Possess Your Souls!/Perfect In One!

By Pastor Bill Taylor

A publication of My Father's House, inc. Volume 10/ Issue 8

Prophecy: You’ve prayed I’d arise and our enemies be scattered. And I tell you, I’m rising even now and our enemies are being scattered. For our enemies are lies, deceptions, deceits, and hypocrisies. And what I arise in is My truth. It’s My truth that shines light on the deceptions and deceits, that breaks them down and scatters them. In this place right now I’m arising like I haven’t arisen in many a year. For here My truth is boldly going forth. My truth is awesomely rising up and these truths will never be put under a bushel again; they’ll never be hidden again. For My truth is going forth to save and to conquer. I tell you also, the power of My love is the power to correct when you don’t think right. And there’s no better way I can draw you near unto Myself except to change the way you think by showing you what’s wrong with your thinking, and turning your thinking towards that which is right. Thus I say in My Word that whom I love I chasten, and thus I love you and lift you up by chastening and by correction. So don’t become sentimental in thinking My salvation is all tulips and roses and tea. There are some difficult things that need to be done to draw you to Myself, and you must endure them if you’re to be perfected. And it’s My love that’s perfecting you, saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at "My Father's House")

For I say to you that this which is written must still be accomplished in Me: “And He was numbered with the transgressors.” For the things concerning Me have an end. (Lk22:37) Jesus is saying everything that’s been prophesied about Him must come to pass. You can’t ignore anything that’s been prophesied about Him because every prophecy must be fulfilled or “have an end.” Similarly the things prophesied concerning the saints also have an end or a proper conclusion. There are many things Jesus has foretold concerning us and the others of His saints that must be fulfilled. In a recent service I rebuked the church because you were praying in contradiction to one another. Some of you don’t know the Lord and you don’t know the scriptures so you don’t know the things that have an end and you’re not seeing what God is doing. So on the one hand the Spiritual are praying for God to do the very thing He prophesied He’d be doing and on the other hand the ignorant are praying for Him to stop doing the very thing He’s prophesied He’d do. And this happens because some of you have so little knowledge of God and of the things that pertain to having an end or the prophecies that Jesus has made concerning the saints and which must come to pass.

One of those prophecies is Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, and say, “If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we wouldn’t have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.” Therefore you’re witnesses against yourselves that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. Fill up, then, the measure of your fathers’ guilt. Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Therefore, indeed, I send you prophets, wise men, and scribes: some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city, that on you may come all the righteous blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. Assuredly, I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation. (Mt23:29-36) Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. But beware of men, for they’ll deliver you up to councils and scourge you in their synagogues. You’ll be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. Now brother will deliver up brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you’ll be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved. (Mt10:16-18,21-22) These things I have spoken to you, that you should not be made to stumble. They will put you out of the synagogues; yes, the time is coming that whoever kills you will think that he offers God service. (Jn16:1-2) That’s what Jesus prophesies will happen to “some of” the saints. So we’ve been hearing about persecution at several of the prisons where Baptists and false christians are persecuting our Glory Of His Grace brethren. Then what are these “persecutors” doing? They’re filling up the measure of their fathers’ guilt. False christians are the “Pharisees” of today. Nobody looks more like a pharisee than a proud Baptist, with their doctors of divinity, church professional jobs and positions; “Look at me I’m a prominent member on my church’s board or I have an important position at the denominational headquarters!” This is all phariseeism. And Jesus said He would expose them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, nor hidden that will not be known. (Lk12:2) In exposing the false “christians” Jesus says He’s going to let them demonstrate their hypocrisy by His sending of righteous men to them who they’ll persecute so everyone including the angels in heaven can see what hypocrites they really are. For although they have a high opinion of themselves and tell themselves, “If we lived in the days of Jesus we’d have recognized Him, we’d have worshipped Him, we’d have loved Him!” Jesus says, “I’ll send them Christ-like men today and see how they treat them.” And if they treat the true Christians who have Christ in them badly today that proves they would have been among the ones who crucified Christ then. If they can’t see Christ in His people today they wouldn’t have known Him then either. So Jesus has prophesied He’ll do this and if He doesn’t do it, He’d be a false prophet. He’s said He’s going to do this so He must and will do it.

