We Know! (Book I)

 By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 11/ Issue 3

Prophecy: How can two walk together unless they be agreed? What communion has light with darkness? Christ with Belial? I tell you, My people are not their own. They know they’ve been bought with a price and their lives are completely Mine. That’s why they’re My people. The false church and the curstians have a different mind. They believe they’re their own and they only need to give Me a portion and when they give Me the portion they think is Mine, the rest is theirs to do with as they will so they use the rest of their lives to serve their own interests and to do their own things. They claim to be Mine because they’ve given Me a portion, but I tell you I don’t even receive the portion. I reject them completely for they aren’t Mine. For they’ve not learned their form of christianity from My Son Jesus Christ. They’ve not done what He’s done. They’ve not given Me all and therefore Christ isn’t in them. Therefore they’re their own and that makes them not Mine. Therefore they have nothing, no part in what is Mine and they have no part with My people who are Mine completely, who I love and dwell amongst and bless continually, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”)

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us by the Spirit whom He’s given us. (1Jn3:24) In John’s first epistle he speaks of several things real Christians know. But concerning what passes for “christianity” today, when we ask most so called “believers” if they know these things, it too often becomes apparent they don’t know them! When John says “We Know,” then if you don’t know, you can’t be a part of the “We” John refers to as the true believers. The “We” John relates to are the “Elect,” the true children of God who are actually saved. So if believers today are claiming to be “saved” when they “don’t know” the things John says true believers know, they’re obviously in deception. John doesn’t consider us to be among the true brethren if we don’t know these things, since these are things the true brethren must know, and these things affect our behavior so we’ll behave like the elect because of what we know. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. (1Jn2:3) Everyone today who claims to be a Christian says they know Jesus. But John says this is how “we know” for sure we know Him – we keep His commandments! Here in John’s first criteria for actually knowing Jesus, almost all “Christianity” today fails. Most contemporary “christians” don’t know Him at all, because they know they don’t keep His commandments! When you ask an average “believer” “Do you keep Jesus’ commandments?” he’ll usually answer, “I’m trying!” Sometimes one may respond, “I don’t know!” or “I’m not sure!” But if you ask, “Do you know Jesus?” he’ll quickly affirm, “Oh, Yes! I know Him!” NO YOU DON’T! Because the bible says if you don’t keep His commandments you don’t know Him. And if you’re trying to keep His commandments; you’re admitting you’re NOT! That’s what it means when someone says, “I’m trying!” They’re actually saying, “I’m failing!” or “I’m not yet successful!” otherwise they’d be saying “Yes I do!” He who says, “I know Him,” and doesn’t keep His commandments, is a liar, and the Truth isn’t in him. (1Jn2:4) These “believers” who are “trying” to keep His commandments, or “aren’t sure” they’re keeping them – are liars if they say they know Him. How accurately John has seen and defined the present apostasy by exposing the deception in so called “christians” who don’t obey Jesus. To say you know Jesus when you don’t keep His commandments, makes you a liar! The infallible Word of God forever established in heaven says you don’t know Him if you don’t keep His commandments. And if such is the case and you say you do know Him, you’re a liar. All the problems we’ve had with those who’ve been troublesome to us in “My Father’s House” stem from the fact that the disobedient don’t know Jesus and don’t keep His commandments. Do you know “about” Him? Oh Yes! Big difference between knowing “about” President Bush and actually knowing him! Knowing about him means you read about him in the news. Knowing him means he can say, “Hello, my friend. How are your children doing? Say hello to your wife for me. Maybe we can get together for dinner next week!” Most “christians” today know about Jesus, but they don’t know Jesus!

Whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know we’re in Him. (1Jn2:5) To keep His Word is synonymous with keeping His commands. If we keep His Word we know His love is in us, and if that’s true we know we’re in Him. This is what it means to be God’s temple. To be in Him is to be in God’s temple. How can you be outside of Him and be in God’s temple when Christ is the temple; His body is the temple and His church is His body? Little children, it’s the last hour; and as you’ve heard the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know it’s the last hour. (1Jn2:18) Because it’s the last hour, Jesus is coming soon and we must be prepared to meet Him. One of Jesus’ parables concerns the good servant who when He comes, the Lord finds has been giving his fellow servants their food in due season. (Mt24:45,46) But Jesus also speaks of a wicked servant who believes the Lord is delaying His coming; so he begins to eat and drink with the drunkards and abuse his fellow servants. (v48,49) Jesus says of the wicked servant He’ll cut him in two and give him his portion with the hypocrites. (v50,51) The idea that the Lord is delaying His coming is always antithetical to real Christianity. It tends to incite laodicean, lukewarm behavior, or even worse as Jesus’ parable shows. Real Christians can never succumb to the lie that the Lord is delaying His coming because we know this is the last hour. All around us are evidences that this is the last hour. The evidence John points out is there are “many antichrists.” No doubt John encountered numerous antichrists in his age, but we’re warned that in the last days perilous times will come. (2Tim3:1) Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition. (2Th2:3) Whatever was going on in John’s day, worse things will happen as we approach the end before the coming of the Lord. The “falling away” is prophetic of the present and derives from the same Greek word as “apostasy.” Because we see so much of present day “christianity” falling away from God’s Truth, we know we’re nearing the time when the antichrist will be revealed. It’s a certainty we’re encountering more antichrist spirits today than John did when he wrote his warning. So God’s prophetic Word indicates things will get worse not better as we near the end; meaning we should be even more conscious that we’re in the last minutes of the last hour. Jesus speaks of this escalation of troubles as the “beginning of sorrows” (Mt24:8). Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads because your redemption draws near. (Lk21:28) So Paul warns before Christ comes there must be a “falling away” (2Th2:3) and John says we’ll know the coming of the Lord’s near because of the increase in antichrists. (1Jn2:18) Every time we see another disaster, another heretical church or another manifestation of the antichrist spirit, it reminds us the Lord is coming very soon. This age is almost over. Knowing it’s about to end should keep you very alert in being prepared for the coming of the Lord. Therefore since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God. (2Pt3:11,12) The best way to “hasten” Christ’s coming is to prepare for it and help get His Church prepared. That He might present her to Himself a glorious Church not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. (Eph5:27)

Also Knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where’s the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.” (2Pt3:3,4) The increase in scoffers is a sure sign we’re in the last days. These fools aren’t at all afraid that the judgments of God are about to fall upon them. They think every tomorrow will be like today; so they brazenly flaunt their sin without fear anything bad will ever happen to them. One place we can see this is the explosion of homosexuality in today’s society! Look how New Orleans virtually thumbed its nose at God with their wicked Mardi Gras, blatant sexuality, sin, devil worship and voodoo. They never saw Katrina coming, did they?

