The Avenger!

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 6//Issue 4

No one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such. (1Th4:6) And this is condemnation, that light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (Jn3:19)

Prophecy: My Kingdom is righteousness, peace, and joy in My Holy Spirit. I’m establishing My Kingdom in My church that I’m raising up in a mighty way in each and every one of you who truly trust in Me. Solomon, right in the beginning did away with all that was an enemy to his kingdom because I gave him My wisdom and opened his eyes to see those things that would be a trap or a snare to his soul. And know My church that I’m working in that way here to establish My Kingdom in you – in your hearts and in your minds. Thus I open your eyes to see the enemies to your souls that you may overcome such things, and put away from yourselves everything that would hinder or snare you because I’m coming soon. I’m the God who strengthens you and opens your eyes to see satan’s tricks that there may be nothing in you to keep you from My everlasting Kingdom. I’m working in you mightily. Stay close to Me and I’ll give you wisdom and you’ll be My people who walk in righteousness. Because you obey Me, I’ll protect you and keep you and you’ll have joy when I come, for you’ll stand before Me in that day unashamed and victorious, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”)

I’ve experienced a very intense time with the Lord today.  Much revelation. Much tears. Much intercession. It’s difficult to put into words. Imagine for example, what Paul’s talking about when he says he went up to the third heaven where he heard words that weren’t utterable. (2Cor12:2-4) It’s not easy to explain to people what it’s like when you’ve been in the presence of God because human languages fall so short. I’m sure Paul didn’t feel it was possible to describe it. But I can say I was gushing with tears over the issue of, “Lord, why do we look to anything except You? Everything we need is in You. Every answer we need. Every strength we need. So why look anywhere else?” Why would anyone even want to look anywhere else? So in everything I’m seeking God’s presence and my prayer is for Him to pour out His Spirit in me and in the church and in our ministries.

Something occurred last night at dinner. In the beginning everything was just foolish conversation and I’m thinking, “Oh Lord, are we going to have to sit through an evening of worthless talk from the children?” But the Spirit didn’t lead me to rebuke it. When Jesus came down from the Mount of Transfiguration, He was irritated by this world and the faithless people in it. He said, “O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you?” (Mk9:19) He’d just been very close to something that was so much better. It’s hard to come out from the presence of God and get back into the ordinary everyday stuff. So much of even what we think passes for religion is mundane. Some of it’s in the category of repeating things God’s already confirmed a dozen times and which everyone already knows. There’s a need for confirmation where someone’s not seeing right but there comes a time when we’re seeing right and we’ve got to move on. We can’t just keep spinning our wheels going nowhere. And there are many things like that which “believers” get caught up in. It’s not the Spirit. Such things may appear to be religious but they’re not connected to what God’s doing. God wants to move on but often we’re stuck rehashing what’s already been instead of looking where we’re to be going as we’re led by the Spirit. But, at the dinner table I whispered a prayer. Then I heard Jonathan say, “This has been such a good day!” And I responded, “Jonathan, tell us why!” So he said, “I had a good prayer time this morning.” Suddenly everything changed at the table and from then on we had Spiritual talk! Jonathan expressed the things God had been showing him in prayer and his brothers began joining in. So because Jonathan obeyed God this morning, he saved dinner! Just one person obeying God can change the whole atmosphere and turn everything around. So how important is it to know and obey the Spirit?

That which was from the beginning, which we’ve heard, which we’ve seen with our eyes, which we’ve looked upon, and our hands have handled, concerning the Word of life-- the life was manifested, and we’ve seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us-- that which we’ve seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us; and truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. (1Jn1:1-3) I can only share what I have - that which I’ve seen and heard. And truly my whole life with Jesus, all that I’ve seen and heard, I’ve declared to anyone who’d listen. My Father’s House should have the same testimony as John. And you should have this same testimony. That which you’ve seen and heard concerning Christ you should be declaring to others. We know something here about eternal life. We know something at “My Father’s House” about God’s Word. God has opened His Truth to us in an awesome way here. And that which we’ve seen and heard we must share with others. We must declare it for this same purpose; that others may have fellowship with us and with Christ. It’s important to understand if people don’t enter into the very things which we’ve seen and heard, they can’t have fellowship with us or God nor can we have any fellowship with them. So if we’re to have any fellowship with others, we must declare what we’ve seen and heard to all those who want to be counted among God’s people so they can enter into what God has brought us into. It’s the only way we can have any real fellowship with them. (Am3:3) And truly our fellowship is with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ. (1Jn1:3) The essence of what John is saying is, “We have fellowship with God. No one will be able to enter into this fellowship with God unless we declare to them what we’ve seen and heard which has caused us to come into fellowship with God.”