In reference to this Jesus has said the hypocrites will kill, crucify, and scourge some of His followers. And when we hear of them doing these things to us or our brethren what do we do? We pray for God to stop it and not let them do such things! But if Jesus doesn’t let them do these things He’d be a false prophet. Why are the true believers so surprised when the false christians do exactly what Jesus prophesied they’d do? Then He said to them, “O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe in all that the prophets have spoken! Ought not the Christ to have suffered these things and to enter into His glory?” (Lk24:25,26) Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. (1Pt4:12,13) So Jesus has to send His righteous people to the “Pharisees” and hypocrites and let the wicked do these things to His wise men, prophets, and scribes so the false christians can justly be condemned. Then everything that’s happened at the prisons and nursing homes and such is exactly what Jesus said would happen. These aren’t unusual things but they’re a fulfillment of the scriptures because the things concerning us also have an end! So what should our attitude towards them be? Oh Lord You have to put a stop to this? Put a stop to it? He’s the one who prophesied it must happen!

Jesus said some of us would testify before magistrates, administrators, corrections officers, government authorities, wardens, chaplains, bureaucrats, etc. In the Scriptural sense anybody who rules over others is a magistrate. So shall He sprinkle (startle, surprise) many nations. Kings shall shut their mouths at Him; For what had not been told them they shall see, and what they had not heard they shall consider. (Is52:15) Most authorities are too busy to be serious about religion but because of the persecutions and things that are transpiring at some of the prisons, work places, nursing homes, etc. many of these “busy” people are being confronted with religious questions and situations that demand their attention. Authorities who on their own would never read the Bible or the Glory Of His Grace are now being drawn to investigate what’s going on with these persecuted Christians and many are starting to see and hear. So this is a fulfillment today of Isaiah’s prophecy and it’s exactly what Jesus says will happen in Matthew. Things these authorities never before considered are being put in front of them in such a way they can’t be ignored. Look how Paul’s encounters with wicked Jewish persecutors enabled him to bear witness before Felix, Festus, Agrippa, and eventually even Caesar. (Act24-28) When Paul was unjustly imprisoned because of the false testimonies these “Pharisees” brought against him, what did Jesus say? “You poor thing! Isn’t it awful what they’re doing to you?” NO! But the following night the Lord stood by him and said, “Be of good cheer, Paul; for as you have testified for Me in Jerusalem, so you must also bear witness at Rome.” (Act23:11) “You’re in prison to testify of Me. Be of good cheer Paul! It’s My purpose to get this message to the highest levels of authority where rulers and people who wouldn’t investigate it on their own, who wouldn’t ordinarily be interested in such things, will be forced to hear and pay attention. I’m putting My witnesses right in front of them and they’re going to testify.” Why do you think Paul calls himself “the prisoner of the Lord?” I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called. (Eph4:1)

So what’s really going on in the persecutions we’re hearing of in some of the prisons, by false churches, and other places? Is it something unusual or is it a fulfillment of Scripture? Jesus said these things would happen and He’s permitting them to happen. He said, “I’ll send you prophets, wise men, and scribes.” (Mt23:34) He said, “Beware of men because they’ll imprison you and scourge you.” (Mt10:17,18) Some of you will escape these things but not all of you will. But concerning those of you who are captured; You’ll be brought before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them and to the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, don’t worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak. (Mt10:18-19) When such things happen to us then we’re glorifying Jesus and fulfilling the scriptures. For the things the bible says about us have an end too. Beloved, don’t think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy. Therefore let those who suffer according to the will of God commit their souls to Him in doing good, as to a faithful Creator. (1Pt4:12,13,19) For We suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together. (Rom8:17b) And these also fulfill the scripture The things they haven’t seen they’re going to consider and the things they haven’t heard they’re going to hear. (Is52:15) For some of these people this is the only way God can get the gospel message to them and He will get the message to them and they will be answerable for hearing that message and not be able to excuse themselves by pleading ignorance! God is making sure they’ve heard it so He can judge them for hearing it. Then why should persecutions get us upset as though something is happening outside of God’s will when these things are actually what He said would come to pass and in many ways they serve His purposes. So these wicked persecutors are falling right into God’s trap. When they do exactly what He said they’d do then He can do to them exactly what He said He’d do which is to bring upon them all the blood guilt from righteous Abel to Zechariah and all the wrath their sins deserve. (Mt23:35) In these persecutions there’s also a place for His servants to bear witness to His truth so that many people may consider what they haven’t considered. (Is52:15)

