked who need to be rebuked but persecute the righteous who correct the wicked. Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. (2Tim4:2) So Ahab does something which seems righteous and makes him feel good about himself but then he covets Naboth’s vineyard and because he can’t have it he lets his wife Jezebel murder the man. Is Ahab righteous? No he’s self-righteous! He tries to do a little “good” to make himself feel like he’s not so bad. But he’s bad! Because even when he tries to do good – even when he’s merciful, he’s merciful to the wrong people. Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the LORD? Therefore the wrath of the LORD is upon you. (2Chr19:2) Jehoshaphat was befriending Ahab, an unrighteous king. Jehoshaphat is loving God’s enemies! Should you help the wicked do evil? Should you love those who hate the Lord in a way that allows them to continue in their wickedness? If anyone comes to you and doesn’t bring this doctrine don’t receive him into your house nor greet him; for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds. (2Jn10,11) What’s causing Jehoshaphat to befriend Ahab? Self-righteousness! If Jehoshaphat sought God He’d say, “Evil company corrupts good manners!” (1Cor15:33) But Jehoshaphat is much like the new age church, “I know he’s doing bad but it’s righteous to befriend our enemies.” Self-righteousness again! It’s not right to help wicked people do evil or treat them as though it’s alright when they’re involved in sin. So the prophet warns Jehoshaphat to repent. “The wrath of God is upon you because you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord.” (2Chr19:2) Today many “christians” call us mean because we speak against the deadly heresies of the Catholics and Baptists etc. (See Once Saved/Always Saved) They self-righteously think they’re kind because they accept these false “christians” as brethren. But the wrath of God abides on them because they love the wicked and help those who hate Truth. Those who forsake the law praise the wicked, but such as keep the law contend with them. (Pr28:4) When Jesus was dealing with Pharisees who asked Him to, “Show us a sign.” He answers, “A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign.” (Mt12:39) Generally to ask God for a sign is testing God. But The LORD spoke to Ahaz saying, “Ask a sign for yourself from the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth or in the height above.” But Ahaz said, “I won’t ask, nor will I test the LORD!” (Is7:10-12) Ahaz is being self-righteous! Normally it’s a good thing not to ask God for a sign but when He tells you to ask for a sign OBEY HIM! If God is telling you to ask He’s Lord of the law, Lord of the Sabbath and wants to give you a sign. The wicked ask for a sign when God doesn’t want to give one. But now God wants to give a sign. Are you more righteous than God to disobey and not ask for the sign? How many “christians” are guilty of such self-righteousness? How many are spitting in God’s eye when the Spirit is telling you to do something and you say, “I won’t do that because I’m more righteous than that?” How can you be led by the Spirit if your righteousness ties you up in rules you won’t break even if God tells you to. (1Cor10:23) You’ve become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you’ve fallen from grace. (Gal 5:4) How can you be married to Christ and obeying His instructions (Rom7:4) when you reject so many things He tells you to do because of your RULES! Then he said, “Hear now, O house of David! (Ahaz is king of the house of David.) Is it a small thing for you to weary men, but will you weary my God also?” (Is7:13) How do you weary a man? You resist him and fight against what he’s doing. Are you trying to weary God? Are you continually resisting what God’s doing? God has given a command, “Ask for a sign.” Ahaz should be thinking, “What’s a good sign to ask for?” Instead he protects his self-righteousness. He won’t submit to the righteousness that comes from God (Rom10:3) when it differs from his idea of righteousness. If you’re like Ahaz you won’t obey what God’s asking you to do because your righteousness isn’t found in the hearing of faith but in rules. Therefore He who supplies the Spirit to you and works miracles among you, does He do it by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?-- (Gal 3:5) Your righteousness is found in keeping standards (laws) you’ve decided yourself are righteous and you’ll hold to them even if God tells you to break them. Meaning your righteousness isn’t connected to obeying God! You’re wise in your own conceits. (Rom12:16) So you refuse to rebuke a sinner because you think it’s unkind when God says to rebuke may save a soul from death. (Jms5:19,20) Or you refuse to “hurt someone’s feelings” because you think that’s not love when God says “speak the Truth in love.” (Eph4:15) God’s love is higher than your “human” love. The true test of Spiritually is when God overrules one of His scriptural “laws” do you adhere to the “law” or do you see the good in what God’s doing and recognize this is the Spirit following the law of expedience? (1Cor10:23) This is the test of legal versus Spiritual. If you hold to the law you’re legal and fallen from grace. (Gal 5:4) If you obey the Spirit you’re Spiritual. We knew a young divorcee, single mother struggling to support four children who’d been the victim of an adulterous unbelieving husband who resented her Christianity and left her. There was no possibility of a reconciliation. The Lord directed a widower in “My Father’s House” to marry her and relieve her distress. That marriage has born much good fruit in this couple’s effectual service and devotion to God, but they’ve been accused of being “adulterers” by legal “christians” who hold to Jesus’ Words (Mt5:32) and can’t see the higher purpose God has in this marriage even for the children’s sake. The letter kills but the Spirit gives life. (2Cor3:6) The purpose of obeying the law is to obey God. I obey the law because God said to. But when God overrules His law or my understanding of the law I obey God because He’s Lord of the law –Lord of the Sabbath. When God works a miracle He’s overruling His own laws of nature! He has the power and the authority to overrule His own laws when it’s expedient. (1Cor10:23) And I must submit to His present voice, even more than to my interpretation of the Words He’s spoken in the past but may now be overruling for a better cause. Any kind of “righteousness” that disobeys God’s present leading even by obeying what God spoke at a different time and under a different set of circumstances but resists what He’s speaking today, isn’t obedience to God. (see Num14:39-45) You must obey Him in the present – the I AM –to have the righteousness that comes from God by faith. Anything else is self-righteousness. For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own haven’t submitted to the righteousness of God. (Rom10:3) Prophecy: My people have no other master, no other God but Me. They’ve no other Spirit but Mine; no other thoughts but Mine. They won’t complain that what I ask of them is cruel or unfair. They won’t think, “God couldn’t expect this of Me.” They won’t judge Me according to their ways. They’ve no other master but Me means they’ll come to Me and ask Me, “Is this cruel or is this good? Is this right or is this wrong?” They’ll ask Me, “Does this please You or not?” When I say to do something they obey. And I tell you, there’ll be only one people who stand before Me in joy and gladness and that’s the people who follow My righteousness to whom I say, “Well done.” I say, “That pleases Me.” I say, “Yes, you did that right.” Because they come to Me and find out what I have for them. These are the people who’ll stand before Me, the express image of My glory. They’ll shine as lights in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. And in the end they’ll be to Me a Royal Priesthood, a diadem of glory, for My righteousness is theirs. And I’ll be shown right in everything I’ve told them to do, saith the Lord. Prophecy: Only those joined to Me can be My body and do My will. Only those joined to Me know Me as Head. For only those are one with Me. Only those joined to Me are one with the brethren. For no man can join to My people unless he joins to Me. There are many who think they’ve joined My church who aren’t joined to Me. They think they’re Mine, I’m their Head and they’re My body, My church but in Truth they pursue their own purposes and do things their own way. They don’t know Me by My Spirit and aren’t one with Me. But they’ll be ashamed for I’ll show the difference between those who say they’re Mine and those who are really Mine. For before the nations I’ll demonstrate My unity with My true people and cause them to be unto My glory. For I’ll glorify My true bride. She’ll be one with Me in every way and be a glorious bride indeed, saith the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)