The increase of antichrists characterizes the last hour and among the worst manifestations of antichrist are the false “churches!” All false “christianity” is antichrist. False religion is antichrist sitting in God’s temple pretending he’s God (2Th2:4) while blaspheming the true God. (Rev13:6) False “christians” always blaspheme true Christians! They claim to be the true while they stand in the place of the true. But we can tell the real from the false not by what they say about themselves, but by what God says about them in His Word, as for example – what true Christians know! And you know that He was manifested to take away our sins and in Him there’s no sin. (1Jn3:5) Therefore Whoever abides in Him doesn’t sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. (v6) The antichrist spirits in these fake “christians” get riled up when they encounter God’s Truth. Tell them “He who’s born of God doesn’t sin” (1Jn3:9) and watch their countenance change. They’re carnal, contentious not at all peaceable, such as what we see in true Christianity. “The fruit of the Spirit is Peace.” (Gal 5:22) Quote Jesus saying, “You must be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect.” (Mt5:48) They’ll angrily reply “nobody’s perfect,” even arguing with Christ Himself, thus openly demonstrating they’re antichrist!

But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things. (1Jn2:20) The church is the pillar and ground of the Truth. (1Tim3:15) But the church is composed of individual members. How can the church be the pillar and ground of the Truth unless the members are all in the Truth. If there were any members who weren’t of the Truth, the church couldn’t be the pillar and ground of the Truth, because “no lie is of the Truth.” (1Jn2:21) This means it’s impossible for carnal christians to be considered acceptable members of God’s true church. So everywhere carnality is found in bible Christians it’s rebuked. Paul tells the carnal Corinthians they’re behaving like unsaved men. (1Cor3:3) Later he says many of them are sick and even dying because of their unspiritual behavior. (1Cor11:29,30) Jesus rebukes the Laodicean church for their carnality and says if they don’t repent He’ll spit them out of His mouth. (Rev3:16,19) Carnality is unacceptable. Christ’s true church is Spiritual and every true Christian must be Spiritual. We’re born of the Spirit of God, who’s the Spirit of Truth, and we’re born of the incorruptible Word of God, which is the Word of Truth, so our inmost nature is of the Truth. And we have the living Holy Spirit of Truth in us as our teacher and a guide. We’ve been given access to all Truth through the Spirit of God, who searches the deep things of God. (1Cor2:10) Also we have the witness of the Spirit to know if things are true or not. (1Jn2:27) So anything pertinent to our salvation or our Christian life, we’ll know if it’s not true or we’ll recognize by the witness of the Spirit when it’s true! A real Christian won’t be deceived. To be deceived you have to be in the flesh! If you’re in the flesh, you’re not in Christ. If we’re in Christ, we’re in Truth and we can’t be deceived while we abide in Truth! Why are so many who claim to be Christians today so obviously deceived? Because they’re carnal and they aren’t in Christ. They believe about Him, but they don’t have the faith to abide in Him. They say they know Him but they lie, because they don’t keep His commands. (1Jn2:4) His Word doesn’t abide in them. Many so called “christians” today don’t even read their bibles. How can they be “saved” when they don’t even know what God’s Word says? “You have an anointing and you know all things!” (1Jn2:20) describes real Christians. What’s an anointing? How did God anoint someone in the Old Testament? A prophet would pour Holy oil on them, which was symbolic of the Holy Spirit. So a real Christian has an anointing because the Holy Spirit has been poured out on him. Now, if you don’t know “all things,” meaning everything needful to progress in salvation, then you don’t have the anointing. If you don’t have the anointing then you’re not a Christian, and that’s the point! The word “Christian” comes from “Christ,” and the word “Christ” means the “anointed” as in “christened.” Jesus is the anointed one, so a “Christian” must also be anointed. The Psalms talk about the anointing upon Aaron the high priest flowing down the body. (Ps133:2) The anointing upon Jesus, our High Priest, flows down to cover all the believers who are in Him. We’re anointed because He’s anointed. The anointing flows from Him to us.