By obeying God our young men who are being persecuted for Christ’s truth in the prisons are becoming living epistles. So the men around them who don’t understand the Bible and don’t know if the Baptists are right or the Glory of His Grace believers are right can look at what’s going on and see the wickedness and cruelty in the false christians. Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! (Joel 3:14a) If persecuted Christians are really behaving Spiritually the people who witness their sufferings can see the patience, the gentleness, the kindness, and the true love of God in the real Christians. So the true believers become a sermon in the very act of being persecuted. Their patience and love are such a lesson that anyone who has a heart to recognize what is good can see the truth through them. So there’ll be much fruit because people who wouldn’t read or understand the Glory of His Grace can see and understand what’s going on in front of their eyes and many will turn to God. Believers who bear their persecutions joyfully, patiently, with kindness, love, and Christ-likeness, and who abide in the Spirit will bring forth much fruit by the very way they live. Their Christ-like lives cause the observers near them to consider what they haven’t considered and to hear what they haven’t heard. And some of these will come to see truths they hadn’t previously thought of and thus the persecuted believers bring forth fruit and Glory to God. Do you feel sorry for our persecuted brethren? Or can you see this is their finest opportunity to shine for God! When will they find a better time to glorify God or show themselves “approved in Christ!” (Rom16:10) If you are reproached for the name of Christ, blessed are you, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is glorified. (1Pt4:14) In this they can truly fulfill the scriptures by being a living sacrifice. (Rom12:1-2) By standing up for Christ well they show themselves worthy of God’s Kingdom. So that we ourselves boast of you among the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that you endure, which is manifest evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be counted worthy of the Kingdom of God, for which you also suffer. (2Th1:4-5) This can be their finest hour and greatest opportunity to glorify God if they’ll receive it as a privilege to suffer for Jesus. So they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for His name. (Act5:41) Do not fear any of those things which you are about to suffer. Indeed, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and you will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. (Rev2:10) Don’t feel sorry for them, but pray for God to fill them with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and Spiritual understanding That they may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy. (Col 1:10-11) Pray that their faith may prove “genuine” and truly be unto the glory of God! In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ. (1Pt1:6-7) This is a wonderful opportunity for the true believers to obey Christ and fulfill the scriptures. Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they revile and persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely for My sake. Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. (Mt5:10-12) And that’s what we’re praying our persecuted brethren will do, that they’ll rejoice and glorify God and that through their suffering for Christ they’ll bring forth much fruit.

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they’ve called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household! Therefore don’t fear them. For there’s nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known. (Mt10:24-26) The wicked won’t get away with anything! Since it is a righteous thing with God to repay with tribulation those who trouble you. (2Th1:6) Whatever I tell you in the dark, speak in the light; and what you hear in the ear, preach on the housetops. And don’t fear those who kill the body but can’t kill the soul. Aren’t two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don’t fear therefore; you’re of more value than many sparrows. (Mt10:27-31) And you’ll be hated by all for My name’s sake. But not a hair of your head shall be lost. (Lk21:17-18) My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. (Jms1:2-3) By your patience possess your souls. (Lk21:19)