This is the message which we’ve heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and don’t practice the Truth. (1Jn1:5,6) To have fellowship with the brethren you must first have fellowship with God – so John’s telling the saints how to have a true fellowship with God. And to have fellowship with God you must be walking in light. No one who’s in darkness has any fellowship with God because God has no darkness in Him. Remember “That which we’ve seen and heard we declare to you,” (1Jn1:3) and that which we’ve seen and heard is light. We’re declaring light to the churches. These Glory of His Grace books are God’s light! We’re showing those around us God’s light, what the Lord is showing us, and if they reject this light they won’t have fellowship with us or with God because they can’t reject the light, hold onto darkness and claim to have fellowship with a God who’s light and in whom is no darkness. Anyone who rejects the light and claims to have fellowship with God is a liar and not of the Truth. Can two walk together, unless they’re agreed? (Am3:3) So we can have no unity, no fellowship with false brethren, unbelievers, false prophets, heretics of any sort because nobody who rejects the light God’s given us can have fellowship with us or with God. And if they say they know God they lie because if they knew Him they’d recognize the things which we’re receiving are from God and are His light. We know it and we must stand on it. We’re responsible to stand for the Truths God’s giving us; His lightIf we walk in the light as He’s in the light, we have fellowship with one another. (1Jn1:7) Only by walking in His light can we have fellowship with the true brethren. And walking in the light as He’s in the light means we must walk in the greatest amount of light that’s available to us. This also means though there may be brethren who have some fellowship with God although they don’t have the light we have, when we offer them the greater light, if they refuse to receive it they’ll lose fellowship with both God and the true saints. But the path of the just is like the shining sun, that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day. (Pr4:18) You can’t hold on to darkness and choose the lesser light which is dark in comparison to the better light and say you have fellowship with a God who is light! Those who reject the light prove themselves to be unworthy of fellowship with the saints or God. (Jn12:35,36) God sends us greater light so we can draw nearer to Him and those who reject His light cut themselves off from Him.

That which we’ve seen and heard we declare to you, that you also may have fellowship with us. (1Jn1:3a) We can only have fellowship with Christ by receiving and walking in “the light as He’s in the light. This means we must walk in the greatest light He’s giving us! So the only way you can have fellowship with us is you must also walk in the best and fullest light which God is giving you; including the light He’s giving you through us! You can’t have fellowship with us any other way because we can’t go back to darkness. It’s absolutely not permitted for us to turn back and fellowship with the lesser light which is darkness in comparison to the greater light. So the people who know less, who have less light must come up to the light we offer them. We can never go back to what they have. And if there’s going to be any real fellowship in the Spirit, we must maintain our fellowship with the Spirit. This means we must walk in the best light God gives us. We can bring others into that light, but we can’t depart from God’s light to participate in their darkness. This isn’t optional! To stay in the light is an absolute necessity! It’s God’s will that we true saints go on to perfection and this is the only road that will get us there. Then Jesus said to them, “A little while longer the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, lest darkness overtake you; he who walks in darkness doesn’t know where he’s going. While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become sons of light.” (Jn12:35,36) To continue with Christ we must take hold of every ray of light God sends, share it with others and recognize only those who’ll receive that light are worthy to have fellowship with us or with God. If we walk in the light as He’s in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. (1Jn1:7) Which means the blood of Jesus does not cleanse you from sin if you reject any of His light as “He’s in the light.” The promise of cleansing is only to those believers who walk in the light, and those who whenever God shows them more will go on to the brighter light. (Pr4:18) By this we can see the forgiveness of sins by Christ’s blood is given for the purpose of perfecting us in holiness. And if you don’t continue into the increasing light to be perfected in holiness, then forgiveness isn’t for you and Christ’s blood won’t avail. God gives forgiveness to those who desire to be perfected. If we walk in the light as He’s in the light, means if we step into every new thing He shows us and receive every new teaching He gives and accept every new ray of light, then He’ll keep us cleansed by the blood. But if we reject His light, we’ll also be found short of His blood. To reject light is akin to refusing repentance and without repentance there’s no forgiveness! God is the avenger of all such.