If you have the anointing then you’re in Him and you know Truth. (1Jn4:13) There are two main spirits; the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. (1Jn4:6) You’re in one or the other. The scriptures show those who don’t keep Jesus’ commandments and yet claim to know Him, are in the spirit of error. They’re liars. (1Jn2:4) God knew when He created free will that someone would corrupt Truth into the spirit of error. Someone would eventually use their free will to disobey God. Lucifer was the first! He became the originator of sin by twisting something that was true into a lie. He didn’t create anything new but he perverted things God made good and made them bad. In so doing satan gave birth to the spirit of error which is always connected to deception and perversity. Satan is a perverter. He perverts what’s good into something evil; changing its proper use into something inordinate. These are the two spirits in the universe; the Spirit of Truth, which is of God, in which everything is made good and done right, and the spirit of error, which is of satan and includes misusing, abusing, deceiving, corrupting, perverting and twisting things God created good and for good into evil, and using things in wrong ways. To be in Christ, you must be in the Spirit of Truth; the Spirit of God. If you’re not in the Spirit of Truth, then you have to be in the spirit of error. There are only two spirits! Flesh is always in the spirit of error. The born again Spirit is always in Truth and can’t sin. (1Jn3:9) You as an individual are the one who decides which spirit you’ll follow, but to be a real Christian you must choose always to abide in Christ, become established in and stay in Him where you’ll be anointed by the Spirit of Truth. I haven’t written to you because you don’t know the Truth, but because you know it, and that no lie is of the Truth. (1Jn2:21) Who’s John writing to? Only those who know the Truth. That means John’s book isn’t written to anyone who doesn’t know the Truth. It’s no wonder so few contemporary “christians” have any understanding of 1st John. If they don’t know the Truth, this book isn’t written to them. 1st John is written only to the real Christians who know the truth and they’re the only ones who can understand it properly. John isn’t writing to Baptists, or Catholics, or Presbyterians because they don’t know the Truth. He’s writing only to born again Spirit filled believers who keep Jesus’ commands, and therefore know the Truth because they’re anointed by the Spirit of Truth. Did you know that 1st John is one of the least read books in the “churches?” Why do you think that’s so? Notice how many verses in 1st John completely contradict the erroneous doctrines of the false churches. For example the heretical doctrine that says they’re just sinners saved by grace, and they can’t be anything but sinners, is completely overthrown by Whoever has been born of God doesn’t sin, for His seed remains in him; and he can’t sin, because he’s been born of God. (1Jn3:9) How can they claim to be “born again” yet still be “sinners” when God’s Word says just the opposite? To pretend they’re of God they have to ignore 1st John and stay away from it. They must avoid all these scriptures that show us the Truth when what they preach is completely contrary to the Truth. Obviously John isn’t writing to them. Here’s a good test when you’re dealing with the bible ignorant believers (bibs) so common in the “christianity” today. Ask them what they think of the book of 1st John. See if they even know what it says. Take them on a trip through 1st John 3 and you can mop the floor with them in exposing their “churches” as antichrist and them as “unsaved!” If they’ve any regard for the Truth, by the time you’re done they’ll see they need to repent, get out of their false christianity and get into the real Jesus. Why don’t such people know these things? Because John isn’t writing to false “churches and false “christians.” This book is written to the real Christians, who are of the Truth, not to followers of lies. And no lie is of the Truth. (1Jn2:21)

One lie believed by many contemporary “christians” is that each church or denomination has a piece of the Truth, and when we all get together we’ll be the complete Church that has all the Truth. But John says we know no lie is of the Truth, which means you can’t have some “truths” and some lies, and just because you have some Truth say you’re of the Truth. What’s a half-truth? It’s a LIE! The bible doesn’t give any place to the idea that you can have some deceptions in you and still be of the Truth, because there’s no shadow of turning in God, there can be no lie in Christ! None! (Jms1:17) As there’s no sin in Him, there’s no lie in Him. So, if we’re established in Christ, and walking in His Spirit, there can be no lie in us because there’s no lie in His Spirit. It’s not possible for us to be following a lie if we’re in Him. To be following a lie we must get out of Him, and into the flesh. To be established in Him is our salvation, because in Him there’s no lie, no darkness, and no shadow of turning. And “we’re complete in Him,” (Col 2:10) which means in Him we have the whole Truth not merely a part of it. Also when we’re in Him we’re “children of light;” not darkness, not half truths and not lies! (Jn8:12)

If you know He’s righteous, do you know He’s righteous? Even a Baptist would say Jesus is righteous. But if you know He’s righteous, you know everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. (1Jn2:29) This is a very strange thing, that when we preach Christians should be righteous in behavior like Jesus, (1Jn2:6) the baptist-types accuse us of being legal because although they claim to know Jesus is righteous, they don’t know everybody who’s born of Him must be righteous. So they completely disagree with the Truth that to be born of God means you must behave righteously! Then according to this scripture they really don’t believe Jesus is righteous. They’re just giving lip service to something the bible “says” but they don’t really understand. Because if they could understand Jesus’ righteousness, they’d understand the righteousness of a real saint, but they don’t understand either. If you know Jesus is righteous then you know you can’t claim to be born again unless you’re righteous also and that means you’re doing righteousness. Everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. (1Jn2:29) So are you practicing (doing) righteousness? Are you living a righteous life in Christ? If not, you can’t be born of Him. If you’re not in the righteousness of Christ, you’re in the flesh. Flesh isn’t born of God. That which is fleshly is of the earth and will return to the earth. (Jn3:6,13,31;Gen3:19) Only that which is Spiritual is of God and will ascend to God. First you were born of the earth in a sinful earthly body, but now if you’re being saved you’ve become born of God and you’re growing up into Christ as a Spiritual being. (1Cor15:45-49) If your soul (mind and consciousness) has taken hold of that, then your behavior will be righteous just as He is righteous. (1Jn3:1-3) How many so called “christians” know these things? Obviously most don’t and if they’re not behaving in accordance with these Truths, they’re NOT Christians! They’re claiming to be something they’re not. They’re like a cubic zirconia pretending to be a diamond. They may think they’re a diamond, but they’re not. You can buy cubic zirconia for a penny a carat. It’s man-made, it’s common and it’s cheap. You can’t buy a good diamond for $700.00 a carat. You’ve got to pay $7000.00 a carat to get a really good diamond! The real thing is rare and costly. That’s true in almost every area, including Christianity. Real (Spiritual) Christians are precious and rare. But those who commonly call themselves “christians” today are a dime a dozen. They’re cubic zirconias, man-made, mental and not Spiritual so they’re not the real thing. They’re easily exposed as frauds by the Word of God. As John says we can tell a real Christian by what he knows. Beloved, now we’re children of God; and it hasn’t yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know when He’s revealed, we’ll be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure. (1Jn3:2,3) This means if you want to see Jesus in the first resurrection (Rapture) you must be as righteous as He is or you won’t be transformed? If you’re not transformed into the glorious body, like Him, you won’t meet Him in the resurrection of life, but in the resurrection of judgment. Hidden in the apparent simplicity of what John says here is an explosive revelation of what constitutes a true salvation. John knows his people. He knows they’re elect. He knows Jesus is in them, because he sees their Christ-like behavior. In the past I’ve had to rebuke many members of “My Father’s House” because things weren’t right with them spiritually, but lately we’ve had good prayer meetings, edifying sharing services; the church has been good so I don’t have to rebuke! Something’s changed in the Spirit here. When the brethren are right with God we can have good church; we can all know we’re elect and headed for heaven. John’s church is like that – he can assure them that “When we see Him we’ll all be like Him.” But you can’t do that in most “churches” today. In most so called “churches” the members need to be rebuked! Someone needs to tell these bibs (bible ignorant believers) that if they want to see Jesus, they better repent because they’re nothing like Him. And they won’t see Him in the resurrection of life if they aren’t like Him. So you can’t truthfully say what John is saying to his church to other “churches” unless they’re in the same Spiritual condition as John’s church. In most so called “churches” today the members definitely aren’t “Children of God.” For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. (Rom8:14) If they aren’t led by His Spirit it’s a lie to call them God’s children. Also Don’t be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate,” says the Lord. “Don’t touch what’s unclean and I’ll receive you. I’ll be a Father to you and you’ll be My sons and daughters,” says the Lord Almighty. (2Cor6:14,17,18) Jesus also that He might sanctify the people with His own blood, suffered outside the gate. Therefore let us go forth to Him outside the camp bearing His reproach. (Heb13:12,13) If “believers” aren’t markedly separate from worldly people, fashions and behavior, they can’t be God’s children. So you have to speak to every congregation according to their true spiritual condition or you’ll be misleading them – deceiving them into thinking they’re children of God when they aren’t and they need to repent. Just because John’s church is real doesn’t mean yours is. The true children of God are led by the Spirit and the Spirit will be leading them to prepare for Christ’s coming.

So Everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He (Christ) is pure. (1Jn3:3) As true children of God, we know we must be transformed into His likeness before we can see Jesus, so we labor to help one another attain to that. Him we preach warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. (Col 1:28,29) Only let your conduct be worthy of the gospel of Christ so that whether I come and see you or am absent I may hear of your affairs, that you stand fast in one Spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel. (Phil 1:27) Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. (Eph4:13) We must be found blameless if we’re to attain to the resurrection, therefore we purify ourselves that I may know Him and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if by any means I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I’ve already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. (Phil 3:10-12) To attain to the resurrection of life we must lay hold of that blameless perfection Jesus is calling us into. To present you holy, and blameless, and above reproach in His sight.  (Col 1:22b) We must be like Jesus in order to see Him. So because we have the hope of seeing Christ – we prepare to see Him by purifying ourselves. When the bible talks about our hope; it usually means “The blessed hope and glorious appearing of the Lord.” (Tit2:13) Bible “hope” is an assurance that leads to “faith” unlike the uncertainty of the worldly “I hope so.” To the true saint bible “hope” is a surety of something that can be attained if we’ll do our part. So because we really have this hope of meeting Jesus, we’re doing everything necessary to make sure we attain to it. Counting all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ. (Phil 3:8) This is the heart of a real Christian, (v15) though it’s not what’s found in most people today who claim to be “christians.” But true disciples know we must forsake everything that may interfere with our pursuit of Christ’s likeness if we hope to be found worthy to meet Him in the first resurrection. We know we have to be like Him to see Him and because we know that we’re zealously pursuing everything that pertains to our being conformed to His image. Every church service, every bible study, every time we go to prayer, and in our private devotions the purpose is we must attain to the likeness of Christ. Also we must consider if I can’t see Jesus in Brenda then Brenda isn’t going to see Jesus. If I can’t see Jesus in Steve then Steve won’t see Jesus. If I can’t see Jesus in Kevin then Kevin won’t make the resurrection of life. If he’s not like Jesus, Jason won’t be there either. If we don’t see the likeness of Jesus in each other; then we won’t see Him, because we know to see Him we must be like Him. John the beloved apostle says – we know we’re real Christians because we know this; we can’t see Jesus unless we’re like Him! So because we know this we’re doing everything we can to purify ourselves that we may be like Him. (1Jn3:1-3) Which is the reason you must attend a real church, because Christ’s church is given to help you become Christ-like. That’s what the brethren are here for. You’re here to help each other to attain perfection in Christ. Till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the Truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. (Eph4:13-16) Jesus didn’t leave you orphans. God sets the solitary in families. (Ps68:6a) He’s given you a church “family” to help you grow up in Christ! He’s also sent the Holy Spirit to be your teacher. And I’ll pray the Father, and He’ll give you another Helper that He may abide with you forever – the Spirit of Truth, whom the world can’t receive because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I’ll not leave you orphans; I’ll come to you. (Jn14:16-18)

Beloved, now we’re children of God; and it hasn’t yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He’s revealed, we’ll be like Him, for we’ll see Him as He is. And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He’s pure. (1Jn3:2,3) This is an awesomely important scriptural Truth. Its implications are so essential to the practice of true Christianity that any “church” which doesn’t function towards its members in accordance with this Truth can’t be a real Church. So called “christians” who don’t know this Truth or who aren’t living up to it can’t be real Christians. No believer will see Jesus unless they become like Him before He’s revealed! And if some think they’ll be made like Him by some miracle at His coming, then why does John say we must be purifying ourselves? (v3) True believers are purifying themselves because we know we won’t be perfected by a miracle, but by the washing of the water of the Word, (Eph5:26) much of which takes place in the true church; the renewing of your mind; (Rom12:2) the renewing of the Holy Spirit; (Tit3:5) and the sanctification of the Spirit, (1Pt1:2) which are all processes we must diligently participate in if we’re to become like Jesus before He’s revealed.