Prophecy: What does the death of a martyr accomplish? Does it seem like a wasted life? A life cut short? A life that could’ve accomplished much left unfinished? I tell you, the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but they’re so mighty it’s beyond the understanding of mortal men. And a martyr is the most powerful soldier I have! A martyr is My sniper’s bullet, even My smart bomb.  I’ve said in My infallible Word that what you do to another you do to yourself! And when a wicked man slays a martyr he has killed himself! The martyr is the bullet of his suicide. And when I send a martyr out and let wicked men kill him, I have killed those wicked men by means of the martyr. I have allowed those wicked men to destroy themselves unknowingly because the death they impose upon My martyr whether by blade or fire or noose will come back upon themselves. But have I not also said not a hair of your head will perish? And this is the faith and the patience of the martyrs, after I send out My martyr “missile” and My “saint” has brought down those wicked men I will raise My martyr into everlasting life and into My eternal Kingdom. And he’ll be with Me forever while the wicked will be cast into eternal fire and be eternally separated from the righteous. Thus I have no more powerful weapon to effect My just and righteous judgments than My martyrs, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: If I were to appear in My glory the battle would be over. Everything the evil ones have done would be brought to an immediate end. And that would also bring to an end your opportunity to distinguish yourself as a true and faithful Christian. It would bring to an end your opportunity to bear fruit; your opportunity to show how faithfully you can serve Me, how much you love Me, by your willingness to suffer and endure persecutions and slanders and reproaches for My name’s sake. It would bring to an end every opportunity you have to be a glory to Me and to show you’re worthy of entering into My Kingdom. I love you too much to take away your opportunity to shine, saith the Lord. Look upon the things that you’re suffering in this world as your opportunity to shine for Me so you may enter into My glory and share in My glory and be counted worthy of My Kingdom. I love you so much I want you to be found worthy and to know yourself you’re worthy and for others to know you’re worthy and I’m giving you the opportunity to show you’re worthy. So don’t look upon these tribulations as hardships for they aren’t hardships in that sense – hard to bear. They are opportunities unto your glory and unto Mine, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: I say to you, My people, that My ear has heard every word of those who have spoken against you and have tried to cast shame upon you for doing My will. They’ve tried to cast shame upon you for your obeying Me in the things I have shown you: coming to church daily, obeying My Word, wearing the covering, and the ministries that I have given you. Who is it that shall cast shame upon Me the Living God? I say none shall do this and not be rewarded according to their works. For My Son, seeing the joy that was set before Him, despised the shame and truly He has the oil of gladness poured out upon Him now. And My people, you also shall despise the shame for the joy that is set before you. And even now, I give unto you My peace and My joy and I pour  upon you the oil of gladness in the midst of a wicked and perverse generation. And I say also, that upon those who’ve blasphemed and upon those who have left Me and you and have tried to make you feel guilt for obeying Me and upon all those you have met in the workplaces and outside of this place who have spoken wicked things of you and tried to make you feel guilty for doing that which I have told you to do, I say, that I’m pouring out My shame upon them and they will not despise it. For no man shall despise the shame that comes from Me. And the shame they’ve tried to cast upon you I’ll pour upon their own heads. So My people, hold fast to My Spirit, hold fast to the things I’ve shown you, hold fast to My testimonies. For I’ll  pour out My glory upon you. And those who don’t repent and come to Me, they’ll only see My glory with their eyes, but they’ll not taste of it. But those of you who’ve stood up for Me, who’ve despised the shame I’ll strengthen you and settle you and you’ll have joy and gladness in your hearts because you’ve stood up for Me and honored Me, saith the Lord. And I’ll give you words that will convict the wicked of their sins. And I’ll show you the things to do and the things to pray that will cause you to have a great victory, for I am with you and I am the Living God that dwells among My people to strengthen and defend them. For I will glorify those who glorify Me, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)

 Perfect In One!

Prophecy: Faith is the difference! My people have faith that when they ask Me to show them My wisdom, I will. When they ask Me how to do something, I’ll show them how. And the way I show them won’t be like the world because I don’t give My wisdom to the world and I don’t give it to people who don’t have faith. And these around you who claim to be Mine, and yet they don’t come to ask of Me; they’re not led by Me. Every time they make a decision they follow the wisdom of the world. It’s plain for anyone to see, they don’t have faith! If they had faith in Me they’d be doing things My way. Since they don’t have faith they do it their own way. If  they don’t have faith in Me, how can they teach you to have faith in Me? I tell you, if they’re faithless, they’re not My people because My people are distinguished above all things by faith. The just shall live by faith, and because they have faith in Me they come to Me. And they let Me lead them and let Me manifest My wisdom and My grace and mercy through them, and they aren’t like the world and they don’t do as the world for they are like Me and do as I do, thus saith the Lord. (Prophecy delivered at “My Father’s House”)