That no one should take advantage of and defraud his brother in this matter, because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also forewarned you and testified. (1Th4:6) It seems in most so called “christianity” today there’s absolutely no fear of the Lord being an avenger and yet the bible teaches He’s the avenger of anyone who defrauds his brother in any way. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you’ll receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he’s done, and there’s no partiality. (Col 3:23-25) One of the most common ways so called “christians” defraud one another is in not keeping their word. “You shall not swear falsely, but shall perform your oaths to the Lord.” But I say to you, “Don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it’s God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it’s His footstool; nor by Jerusalem, for it’s the city of the great King. Nor shall you swear by your head, because you can’t make one hair white or black. But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever’s more than these is from the evil one.” (Mt5:33-37)

Jesus is telling us strongly we mustn’t make promises we can’t keep. We’re to be careful to keep our word. In relation to this we should be seeking God’s will and finding out what’s acceptable to Him because unless God wants us to do something it’s sin for us to commit to it! For you were once darkness, but now you’re light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and Truth), finding out what’s acceptable to the Lord. (Eph5:8-10) Even making plans without God is arrogance! Instead you ought to say, “If the Lord wills, we’ll live and do this or that.” But now you boast in your arrogance. All such boasting is evil. (Jms4:15,16) James also says to him who knows to do good and doesn’t do it, it’s sin. (v17) So whatever good we do must be in accordance to the will of God. We can’t just do what we think is good. And in everything our ‘Yes’ must be ‘Yes’ and our ‘No,’ ‘No’ because what we’re doing is the will of God and God has approved it. God must show us what’s right or not right to do and what’s right or not right to promise because we now belong to Jesus and have no license to make decisions apart from His approval. Or do you not know that your body’s the temple of the Holy Spirit who’s in you, whom you have from God, and you’re not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1Cor6:19,20) Jesus is now my Head (1Cor11:3a) so I must look to Him to show me what I can say yes or no to.

But I say to you, “Don’t swear at all: neither by heaven, for it’s God’s throne; nor by the earth, for it’s His footstool.” (Mt5:34,35a) Heaven doesn’t belong to you. What right do you have to swear by it? What right have you to inject God’s name into your business, something you’re doing? What right do you have to use God’s name as a guarantee to others that you’ll keep your word? The perversion of the things of God is what sin is! What the bible’s referring to as swearing isn’t using a bad word as it’s commonly thought of today. But it’s referring to making a promise to do something and using God as a guarantee you’ll keep your word. The idea is to convince the one you’re making a promise to that if you violate your word you’ll be punished by God, so he thinks you’ll keep your word. But Jesus accuses them, “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it’s nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he’s obliged to perform it.’ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it’s nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that’s on it, he’s obliged to perform it.’ Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it.” (Mt23:16-22) So Jesus is exposing the scribes and legal nitpickers of His day as breakers of oaths like, “You don’t have to keep that pledge because you only swore by the temple but if you’d sworn by the gold of the temple you’d have to keep your word.” Whereas Jesus is saying, “Let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever’s more than these is sin.” As James says, “Above all, my brethren, don’t swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes,” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.” (Jms5:12) Because the Lord is the avenger of all such. When you make a promise and don’t keep it, the Lord will punish that, which is why James says, “lest you fall into judgment.” As he also says, “Don’t grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door!” (v9) James strongly reminds us Jesus is going to judge the bad behavior of “believers.” Is he talking to sinners or believers? Believers! In most “churches” today there’s a lack of any appreciation for the Truth that God’s going to judge Christians (Heb10:30) and it’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God (v31) for our God is a consuming fire. (12:29) So you must find out what God’s will is, and not presumptuously plan or promise to do things without consulting Him. “Woe to the rebellious children,” says the LORD, “Who take counsel, but not of Me, and who devise plans, but not of My Spirit, that they may add sin to sin.” (Is30:1) Woe to you who are going to another source to determine what to do instead of going to God. Now the scribes, Pharisees and so called theologians are giving Jews permission to cheat gentiles. They’re saying for example if you make an oath to a gentile in swearing by the temple you don’t have to keep your word, which means they’re giving the Jews permission to make fraudulent contracts. So the Jews can cheat people who don’t know these fickle laws. For example a gentile might think, “This Jew has sworn by the temple. He must keep his word or suffer God’s vengeance, so I should trust him.” Then the gentile finds out later the Jew has cheated him because to the Jews swearing by the temple is meaningless. However, a Jew might know better. If a Jew were dealing with another he might say, “I’m not going to take your word on that. You have to swear by the gold of the temple because you don’t have to keep your word if you swear only by the temple.” So the Jew who knows the tricks can make the other Jew perform his oath. But Jesus is telling them, “You’re turning God’s law into a way of adding sin to sin. Instead of being godly and righteous you’re using God’s Word to cheat people.”