We know we’ve passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. (1Jn3:14) If we’ve truly passed from death to life it’s because we’ve been raised and made alive together with Christ. Even when we were dead in trespasses, (God) made us alive together with Christ (by grace you’ve been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Eph2:5,6) This describes an actual Spiritual (not physical) resurrection, which must have taken place in you or you can’t truthfully claim to “be saved.” So how do we know we’ve really been raised with Christ? The most important evidence is the love of the brethren. We know we’ve passed from death to life because we love the brethren. So we’ve been raised and made alive together with Christ only if we truly love the brethren! But it’s not enough to just say we love the brethren. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in Truth. And by this we know that we’re of the Truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. (1Jn3:18,19) We know we’ve passed from death to life and have been raised with Christ Spiritually, because we love the brethren in such a way we’re actually doing deeds of love towards them! Examine yourselves! (2Cor13:5) What are you doing for the saints? Most people will overemphasize whatever trivial little “good” things they think they’re doing. But the bible says – “according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love.” (Eph4:16) Are the “deeds of love” you’re doing really accomplishing anything concerning the growth of the body? You certainly don’t have any right to say you love the brethren if you’re not praying and interceding for them. You can’t truthfully say you love the brethren if you’re not participating financially in the support of the true church, in which most of the work of perfecting the brethren takes place. You can’t truthfully claim to love the brethren if you don’t participate in the church services in such a way as to bless and effectually edify them in love. (Eph4:16) And of course there are exceptional callings beyond the usual like what God is doing in the Glory of His Grace through those of you who are helping with that. We can see how awesomely God is using the Truths we’re publishing here in Christ’s love to save our brethren in the prisons and such from the deceptions of false “christianity” and the antichrist “churches.” Every real Christian has felt in his heart there’s something wrong with these Baptist types and their “easy believism” doctrines, but often our brethren would have no effectual proofs to use against these deceivers if we hadn’t done the awesome work God has given us in publishing the Glory of His Grace. This is a powerful work of Christ’s love in us, which we’re doing by the Spirit to expose the lies of the false churches and give God’s true children sharpened swords of Truth so they can overcome the wiles of the devil. And we can know we’ve passed from death to life because we love the brethren! (1Jn3:14)

When the Lord first began to reveal these things to me, I had no true brethren to go to for help or confirmation. The “christians” I knew had no answers. Most didn’t understand these things and many were even offended. But God was with me and upheld me. Now I’ve labored in the grace of God (1Cor15:10) for 20+ years to get these Truths out in such a way as God’s elect can easily understand them. The Preacher sought to find acceptable words; and what was written was upright -- Words of Truth! The words of the wise are like goads, and the words of scholars are like well-driven nails, given by one Shepherd. (Eccl 12:10,11) Because of the gracious work Christ has done through us today new believers can just pick up a Glory of His Grace book and find the Truth with an abundance of support scriptures already put together, everything they need to defeat the lies of these antichrist Baptists and other such false teachers. (2Pt2:1,2) Our Glory of His Grace book “What the bible says about “once saved/always saved” thoroughly exposes the many scriptural errors in this dangerous Baptist heresy. Through our ministry in Christ, the saints are being equipped. For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, that we should no longer be children tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine by the trickery of men in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but speaking the Truth in love may grow up in all things into Him who is the head – Christ. (Eph4:12,14,15) What God’s doing through us isn’t limited to our little group, so your hearts mustn’t be so small as to think of your Christian interests being all encompassed in our local “My Father’s House” church. God’s doing a worldwide work here, particularly through our internet site and our hearts must be as big as the world to believe for Him to do great things for our elect brethren on an international basis.

Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know no murderer has eternal life abiding in him. (1Jn3:15) A murderer is working for death. How could somebody working for death be on the side of eternal life? When you see so called “christians” filled with hate towards the true children of God as the Baptist-types hate people like us who stand for God’s Truths, it shows they don’t have eternal life in them. They couldn’t possibly behave the way they do towards the scriptures and God’s true children if they really had eternal life in them. But because I tell the Truth, you don’t believe Me. Which of you convicts Me of sin? And if I tell the Truth, why do you not believe Me? He who’s of God hears God’s Words; therefore you don’t hear, because you aren’t of God. (Jn8:45-47)

Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He’s given us. (1Jn3:24) In order to know Jesus abides in us we must know we have the Spirit, so we must be able to actually identify the presence of the Spirit in our lives. We may think we abide in Him and He in us because we believe we’re keeping His commandments, but it’s only our experiencing the identifiable operations of the Spirit in us that proves He abides in us and therefore confirms we really are keeping His commandments. The presence of the Spirit in the believers therefore must be perceptible. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Gal 5:22,23) The presence of the Spirit then is just as perceptible as the fruit He brings to us. If the joy is real, so is the Spirit. If the peace is real – it must be the Spirit! The fruit of the Spirit proves the Spirit is present in us with sanctifying power, where He keeps us from being tempted to inordinate anger, covetousness, sexual lust and things of that nature. (Gal 5:19-21) The works of the flesh are crucified by the power of the Spirit. For if you live according to the flesh you’ll die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you’ll live. (Rom8:13) And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. (Gal 5:24) Recently Josh gave testimony about how a young woman in a bikini approached his work place and it had no effect on him, while grown men around him, some of whom claimed to be “christians” were going gaga! Josh could behave differently than these false christians because he’s sanctified by the Holy Spirit in him. There are many such manifestations of the Spirit. The fact that you love the Word of God and enjoy reading it couldn’t be true if you’re in the flesh. To love God’s Word, and be able to read it with good understanding is a manifestation of the Spirit in you! (Jn14:26) When you experience peace in the midst of what would otherwise be a very troubling situation that’s an evidence the Spirit is guarding you. (Phil 4:7) Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. (Jn14:27) When you come out of a cold winter wind by walking into a warm room, you know there’s a heater close by because of the comfortable temperature. When you’re in the Spirit you can know it because of the Spiritual temperature! If you’re not vexed by things that bother ordinary people it’s because the Spirit is creating a sanctified area of peace around you. Also when you’re in the Spirit you have God’s light to see the right things to do and you can know the things you feel and think are coming from God because they’re too good to be from you! The Spirit comes with effect and His presence is as perceptible as when you’re walking through a night storm and you know it’s raining because you get wet. When you’re in the Spirit you also know it because you’re drenched with His love, joy, peace, patience etc. (Gal 5:22,23) When you’re in the Spirit you’ll love the things of God and love the Church. Your mind and heart are concerned with what you can do for God and the brethren, and not selfish things of your own. When I’m in God’s love, I know the Spirit has control of me. (Rom5:5;Eph3:17-19) The presence of the Spirit is also evidenced in a boldness to witness. (Act1:8) This is also related to being filled with the love of God for there’s no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. (1Jn4:18) By this I know I’m abiding in Christ, because the peace of God that passes all understanding guards My heart and mind. (Phil 4:6,7) If my heart and mind are guarded, the Spirit must be with me.