That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head -- Christ -- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. For the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Eph4:14-16,12) And the glory which You gave Me I’ve given them, that they may be one just as We are one: I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You’ve sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me. (Jn17:22-23)

Christ’s church is the place where we come together to bless each other and build each other up until we’ve all become just like Jesus. Everyone of us has the same purpose though we each have different parts to bring. The end purpose of the things we do and share in our church gatherings is that the brethren all become mature in Christ. Everything that pertains to making our church services successful is Spiritual. Everything! Even the practical or physical things we do must have Spiritual applications. And it’s often disconcerting how many practical things are being left undone by saints who should know better when such things are vital to making the service successful. Anything you can see that would help our church service to better accomplish the goal of unity with Christ you should be doing it.

And you must remember the ultimate purpose isn’t just to share, the purpose isn’t just to pray, the purpose isn’t just to give a testimony, the purpose is to do something that actually helps the brethren to become mature in Christ – that causes them to have a greater faith – a prayer that brings them more and more into the Spirit – a sharing that actually causes them to be edified in Christ or inspires them to attain to the goal of becoming perfected in Christ. And too often that’s been left out. You think the purpose is just to share but it isn’t. If you’re trying to row a boat across a lake you must row in the right direction. The purpose isn’t just to put your oars in the water. If you’re paddling in the wrong direction you aren’t going anywhere, you aren’t helping anybody. And everything that pertains to your sharing, which Ephesians calls “every joint doing its part;” has to be useful to helping the brethren attain the maturity that Christ is calling us into. So you must be praying you’ll be useful and looking for the things that would be helpful and keeping your eyes open. So often so-called “believers” come to church blind to even the ordinary things that are needful concerning the service. Do you talk with each other in front of the water fountain so no-one can get a drink? Do you hold a conversation in the parking lot occupying an empty parking space when others are trying to park? Do you leave tissues strewn about your seat for someone else to clean up? Do you sit in an outside seat so later arrivals have to climb over you to get to an inner seat? Do you whisper to someone sitting near you during the service and cause others near you to have trouble hearing or concentrating on the preacher’s message? There are so many other ways “believers” can be inconsiderate and all of it’s FLESH. As Paul said In giving these instructions I don’t praise you, since you come together not for the better but for the worse. For first of all, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you, and in part I believe it. For he who eats and drinks in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. For this reason many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. (1Cor11:17-18,29-30) Selfishness brings judgment upon you even in church and if you behave selfishly or inconsideratly how can you think you’ll have anything Spiritual or useful to share?

I’m no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are. I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; (us) that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us. (Jn17:11,20-21) The astounding thing about this is Jesus is actually praying for the believers to become a part of the Godhead. This is the most awesome truth in the Bible. Nothing surpasses this in its power or profundity. Jesus is asking for the “lowly” human beings that come to Him in faith to become as united to the Father as He is. Where is the “church” that’s even begun to grasp this? Where are the believers who’ve even begun to manifest it? We’ve no where near scratched the surface of the power of this prayer and what Jesus is asking for – that we’d actually be as much a part of the Godhead as He is. How one with the Father is Jesus? Completely! So what’s He asking you to be? Completely one with God! We know if we ask anything according to God’s will He hears us and we know if He hears us we have the petitions we ask of Him. (1Jn5:14-15) Is there any truth in the Bible that is a more plain and powerful expression of the will of God than Jesus wanting you and me to be one with Him, so one with Him that we are just like Him even in our unity with the Father? It’s God’s perfect, highest and most profound will that we experience the same unity Jesus has with His Father, and the same unity the Father has with Christ. Is there any truth more profound yet so easy to understand as that? This is so simple and so extraordinary yet so easy to comprehend that it actually surpasses John 3:16 in the power and profundity of what it’s saying. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (Jn3:16) That whosoever believes in Him should not perish but be eternally one with God. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. (1Th4:17) Jesus is asking the Father to make us just as one with Him and the Father as He and the Father are with each other! It’s absolutely God’s will to do this! It’s not conceivable that even an iota of this prayer wouldn’t be answered by God if you prayed it in faith asking God to do this for you. Jesus has prayed for this unity for us but we also need to pray for it and believe to receive! Jesus wants us to have it but we need to want it too. It’s obvious if you haven’t experienced this unity with God you haven’t asked for it because the Bible evidences there’s nothing God would more deeply desire to give you than this! It’s the most important thing Jesus desires you to have!