Do you think there’s any of that going on today? Jesus says let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes’ and your ‘No’ be ‘No’ yet everywhere people are blaspheming God because of “christians” who don’t keep their word; “christians” who make promises in business, promises to pay debts, promises to do this or that, yet commonly break their word without any sense of guilt or expectation of punishment because they think they’ve been set free from the penalty of such sins through Jesus’ blood. Thus their “christianity” gives them permission to sin “willfully” and be forgiven. Yet the bible says God is the avenger of all such and He never teaches that Christians can break their word with impunity. That kind of “christianity” is a stench in the nostrils of God and it’s a blasphemy on the blood of Christ because the blood of Jesus was given so we can be forgiven of sins committed in ignorance not so we can become liars and contract breakers and cheaters of other people and then walk away and say, “Lord, forgive me” and expect God to excuse such wickedness. Until the “churches” straighten their people out on this, there won’t be any revival. And it’s a rare thing to find a church that’s dealing with this issue as they ought. Too many “churches” are giving people an excuse to do what these Jews did; cheat others and say, “I’m forgiven to do that.” Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit. Will you steal… and say, “We’re delivered to do all these abominations?” (Jer7:8-10) “Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the LORD. (Jer7:11) Are you coming to God to excuse your sins or are you coming to God to overcome sin and be made righteous? If you’re coming to be made righteous then you must keep your word, and never trick people or steal while thinking, “God will forgive me!” It’s a terrible wickedness and iniquity, the awful perverseness of the flesh that so many religious people come to God to find out how to get away with sin instead of how to get sin away from me; to get sin out of me! They take counsel, but not of Me. (Is30:1) Where are the Pharisees taking their council from when they decide what promises they should keep and what oaths they can break? They’re taking it from men! They’re looking for ways to sin and cheat people while avoiding the penalty. What’s going on in churches today? Are people coming to God to find out how they can be made free from sin or are they looking for the loopholes so they can continue to sin? Wherever that’s going on God isn’t going to forgive it. For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Heb10:26,27) The judge is standing at the door and He’s the avenger of all such. God is absolute in integrity, in judgment and justice. It’s beyond any imagination how strongly He’ll judge sin and eventually be seen to be perfect in that. It’s utter foolishness to think you can trick God or get permission from God to be unjust and do harm or cheat your fellowman knowingly.

“Precept upon precept, precept upon precept, line upon line, line upon line, here a little, there a little,” that they might go and fall backward, and be broken and snared and caught. (Is28:13) Shouldn’t precept be upon precept? Yes, but what are these people doing? They’re using “learning” as an excuse to be slow in obeying God. God does have to take us step by step but we ought to be stepping lively, we ought to be moving into holiness as fast as we can and not using the fact that it’s a growth process as an excuse to purposely be slow or dragging our feet. Those who are purposely slow in growing, are going to stumble because they’re abusing God’s grace. There’s no wisdom or understanding or counsel against the LORD. (Pr21:30) One example of how the wicked can’t outwit God is found in, Woe to you who plunder, though you’ve not been plundered; and you who deal treacherously, though they’ve not dealt treacherously with you! When you cease plundering, you’ll be plundered. (Is33:1) Of course God will punish the wicked but He often shows He’ll be forgiving of the truly repentant as in, When a righteous man turns away from his righteousness, commits iniquity, and dies in it, it’s because of the iniquity which he’s done that he dies. Again, when a wicked man turns away from the wickedness which he committed, and does what is lawful and right, he preserves himself alive. (Ezek18:26,27)