We’re of God. He who knows God hears us; he who’s not of God doesn’t hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. (1Jn4:6) Ultimately there are only two spirits: Truth or error! There are many manifestations of these two spirits but every manifestation is still either of Truth or error. Error is always a perversion of God’s Truth. Satan was the first to pervert Truth so he’s called the father of lies. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the Truth, because there’s no Truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he’s a liar and the father of it. (Jn8:44) Satan invented the spirit of error and he always manifests in that way. Now, if I’m born of Truth I’ll understand the language of my Father and Mother; which is Truth. The language of lies therefore will be alien to me.  The people who are in the flesh however, understand the language of the flesh which is lies and deceptions. They often think it’s cruel to tell the Truth. They believe it’s good to use lies to comfort each other. They don’t want to tell someone who has a fatal disease they’re likely to die, as it might upset them! Tell the Truth and the patient may have an opportunity to get right with God or even make proper provisions for their family’s welfare. That would be true good. But to comfort men with falsehoods is satan’s way of “doing good” which isn’t good. Likewise the father of lies and his offspring including many of the false churches won’t tell people they’re lost and going to hell. That might hurt their feelings. Tell them God loves them and they’re going to heaven even if they aren’t. Because telling people the Truth about their souls might save them, it’s good to do that! But satan doesn’t do good. He tells lies to make people feel good, but they end up in hell! It’s not good to do that! But that’s satan’s way and the way of his offspring. You’re of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the Truth, because there’s no Truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he’s a liar and the father of it. (Jn8:44) At first Truth may seem to hurt, but in the end it saves. At first lies may seem to comfort, but in the end they do terrible damage. In the end Truth saves you from hurt. God’s Truth can give you an opportunity to change things before they destroy you. Even if Truth hurts at first, if it’s received and acted upon, it saves! (1Pt4:1) But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they’re foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they’re spiritually discerned. (1Cor2:14) When we preach the gospel and people can’t understand us, we know they’re not of God. Flesh can’t understand anything godly! (1Jn4:6) We know when people reject us and our word’s they can’t be of God because we know what God has given us is of God, and if they were of God they’d know God’s language. We’ve heard reports of people who tried to read a Glory of His Grace book but end up saying, “I don’t understand it!” They’re not of God is why they don’t understand it. On the other hand, we’re continually receiving letters from people who’ve read one of our Glory of His Grace books, and can testify to the Spirit of God witnessing in their hearts that the Word they’re reading is true! (1Jn2:21) They can understand because they’re born of God. John said “I’m not writing to the people who don’t know the truth; I’m writing to the people who do.” (1Jn2:21) Concerning the Glory of His Grace, there’s no sense in me trying to write to people who aren’t of God. They can’t hear me. I’m of God! Only those who are of God can hear me. (Jn8:47) So I’m writing to people who know the Truth so they can be strengthened and established in it. We can identify the true church from the false on this verse alone. We know what we have is from God. If they can’t hear us, they can’t be of God. If they were of God they’d hear God’s words just as we do. If they were of God they’d be of the Spirit of Truth (1Jn4:6) – otherwise they’re of the spirit of error!

And we’ve known and believed the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. (1Jn4:16) By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. (1Jn3:16) This is the kind of love Jesus demonstrates, and the kind of love He expects from us. A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. (Jn13:34) Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. (1Jn4:11) Most so called “christianity” today is self-serving, and iniquitous. Most “believers” today have never experienced giving themselves in this Christian love that lays its life down for others. The majority who claim to be of Christ now days are trying to get something from God. (Jude12a) They’re not willing to lose their life or give themselves as a living sacrifice. (Rom12:1,2) Real Christianity speaks a whole different language, because the language of “give me” is a very different language from “give to others.” (Act20:35b) Those who are born of “give me” can’t hear those who are born of Christ and speaking of “giving to others.” When you speak the language of Christ in the Spirit, you’re sowing yourself into God’s work! (Gal 6:7-10) You know your life in this world is short and you don’t want to waste it. See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. (Eph5:15,16) It’s stupid to try to live for temporal things which are just falling apart on you in front of your very eyes. (2Pt2:19) In this world it’s all corruption; (2Pt1:4b) you’re growing old and dying, and the people you love are growing old and dying. The governments themselves are corrupting. (1Cor2:6) Even in our “Land of the free” the judicial systems are oppressively complex, time consuming and expensive. There’s rarely any justice for the poor. The rich and powerful, including the government and big business can often manipulate the courts against the less influential who don’t have the finances or expertise to defend themselves. (Jms2:6) Necessities we purchase many times break down very quickly. We have to pay to replace things that should’ve lasted, because they’re just not made right. This isn’t a world true believers want to stay in, but we know God has put us here for a purpose so let’s live in this age in such a way as we may attain to the high calling of God. (Phil 3:14) God’s principal purpose is that we perfect each other in Christ (Eph4:13) so we can be worthy of the next age and enter into His Kingdom. (2Pt1:10,11) This world is God’s potter’s wheel where the children of God are being made into useful vessels conformed to the image of Jesus. As the days spin by, if you’re truly one of God’s elect, you should be visibly growing more and more like Christ. (Rom8:29; 2Cor3:18) This is the main purpose of God for you that you become exactly like Jesus (Col 1:28) and that you’ll lay your life down for God and the brethren the way He did. (1Jn3:16) That’s the goal! If you’re successful in attaining to this, and keeping His works unto the end (Rev2:26) in the age to come you’ll be counted worthy of everlasting life and be abundantly welcomed into God’s Kingdom (2Pt1:11) to reign with Christ. (2Tim2:12a)

Whoever believes Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves Him who begot also loves him who’s begotten of Him. By this we know  we love the children of God, when we love God and keep His commandments. (1Jn5:1,2) Keeping God’s commandments is the proof of our love! A true believer for example will keep Jesus’ command to be baptized (Mk16:16) where he’ll be “born again” (Col 2:12;Tit3:5;1Pt3:21;Jn3:3-7) He who has My commandments and keeps them, it’s he who loves Me. (Jn14:21) Do you keep Jesus’ commandments? If so, that proves you love God and the children of God. We know that we’ve passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. (1Jn3:14a) We know we love the brethren if we keep Jesus’ commandments. So we also know we’ve passed from death to life if we keep Jesus’ commandments.

Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know He hears us, whatever we ask, we know we have the petitions we’ve desired of Him. (1Jn5:14,15) Jesus knows the Father always hears Him. (Jn11:42) That should be true of us also. We should know whatever we ask of God, He hears us. There’s never a reason to doubt God hears what you’re asking for, unless you’re in the flesh, in which case you couldn’t be asking according to His will. (Gal 5:17) God won’t listen to flesh. But if you’re in the Spirit, how could you ask for anything God wouldn’t answer yes to? (2Cor1:20) The Spirit can’t ask for anything that isn’t God’s will. (1Cor12:3)

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure. Concerning this thing I pleaded with the Lord three times that it might depart from me. And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I’ll rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2Cor12:7-9) Do you think the Lord here answered “No?” Jesus wasn’t answering “No,” but He was showing Paul that his petition would have interfered with a more important “Yes!” Paul wants to be mightily used by God, but he’s praying to put a stop to an infirmity that’s actually helping him to be more dependent on Christ, so Christ could be powerful in him. The “thorn” was keeping Paul weak in himself so Jesus could be very strong in him. So when Paul asks Him to remove the thorn, Jesus essentially answers that if He does that then He won’t be able to make Paul as powerful a minister as he desires to be. So Paul reconsiders and says, “Jesus don’t remove the thorn. I’d rather be weak so You can be strong.” This wasn’t Jesus saying “No!” but it was a negotiation to help Paul receive what he really wanted. God has already pre-determined His answer to every prayer prayed in Christ by a true saint. For all the promises of God in Him (Christ) are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us. (2Cor1:20) God’s answer is yes. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you’ll ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you’ll be My disciples. And in that day you’ll ask Me nothing. “Most assuredly,” I say to you, “whatever you ask the Father in My name He’ll give you.” (Jn15:7,8;16:23) “Yes,” and “Amen” is the only answer God will give to a saint who’s praying in Christ’s Spirit! He’s forever promised He’ll never say “No” to one who’s truly in Jesus. For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us – by me, Silvanus, and Timothy – was not “Yes and No,” but in Him was “Yes.” (2Cor 1:19) If we’re in His Spirit then we’re in His will. So if we’re in the Spirit God has only one answer to our prayers. One answer, “Yes!” It’s the only answer He’s got. God doesn’t think like we do. We think, “I’ve got to hear the question then I’ll decide what to answer. What God says is, “I only hear you if you’re in the Spirit. I only hear if you’re in Christ. And if I hear, I only have one answer for you. ‘Yes!’” But if you’re not in His Spirit; God doesn’t hear you. God is Spirit, He’s not flesh; He doesn’t hear flesh. If you’re in the flesh you’re not praying, you’re talking to yourself! How many sermons have we preached just to get you to see the importance of staying in the Spirit? Do you see how absolutely essential it is for you to stay in the Spirit. If you want God to hear when you pray – abide in His Spirit. And have faith if you’re in Christ when you pray God hears you, so you don’t need to hear Him answer “yes” to your prayer. If He’s heard you, then your answer is “yes.” It’s the only answer He’s got.

We know whoever’s born of God doesn’t sin; but he who’s born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one doesn’t touch him. (1Jn5:18) Most so called “christians” today think there’s no way they can stop sinning. They sure don’t know this verse. Since they aren’t keeping themselves and they do sin it’s a certainty such “christians” aren’t born of God. This scripture proves it. Since you must be born again (of God) to be saved, (Jn3:3) contemporary “christians” who don’t “keep themselves” and do continue to sin aren’t saved! It’s a peculiar tragedy that most contemporary “christians” are so ignorant of the things real Christians know that they can claim to be born of God when their behavior proves they’re not! My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. (Hos4:6a)