Now if you don’t have enough unity with me and the brethren here at “My Father’s House” to even get to church on time or participate in the regular meetings, you haven’t prayed this prayer. How can you read about Jesus praying this prayer and yet ignore it as far as you praying it! What would God do for you if you’d take it to heart this unity is available to you and something God wants very much for you to have? What’s going to happen when you start praying in faith to receive this? And what will happen when you get it? What’s the main battle we fight in this church? Why is it I have to come in here so often to face some of you like you’re God’s enemies? It’s because some of you are hindering the work instead of doing the work. You aren’t one with Christ – you aren’t one with me – you aren’t one with each other – because you’re not praying this prayer! It isn’t some fancy ideology you need, some new and deep revelation. You need to understand the simplest verses in the Bible and get into believing to receive them. (Mk11:24) If there’s an easy to believe verse in the Bible; this has to be it. Everything in the New Testament Scriptures points to us being one with Christ. And if you believe it you’ll – Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Eph6:10) That Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height -- to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Eph3:17-19) By being one with Christ you become one with the Godhead; filled with all of the fullness of God. You become one with the Father, the Son and the Spirit. For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. (Col 2:9-10) You’re elevated to the very throne of God. You’re seated in the heavenlies in Christ Jesus. (Eph2:4-6) What could you possibly lack if God would answer this prayer in you? Would we lack in prophecy? Would we lack in miracles? Would we lack in healings? Would we lack in wisdom? As a part of the Godhead what could we possibly need that we wouldn’t have? Nothing! Then how difficult is it for you to take a hold of this promise when you can see how much Jesus wants you to have it? Jesus is the incarnate expression of the will of His Father so Jesus wouldn’t have prayed this if the Father didn’t want it too. He even gives us the same glory the Father has given Him so we can attain to all He is. (Jn17:22) If we as a church take hold of this verse and bring it into manifestation, we’re going to see the glory of God. This is the key to God’s glory! This is what will make us the church Jesus is looking for. That He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. (Eph5:27) The true church is Christ’s bride. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. (Eph5:30,32) If we’re to be His bride we must be one with Him. For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh. (Eph5:31)

The contemporary “churches,” the false “churches” have been missing this most basic point that if you’re to be the church Jesus is looking for, you must be one with Him. And if you are one with Him you won’t be living a separate life of your own. I’ve been crucified with Christ; it’s no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. (Gal 2:20) If you’re one with Him, this verse must be true for you. If we’re truly Christians the only life we have is His life because You died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory. (Col 3:3-4) If you’re really one with Him, the primary things you think about concern accomplishing His purposes – finishing His work – doing the things He wants to do. If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. (v1-2) It’s an absolute indictment, an infallible condemnation of the false christianity around us insofar as they say they’re just sinners saved by grace and can’t be anything but sinners. Because any sin, the least little sin is a departure from being one with God. True Christians understand this. Whoever abides in Him (is one with) doesn’t sin. Anyone who sins has neither seen Him nor known Him. (1Jn3:6) We know that whoever is born of God doesn’t sin; but he who’s been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one doesn’t touch him. (1Jn5:18)