It’s the iniquity of man that because God says He’ll forgive one who repents some will try to make this into a loophole by which they can profit from sin. “Because God says if we turn away from our iniquity we’ll be forgiven, that means we can spend a few years getting rich by sin and then repent. Thus we’ll be able to keep our sin bought riches after we repent and still go to heaven.” The utter depravity of man is when he sees God make an offer of grace he may look for a way to turn God’s grace into something profitable to his (man’s) wicked flesh, (Jude4) whereas God offers forgiveness only to those who are truly heartbroken over their sin that they may turn away from sin and pursue holiness. But because God will forgive those who are truly repentant doesn’t mean He’ll allow others to delay their repentance while they get rich from sin and then expect God to accept their conniving and belated repentance while they keep their ill gotten riches. So to prevent us from thinking such things God says, “When you cease plundering, you’ll be plundered.” (Is33:1b) You aren’t going to outwit God! (Pr21:30) In the false churches there are literally dozens of such tricks that wicked men have come up with to try to circumvent God’s purposes by using His own Word against Him to profit man’s flesh! But such fools don’t really know God’s Word. If you read His Word closely you’ll find every trick wicked men may come up with God has a verse that shows they won’t get away with it. Like the immediate example shows, “You can’t get away with continuing in sin until you get rich and then repent and keep your riches.” (Is33:1) Only a fool would think he could outsmart God. God will always make the wisdom of the wicked backfire (Ps18:26) because God’s salvation isn’t for thieves. It’s for the truly honest and repentant who come to Him because they want to be made right and want to receive a new heart so they can really do good. But there’s always something in God’s Word that will exclude every sneaky, conniving, clever minded fool who tries to subvert God’s holy purposes. No-one is going to outwit God.

I’ll kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I’m He who searches the minds and hearts. And I’ll give to each one of you according to your works. (Rev2:23) And behold, I’m coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work. (Rev22:12) Surely I’m coming quickly. (Rev22:20) Therefore be patient, brethren, until the coming of the Lord... Don’t grumble against one another lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! (Jms5:7,9) Jesus sees what’s going on in the heart of every “believer.” He knows who’s honestly serving Him and doing His will. And He’ll reward each of us according to what He sees in us. But Jesus also sees the tricks, connivings and wicked evasions of those false “christians” who are adding sin to sin trying to find a way to think they’re saved while they wickedly continue serving their flesh. Jesus is coming for them too – His fearful punishments with Him. Those who sow to the flesh will reap corruption. (Gal 6:7) Those who’ve sown to the Spirit, who are seeking Christ’s ways, seeking His Kingdom and truly looking to be perfected in Jesus will be rewarded. Because God is perfect in justice, perfect in judgment, perfect in vision to know exactly what’s going on in the heart of every man! Therefore, don’t grumble against one another, brethren, lest you be condemned. Behold, the Judge is standing at the door! (Jms5:9) Jesus is aware of what you’re doing and He’s ready to come with the appropriate reward or punishment. Therefore, Above all, my brethren, don’t swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes,” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No.” (Jms5:12) Because the judge is an awesome avenger and if you promise to do something for someone and you don’t keep your word, God will avenge that. You can’t get away with using the blood of Jesus as an excuse for your willful unrighteousness. This is exactly what Jude is lamenting when he says they “Turn the grace of God into licentiousness.” (v4) There are unbelievers who fear God more than some “believers,” who fear breaking a contract more than these fake believers do. These wicked “believers” think they can sin with impunity because they’ve been taught they can commit any sin and then just plead the blood and say, “Forgive me Lord” and they’ll be forgiven of anything they do. Whereas there are unbelievers who fear they couldn’t get away with such things because justice would catch up with them. For if we sin willfully after we’ve received the knowledge of the Truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Heb10:26,27)

When a “church” isn’t teaching holiness and righteousness in such a way as to cause people to fear the judgment of God, that “church” is working for the devil and not God because she’s multiplying sins (the devil’s works) instead of destroying them! He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1Jn3:8) God’s true people are a holy people zealous of good works. (Tit2:14) What does that mean? Such people as you could trust to keep their word, to honor their contracts, to not tell you they’re going to do something and then reneg on it. God’s producing a people who are trustworthy, good, noble, holy, obedient, honest, upright, merciful, and gracious. Jesus didn’t shed His blood to produce a bunch of wimps that break their word whenever they feel like it and take advantage of other people, saying, “We’re forgiven to do this.” “Behold, you trust in lying words that can’t profit. Will you steal, murder, commit adultery, swear falsely, and then come and stand before Me in this house which is called by My name, and say, ‘We’re delivered to do all these abominations’? Has this house, which is called by My name, become a den of thieves in your eyes? Behold, I, even I, have seen it,” says the LORD. (Jer7:8-11) Can you make God’s house into a den of thieves and think God won’t avenge it? (Mk11:17)