They can’t be saved if they’re not born of God. Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he can’t see the Kingdom of God.” (Jn3:3) But if they were born of God and obeying the Spirit of Christ in them they wouldn’t sin and they’d be keeping themselves. (1Jn5:18) So either they aren’t born again or they’re rejecting the Christ in them instead of putting Him on. (Eph4:22-24) So they aren’t saved. Yet they’re deceived into thinking they are because they don’t know what real Christians know! They’re bibs (bible ignorant believers.) Any “christianity that ignores any part of God’s Word is vain. It won’t save you! These people draw near to Me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. (Mt15:8,9) What generally passes for “Christianity” today is a counterfeit that completely ignores much of God’s Word and particularly these scriptures in 1st John. The masses who profess to believe in this “counterfeit religion” don’t have any faith to stop sinning and keep themselves, or really be led by the Spirit. (Rom8:14) They’ve rejected God’s Word in favor of their own opinions and experiences and they think they’re right because they’re “many.” They actually fulfill the scripture Broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. But narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it. (Mt7:13,14) and The time will come when they’ll not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they’ll heap up for themselves teachers; and they’ll turn their ears away from the Truth, and be turned aside to fables. (2Tim4:3,4) When these “faithless christians”  encounter real Christians like us who believe all of God’s Word they think we’re “strange” because we’re few. They call us a cult, persecute us in various ways and think we’re lying when we say because we’re born of God we don’t sin. “Nobody’s perfect they exclaim!” But we have “faith” and “If you believe, all things are possible to him who believes.” (Mk9:23) So we believe with God’s help we can be perfected. We can walk in the Spirit by Grace and keep ourselves from sin. (Col 1:28) But because the false christians don’t have faith in God’s Word they have a form of godliness but deny its power. And concerning them, the bible says  from such people turn away! (2Tim3:5) Their false “christianity” doesn’t save them. But because we do believe God’s Word including these wonderful verses in 1st John – His Word becomes true for us and in us and we can overcome sin! You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who’s in you is greater than he who’s in the world. For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world -- our faith. (1Jn4:4;5:4) So the scriptures are confirmed in us which proves our Christianity is real and saving us though “few there be that find it.” (Mt7:14) We know we’re of God. (1Jn5:19) We can be absolutely certain we’re of God. We can tell when someone’s not of God because they do things that prove they’re not of God. Any continuing sin, loving the world or the things of the world, or rejecting of God’s Word shows they’re not in the Spirit. (1Jn2:15) 1st John is such a simple letter but it very powerfully defines the characteristics of real Christianity. John knows the people in his church are solidly established in Christ. When he says things like, “We’re of God. He who knows God hears us; he who’s not of God doesn’t hear us. By this we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error.” (1Jn4:6) he’s telling us his brethren are solidly established in the Spirit of Truth. And he’s writing them this letter to insure they stay there. And we know the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who’s true; and we’re in Him who’s true and, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, keep yourselves from idols. (false gods) Amen. (1Jn5:20,21) Jesus has given us a good understanding of the true God. We know He’s given us that understanding. Now keep yourself away from false gods including false “christs” (2Cor11:4) At the time John wrote this epistle, Christianity was coming under attack by a new heresy called “gnosticism,” which in the Greek actually means “knowledge.” O Timothy! Guard what was committed to your trust, avoiding the profane and idle babblings and contradictions of what is falsely called knowledge (gnosticism) – by professing it some have strayed concerning the faith. (1Tim6:20,21) Paul was encountering the early signs of gnosticism when he wrote Timothy this warning. Today all around us we have a people who think they’re saved by “knowledge” or what they know about Jesus when they don’t have the Spirit of Jesus. Now if anyone doesn’t have the Spirit of Christ, he’s not His. (Rom8:9b) Most of these things John say’s true Christians know are indicative of our having the Spirit. Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. But whoever keeps His Word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we’re in Him. If you know He’s righteous, you know that everyone who practices righteousness is born of Him. We know we’ve passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who doesn’t love his brother abides in death. Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He’s given us. (1Jn2:3,5,29;3:14,24)

He who has the Son has life; he who doesn’t have the Son of God doesn’t have life. And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1Jn5:12,11) It’s not knowing about Jesus that’s salvation, it’s knowing Him in the sense that you possess Him and He possesses you; that you abide in Him and He in you. You can’t say you know Him or are abiding in Him if you’re not keeping His commandments. He who says, “I know Him,” and doesn’t keep His commandments, is a liar, and the Truth isn’t in him. (1Jn2:4) So if you really know Him, you must be keeping His commandments, and you must love the brethren; not just in word but in deed. We know that we’ve passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who doesn’t love his brother abides in death. My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in Truth. And by this we know that we’re of the Truth, and shall assure our hearts before Him. (1Jn3:14,18,19) Real Christians abide in Christ. They don’t sin! (1Jn3:6) The proof that we abide in Christ is we have the actual presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling us. (v24) And the proof that we have the Spirit is found in the manifestations of the fruits of the Spirit in our lives. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Gal 5:22,23) This is how we know we’re real Christians. A real Christian knows the Truth; and knows no lie is of the Truth. (1Jn2:21) Anyone who comes to us with a lie isn’t a brother. He’s not from God! He’s not a Christian; no matter what he says, no matter how many verses of scripture he can quote! Jesus is the Truth! (Jn14:6) If you find a lie in someone, that person isn’t of Christ because no lie is of the Truth also means no liar is of Jesus! Any church or denomination preaching lies is not of God because God is Truth. Jesus is the Head of His Church and no Church in which Jesus is really Head could be teaching lies. (Col 1:18,1Tim3:15) We know Baptists aren’t of God. They’re false brethren because they believe lies like “once saved/always saved.” (Mt24:13) They don’t believe if you’re born of God you don’t sin. (1Jn3:9) They believe they can’t stop sinning. He who sins is of the devil, for the devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil. (1Jn3:8) 1st John is an extraordinarily definitive book! It’s so small, so simple, and yet it defines precisely who the real Christians are. 1st John proves if we’re real Christians our Christianity is real because of what we know, and what we know, we know because of who we know! And we know the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is True; and we are in Him who is True and in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the True God and eternal life. (1Jn5:20)

Prophecy: Are you or aren’t you Mine? Am I or am I not in control of you? Do I interact with your life? Do I teach you and guide you, show you where to go and what to do? Are you consciously asking Me “Lord, where should I go and what should I do? How and what should I speak? In what way should I move?” You sing a song, “Lord take up Your Holy throne, in my heart, in Your Church, in the earth.” I’ve taken up My Holy throne in those who let Me rule and reign in them! But My throne in you isn’t just to make you feel good. My throne is Me being the sovereign Lord of your life, and you submitting to My Lordship. My throne in My Church is the same; where every person in My Father’s House is led by Me and submitted to Me. False churches and fake believers think My throne is a “feel good” party. But My throne is My judgment seat, My ruling place, My sovereign Lordship over My people in all they say and do! Let Me take up My throne in your heart, and in your church, and let Me use you to demonstrate God’s glory in a people in which I’m truly reigning, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: Just before I went home to be with My Father I prayed that He’d sanctify those who believe in Me. I prayed He’d make them one with Me, and with Him and they’d be perfectly one with us and each other. My prayers are always answered by My Father. My prayers are always according to His will because I’m perfectly one with Him and with His will at all times. And this is the mark of My people, of My elect, of the true believers is they’re always perfectly in unity with what I’m doing and with what I’m saying and where I’m going and where I’m taking them. In My people there are no arguments, there are no contentions, but there’s perfect unity. And these are the true believers, and these are the only ones who’ll enter My Kingdom. For there’ll be nothing that I’m coming back for that isn’t one with Me, and one with My Father, and one with Our heart and purposes. Those who’ll come home with Me at My coming are only those who become perfectly joined together with Me now, thus saith the Lord.  (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)