The very reason sin is evil is it’s a disunity, a difference of opinion; an argument with God. Sin is calling God a liar! (1Jn5:10) Sin is calling something true that God says is a lie, or calling something a lie that God says is true. Sin is doing something God says not to do. Whenever you are doing the things God says to do, it isn’t sin. Whenever you’re in obedience to God, you’re His friend. But as soon as you do something He says not to do you become an enemy in deed and you are opposing Him. Even if your mouth still calls God your friend – even if you still tell Him you love Him, the practical matter is the moment you’re doing something different from what He says to do, you’re opposing God and acting like an enemy. So your fruit becomes the works of an enemy because instead of helping to get God’s work done you’re now hindering. Sin is a departure from honoring God, it is a departure from worshiping God, it is a departure from loving God. Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he’ll keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We’ll come to him and make Our home with him. He who doesn’t love Me doesn’t keep My words; and the word which you heard is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me.” (Jn14:23-24) It’s a departure from obeying God, it is a departure from serving God – it is all those things! The least sin is a complete disunity with God, an utter contradiction to being one with Him. And Jesus wants us to have perfect unity with God. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You’ve sent Me, and have loved them as You’ve loved Me. (Jn17:23) That He says, “That the world may know” proves He’s not talking about us becoming perfectly one with God when we go to heaven. This isn’t something we have to wait until after the rapture to attain! Jesus wants us to have it now that the world may know God has sent Jesus. So this tells us a perfect unity with God in Christ is available right now. We can actually have it now, unlike the blessed hope which is something you can’t believe to receive now because it’s not yet given. (See our previous Glory of His Grace publication “The Gospel Hope.”) I can believe when the time comes I’ll be ready to meet Jesus in the air but I can’t be raptured today. I can’t believe for it until God gives it. But this oneness with Christ is given. I can believe for this unity now. And in fact I’m personally experiencing this unity. When I prayed under God’s anointing for seven hours yesterday what was I experiencing? I’m experiencing my oneness with Christ. And what am I praying for? I’m praying His will be done specifically in many areas over which I’m watching. And today my prayers are not repetitious but still they’re an expression of my union with Christ and His purposes.

Right now I’m working on a Glory of His Grace book “For Conscience Sake.” Every Glory of His Grace book is a great book. They’re all present truth revelations straight from the throne of God. This one is no exception! It has some very needful truths in it, but even so I had to lay this important book aside to pray even more. And though this book will be very helpful to the elect when it’s published, I had to stop my work on it and set it aside because the Spirit of Christ was impressing upon me that prayer right now is more important! I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You’ve sent Me, and have loved them as You’ve loved Me. (Jn17:23) God is calling us right now to fulfill this scripture. Right now you’re to believe for it. We must take hold of this same unity with God that Jesus has that no matter what we’re doing God can speak to us and show us what His will is – where we ought to go – what we need to do to bring forth fruit. Insofar as we attain a real unity with God in Christ our church services will be glorious and every service will be effectual in establishing and conforming us to Christ. In accomplishing the purposes God called us into by having a Spiritual church we can be an example to others of what God’s true church was intended to be by the Lord Jesus, so they can see and believe! And that’s exactly what this verse is saying; that others will see our unity with God and believe. I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You’ve loved Me. (Jn17:23) This is therefore the key to true and effectual evangelism – that the world may believe because of what they see in us! It’s the lack of this that causes evangelistic ministries to fail so often in the contemporary “churches.” If they aren’t demonstrating this true unity with God in Christ, the world won’t believe!

Now is it possible to be without sin? Most “churches” around us don’t think so but we can see they’re actually denying what Jesus is praying for here. How could we be one with the Godhead and have sin in us? How could we have the same unity Jesus has with the Father unless we were as sinless as Jesus? Because every sin is a separation from God! It isn’t unity! So this verse, “That they may be made perfect in one!” (Jn17:23) is a very powerful perfection passage! The goal is that we’d all be made perfect in one – perfect in Christ. Now what are you doing to take hold of and fulfill this? These verses show us a realistic goal Jesus has for His church. Are we truly His church? The Godly desire to fulfill Jesus’ prayer here at “My Father’s House” is moving me to spend hours in prayer. Just like Paul when he travails that Christ may be formed in the Galatians, (Gal 4:19) I’m praying for Christ to be formed here in you. The Spirit has already taken hold of me concerning this purpose. “To apprehend that for which Christ has apprehended me.” (Phil 3:12) For it’s God who works in me both to will and to do for His good pleasure. (Phil 2:13) So this is happening in me. I’m seeing and feeling and experiencing this unity with God and His purposes. Now what is going on in you? Because to fulfill this scripture that we all be made perfect in one, what’s going on in me must be going on in you or you aren’t in unity with me or with Christ! I believe strongly that what’s in me is exactly what’s in Jesus concerning these things. He’s feeling these things and He is letting me feel them, thus I’m in a heart to heart unity with Him. And when you start feeling these things also, you’ll be in unity with me and with Christ, and “My Father’s House” church will truly be in unity with God! Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world. O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I’ve known You; and these have known that You sent Me. And I’ve declared to them Your name, and will declare it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them. (Jn17:24-26)