For if the word spoken through angels proved steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just reward, how shall we escape if we neglect (or abuse) so great a salvation. (Heb2:2,3) The people who neglected God’s warnings under the law were punished, now do you think you aren’t going to be punished when you neglect God’s warnings in this age of grace? This exposes the terrible heresies of those “churches” who teach that grace means God won’t punish. Where what God’s saying here is that in the age of grace He’ll punish even more so. Because in the age of grace, you have the grace to obey. For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in the present age. (Tit2:11,12) That’s what the age of grace is about. You have even more grace to obey than those under the Old Covenant therefore obedience is even more required of you than those under the Old Covenant. Do you think when those under the Old Covenant were punished for breaking the law you’re going to escape punishment when you disobey God?

But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance. (Heb9:7) Notice atonement is only given for sins committed in ignorance. For if we sin willfully after we’ve received the knowledge of the Truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries. (Heb10:26,27) I was listening to a Baptist say, “There’s only one unforgivable sin” and I said, “You haven’t read your bible” because blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is one unforgivable sin but there’s also a sin unto death that John talks about where he says, “Don’t even pray for him if he’s committed that.” (1Jn5:16) And He’s not talking about blasphemy of the Holy Spirit there. He’s talking about heresy. He’s talking about departing from the true church. (1Jn2:18,19) John calls that a sin unto death. And look at what Peter says about heresy? “Who’ll secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Lord who bought them, and bring on themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their destructive ways, because of whom the Way of Truth will be blasphemed.” (2Pt2:1,2) It’s a destructive heresy to teach you can sin willfully and be forgiven later, that you can make a contract and back out of that contract because Jesus will forgive you. Whereas what James says is, you’d better keep your word. LORD, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? He who swears to his own hurt and does not change. (Ps15:1,4b) You’d better keep your word! Behold the Judge is standing at the door! (Jms5:9) And Paul teaches God is the avenger of believers who defraud others. The blood of Jesus won’t cover a willful sin. So you say, “When I gave my word on that, I didn’t know what was going to happen!” And Christ would answer, “But you did give your word and right now you’re willfully breaking it!” That’s the immediate sin, knowing God says you’re to keep your word and yet you’re breaking it and then you’re asking Jesus to forgive you for a willful sin? You don’t get forgiveness for a willful sin. You aren’t in ignorance. You’re willfully practicing evil and expecting Jesus to cover it and excuse it. Which if He did that it would make Him an accomplice to your sin!

For if God didn’t spare the angels who sinned, (2Pet2:4) He isn’t going to spare a heretic and He isn’t going to spare a willful sinner either. For a long time their judgment hasn’t been idle, and their destruction doesn’t slumber. (v3) This means heretics and willful sinners will be punished! There isn’t any sense to even pray for them! For if we sin willfully after we’ve received the knowledge of the Truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins. (Heb10:26) Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin but there’s also a sin unto death (1Jn5:16) and the unforgivable willful sin of Hebrews. (Heb10:26) Yet so many churches teach, “There’s only one unforgivable sin so don’t worry about sin, God will forgive it!” They haven’t read their bibles!  Because what God is talking about in Hebrews isn’t blasphemy of the Holy Spirit but it isn’t forgivable either. Willful sin isn’t forgivable. Willful sin is when you know to do right and you will to do wrong. And God is the avenger of all such. For if we sin willfully after we’ve received the knowledge of the Truth. You know you’re supposed to keep your word! But let your ‘Yes’ be ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No,’ ‘No.’ For whatever is more than these is from the evil one. (Mt5:37) That was one of the primary things God quickened to me when I was first saved and since then I’ve been careful to obey it. Yet the doctrine of forgiveness has the opposite effect on most so called “christians.” They seem to think that because there’s forgiveness in Jesus now they can break their word and get away with it. But that’s not what Jesus teaches. That’s what the devil teaches. That’s not what the apostles teach. The scriptures affirm that God is the avenger of all such. If you sin and you know it’s sin and you willfully sin, there’s no sacrifice for you and Jesus’ blood won’t cover it. Instead there’s a certain expectation of judgment. Anyone who’s rejected Moses’ law dies without mercy on the testimony of two or three witnesses. Of how much worse punishment, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy who has trampled the Son of God underfoot, counted the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified a common thing, and insulted the Spirit of grace? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay,” (Heb10:28-30)