Prophecy: When someone has truly been regenerated and they’ve really met Me and they’ve really given themselves to be one with Me, they don’t have to be told to be givers. They don’t have to be told to love. They don’t have to be told to obey Me. These things become part of them because I’ve become part of them. When you continually see yourself falling into pride, disobedience, robbing the church, not giving, not doing your fair share, not loving your brethren, what you’re doing is living for yourself. You’re not connected to Me, you’re not one with Me and you haven’t met Me. For those who are born again are filled with My Spirit, they’re connected to Me and as My Word says if you sin you’ve never seen Me or known Me. If you knew Me you wouldn’t be doing such things. Now I’m saying to you who have been continually erring in the flesh, come to Me and get to know Me and I’ll bless you and you’ll be a blessing to all My people. And another thing, I don’t have to tell My people they should be a blessing for they are a blessing. My people are always a blessing. Wherever they go they bless. And when there are those who aren’t a blessing it’s because I’m not going with them and they aren’t going with Me and they aren’t abiding in Me. They’re not one with Me. But I’m bringing forth a church here and I’m using you and the Glory of His Grace and the many doors of opportunities that I’m opening to you to bring forth real sons of God who know Me. And you won’t have to keep telling them what they should be doing for they’ll fulfill My Scriptures and they’ll hear a voice saying, “Here’s the way, walk ye in it,” because they hear Me, because My children and I are one, thus saith the Lord.

Prophecy: Again and again I show you the things that pertain to Christ in you, because Christ in you is the only salvation, your only hope of glory. It was said of Christ, “Never another man spoke like Him.” But I tell you this, each of My sons today speak like no other man, because they speak as Christ speaks. Whereas all these false christians who exalt themselves against My Word and claim to be Mine when they’re not, they speak alike. If you’ve heard one you’ve heard them all. But when someone comes to one of My sons and asks, “What are you doing or why are you doing it this way?” They walk away saying, “I’ve never heard such a thing before, nobody else speaks like that one.” And that’s because Christ speaks like that. For My sons truly have Christ in them and no man speaks like Christ speaks, saith the Lord.

Prophecy: It’s not entirely up to you to be made one with Me. It’s not entirely up to you to prove you’re one with Me. It’s not entirely up to you to prove you’re hearing Me or seeing the things I’m showing you or to prove that I’m hearing you. It’s My will that you be one with Me and it’s in My power alone to make you one with Me. You do have a very important part, but your faith must be in Me to make you one with Me. And some of the things that I’ll do if you have faith to be made one with Me is I’ll show you things as the Father showed Me things that are God’s will for you to do and as you do them I’ll confirm strongly that this is in fact the thing I’ve showed you. And in the confirmation you’ll know you’ve truly seen the things I’ve shown you. I’ll show you My will and you’ll pray according to My will and I’ll answer your prayer in such a way that you’ll know I’ve answered your prayer and truly I’ve heard you. And therefore because you’ve heard Me you’ve prayed according to My will, and therefore I’ve heard you. For in all things I’m the one who’s going to confirm you and you’re the one who has faith in Me to seek My confirmation, thus saith the Lord.

Prophecy: There’s no little bitty Jesus, there’s no incomplete Jesus; there’s no “some of Jesus.” Jesus is Jesus because He’s perfect and He’s complete. The concept of growing up in Christ doesn’t mean putting another arm on Jesus or another leg on the Jesus who’s in you. You don’t need to put another eye in the Jesus who’s in you. He’s already complete! The concept of growing up in Jesus is putting Him on all the time instead of just a moment here and a moment there. When you’re in Christ, you’re in the complete Christ for that time that you’re in Him. When you’re out of Christ, you’re out of Him completely for that time you’re out. To make you perfect in Christ is to get you to where you’re one with Him all the time; that’s the work of perfection. Jesus doesn’t need perfecting – He is perfect! To be perfect you just need to learn to abide in Him and stay one with Him all the time, saith the Lord. (Prophecies delivered at “My Father’s House”)