Under the Old Covenant men enforced the law. Under the New Covenant God repays! The Lord will judge His people. And, It’s a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. (Heb10:30,31) The New Covenant teaches, you’ll fall into the hands of the living God if you willfully sin. You’ll fall into the hands of the avenging God if you give your word recklessly, then willfully don’t keep your word. You’ll fall into the hands of the living God if you’re judging your brethren while doing the same things yourself, or grumbling against them. (Rom2:3;Jms5:9) You’ll fall into the hands of the judging God if you don’t make your “Yes,” “Yes” and your “No,” “No” and give glory to God in your obedience to Him. And you’ll fall into the hands of the avenging God if you’re not honest, upright, and righteous in your treatment of your fellowman. But let justice run down like water, and righteousness like a mighty stream. (Am5:24) You’ll fall into the hands of the living God if you defraud your brother in any fashion. And our God is a consuming fire and you aren’t going to outwit Him because there’s no council against the Lord. (Pr21:30) God sees thru every sneaky little trick your flesh tries to come up with. You mock God if you continue in your sin and add sin to sin when what you ought to be doing is crying out to God to be made holy and making every possible effort to do right in every possible way. James says the Judge stands at the door. (5:9) In Revelations Jesus says, “I’m coming quickly and My reward is with Me and I’m going to give to each one according to his works. (22:12) And Galatians says, “God is not mocked.” (6:7) How little fear of God there is in the land today and even in the churches that should fear God more than any, how they’ve been mistaken to think they can sin with impunity because of the blood and grace of Jesus. But God is the avenger of all such. And now I’ve shared this light with you, that you may have fellowship with us and truly our fellowship is with the Father and Christ (1Jn1:3) – but woe unto you who reject this light. For this is condemnation that the light has come and men loved darkness rather than light for their deeds are evil. (Jn3:19) And truly such as reject the light will have no fellowship with us or with God. For God is light and in Him is no darkness at all and those who reject the light reject God. (1Jn1:5)

Prophecy: I’m the Lord who searches the hearts and the minds to give to each according to his works. Yet there are many who’d twist My Word and pervert My Word that they may evade My justice. And others try to corrupt My mercy that they might continue in unrighteousness, in sin and in flesh and yet deceive themselves in thinking they’re saved. So they search for loopholes in My Word that their old man may continue to do evil and follow after his lusts with no fear of God, of My judgment or their perdition. But I tell you, I’m searching for loopholes and I’ve found the loopholes; the loopholes that will eliminate from My Kingdom, from My church, those whose hearts aren’t for Me but for their sin and their wicked ways. And those who think they’re so smart that they can out wit Me and they can pervert My Word to accomplish their own ends, I’ll reveal the wickedness of their hearts, the perversity of their ways and I’ll separate them from My people. For My mercy is for those who want My holiness. My mercy is for those who want My righteousness. My mercy is for those who desire to become better than they now are and to attain to the sonship which Christ Jesus offers to all who come to Him in faith. And My mercy and forgiveness are for those who come in sincerity to seek My face and learn My ways and to know Me and to follow Me and obey Me. My mercy will never be given to those who think they’re so clever they can find a way to be saved when in fact they don’t desire My purity, My grace, My holiness. Those who only desire to evade the penalty of their sins, but they don’t desire to be made like unto the Son of God, shall not enter My Kingdom. They shall not be counted among My elect. For My judgment is perfect. My judgment is righteous. The light of My judgment is blinding white and it will expose every spot, every blemish, every iniquity and insincerity, and everything that’s unacceptable to My Kingdom will be rejected, thus saith the Lord.

Prophecy: I am wielding My sword. My sword is out of its sheath. I tell you My children that when I brought forth the Glory of His grace I brought forth My sword to bring down the lies and cut asunder those who are falsely claiming to be Mine. Even now My Word is going forth to judge the world. And I tell you My children, watch and see the glory of the Lord for I’m wielding My sword and My sword is bringing forth justice, My sword is bringing forth righteousness. For what they didn’t know when they were still in ignorance, now they see and they know because My Word is going forth. And concerning those who now know, yet choose what is wrong, I’m cutting them off in their lies and I’m bringing them down to their shame, thus saith the Lord.
